Best meal in ages. I have no idea why I haven't been back. But now, with friends, seven of us ate here and everyone was thrilled. The food was freshly prepared/cooked… which you could taste immediately… Crispy as it should be, the meat tender, the mushrooms simply delicious, dessert… well, if it weren't for my figure, I would have happily eaten more. You could almost call it a "gourmet temple" that I can definitely recommend… Yes, and thank you to the chef 👍🏻

I can only recommend this place to someone who has plenty of time, a lot of patience, and, above all, isn't hungry. Even if a kitchen employee is absent, it's still a disgrace to have to wait almost two hours for the food after ordering. I found it absolutely disrespectful that the regulars, even those who ordered long after us, seemed to be served first. The attempt to keep us in a good mood with one or three fruit schnapps on the house was simply ridiculous. When my food finally arrived after almost two hours, I had neither appetite nor any desire to stay there at all. We were just a group. After the meal, we weren't even offered a free dessert. Which is a given in other restaurants, even for small meals. Even when it came time to pay, we weren't even offered the bill in the slightest. The customer is king certainly doesn't apply here. If you're not a regular, you just have to wait until the regulars have been served. In return, you can watch one after the other being given priority over you over a shot of schnapps. This is the last place that treats its guests disrespectfully and tries to explain itself to the same old people over and over again. The food was pretty good, but the fun was completely ruined. A restaurant owner should care about the satisfaction of his guests and treat them fairly. In our case, it would have been only fair to inform us right from the start that there would be considerable waiting times. Then we would have had the choice to decide whether to stay and accept the wait or leave. The fact that the atmosphere at the table was almost at zero after the 45th minute of waiting was certainly noticed by the staff. If I were the restaurant owner, I would be so uncomfortable and embarrassed. Besides apologizing, I would try to accommodate guests as much as possible, even if it meant reducing profits or revenue. Such accommodations would include, for example, keeping drinks on the house until our meal is served, or giving us a reasonable discount on the bill. These aren't guarantees of satisfaction, but they show me that the guest is important and that you're fair to them. Especially if it's your first time there. There's no second chance to make a first impression!!

Well, that's a bit difficult. Today was our first time at the Kaiser restaurant. The food was very good, the service was nice, BUT we waited 1 hour and 50 minutes for the starter and then another 30 minutes for the main course. 3.5 hours in total for a normal dinner. I understand staff shortages, and today a kitchen assistant was apparently absent... But then you have to say immediately upon arrival... "Guys, it's taking a while, do you want to stay?"... but they didn't. Obviously, there are a lot of regulars here, which is a good thing. But we "newcomers" had to watch as tables that were occupied AFTER us were allowed to order BEFORE us and were also served drinks and the menu before us. And that even though we had a reservation for 6 people. When it was noticed that we were getting annoyed, we were given an update with apologies, several shots of schnapps, and later a round of drinks on the house. That was very nice, but it doesn't help dispel the impression that regulars are clearly favored here. Unfortunately, you missed the opportunity for us to become regulars. I wanted to try the food today, perhaps planning to celebrate my birthday here. But no, I don't like it here anymore. Sorry, that's a shame.

Whether for regulars' get-togethers or organized family celebrations of various kinds, the food, ambiance, and service are all extremely satisfying and reliable. All requests are met, and you always feel at home there. We're always happy to come back!

I want to update my review. We still really, really enjoy going here. Great service, great food, and it's been the same for years. Even when something goes wrong—which can happen anywhere—it's the way they handle it that, in my eyes, defines a first-class restaurant. And here, complaints are handled first-class. I'm more than thrilled with this family business. And if it takes a little longer, I know about the tiny kitchen where everything is freshly prepared—including my special requests. I hope you stay with us for a long time. Schnitzel like Mom made We're really not big schnitzel eaters—but here you'll find the best schnitzel in Leverkusen and the surrounding area. And on Tuesdays, there's päffgen on tap—if you like Kölsch, you'll love päffgen—and that's only available in select pubs/restaurants. As a long-time regular at the Kaiser restaurant, I would like to say the following about Mr. Roche's review: He visited a restaurant that clearly shows every visitor that its kitchen closes at 9 p.m. It should be clear to everyone that no food is served after that. Anyone who reviews food they didn't receive because the kitchen was closed is behaving incorrectly and is passing on information to readers that is untrue and does not constitute a proper review. As I said, I have known and visited this restaurant for many years and can therefore say that the food is all very good, prepared by the owner herself, and the service is extremely friendly and customer-oriented. To denigrate a restaurant and its staff just because I couldn't order any more food after the kitchen closed is, in my opinion, a total overestimation of one's own abilities. My advice: Before visiting restaurants, check their opening and kitchen hours.

I don't understand Ms. Olivier's review at all. I know the club had reserved a table for 8 people, but 22 showed up! Furthermore, Ms. Olivier ordered a dish that wasn't on the menu that day! Since I was at the restaurant myself that evening, I heard all of this. Besides, people go to this restaurant because everything is always freshly cooked and tastes absolutely delicious. The service is always super friendly and prompt.

The kitchen closes at 9:00 PM 😂🤦🏻‍♂️. A young gentleman immediately turned us away at the entrance. It's very sad that paying guests are being driven away because they apparently don't want to serve guests past 9:00 PM. With such a high level of customer service, the food must be of the same quality as the service. Of course, that's just my assumption, since no one tried to convince me otherwise. 👌

Die Veranstaltung selber war sehr gut organisiert, das Essen lecker und der Service war besonders freundlich. Auch, dass wir spontan mit deutlich mehr Gästen als "bestellt" kamen, konnte hier niemanden aus der Ruhe bringen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Eine sehr schöne Gaststätte mit tollem Biergarten und sehr nettem Personal. Hier wird frisch gekocht (wenn es voll ist, dauert es halt - es ist die Zeit aber auf jeden Fall wert!!) und es schmeckt immer wieder sehr gut. Wir kommen schon seit vielen Jahren immer wieder gerne hier her und freuen uns, dass es so ein Restaurant gibt!

