I have never eaten as delicious as in Bali

We've been here several times and definitely recommend it. The food is always very good. A fantastic service team that puts a lot of heart into their work. We'd love to come back :) The Peters family

We stopped in spontaneously yesterday. The restaurant was packed, but after a short wait, a table was made available for us. The service was friendly and quick, and we had a great conversation along the way. I had the crispy duck, which was a delightful experience—crispy yet not dry. The chef knows exactly what he's doing. The beef dish was also very good. We'll be back, but of course, with a reservation.

Unfortunately, not recommended, especially for vegetarians. There's hardly any choice, and the fried rice with vegetables costs the same as all the meat dishes. The portions could also be a bit larger. Remember to bring cash if you do decide to go here. €44.50 for two shandys and two simple portions of fried rice with vegetables.

We visited the restaurant today and received a warm welcome. Everything tasted wonderful; nothing was left to be desired. The service was extremely friendly; we would love to come back here again.

A truly fantastic restaurant. I've never eaten such good duck as there. By far, the best I've ever had. And the service is more than attentive. I would go back anytime.

We cycled from Kiel and were looking forward to Bali. Unfortunately, they only accept cash payments—and that's in 2025!!! We've now decided on Mehrfisch—what a pity!

Delicious food and very friendly staff

I know those foods are so delicious and good service. But I'm sory to say it is not authentic Indonesian foods mostly chinese-Indonesian foods not a real Indonesian foods for the example: nasi rendang,nasi campur,nasi padang,nasi lodeh,chicken satay,etc.and the real balinese foods are not chinese food either it is AYAM BETUTU . Not only bakmi and nasi goreng. And also the decoration is not real balinese.

Except for one dish, there's no Indonesian food, just standard Chinese takeaway fare with sweet and sour sauce and fried rice. Everything comes with flavor enhancers, but you can opt out of them for 2-3 dishes, but not for most. Too expensive for that, but you pay for the location. The service was good and personal, and that's probably the reason for the good rating; the food wasn't.

Simply top, all in one super and simply recommendable ☺️

Hello everyone, we visited you at Bali today for lunch (spontaneously, without a reservation) and will definitely come back. Although I was a little surprised at first that they didn't accept card payments. But that's definitely no reason to deduct points, because the response to our question was incredibly flexible 😉. It started with the super friendly, almost informal service with a great sense of humor. Wonderfully relaxed, even when we were really busy. The food came really quickly, fresh, and super delicious. I'd even give it a star or two, because today was my Sunday highlight. Thank you, and I'll see you soon! 😊

A real insider tip in Eckernförde! We had a reservation at Bar Lee at 7 p.m. – and what can I say? The food was simply insanely good! For starters, we had the mini Fröhlichsrollen (happy rolls) – super crispy, fresh, and served with a homemade sweet and sour sauce, which the owner says she makes herself. And yes, you can taste it! The sauce was amazing – intense, fruity, perfectly seasoned. Main course: Number 20 – Sweet and Sour Duck with Rice. Guys, I'm not exaggerating: The duck was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and the sauce was absolutely dreamy. Sweet, sour, with a hint of umami – simply well-rounded. The portion was more than sufficient. The ambiance could perhaps be improved – a little more attention to detail wouldn't hurt – but the food makes up for everything. Plus, friendly service and fair prices. Conclusion: If you want good Asian food in Eckernförde – Bar Lee is a must!

Difficult. The service was really nice. The meat was okay. But: Cash only. Waited 1:10 for the food. 90s ambiance. No drinks menu. Like almost all the other tables, we had duck with various sauces. It was really all the standard fare you'd find at the Chinese takeaway at the train station. It's exactly the same sauces, the same vegetables, and therefore the same taste. What's strange is that the duck always comes on a bed of standard sauce with standard vegetables. The only difference between the dishes is the bowl containing the sauce you actually ordered. So we sat in this time machine to the 90s, surrounded by cheeky hairstyles and trendy glasses, and unfortunately, we didn't experience anything special. Except for a hefty bill. For the life of me, I can't understand how anyone could give it 5 stars.

Hello, During our visit last year in September to the neighboring hotel, we booked in advance by phone to eat at Bali. Registering was a pleasant experience of friendliness in itself! The welcome and the service were so warm, just lovely! The selected dishes were simply great! At the end of our vacation we registered again. That evening we had a special experience with another couple and the warm service from the restaurateur herself!!! Now in March / April of this year it was already set that we registered again. It's just fun to spend a few hours there. The food is first class and the service is simply a positive experience! Anyone who knows how strenuous the catering industry is simply cannot value this highly enough!!! The overall assessment deserves another 6th star. We'll definitely be back, the guests at table one Jürgen and Ursula Weitzendorf

Went there at lunchtime and got the last table (we didn't have a reservation). Small, fine restaurant with delicious food. Had 2 x lunch menus (including soup or spring rolls) and left full. February 27, 2024 Were now back again after making a reservation in advance this time. Food and service great again. Always happy again.

