Ein tolles Ambiente, humorvolle und aufmerksame Bedienung und natürlich leckere Speisen.

05.06.26 Hatten uns sehr auf unsere Essen dort gefreut, leider wirkte die männliche Bedienung sehr lustlos. Die Bandnudeln überbacken mit Käse/Sahne/Brokkoli schwammen in Milch und haben nach nichts geschmeckt. Wir wurden gefragt, ob es uns gescheckt hat, wir verneinten es aber. Darauf kam leider null Reaktion! Sehr schade und deshalb für uns ein unprofessioneller Service. Das andere Essen Hühnerbrust Curry-Hawaii war ok. Empfehlen würden wir das Restaurant aber nicht.

Top !!! - Geschmack = Erlebnis für die Sinne - Personal = sehr freundlich, auch gegenüber Kinder. - Qualitativ hochwertige Produkte, was man bei jeden Biss schmeckt. - Tolles Ambiente - Auswahl der Speisen großzügig, hier findet jeder etwas. Wir sehen uns auf jeden Fall wieder !!!

Super leckeres Essen. Meine Freundin war so begeistert von der Ofen-Kartoffel. Ich hatte Bruschetta. Brot schön knusprig und Menge sehr viel. Und freundliches Personal.

Steak war teilweise noch roh, geschmacklich aber lecker. Der Service war ungewohnt. Permanent war jemand anderes am Tisch, keine Bezugsperson, doppelt oder gar nicht war die Devise bei den Getränken .0,3 Bier bestellt, 0,3 UND 0,4 bekommen.0,4 bestellt, 0,3 bekommen. Essen kam sogar vor den Getränken...... Preise sind okay. Luft nach oben.

Ich habe absolut nichts an dem Restaurant auszusetzen, ganz im Gegenteil, ich war zum zweiten Mal dort (das erste Mal war vor 7 Jahren), angenehme Sitzgelegenheiten, toller Service, perfektes Essen.

Nachtrag 2026 Wir gehen schon sehr viele Jahre hier zum Essen. Das Essen ist reichlich und schmeckt sehr gut. Schnitzel oder Steak, alles sehr schmackhaft. Die Pizza ist viel zu groß, da sollte man 2 Größen anbieten. Freundliche Bedingung und keine langen Wartezeiten. Das Lokal ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Großer Wintergarten, das ist uns aber im Sommer zu warm in dem Raum. Behindertengerecht und ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden

Wir hatten unserem letzten Urlaubstag und zum Abschluss hatten wir einen Tisch für 7 Personen reserviert. Das Essen war sehr, sehr gut. Der Service hat noch 2 Sterne 🌟 mehr verdient. Wir waren von Anfang bis Ende super zufrieden. Sehr, sehr, sehr zu empfehlen.

Meine Empfehlung, Matjes und Sauerfleisch!!! Die Bratkartoffel dazu Spitzenklasse. Der Matjes , laut einer Expertin (meine Mama 95) , das Beste was man im Umkreis bekommen kann. Mein Sauerfleisch exzellent 3 große Stücke reines Fleisch. Die Bedienung äußerst zuvorkommend und kompetent mit einer herzlichen Freundlichkeit die nicht aufgesetzt wirkt.

Leckeres Frühstück mit 11 Personen, alles da, Bedienung aufmerksam und freundlich, Preise o.k.

Wir waren abends mit einer Gesellschaft dort und hatten alle unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt, hier war jeder begeistert vom Servivce und vom Essen. Die Speisen waren alle sehr heiß auf dem Teller, das viel Allen positiv auf. Parkmöglichkeiten sind vor Ort und in der näheren Umgebung. Das Restaurant ist schön gelegen und einladend eingerichtet.

Im Rahmen eines Krimidinners war mein Besuch. Vorspeise Bruchetta war lecker, bis auf das die Tomatenwürfel sehr kalt waren Hauptgericht Rahmgeschnetzeltes mit Reis. Das Hauptgericht war überhaupt nicht mein Geschmack. War eher zerbombtes Fleisch, für mich war das auch auch keine Rahmsosse Der Reis war ok. Nachtisch Tiramisu Kenne ich etwas anders. In der Mitte war eine dünne Vanillecreme. Naach diesem Essen wurden einige Teilnehmer enttäuscht 😞 , nach Gesprächen an meinem Tisch Die Akteure des Krimidinners waren toll

Viel Platz - für große Feiern geeignet! Aber auch allein oder zu zweit bekommt man viel Aufmerksamkeit von der Bedienung. Richtig gutes Essen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Parkplätze reichlich vorhanden. Alles bestens!

