Typical Greek restaurant in Germany. The food is okay, but could definitely be better. Con: When I tried to make a reservation for the following day by phone, no one answered the phone—even though it was open. I had to drive there after work to make a reservation in person.

Incredibly delicious, juicy meat, aromatic vegetables, salad, and sauces! I never expected to find myself in such a pleasant atmosphere with truly delicious food just by walking into a random restaurant! Eating a whole portion of any dish is a challenge! I took it home with me ☺️👍😋

Only rated 4 star as literally delivered mains 4 minutes after the starter- gives no time to finish starter and feel bad for then leaving so much food.

We were there for dinner this evening. It was fantastic. Excellent value for money. The dinner was super delicious. There's a great selection of Greek dishes. Great grilled meats and everything your heart desires when it comes to Greek food. They also have great food for kids. Every child will find something there. Whether it's pasta, potato wedges, rice, or whatever. The wait staff are very friendly and accommodating. It was a very successful and delicious dinner.

We are absolutely thrilled! On a Thursday evening, we spontaneously looked for a restaurant for four adults and one child and found it here. There was a free table, and we were able to eat there. Super friendly service and delicious, quickly prepared food. At the end, we were treated to a round of ouzo on the house, and even the child got a "kids' schnapps." Absolutely top-notch value for money. We can recommend it without reservation. ;)

I'm a regular customer... it meets all expectations. I recommend coming here; you won't be disappointed.

I ordered lamb chops. The menu listed them as having four pieces, but I only got one lamb chop and three small pieces of lamb loin. The one lamb chop was fine, but the pieces of lamb loin were tough and inedible. I explained to the manager that they couldn't serve pieces of lamb loin as lamb chops, or that they had to state this on the menu. The answer was, we'll do it like the previous owners did. But instead of apologizing or accommodating someone, that's out of place. So if someone wants to eat lamb chops, they should ask beforehand whether they are lamb chops.

It was absolutely delicious, as always. Although it was unusually busy due to the trade fair, the service was attentive and polite as usual. We were asked several times in a very friendly manner if everything was okay and if we needed anything else. We'd be happy to come back.

Ordered two dishes there via Wolt. We do NOT bake gyros (usually with potato slices and tomato rice)! 7€ for a maximum of 15 potato chips and about 10grams of grated feta effortlessly slapped on. A portion of fries with a maximum of 20 individual fries for €5.90, which arrived cold and inedible. With the best will in the world, I can't understand the good reviews. We will never order there again and certainly not eat there! Absolute disgrace and no recommendation. If it were possible 0 stars.

Were here for the first time today. Everything is great. Had a delicious starter and then almost didn't finish the main course. Everything was plentiful and we would be happy to come back when we are back in Hanover.

Discussion about a gyro plate, the service didn't understand you, you had to ask for sauces and in the end you got the wrong food with further discussion. There was no demand for drinks. The food tasted good but the portion was very small and I didn't feel full despite the starter 🙄🤨

Staff friendly but don't really understand German. If you're lucky, you'll get what you ordered. I ordered recommendation 2 with hot peppers and received normal gratinated gyros with chili flakes. Service disaster, we were there with 15 people and we weren't even asked if anyone wanted something to drink. Even the empty plates from the starters and the glasses were not all cleared away. Parking is virtually non-existent. Only on the main street Unfortunately I would not recommend the restaurant.

The food was very tasty, but as the main course you get a children's portion. You wait a long time for food and drinks and are sometimes even forgotten. Problems of understanding and a lot of discussion, you won't find typical Greek dishes here. Larger groups are not suitable for the establishment.

So as far as the parking situation is concerned, it was difficult to find something on a Saturday evening. We were a group of 15 people from Rinteln, Hameln, Herrhausen and Vlotho and went a long way to test the restaurant with the good reviews. We were warmly welcomed and served with drinks. Unfortunately we had to wait a while until our order for dishes was taken. After waiting for over an hour, at least the starters arrived, which were very tasty. So we were looking forward to the main course, but unfortunately it took another hour until it was served. The empty appetizer plates and glasses were only partially cleared and ordering something to drink took forever, as did getting it. The potato slices were unseasoned and unfortunately my husband's food was only lukewarm. And other orders were not served as requested. When it came to payment we had to do it at the front of the counter. The only sad thing was that the service staff was struggling with the cash register system and needed a good 10 minutes to print out an invoice and then it didn't even fit. I don't know if they were understaffed today and therefore stressed and only listening with one ear, but I've never experienced anything like today anywhere.

