Great food with great service, we will definitely come back

We had dinner at Poseidon yesterday, and afterwards we went to the dance party there 👍! It was an absolute highlight 👍👍👍! I hope it's repeated next year!!!!!

A wonderful Greek restaurant. Excellent value for money. Really generous portions at a great price, and simply delicious. Friendly staff, friendly owner, and a very good chef. My parents were visiting from Austria, and we were all completely satisfied. The restaurant is always busy in the evenings, so you should definitely reserve a table.

I went there for dinner last Friday with my daughter-in-law and son at 6:30 p.m. (with a table reservation)! The service and food are great💪❗️We got two usos on the house (before dinner and when paying)😘❗️ The restaurant was "packed" (Christmas parties), but everything still went quite quickly❗️ Unfortunately, this made it "very loud" (due to the design) and difficult to have a conversation (hence only 4*)🤷‍♂️ The restrooms are clean, but in need of an update⁉️ Went there today with a friend (the food was again very delicious)👌😋

Very friendly and attentive waiters. The food arrived quickly and was plentiful. There are only a few vegetarian dishes, but it's perfectly adequate for an occasional visit. The meat dishes are also delicious.

Since so many people are so enthusiastic, we headed to Poseidon in Astfeld yesterday. The weather was good, and we were able to sit on the terrace in the back. The staff greeted us warmly, and we immediately received an ouzo. The selection on the menu is very extensive. Dishes can be easily reordered at no extra charge. We chose two different platters and two baked dishes. They also had tzatziki and pita bread. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The portions weren't exactly small and incredibly delicious. The tzatziki and pita bread are also highly recommended. I don't have any photos of the baked dishes (baked chicken and gyros) because you would only have seen the cheese 😉 To finish off, we got a second free ouzo from the house. 4 people with a drink each cost around €85. We will definitely be back. The rest of our visit was also great, and the food was absolutely delicious.

We went for lunch: gyros, suflaki and hands gratinated with Metaxa were really tasty. The children also enjoyed the children's meal of schnitzel with fries.

We travel to Germany very often and always try out Greek restaurants. The Poseidon made it into the top 5. The food is very tasty, the quality is top and the staff is very nice. Absolute recommendation!

For Ost Astfeld, the restaurant was completely fine. However, there are better Greek restaurants in the Goslar area. Some dishes were missing from the menu and I had to order sauces separately...

A restaurant with a nice atmosphere, with a lot of tables in the dining room. When we were there in the late afternoon, it was still pretty empty and therefore very pleasant. When it gets crowded I imagine it being a little loud. The staff was very nice and helpful. The food was delicious, although the meat in the gyros was a bit stringy, but I can still absolutely recommend the restaurant.

Oh yes, it actually tasted quite good. The service was very nice but a bit awkward. I ordered lamb fillet for over €22. What did I get? Lamb salmon divided into 3 parts. Instead of rice I wanted bread. This was available for an additional charge of €4.50. Not charged a cent because I didn't want the rice. The taste was perfect except for the meat. I recognize all meat raw and fried. The fact that I was cheated out of the fillet was one thing. The waitress mumbled in embarrassment. The boss is coming tomorrow. Ok, if the chef isn't there, the chef doesn't know which meat is which. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the way the complaint was processed.

After we had often read positive things about the restaurant, I wanted to try it out. The food was all ok...I didn't think it was any better or worse than other Greek restaurants. What I particularly liked was how we were served...so friendly, considerate and nice...that alone is great praise...I'll come back and try another menu

We had a spontaneous meal here, the restaurant has a lot of space in the dining room, there is a hall and a small beer garden that I really liked. In the dining room, the tables are quite close together, everything is quite bright, there is not much ambience, hence the point deduction. The food was very good, large portions for a good price. There were four of us there, everyone ordered something different and everyone was very satisfied. Big compliments to the kitchen. The service is very friendly, there is an ouzo at the welcome and at the end. I can only recommend it.