Mein Freund und ich hatten am 06.01.26 um 19uhr eine Reservierung. wir haben beide ein Getränk bestellt, er hatte eine Hawaii Pizza und ich hatte das Puttensteak. Zum Nachttisch haben wir uns noch ein Bananensplit bestellt. Service war sehr nett aber uns wurden dinge aufgelistet die wir garnicht bestellt haben? Ich habe das leider erst zuhause gesehen somit hat mein Freund 1x Espresso 1x Cappuccino 1x Underberg und 1x Maisels dunkel bezahlt die wir nicht einmal hatten? Mein Partner hat fast 20€ extra bezahlt wobei er eigentlich nur 1-2€ bezahlen musste da wir ein 50€ gutschein hatten. Missverständnisse können ja mal passieren aber fast 20€ ist schon sehr unverschämt.

Schönes Restaurant, gutes Essen und Preise auch moderat. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Eine Reservierung bei mehreren Personen ist empfehlenswert.

Ziemlich laut Das Fleisch war beim ersten Servieren nicht gut gebraten. Nach Hinweis wurde es jedoch umgehend erneuert. Der Service reagierte schnell und freundlich.

The duck leg was a masterpiece of culinary craftsmanship: perfectly crispy skin, succulent meat, and an aromatic sauce that perfectly complemented the dish. The accompanying potatoes were cooked to perfection, and the red cabbage was harmoniously seasoned.

The food at the restaurant by the water tower was, on the whole, very tasty. The appetizers were very generous portions and would almost be enough for a main course for some. The main courses all arrived at the same time and were piping hot. However, we felt we had to wait quite a while for our food, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Now for the negative: the service there was unfortunately very, very poor. They took our food and drink orders once, and after that, apart from bringing the food, no one came to our table again. I ordered another drink, which I never received, and the three waitresses sat in a corner at a table playing on their phones. ALL THREE!!!! No one served us for more than 30 minutes… In the end, we had to go to them to pay… so the food was good, but the service was absolutely terrible. We didn't leave a tip and will definitely not be coming back. We ate there on October 31, 2025, around 2:00 PM.

Outstanding in every way! Heavenly fish options and generous portions laden with delicious veggies. A must if in the area. English menu and waitron available. I had the Perch and waddled back to my hotel - absolutely delighted and satiated.

I discovered the restaurant by chance last week and spontaneously became a regular. I haven't eaten this well in a long time. The food and drinks were excellent quality and presentation, the staff were super friendly and professional, the atmosphere was cozy, the menu was very varied, especially the fish, and the value for money was absolutely excellent. I'm absolutely thrilled and look forward to my next visit.

My husband and I love eating here. We're always treated very kindly and politely, the food is always delicious, and the seating is simply great! Completely satisfied. If someone is having a party there, it often gets very loud, but that's not the restaurant's fault; just be aware that if you're sensitive to noise, the staff will do everything they can to make you feel comfortable; they'll even lower the blinds a bit if the staff is walking through the restaurant and notices someone has the sun shining on their face. Simply fantastic!

Today we ate at the Wasserturm for the first time in a long time. The food was fantastic, and the recommended wine was perfect. Our server that evening, a gray-haired man with glasses, was very polite, witty, and very competent. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

We arrived with 10 people around lunchtime. With a wedding party in the conservatory, we were initially the only customers, so ordering went quite quickly. It was very warm inside and smelled of food. There was a small specials menu. Fried potatoes were also served with the dishes upon request, although overall, they were somewhat unspectacular. The stir-fried vegetables and potato wedges seemed to be convenience items. The salmon fillet in both the fish dishes and the pasta dishes was the best, but otherwise, everything was served in breadcrumbs. The restrooms were very hygienic. All in all, the service, taste, portion size, and price were all reasonable.

