A fantastic restaurant! I was truly delighted with my visit. The food was fresh, lovingly prepared, and incredibly delicious – every dish was a highlight. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, just the right place to spend a lovely evening. The service was also outstanding: very friendly, attentive, and quick, without being intrusive. You can tell that they work with passion. I will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food and a pleasant experience!

A super delicious restaurant. The food tastes amazing and is something special. We had an appetizer platter with hot and cold dishes, which I highly recommend. For our main course, we had the 95 😉 The food arrived at the perfect time – not too fast, but not too late either; there was plenty of time in between, which we really appreciated. The service is also exceptionally good, especially the young woman who was waiting for us. 🫶🏻 We'll definitely be back!! ☺️

A truly wonderful restaurant. The dishes are perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented in generous portions – we ordered a variety of appetizers and ate them like tapas. Plenty of vegetarian options :) The feta with honey, pistachios, and figs was the absolute highlight for us, and the overall price was very reasonable. We also particularly appreciated the service; it was very friendly and attentive.

We went to this restaurant because we wanted to try some Turkish cuisine. We shared a main course and each ordered a delicious one. The appetizer was very tasty with the bread and the three different dips. The main course was absolutely delicious; the lamb was tender and flavorful. The lemon iced tea is also highly recommended. To finish, we were offered a complimentary Turkish tea. The service was incredibly friendly, with the staff checking on us several times to make sure everything was alright. We would definitely eat there again.

There were six of us, and we all had the set menu for €40. Everything was delicious. The small dessert, a kind of cake or something, was a bit too sweet for my taste, but otherwise everything was great :)

I've rarely visited such a harmonious restaurant. The atmosphere was as comfortable as being at a friend's house. The variety of appetizers was enormous. The main courses were sensational (we had braised lamb, kofta, and chicken in peanut sauce). The service was polite and very attentive. All in all, a very successful evening.

We went with my friends for a special evening, there was live music, only the music was good. The service was very slow, the food arrived cold, the vorspeisen was too little for 4 people, the salad arrived after we finished the main course, the dessert was one slice of cake for two people, that's very surprising, I had gone when it first opened and now it's deteriorated a lot, it wasn't prepared with care for a special evening...

ISK Hannover booked catering from Restaurant Aspera for this year's Christmas party. For an event with 50 guests, they provided dishes, cutlery, glasses, and a wide variety of delicious food. Two servers attended the party throughout. We were extremely satisfied with the service and the food selection. The contact person was always readily available during the planning phase and accommodated even last-minute requests. The servers provided excellent service to our guests throughout the evening. Hopelessly overwhelmed! For my wife's birthday – which I had mentioned when making the reservation a few weeks in advance – we had the "pleasure" of visiting this restaurant. Upon entering, we discovered that there were no tables available and were asked to sit in the entrance area and wait there with complimentary sparkling wine. Everything was quite hectic and disorganized, mainly due to insufficient staff for a fully booked establishment. After about 25 minutes, we were shown to our small table. This had been placed right next to the hot clay oven in the passageway to the restrooms. It was quite warm there, and there was a lot of foot traffic. I tried to address the frantic staff about this several times, but despite our empty glasses, no one paid any attention to us for another 30 minutes. When I'd had enough – what a pathetic performance for a birthday dinner! – I stood up and told the waiter we were leaving. He apologized and asked us to stay, but after more than an hour wasted due to complete ignorance, lack of professionalism, and understaffing, we no longer wanted to let him ruin our evening. The food couldn't be that good! We then had fantastic sushi at the wonderful Sushi-Do on Thielenplatz! They were genuinely welcoming and had great staff!

We had originally planned to go to this restaurant yesterday evening, Saturday. Unfortunately, it was completely packed, and we hadn't made a reservation. So we made a reservation for tonight. We received a very friendly welcome, and they even apologized for the restaurant being so full the day before. We were given a lovely table by the window. We ordered the hot and cold appetizer. It arrived quickly, was very varied, and delicious. Then we moved on to the main course. I ordered the mixed grill, and my wife had the lamb skewer in pastry. The meat was incredibly tender, especially the lamb chop, which was absolutely fantastic—I've never had anything like it. We were both completely full, but I had seen the amazing dessert at the next table, and I just had to have it. So we ordered two portions of baklava. It was so delicious; it truly deserves its reputation as the best baklava in Lower Saxony. We paid and left very satisfied. If we're ever in Hanover again, we'll definitely come back. A great restaurant with wonderful staff and delicious food.

