The white tablecloth, and my son... of course, there was tomato sauce on my shoes and my white sweater. And it's not a cheap sweater. That was very disappointing. They couldn't even say sorry. I went there for breakfast with my family this morning, and it was simply outstanding! Highly recommended. Great breakfast for a really great price. The ambiance and food were excellent, and the service rocked the place! The show they put on has convinced me to make breakfast and dinner there weekly!

Came in for my birthday and had the most amazing meal!! Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the Dubai style cheesecake! The staff were also so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

A nice, bright dining room and one of the few restaurants these days that still serves tablecloths and cloth napkins. Unfortunately, that's all the positive things I can say. My suggestion that we'd like to sit in the winter garden, which the staff member had specifically noted on the phone, was ignored. We were told to choose a table in the regular dining room. The wait for our appetizers was about an hour, and we couldn't even begin them because we had to wait another 15 minutes for the bread to finally be served. The service wasn't particularly attentive and seemed more like a dutiful person. The portion sizes are fine, the taste is okay, but nothing special. The prices are high.

Disappointing service and poor organization We were at the Aspendos restaurant today and had actually reserved a table outside. However, despite the high temperatures, we were only offered a seat inside – and it was extremely warm. The start was disappointing: We had to wait half an hour before anyone even took our order – and that was only after we actively asked. Then another 40 minutes passed before the drinks arrived. These were warm, however (Spezi and Coke). When we asked, we were told that they had run out of chilled drinks and had to fetch them from the cellar. This simply shouldn't happen in a restaurant – appropriate preparation should be a given. I had ordered soup, which arrived eventually, but without bread. By the time the bread finally arrived, my soup was already eaten – very annoying. After about another 20-30 minutes, the food finally arrived for almost everyone… almost! For one adult at the table, their food was simply forgotten. No apology, no friendly gesture – just a question about whether the person still wanted their food. There were also no napkins on the table, and the staff generally seemed inexperienced and overwhelmed. The prices are clearly too high for what's on offer. I'm happy to pay for good food and good service, but this is unacceptable to me. Conclusion: Nice restaurant, but catastrophic service and organizational deficiencies. Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend it.

We've eaten there three times so far and have been impressed every time! The food is truly fantastic, the ambiance is lovely both inside and out, and the welcome is exceptionally friendly. We highly recommend the appetizer selection; it's a must-try. We'll definitely be going back for a fourth time and definitely more!

The waiters were completely overwhelmed and forgot the starter and main course three times. The food was borderline acceptable. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant, though. While they did have authentic Turkish dishes, you'd definitely be better off elsewhere for the money.

Wer türkische Küche mag, sollte bei seinem nächsten Stuttgart Besuch unbedingt in dieses Restaurant. Modern aber gemütlich eingerichtet mit schönem Wintergarten. Die Speisekarte ist sehr umfangreich mit vielen tollen Gerichten. Wir waren zu Zweit zum Nachtessen und waren von den leckeren Speisen sehr begeistert. Der Service war auch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Stuttgart sind.

I've never been able to eat at a Turkish restaurant abroad before. They're usually unclean and have bad food. This place broke my prejudices. The atmosphere is lovely, and the food is just as good as in Turkey. The kids also got to try something besides pasta. We had the meatballs, köpoğlu, mantı, and rice pudding. We loved them all. The soups are also good.

The food was very good, including the mezze. I do have to criticize the service, which always had to be called for drinks; the plates were cleared much too late, and with an annoying expression on their faces. Service could be better.

Our new favorite place with the most delicious appetizers I've eaten in Germany. We were looking for a small but elite venue for our friend's birthday. When we saw this place, the venue was big but we said let's try it. They gave us a wonderful evening experience with their friendly team. Among the dishes, beyti and cokertme were our favorites, but never leave without trying the appetizers!

Nice atmosphere, but the staff wasn't particularly friendly. We arrived and were told straight away that we had a time limit for brunch because our table would then be given to others, even though we had made a reservation for breakfast in advance via WhatsApp. We were also told via WhatsApp that we could eat until 2 p.m. But we were greeted on site with the words that we had to leave at 11:30 a.m.

We were particularly enthusiastic about the sucuk with egg - perfectly seasoned, really juicy and the menemen, which tasted just like we know it from Turkey: warm, tomatoey, slightly spicy, simply delicious! The classic side dishes such as olives, cheese, honey, Simit and fresh bread were also great. Nothing was missing. The service was friendly, attentive but not intrusive, just as you would expect. You can tell that people cook with love and serve with heart. Overall it was a very nice breakfast experience that we will definitely repeat. If you are looking for an authentic, rich Turkish breakfast, Aspendos is the right place for you. Absolute recommendation!

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. We were not given a menu - the waiter simply ordered for us himself without informing us of possible options. Throughout the stay we had to get up several times to ask for simple things like menu or tea as we were ignored. Breakfast took over an hour to arrive, and the tea we ordered didn't come until after dinner - a full two hours later. The pot was also much too small, and when we asked for more tea, fresh tea wasn't brought to us three times. The excuse we were given was that there were “so many of us” and they couldn't keep up - even though we had reserved and there were even two fewer people than planned. So you could have easily prepared. Overall poor service, unfortunately absolutely not recommended.

Die Gerichte waren fad und nicht frisch. Besonders enttäuschend war das Hauptgericht, das kalt und überkocht serviert wurde. Auch die Portionsgrößen waren im Vergleich BK zum Preis sehr mager. Insgesamt war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis schlecht, und ich kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Es gibt definitiv bessere Optionen in der Umgebung.

You shouldn't necessarily go if you're not Turkish and you haven't made a reservation. You get a table, but you are not served. And when you say something, a finger is waved in your face. An extremely unpleasant experience that makes you feel like a second-class citizen.

I was here once in the summer and found the food really tasty. Unfortunately I wasn't so impressed this time. The eggplant cream was rather bland, the octopus was not al dente, and the meat was unseasoned. Unfortunately the bulgur was also overcooked. However, I would like to positively highlight the lentil soup and the manti – they were really tasty.

Seit 13 Jahren sind wir treue Stammgäste des Restaurants. Immer zufrieden und nun das: Schon beim Eintreten des Restaurants störten wir uns an der überaus lauten Musik. Warum man plötzlich so beschallt wir.....keine Ahnung. Völlig unpassend für ein Speiselokal der gehobenen Klasse! Aber es kam noch schlimmer: Die Speisen wurden auf kalten Tellern serviert. Ein absolutes no go. Auch das Essen war teilweise kalt (Kartoffeln) Den kostenlosen Raki gibt es ja schon eine Weile nicht mehr. Der hätte uns vielleicht etwas aufgewärmt, denn im Raum war es sehr kalt. Nachdem unser überaus kompetenter und freundlicher Oberkellner Elvis nicht mehr da ist, sehen wir keinen Grund mehr, das Aspendos zu unserem Lieblingsrestaurant zu zählen.