We went to this Greek restaurant for the first time today. I was really excited. I really have to say the service was extremely nice and attentive. We were served immediately and nothing was missing. The food was delicious. There were four of us here and every meal was great and 100% to our liking. Price performance was very good. We really liked it. The ambience was nice.

We visited the Greek restaurant “Aristotle” today and can only say: Wow! From the moment we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted and immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with traditional Greek decoration giving an authentic feel. The food was simply fantastic! For the main course we had bifteki, a gyro in metaxa sauce and tagliatelle with gyros in metaxa sauce - which was incredibly tasty and filling. The portions are generous, so you'll definitely be full! The service was also first class. The service staff were attentive and friendly, and we always felt well looked after. We highly recommend Aristotle if you're in the mood for authentic Greek cuisine.🥙🍷

Probably an authentic Greek restaurant, but the culinary style remains in the 1990s, with a lot of gastronomic cuisine and a feeling for the top. There really is a lot more possible!

Last night our table tennis division held its annual Christmas party with (only! 😢) 12 people. - for the first time with THIS Greek! Some of us have been here sporadically and were satisfied. This time we were excited to see how things would go if we showed up with so many people at the same time. - and we were not disappointed. Although the restaurant was already quite full at 6 p.m., we had absolutely "acceptable waiting times." - be it when placing the first order, with "re-orders" or when waiting for the various "courses." (-you can hardly believe it!!!) The prices and portions for the dishes are within a range so that even guests with smaller budgets don't have to go home poor or hungry. In addition, everyone tastes it, and everything is “very good to good.” ...which by the way happened for the first time in our Christmas party history!!! - just like: not one "position" was left after everyone had paid at the checkout. ... no false bookings followed by ruminations. Visually, the shop is absolutely not an eye-catcher, but the food there at night makes up for it. The service is okay, but the coffee and/or cappuccino is not convincing for a fully automatic coffee machine... so who goes to a Greek restaurant and drinks coffee when there is ouzo 🤣

To be honest, I'm glad I went over there briefly in the evening. A real Greek with very tasty food. The restaurant invites you to linger.

The food here is super delicious! I have rarely eaten such a delicious tzatziki *_* The service was very attentive and the prices are also completely okay. Only the table decorations seem a bit “cheap” and don’t quite fit in with the rest.

Food was really very tasty. Had the Maria plate. The suflaki was ideally prepared. Gyros was nice and lean, as it should be. Only the service could have asked more often if we wanted anything else. But always been very friendly.

My husband and I were treated to culinary delights in this cozy restaurant like we hadn't been in a long time. My husband enjoyed the liver with delicious sauce and I enjoyed the medallions in Metaxa sauce which was incredibly delicious. We ate the Cretan potatoes together. Hummm, eating can be a joy. We still rave about this great evening every day. Thank you very much for that, we would love to come back.

If you are looking for Greek, down-to-earth, warm and authentic, you will find it right here. Great store, big and remote enough to enter without a reservation. Starter and main course perfect, gyros crispy, two kinds of onions, tom rice and potato slices perfect, side salad good and colorful. My secret (it's just G00gle) tip: check out the wines, there are a few good, autochthonous positions outside the usual Tsantali & Co world, my half liter of Retsina was almost "elegant", although I usually only know it as resinous and brutal (and love). Service class, extremely polite, yet unobtrusive, crowd pleasantly mixed, ..., all in all a real down-to-earth restaurant pearl. Keep it up!

Food is great and tasty. The portions are also very large for hungry diners. What's best about this place is the service. Its one of the most friendly restaurants within Hannover and we will definitely be coming back whenever we're visiting.

Stayed in Hanover for one night and had dinner in this restaurant. We had sheep's cheese with potatoes and the gyros in Mexata sauce with cheese gratin. The food was really delicious and more than filling. The service was always friendly and attentive, and there was also an obligatory home-made ouzo. The prices are absolutely fair and the atmosphere is really great. Absolute recommendation!

I was there for the first time with colleagues. The food was good and sufficient, the waiting time was reasonable. The atmosphere is very nice. Thoroughly recommended in Vahrenwald.