We placed our order normally, and only after about 30 minutes were we informed that one of the two dishes was unavailable. In total, we waited about an hour for our food. We also ordered water, which unfortunately tasted like it had been refilled or was from the day before. Although we were the only customers, the waiter seemed very rushed and stressed – but he was still friendly. The food itself, however, was delicious.

With a maximum of 7 customers, I shouldn't have to wait 45 minutes for tea. That's no way to generate revenue or boost beverage sales. Furthermore, a table arrived later than us and received their food first. Generally, the place was often empty for long periods. The service wasn't running smoothly, even at lunchtime. The food was tasty, but in my opinion, the portions weren't commensurate with the price. Unfortunately, that was my first and last visit.

The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the location is excellent. It's also very easy to get to, right in the city center. I deducted one star because the prices are a bit high. They could be a bit more affordable.

I can't understand the good reviews. We were there Saturday evening at 6:30 pm. We were shown to our table, but menus were forgotten and only provided after we asked for them, after we noticed that the people at the next table received theirs immediately when they were brought to them. They were out of Efes beer, which is absolutely unacceptable for a Turkish restaurant. For an appetizer, we received a plate with two dips and five olives. I assume you get these if you're too far along in the menu… But five olives for four people is a bit meager… The salad, which is usually included with the meal, was served on a single plate for all four of us… Why? Firstly, there was far too little of it, and secondly, I want my salad on my own plate and don't want to have to negotiate with three other people about whether I can have one of the two tomatoes. When we paid, we then learned that the obligatory tea was only available to people who were waiting at a table… You don't feel valued as a guest at all… What a shame. The food itself was fine, but everything else was disappointing…

We were a group of 15. The service was friendly but unfortunately overwhelmed. The restaurant was busy, which was evident from the fact that there didn't seem to be enough cocktail and shot glasses. The warm appetizer platter was disappointing. The photo shows two slices of eggplant, one slice of zucchini, some sauce, and four small börek. The four sauces and some bread arrived later, after we had almost finished eating. Other appetizers were good, except for the mushrooms, which could have been seasoned more. The main courses were good; the lamb fillet was cooked perfectly. The desserts were delicious. Unfortunately, with every course, some items were missing, or there were too many side dishes. Drinks took a very long time, and ordering more was somewhat difficult. The promise that we could use our two tables without a specific time limit was retracted, and we ended up squeezing into one table. Conclusion: Overall, a nice restaurant. Not really suitable for larger celebrations during normal operation.

Unfortunately, I had a very bad experience. When you order a vegetable casserole as a vegetarian and then find a lot of meat in the dish, and when you ask about it, the only response is that "that's just how it is," then that was definitely my last visit.

We went there for a business dinner in the evening and all thought it was excellent. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this isn't the place for you; it was packed and very lively. The food and service were outstanding. We'll gladly come back.

We had our trade fair catering done by Restaurant Aspera. Throughout the day, we had a varied selection of finger food. For the evening event, we had a hot buffet. Everything was delicious. Our guests were very satisfied. Working with the team was highly professional. They were attentive to our needs, very helpful, and extremely flexible. We know who we'll be using again for the next trade fair. :-)

We opted for an appetizer platter, the chicken strips, and the mixed grill. We were simply delighted. All the dishes were delicious.

We were warmly welcomed with a glass of tea and were seated at a comfortable table. The ambiance is a blend of traditional and modern. We like the mix. The service is very attentive; we didn't miss anything. The portions are generous and the value for money is reasonable, albeit a bit pricey. The wine is also delicious. We are very satisfied and completely full. We will definitely be back.

After a long break, we enjoyed the excellent Turkish cuisine at Aspera several times in quick succession. The cooking here is still of a very high standard. My favorite dishes – the cold appetizer platter and the main course, the stuffed eggplant "Immam Bayildi" – have never been better than at Aspera!

I'm not a fan of lamb. There are two or three chicken dishes, one of which I chose, but unfortunately it tasted bland. For my starter, I chose zakiki (everything else was out of the question for me), which unfortunately didn't taste fresh, but rather stale. I can't complain about the fact that the Turkish restaurant only serves Turkish wine, but I do think it's a shame. So I stuck with beer. What's absolutely unacceptable, though, is that the restroom was unkempt. The food and drinks, overall, were rather expensive. Parking nearby was a matter of luck.