We were very satisfied. The only thing that bothered me was that the cocktails come with paper straws. Unfortunately, they alter the flavor. I would like to see stainless steel straws available. But otherwise, everything was really satisfactory.

The beer garden is quite pleasant to sit in, but that's about it for the positive reviews. The grilled platter was small, far from the advertised 400g of meat. The lamb was quite good, the turkey was okay... The beef steak was impossible to cut, let alone chew. When I complained, I was asked if I wanted a new one? Yes, what else??? The replacement steak arrived when the rest was already cold, or rather, empty, and was only half the size of the first one. And still not the medium-rare steak you'd want. The worst part was the service: We were left sitting for 30 minutes without being cleared away, and a second drink was out of the question. In total, we were completely ignored for over an hour. Very annoying, considering the three of us spent over €90 there, but that won't happen to us there again.

We spontaneously stopped in for dinner based on the reviews. The waiters were all super friendly, and the food was very good and plentiful (a potato with shrimp and a water tower grill with fried potatoes). We were able to sit outside in the beautiful weather, but also had a view of the conservatory and the indoor restaurant. Everything was very clean and beautifully decorated. We'd love to come back as soon as we're in the area.

We ate two very delicious fish dishes here today (plaice, zander, and redfish fillets) with side dishes, which we highly recommend, and we'll be happy to come back...

The Halloween Light Show in Todesfelde was amazing! We had a variety of dishes, and the Wassertum grilled meat platter was first-class! The pasta dishes were also delicious. Definitely worth the price!

Good restaurants for large and small groups

It's okay for breakfast, but I wouldn't recommend it for eating out. I ordered venison goulash with gravy and potatoes, but it was more like a venison goulash soup. The atmosphere was good. Price/performance ratio was so-so. The staff could be friendlier. Addendum: On my second visit, the staff were friendly and the food was super delicious, but it was still a lot of money for small portions, in my opinion.

I was looking forward to a simple spaghetti carbonara. The spaghetti was overcooked, and the sauce resembled hollandaise more than carbonara. Even worse was the service: we sat there for at least 30 minutes with our plates completely eaten. A second drink was out of the question. The waitress walked past our table several times, making eye contact, but we continued to be ignored. Only when we asked for the manager did the waitress get excited and finally clear the table. There were three of us there. This experience cost 90 euros, after all. It wasn't my first visit, but it will definitely be my last!

Bad service, meat to give up, small portions. We sat with empty plates for easily half an hour. Another quarter of an hour until we could finally pay. Unfortunately no recommendation.

We come regularly, about once a month, and look forward to one of the delicious fish dishes beforehand. We have never been disappointed - every visit was a reason to come back. I also particularly notice the friendliness of the employees and the effort to ensure guest satisfaction. I can recommend a visit.

We had reserved a table for 7 people in the winter garden to celebrate the birthday of a family member. The birthday guest is a wheelchair user with a large electric wheelchair. Unfortunately, he could not go into the winter garden because the way for him was blocked by a large group of people. He had previously appeared in the restaurant twice and every waiter could see what kind of wheelchair it was. What can I say, unfortunately inclusion was not practiced that day. We left the restaurant with seven people very disappointed. For us it was definitely the last visit to the water tower. Actually, one star is still too much for that.

We've been here many times. But especially on an important birthday, you expect much better, more attentive service. There was hardly any demand, so some guests ordered their own drinks at the bar and even took them with them. The food, actually the better plates on the menu, No. 105/106, I think, were a joke in terms of the amount of meat, carelessly prepared, and the pieces were super dry and tough. Fried potatoes were soggy and greasy, even the salad wasn't convincing, even though it was still the highlight. Unfortunately, everyone in the group who had these plates didn't want to complain about the above-mentioned occasion. But since the question was asked whether the food was tasty and the answer: the fries came "yes", that should be enough to think about. Sorry... We're done with the water tower for now.