For us the best Greek in a long time. Not a one-size-fits-all spice, but tasty and strong. The gyros are juicy and crispy, the tzatziki has a lot of oomph (knobi is the other people's problem the next day), the souwlaki is even marinated, as the always nice and friendly service explained to us. If you're sensitive to noise, you don't necessarily have to sit outside. We go there regularly.

I ordered the ouzo platter through Wolt: The meat was really tasty and well seasoned, the gyros wasn't quite my cup of tea but it was okay. What I found to be a shame was that when I ordered it said that it included an ouzo, but unfortunately I didn't receive it. Otherwise the delivery was quick and the food arrived warm

There were ten of us on Saturday evening. Hardly anything going on. Starters and main course were very good. Ouzo was a round on the house. All in all, a solid location.

I was there yesterday with my girlfriend, we originally come from Lübeck and were here for a concert and were looking for something that was close to the hotel. The ambience is sweetly decorated and the staff warmly welcomes you. The menu offers choices for everyone. And also do something unusual. Instead of fries, there are fried potato slices, which are very tasty and you won't miss any fries anymore. The seasoning of the meat is very balanced. I had an ouzo plate. Tzatziki, which you have to order separately, also tastes really great. In the end we got along very well with the staff and talked about Greek specialties. And you could feel the hospitality of Greece. If we are in Hanover again we will come back.

Unfortunately I have to give a negative review. I had dinner there with a friend this evening and was unfortunately quite disappointed. The first drink I ordered was an apple spritzer but was given a passion fruit spritzer. Well, the second drink was fine and the apple spritzer we ordered was actually served. For the meal I ordered number 63 (a new chicken skewer dish with potato slices. I asked if there was hot sauce with this dish and they said yes. When we received our food, there was hot sauce on the plate, but no potato slices. I complained about this to the waiter, but he said that he understood my order to mean that I wanted hot sauce instead of potato slices. I corrected him and said that I had just formulated this as a question and that I would of course like to have the potato slices described on the card with me. When I was billed, I was charged an ouzo plate for €16.50, even though the dish I ordered cost €15. Unfortunately, I only noticed this afterwards. I've been to the restaurant several times in the past and nothing like this happened and the food tasted better back then. A pity.

A varied, balanced menu, the dishes are without exception very tasty. The service was great, the atmosphere was perfect. We were just visiting Hanover for the weekend and went to this restaurant on the initiative of a relative. We couldn't have made a better choice. Greek cuisine the way we love it. Lovely Greek restaurant run by a polite owner who often stopped at our table for a chat about his life experiences in Greece. The reason I am giving him 4 stars is despite the quality of meat ( souvlaki) he used and the olives on his mixed starter platter were actually worth a 5 star rating, the food took a bit longer than usual to arrive at the table and he also forgot a drink I ordered. Would love to go again !

I went to this restaurant spontaneously. The welcome was very warm and I got a table straight away. The food came after a short wait. The portion was very tasty and filling. The service took care and was approachable at all times. All in all, I would come back there at any time. Price/performance is right here and when you find out that Mom's recipes come from Greece, you just feel welcome and comfortable.

Das Essen war gut. Die Wartezeit auf das Essen , 1Std., war schon Grenzwertig.

Wir waren mit 17 Pers. dort und haben gem. Karte bestellt. Das Essen kam in einer akzeptablen Zeit und wir konnten gemeinsam essen. Die Portionen waren hinreichend. Die Qualität des Essens so, wie man es erwartet, wenn man Osteuropäisch essen geht. Stark gewürzt, in diesem Fall war das Bifteki in Rauchöl ertränkt, und alles sehr knoblauch- und einheitsgewürzlastig. Das Personal war sehr bemüht, freundlich, und angenehm zurückhaltend. Alles in allem war es keine Enttäuschung, weil die Erwartung nicht hoch war. Wenn man keine hohen Ansprüche an das Essen stellt, dann ist das Aristoteles ein Ort an dem man etwas essen und ein Bier trinken kann. Gestört hat mich nur der Geruch der Kleidung nach altem abgestandenem Frittenfett am nächsten Tag.

Das Aristoteles ist unser Lieblings- Grieche. Mit dem neuen Besitzer sind wir noch zufriedener als zuvor. Es gibt wieder Pommes statt ausschließlich Kartoffelscheiben. Auch herrscht hier jetzt eine freundlichere Atmosphäre. Der Chef gab ein paar Ouzo aus und schenkte uns zum Schluss noch je eine Flasche Retsina 😊 Danke nochmal für alles 😘