Was für ein toller Abend im Aspera in Hannover! Das Essen ist echt etwas Besonderes – türkische Küche, die mit viel Liebe gemacht wird. Ich hatte das Aspera Special mit Hähnchenspieß, geräucherten Auberginen und einem Hauch Aprikose – so eine geniale Kombination, die hab ich so noch nie gegessen! Auch der Karışık Izgara Grillteller war super lecker, das Fleisch perfekt gewürzt und das gegrillte Gemüse richtig frisch. Alles ist schön angerichtet und schmeckt, als käme es direkt aus einem Istanbuler Restaurant. Der Service war einfach klasse! Das Team ist total freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt für eine richtig warme Atmosphäre – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen.

Letzten Samstagabend war ich mit meiner Familie in diesem Restaurant – und es war eine absolute Enttäuschung. Schon die Wartezeit auf unser Essen war eine Frechheit. Als es dann endlich kam, war es kalt. Nicht lauwarm – wirklich kalt. Die Bedienung? Unfreundlich, überfordert und kaum verständlich. Auf unsere berechtigte Kritik wurde patzig reagiert, als wären wir das Problem. Der krönende Abschluss kam beim Bezahlen: Kartenzahlung mal wieder nicht möglich – angeblich, weil das Gerät „runtergefallen“ sei. Das Kuriose? Genau denselben „Zufall“ haben auch schon Freunde von mir bei ihrem Besuch dort erlebt. Sehr fragwürdig. Fazit: Wer Wert auf warmes Essen, höflichen Service und eine reibungslose Bezahlung legt, sollte um dieses Restaurant einen großen Bogen machen. Ich jedenfalls komme garantiert nie wieder.

We went to Iftar with friends at the Aspera Restaurant and I can say with certainty: I have never eaten such excellent food in Hanover! From starters to dessert, every dish was a masterpiece. The quality of the ingredients, the perfect preparation and the incomparable taste impressed us all. I was particularly impressed by the authenticity of Turkish cuisine at the highest level, combined with a modern, elegant touch. The ambience? High class! A stylish interior, a warm atmosphere and service that is second to none. The staff was attentive, professional and at the same time warm - we felt completely at home. The Aspera Restaurant sets new standards in Hanover. Anyone who values ​​first-class food, a luxurious ambience and perfect service cannot ignore this restaurant. Absolute recommendation – 10/10! We'll definitely be back!

At first we were served in a friendly manner, but once we had our drinks no one was seen in the courtyard. After 2 hours of waiting, the food was served without comment. The suggestion that a starter was still missing was accepted with a shrug. In terms of taste, the dishes were okay, but nothing special and did not represent a good price/performance ratio. Overall rather disappointing.

Waited almost 2 hours for the food. Absolutely unfriendly staff. Unprofessional to the point of no longer possible. Only focused on making money. You have to remind and beg 4 to 5 times for the food you ordered. Never again because there you are just a number...

Here there is no “show” to attract guests, but the focus is entirely on the food, and you can taste it too. The service is very accommodating and the chefs are passionate about what they do. If you want to eat a kebab here you won't find one. Because on the menu there are only traditional Turkish dishes, all of which are thoroughly recommended. For me, by far the best Turkish restaurant in Hanover.

I was there to break my fast and waited about 2 hours for the main course. The food was still tasty but the service was catastrophic. If I arrive an hour before breaking the fast and order, I expect the food to arrive on time. Nevertheless, I had to wait 1 hour for the main course, so I waited a total of 2 hours. Not recommended unless you are very patient.

We went to iftar dinner as a family one evening and encountered service that had nothing to do with what was written in the iftar menu and the visual.