Mitten im Wohngebiet gelegen, Parkplätze fußläufig ausreichend vorhanden. Waren mit einer Gruppe von 20 Personen anwesend. Unsere Gerichte waren vorbestellt, trotzdem warteten wir 1,5 Std darauf. Portionen waren klein. Ich bin noch nie nach einem Champignon-Rahm-Schnitzel hungrig nach Hause gegangen, in dieser Gaststätte ist es mir leider passiert. Die Location war nicht brechend voll, trotzdem ließ der Service auf sich warten. Schade ! Insgesamt sind 2 Sterne wohlwollend.

Gut bürgerliche Küche, die in ordentlichen Portionen auf den Tisch kommt und schmeckt. Das Restaurant ist etwas versteckt gelegen und das Interieur ist nicht mehr ganz neu, aber alles ist sauber, der Service ist flott und freundlich. Preis-Leistung gut. Es gibt auch einen Biergarten. Parkplätze etwas rar. Ich war jetzt schon mehrfach hier, werde wieder kommen!

Bin sehr zufrieden mit allem. Komme gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes Essen, alles frisch zubereitet!!! Service sehr nett und zuvorkommend, gehen auf Einzelvariationen zum Essen perfekt ein. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Parkmöglichkeiten relativ sparsam, fährt man allerdings c.a. 250 Meter weiter, befinden sich viele Parkmöglichkeiten unter der Autobahnbrücke. Der Spaziergang tut nach dem tollen Essen gut. Toiletten sauber, richtige Handtücher zum Hände abtrocknen. Und auch wenn es für das Essen selbst nicht wichtig ist 4-lagiges Toilettenpapier. Wie in einem 5 Sterne Hotel!!! Ich bin außergewöhnlich begeistert! Ich würde dieses Restaurant immer wieder Besuchen! Auf das Essen haben wir zwar etwas länger als gewohnt gewartet, wurden allerdings noch auf Espresso, Latte Macciato und einen Met vom Hause eingeladen. Alle Tische waren besetzt. Einfach PERFEKT! Macht weiter so, so macht Essen gehen Spaß...

Ich war mit meiner erwachsenen Tochter dort und hatte fantastische Knöpfle mit Filet und selber gemachten frittierten Champignons…immer wieder gerne. Dazu ein lecker Kölsch. Der Service war super freundlich und kompetent. Meine Tochter war auch begeistert und wird ihren Geburtstag dort feiern.

Die Gaststätte Kaiser ist eine gute Lokalität, die ihre Stammkunden und Anreiner mit 2 Gasträumen, einem Wintergarten und einer lauschigen Außengastro zu begeistern weiß. Das Essen ist gut. Dienstags wird - statt Sion - Kölsch der kölner Traditionsbrauerei Päffgen ausgeschenkt. Das Essen ist durchweg vernünftig bepreist und portioniert; ein Gruß aus der Küche vor und ein "Verteilerschnäpschen" oder wahlweise Honiglikörchen gibt es nach dem Essen obendrein auch noch. Lobend erwähnt werden sollte auch das aufmerksame und freundliche Personal. Parken in der direkten Umgebung ist schwierig. Die kleine Treppe am Eingang ist weniger behindertenfreundlich. Und insgesamt kann es hier auch ordentlich laut werden. Fazit: Die Familiengastätte Kaiser hätte auch 4,5 Sterne verdient.

In unserer Stadt gibt es kaum noch Restaurants, die deutsche Küche anbieten. Die findet man hier. Donnerstags gibt es leckere Reibekuchen (fällt leider ohne Vorankündigung manchmal aus) mit reichhaltigen Beilagen und auch das Heringstöpfchen ist gut. Im Sommer bietet sich der schöne Biergarten zu einem Besuch an. Der Service ist überwiegend freundlich, manchmal leicht schleppend

Leckeres Essen, es wird viel Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt und die nette Bedienung verdient ein extra Lob! Ein Besuch ist nur zu empfehlen.

Wir waren zwischenzeitlich noch ein paar mal Gast und vor allem im Sommer ist der Biergaren eine Oase der Ruhe und des Schnitzels, auch gern gepaart mit einem guten Wein! Super Essen, super Bedienung, alles hat gepasst Super netter Service. Hier werden wir häufiger hinkommen.

Wir waren gestern zum zweiten Mal mit Freunden da und wieder sehr begeistert. Von außen denkt man das wäre eine normale Dorfkneipe, was es im vorderen Teil auch ist und die wird auch gut angenommen. Im hinteren Teil gibt es einen schönen Wintergarten wo man wunderbar essen kann. Die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut und der Service ist klasse. Man fühlt sich sauwohl. Für die sonnigere Jahreszeit gibt es noch einen sehr schönen Biergarten in dem man prima Sitzen und genießen kann. Sonderwünsche beim Essen werden auch problemlos erfüllt.

Die Gaststäte Kaiser - früher auch "Beim Theo" genannt - braucht eigentlich keine Bewertung. Aber wenn jemand auf der Suche nach einem guten Schnitzel mit selbstgemachten (!) Bratkartoffeln ist, warum sollte man dieses verheimlichen und den Suchenden ratlos zurück lassen. Gutbürgerlich - nicht mehr und nicht weniger - aber dafür richtig gut!
