Restaurant Amadeus in Schwerin

We were hotel guests and didn't want to walk into town for dinner that evening. Reservations weren't necessary; there were plenty of free tables. The menu is quite concise, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, the prices were quite high. My husband and I opted for pasta. My spaghetti portion was very small and very spicy. After 2.3 minutes, my plate was already empty. I couldn't say we were even halfway full. My husband's penne portion was a bit larger and tasted good. As we left, we realized that all the other guests had received a welcome from the kitchen...but we hadn't... okay. No, that's not possible...

It's located right in the hotel! But unfortunately, there's very little staff on site! This means the service suffers greatly! The waitresses try very hard, though! With the crowds, it's impossible to manage! The food was okay, but not worthy of a four-star rating!

The food was good but significantly overpriced. However, the service was completely overwhelmed with six tables occupied. There's definitely room for improvement here, especially when guests leave the restaurant because they have to wait an hour for their drinks.

Because of the weather and because we were simply hungry, we didn't want to go out and look for a restaurant. So we just went down to the hotel restaurant. Well, if only we had gone out. The selection was okay; the four of us all found something quickly. The prices are very high, but well, I guess that's to be expected in a four-star hotel. When the Camembert arrived for €15, I had to laugh out loud. My pork fillet looked better, but €24 for three pieces of meat... At least it tasted good. The pizza for €18 was large, but definitely frozen, thick, and had been in the oven a bit too long, making it difficult to cut. The taste was rather mediocre. 4 1/2 roast chicken strips with crinkle-cut fries for just under €13, but the two-year-old liked it. A large Fanta is a euro cheaper than a large Coke. Well, all in all, we wouldn't recommend the restaurant for dinner. Next time, we'd rather order a pizza delivery, which we observed while we waited. Or just go outside and eat at one of the nearby restaurants.

It was quite late, but we still managed to get food. However, the kitchen seemed to have lost interest, or perhaps the service and kitchen staff weren't communicating. Not all of our food requests were fulfilled. The food itself, though, tasted good.

The staff is friendly, even though I waited almost an hour for the food. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite as warm as it used to be. The ambiance isn't particularly exciting—with a view of the train and cars, it's rather unimpressive.

Great room. Average breakfast. They serve pre-baked rolls, but it doesn't meet the standards of a 4-star hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We had a very good meal. The menu may be small, but the dishes were delicious and unusual. We'd be happy to come back.

An ordinary shopping center, I liked it better before the reconstruction.

Essen ist akzeptabel- Bedienung freundlich aber nicht die schnellsten ! Aber OK - draußen auf der Terrasse kann ma ganz gut sitzen obwohl der Blick auf Kreuzung und Bahndamm - kein Erlebnis ist