Based on the positive reviews, we came with corresponding expectations. 😃 And we left with a smile. We had reserved a table and were immediately greeted with our names. The welcome was warm and the hospitality was very attentive throughout the entire stay. We immediately noticed the calm, relaxed atmosphere. About our orders: The wonton soup with mushrooms was simply excellent. The noodles with chicken were real soul food, extremely seasoned and very finely balanced in terms of taste. The crispy duck with Indonesian curry and coconut absolutely deserves the name “crispy”. The meat was tender and of excellent quality, and the sauce served with it was spicy, but not too spicy. At the end there was a very good plum wine on the house, the quality of which cannot be compared to the usual Chinese plum wines. The toilets were spotless. The restaurant is relatively small, reservations are recommended. We really enjoyed the evening and highly recommend Bali.

The duck was delicious. The selection of dishes is good. The service took a relatively long time to deliver the drinks, even though the shop is relatively small. Sea view is nice.

On the first day we ate there we really liked everything, delicious food, nice service. A drinks menu was missing, it doesn't exist. On the second visit, the "crispy sweet and sour pork" that we ordered was unfortunately a "mess" like thick popcorn in a coating, there was no meat to be found, only thick breading and fried too hard. Should have been returned... but I tried to eat some of it, there was still rice... The other food was good and tasty. Too bad......

The food is delicious and plentiful. In a family atmosphere you immediately feel at home! There is only one point deducted because it is a large open space with no separation from the other table, which I personally don't like. This is a bit reminiscent of “Mensa”, although the position of the tables and the rest of the surroundings almost make up for it. Still highly recommended and rightly so almost always packed, so don't forget to reserve a table in good time...

It's simply delicious...there's no other way to say it. However, it's a bit like an over-60 event, but on the other hand it's good because I can feel young again with delicious food. Crispy duck is probably the most popular; I think 40,000 ducks eat it every day! Absolute recommendation!

At lunchtime we reserved the table for 6 people for the evening. We were warmly welcomed and had a lot of fun. We have rarely had such delicious food in an Indonesian restaurant. The duck was crispy and the slices were thinly sliced. The beef dish was super delicious. We had a lovely evening and would love to come back. Price performance was right. Very tasty food that seems Chinese. If you like eating Chinese food, you can do so at a high level right here. Best location right on the beach with sea air, you couldn't ask for better. Parking spaces behind the house are subject to a charge. The service is attentive and friendly, understands what you want to order. It is better to book a table a day in advance.

Very good Asian/Indonesian restaurant. Extremely friendly service consisting of two ladies. They even take the time to have a little chat. The seating is absolutely lovely and reservations are necessary.

Bali is THE friendliest restaurant in the area. You can tell when you call to reserve a table, which is highly recommended due to its popularity. The food is very tasty and the location is great (right next to the stand). The prices are good too.

Ordinary Chinese snack bar, ambience would have been nice if we had actually gotten a table by the window, instead we got a table next to the counter and the cart for cleaning products, candle holders, etc., the boss wasn't really friendly either, her employees were shooed away, we had the impression that free tables by the window with a view were all reserved for tomorrow and apparently it was too much effort to exchange the 2 cloths and forks... Overall, we won't be coming back 🤷🏼‍♂️

To assess the quality of an Asian restaurant, I ALWAYS order the duck first. So the dishes are comparable to each other. In addition, duck is not that easy to prepare. Here, after years, I have found the best duck to date in an Asian restaurant. Cheers!

Avoid at all cost. The restaurant interiors look more Chinese than Indonesian. The waitress was so rude that I decided to leave- not only because she lacked hospitality but also because the restaurant was empty and smelled like old, burned cheapest oil. Please note the restaurant is located by the dog beach but is not dog (nor people) friendly.

Waren auf Empfehlung dort . Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und bekamen einen Tisch mit Blick auf die Ostsee. Wir entschieden uns für ein Entengericht von der Mittagskarte. Wird wahlweise mit Suppe oder Frühlingsrolle serviert. Das Essen kam zügig an den Tisch und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Ente war sehr saftig und richtig knusprig. Auch die gebackene Banane mit Eis zum Nachtisch war lecker. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir waren begeistert. Ein echter Geheimtipp, danke Udo!

Richtig gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Die Ente ist zart und knusprig. Es gibt sogar sonntags Mittagstisch. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich (10/10) und merkt sich sogar die Namen der Gäste. Man hat von seinen Platz aus Strandblick. Man sollte reservieren, da der Laden sehr beliebt ist.

Mir hat's hier schon super geschmeckt, als es noch Hongkong hieß und die Qualität ist immer noch super gut. Keine langweiligen Fertigsaucen, Fleisch von hoher Qualität und immer alles frisch, so soll es sein. Vielen Dank für die immer freundliche und zuverlässig gute Qualität von Küche und Bewirtung. Meine Frau und ich wurden wirklich freundlich vom Personal empfangen. Da wir spontan ohne zu reservieren ins Bali gegangen sind (Freitagabend 19:15Uhr) hat es mich sehr verwundert, dass wir noch einen Tisch bekommen haben. Der Service war gut, es waren zwei Servicekräfte im Restaurant und sichtbar ein Koch. Das Essen war lecker und die Portionen konnte man gut schaffen. Es gab leckere Ente und Hähnchen
