Great restaurant, very friendly service, and consistently excellent food! The menu is fun, and we'd love to come back more often, but getting a table at short notice in the evening is almost impossible. This shows that many people are very satisfied there.

Everything was top-notch, as always. And what I particularly like is the service. At least 10 stars.

I had venison today, which unfortunately wasn't to my taste, but as they say, there's no accounting for taste. We felt very well taken care of for our Christmas party. You'd think that a successful business would eventually settle into a routine – but this restaurant is and remains amazing. We arrived spontaneously at 8:45 pm and got a table right away. My husband had the Grahlstopf (goulash soup) and the Hirsch Heinrich (a venison stew) with the "robber's plate," extra gravy, and red cabbage instead of beans. (We weren't that hungry anymore, hence the "robber's plate.") The food arrived quite quickly and was, once again, very delicious. We were happy to pay the extra €1 for the extra plate. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

I had an XXXL currywurst there, which was extremely delicious. But I couldn't finish it! 🙂 There were four of us, and we also had various schnitzels, all of which were very tasty. The atmosphere is modern and very cozy. I will definitely be eating there again. A clear recommendation with a clear conscience.

This was our third time here. Everything tastes amazing and there's more than you can possibly eat! They provided individual containers, and even reheated, the rump steaks were still incredibly tender and delicious! The sambal and Jack Daniel's sauces are fantastic! They even provided crayons and coloring books for the kids.

Large portions, super friendly service, and even when it's full, you can still have a conversation. Plenty of parking. Overall, it's more of an American style – combined with Harz Mountain charm 👍

We meet there every now and then because the place came highly recommended. So far, I've never been disappointed! I've worked my way through the schnitzel menu and I have to commend the kitchen. The side dishes are always generous, except for the Jägerschnitzel (hunter's schnitzel), where you might want to order a bit more mushroom sauce. Taste-wise, it definitely deserves 5 stars. A booking system error?! We had a reservation for Sunday lunchtime, but unfortunately, no one at the restaurant knew anything about it. Even though we had a booking confirmation by email, we were then expected to wait with everyone else who didn't have a reservation… Unacceptable!

The food was fantastic, every single item on the table was delicious. We were absolutely stuffed when we drove back to Magdeburg. We'll definitely be back; there was so much on the menu we wanted to try!

Without a reservation, it's very difficult to get a table, so it's best to book in advance. We only had a short wait to get to our table. We also found the wait for the food after ordering to be reasonable. Our waitress was very attentive and brought us containers for the leftovers to take away after about 20 minutes without us even asking. Overall, it was a great evening.

Things were better in the past... a lot on the plate doesn't mean it tastes particularly good.

The restaurant is very popular. Reservations are essential. There's a waiting area where you can order and receive drinks even if there isn't a table available yet. The restaurant is decorated with attention to detail, and the restrooms are clean and modern. The service was quick, attentive, and friendly. Mr. Marcel Archie, in particular, was attentive and customer-oriented, anticipating that a lunchbox would be needed at the end of the meal given the generous portions. :-) We left feeling very satisfied. Highly recommended.

It's an acquired taste. I went twice with my mom because she likes it. As a vegan, I at least had the currywurst. They also have vegan schnitzel for vegetarians, which unfortunately is cooked right next to/with the meat. The staff is friendly, I like the conservatory, but it's too dark inside for me. The furniture is beautiful. I've always been there off-season, so it wasn't crowded. I don't even want to imagine how loud it is when the place is packed.

Well, the restaurant is called Schnitzel King, so I was really expecting a good schnitzel. My schnitzel was more like a steak. Quite thick and nowhere near a really good schnitzel. What a shame. Here you get quantity over quality. If you're looking for an XXL restaurant, you'll be happy here. It's also quite expensive for pork. The ambiance and service, however, were first-class!

There's a separate waiting area where you can also get something to drink. Making a reservation is certainly the better option, but in our opinion, the wait was definitely worth it. Excellent service, very friendly, patient, and helpful... The food was amazing (huge selection), and we were equally impressed by the rustic yet bright ambiance. We were also particularly impressed by their social commitment. They regularly hold fundraising events where generous donations are made. Currently, they're donating to the "Kinderherzen" (Children's Hearts) charity.

We went to Schnitzelkönig on the Monday after the clocks changed and were lucky enough to reschedule for an earlier time slot. Arriving at almost 9:00 PM (summer time) would have been very late. It wasn't overcrowded. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to a spacious table. Our order arrived relatively quickly. Since we didn't want any vegetables with our schnitzel, we ordered the "small mixed salad" on the side. Honestly, we really enjoyed it. The schnitzel and fries were also delicious, but as expected. The fact that the salad was so varied and flavorful was a great bonus. Overall, it was a pleasant evening of dining in a friendly atmosphere. Other guests, some with disabilities, were also treated courteously.