Mein Freund hat mich mit dem Valentinstags-Day überrascht und hat einen Tisch für 2 Personen reserviert. An dem Abend war auch Live Musik vorhanden, deswegen wollte ich unbedingt auch dorthin. Wir kamen um 19.30 uhr und haben unsere erste Bestellung (nur Getränke) um 20.00 Uhr abgegeben. Die Getränke kamen nach 20 min. Wartezeit. Daraufhin wollte ich noch Wasser bestellen. Als wir gemerkt haben, dass das Wasser nicht kommt, haben wir zwischenzeitlich Cola bestellt. Nach gefühlt 1 Stunde dürfen wir endlich aus dem Fix-Menü etwas bestellen. Nach einer Stunde, wo das Wasser immernoch nicht kam, kam dafür endlich nach einer Stunde die Cola. Grössteils bin ich wirklich wegen der Livemusik dorthin die leider viel zu spät angefangen hat. Nachdem jedes Tisch das Essen bekommen hat. Waren wir relativ zum schluss dran mit dem Essen. Der Service war viel mit dem grossen Tisch an gange, dass wir immer vergessen wurden sind. Mein Tellergericht kam zuerst und dann hies es, was mein Freund nochmal bestellt hätte? Als wir die Bestellung nochmal abgeglichen haben, kam auch nach weiterer stunde Endlich das bestellte Wasser. So sassen wir mit 3 verschiedenen Getränken jeweils und mit einem also mein Gericht gegenüber. Unser Ziel des Abends war ZUSAMMEN ZU ESSEN. Nach 5 min. kam eine andere Kellnerin entschuldigte sich dafür und fragte nochmal nach was mein Freund bestellt hätte. Nach 15 min kam der erste kellner und hat ebenfalls nachgefragt. So langsam wurde ich ungeduldig und das hatte mir man auch angesehen. Sein Essen kam einfach 20 min später und meik essen, weil ich SELBSTVERSTÄNDLICH gewartet habe, weil wir ZUSAMMEN. Essen wollten, war KALT. Ich habe drauf hingewiesen dass mein essen in der Zwischenzeit kalt geworden ist, ob man das erwärmen kann. Da hies es nein, tut mit leid. Ich war baff. Ich hab an den Abend gefühlt nichts gegessen. Man sagte uns wir verrechnen das später mit einen rabatt. Ok, dachten wir uns. Zwar wurde uns noch ein Getränk außerhaus geschenkt, aber nach so vielen Getränken, brachte, dies auch nichts. Am Ende beim Zahlen, mussten wir die volle Summe zahlen, wo ich einfach schockiert war. Es wurde 160€ dafür verlangt, für ein essen was wir nicht geniessen konnten. Fazit: ich bin mit leeren Magen und enttäuscht nachhause. Schade, dass man sich auf etwas so freut, und am ende so enttäuscht rauskommt. Es wäre kein Meisterwerk dass essen wieder zu erwärmen. Ich habe dieses Restaurant immer weiter empfohlen, da ich selbst in einem Hotel arbeite, wo viele Gäste nach Restaurants fragen, die gut sind. Dies werde ich in Zukunft nicht mehr erwähnen leider.

Wir sind gerne im Aspera. Seit unserem ersten Besuch hier, kommen wir jedes Mal gerne hierher. Das Angebot der Speisekarte ist vielfältig und gut durchdacht. Die Vorspeisen, egal ob warm oder kalt, sind alle sehr lecker und deswegen empfiehlt sich eine der gemischten Platten. Bei den Hauptspeisen hat uns bis jetzt alles hervorragend geschmeckt. Heute hatten wir unter anderem die gemischte Grillplatte. Alles war wunderbar. Der Service war auch freundlich und top. Wir empfehlen das Apsera sehr gerne weiter!

The food was a bit limited but quite good. The taste was right. Selection was excellent. I can't say anything about the price, I was invited. Definitely not my last visit. See you soon.

If there are four of you, you should definitely choose the “Trip through Turkey”. So you can try out various dishes.

Restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. We really liked the comfortable chairs at the tables. First class service, very friendly and always attentive. The food was excellent, we had "Sultan's Food" and the "Grill Plate" as main courses. I also recommend enjoying a raki. This is served very nicely here in an ice-cold cup (photo).

I recently visited the restaurant and was completely impressed. As soon as you enter you feel welcome, the atmosphere is cozy and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I was particularly impressed by the food. The dishes were freshly prepared and tasted excellent. The meze and meat dishes in particular were fantastic. The portions are generous and you can tell that great emphasis is placed on quality here. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely good. The price is more than fair for the quality and size of the portions. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants top-notch Turkish cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

This restaurant is a true dream and can absolutely be recommended! The ambience and service are simply incredible – we will definitely be back. I can particularly recommend the lamb fillet!

Based on a recommendation, we visited the restaurant for the first time on New Year's Eve. The dishes of lamb chops and Ali Nazik with salad and a cold starter understandably came a little late. Since I know original Turkish dishes, I found our dishes to be very unseasoned, unfinished, not plentiful, and carelessly prepared. E.g. Ali Nazik's dish lacked a touch of garlic and melted butter. I was previously unfamiliar with raw tomato slices. We were promptly asked to leave our table without dessert or a drink because the next guests wanted to use their reservation. This type of management was unknown to me until then. Luckily WE had already finished eating. The organization was very bad. I will definitely not visit this restaurant again nor recommend it to others.