Very friendly staff. Good cuisine. If it's very busy, you have to wait a while until your order is taken. Food will then arrive in a reasonable time.

Were there from football. The food was great. Terrace has a cozy atmosphere. In terms of price, I have to say, a bit too expensive in my opinion, gyros between €8 and €16, whether gratinated or not. As far as the matter is concerned, it is cheaper in lgh. So every day or week who isn't inside. But it's just a restaurant and it has to survive, I realize. But despite everything, the food is highly recommended.

We sat outside on the newly built terrace. The food was overall very tasty. The pork tenderloin was a bit tough. Otherwise there was nothing to complain about. The service was very friendly and quick. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back.

Friendly and attentive service. Salad first and foremost, nothing special and a bit bland. Main course bifteki with sheep's cheese filling (according to the menu): Bifteki was good, but it wasn't sheep's cheese, just cheap substitute cheese/milk cheese. That's not possible and is consumer deception.

After the change of ownership, both the previous warmth and the quality of the kitchen decreased in my opinion. I can recommend this restaurant 100%! Especially with children, you are in great hands here! So far we have only ordered twice for pick-up and we were very convinced. This evening it was a spontaneous idea to eat there. Reservation by telephone was possible without any complications and was very friendly. When I arrived there, my husband and I, our two sons and my parents received a very warm and relaxed welcome. There was an ouzo and, to get the kids involved, there were also 2 grape juices in a shot glass, which I personally found very cute. We found ourselves in a nice atmosphere. At all times you didn't feel pressured and at the same time you felt like you were in good hands. The menu is very diverse. Here you will find all the well-known traditional Greek dishes as well as a good selection of children's plates and drinks. We ordered 4 mixed plates for the adults, with gyros, souflaki, bifteki, liver, steak and lamb chops. Swapping rice for fries or half and half was absolutely no problem. Plus 2 portions of tzatziki. The boys independently ordered a children's plate with gyros and fries and one with nuggets and fries. The food was absolutely plentiful and really, really tasty. I have some problems due to food intolerances and had stomach surgery. I can't eat very much. But it wasn't a problem at all to have the rest packed up, and there were no comments, as I unfortunately often experience and then have to justify myself... The food wasn't greasy at all and was very fresh. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures, but everything was beautifully presented. Exactly how you want it. The highlight was a small popsicle for the boys afterwards, which was included with the children's menu. We were all very satisfied and will definitely come back! Big praise also to the two nice, child-friendly ladies who served us! When leaving the restaurant the children were given a lollipop ♥️ really, really great, thank you for the lovely evening with you!! We will recommend you and you deserve all 5 stars!!

With all love and understanding, I have never waited so long for service. There were 6 people who had reserved and arrived 17 minutes after the appointment. After 20 minutes we were able to place our order. After another 20 to 25 minutes we had our drinks. Then it was another hour until the food came. That's not how it works. The garden was closed, only the two rooms in the restaurant were occupied except for 3 small tables. We didn't know the restaurant and since we were on a short vacation in the area, we went by the positive reviews. And then this...if I had been alone with my husband, I would have gotten up and left after 20 minutes of waiting. This may all sound unpleasant, but I worked in service for 6 years and you live from your own efficiency and the resulting tips. The food was good. It's really a shame that we had to wait so long.

Went there in the evening on May 1st, 24 with 3 adults and 1 child. Very friendly, courteous and child-friendly service! As a welcome there were 3 Ouzo + an Ouzo glass with water for the 3-year-old = TOP! The food was all very tasty and beautifully prepared. The desserts also left nothing to be desired. We will definitely eat there again when we are nearby. Therefore a clear recommendation.

Sehr schönes griechisches Restaurant. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Leckeres und reichhaltiges Essen. Sonderwünsche wie andere Beilagen wurden sofort berücksichtigt und waren kein Problem.