Unfortunately our order was a disappointment. We ordered takeout and paid a high price for it, but when we got home we realized there were a few things wrong. Instead of the mushroom and tuna pizza we ordered, we received one with olives, capers, mushrooms and tuna - a completely different combination. Additionally, my side salad had no dressing. I called the restaurant directly, the problem was acknowledged and they apologized - that was it. No solution, no accommodation. Since the restaurant isn't exactly around the corner from us, going back wasn't an option. Mistakes can happen, but how you deal with them makes the difference. Unfortunately, we didn't really feel valued here as customers. It's a shame because we were looking forward to the food.

The salad was ok, but very ordinary - service was nice. The ambience reminded me of a dining area in a Bulgarian airport - the winter garden is the first choice. Oh, the water tower is nice - then you're outside again 😉

The main course at yesterday's crime dinner was really a laughing stock! The bread only came when the meat was already cold.

Not recommended for vegetarians or vegans, little choice, three dishes, one of which is vegan, unimaginative. The falafel - called vegetable meatballs - were bone dry, which was convenience. Not edible without the (unmatched) BBQ sauce. Simple salad with a few tomato pieces and cucumber slices with oil and vinegar vinaigrette, also unimaginative. The homemade bread is soft pieces of white flour bread. Overall, the menu doesn't offer any exceptional dishes or preparations for a restaurant that I remembered as upscale. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is cozy. It gets very loud very quickly in the winter garden.

We had a family dinner just before Christmas. The ambience and service were great, and most of the food was also tasty. Unfortunately, my rump steak was quite firm (marbled), so I could hardly cut it, let alone chew it. I would no longer order rump steak there but would choose other dishes. The other family members remained happy with their choice that evening.

Delicious food in any case, but also at higher prices. Lots of fish. The thirst quencher is beautifully decorated and delicious! The ambience is appropriate for the prices, although I can't recommend window seats at the back. It's blowing through the windows while the heating under the table is turned up to full blast. Conclusion, definitely worth a visit, but don't forget your thicker wallet.

Das Restaurant liegt sehr zentral und hat einen eigenen kleinen Parkplatz. Die Speisekarte ist großzügig, die Bedienungen sind freundlich, die Speisen haben eine sehr gute Qualität. Die Karte wird immer zusätzlich um einen günstige Wochenkarte mit wechselnden Gerichten erweitert.

Considering we're in Heide, the fried potatoes are really sad. Normally people in Dithmarschen know how to make decent fried potatoes 😒All in all, so-so. They used to be much better.

Very nice courteous staff. Our dishes were very tasty and very plentiful.

Had breakfast there on a Saturday morning. The waiter was apparently a bit overwhelmed but we were given a table that wasn't set up. After a short while we should move to a table that was already set. Without asking what we actually wanted to eat or order, a waitress came to our table with several plates and wanted to serve. We were then able to express our wishes first. Unfortunately, the breakfast wasn't to our liking. The ambience is great, service is nice but haphazard. Price ok.

The food was good and arrived very quickly but it was nothing special as it was probably warmed up. (Cabbage rolls) Unfortunately the service was very disrespectful. And there really wasn't much going on and it was almost empty. People literally begged for tips. It's a shame, actually I enjoyed eating there but for me it's not worth going there again. Otherwise the facility was great.

Nice, attentive service, friendly atmosphere with two dining rooms, a bright winter garden and a summer terrace on a rather quiet side street, good portions of delicious food at reasonable prices, which may be problematic for those with dietary restrictions.

4.5 stars? For what? Chicken masala tasted absolutely nothing like curry, too much turmeric was added. Way too much sauce and not enough rice. The chicken was cooked, had little to no spices, you had to eat it with the sauce, otherwise it just didn't taste good at all, even if the sauce generally lacked spices, you could have saved it a bit with the meat. The meat/sauce smelled pretty unpleasant to me, you could have taken the skin off the chicken, you couldn't have eaten it anyway because it only tasted slippery and raw, so Indian food is a long way away. We also had a chilli cheese cheeseburger that had fries with it, neither ketchup nor anything else was served with the fries, the fries tasted strange, some were good, but mostly just sticky, and a strange taste, too little salt. So 4.5 definitely not, maybe for the atmosphere although it is also close to the street and it is constantly loud. No joke, I don't like people who complain, but here for the price? The price is extremely expensive, and what about a meal like that? No.
