A wide selection of dishes and all prepared with fresh ingredients. I really enjoy going there, also because the staff is very friendly and helpful. In this respect, a clear recommendation. So far I haven't discovered anything better in Heide.

Mein Burger war absolut lecker und die Möglichkeit ihn mit einer scharfer Sauce aufzupeppen, super. Die Pommes waren ebenfalls spitze. Dazu eine Hauslimo und es war ein perfekter Tagesausklang. Bedienung superfreundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bin froh eine Tasse getarntes Wasser als Cappuccino bekommen zu haben. Wollte noch etwas essen aber es gibt dort keine Speisekarte. Ich würde die Schicht Besetzung Komplett entlassen

Today I was very surprised at the price of a piece of cake, €5. I think that's overpriced since they weren't any special cakes. The waitress, who we didn't know at all, looked very annoyed and unfriendly. Why? There wasn't even much going on at that time.

A great restaurant in itself, but often very loud and hectic. The waitresses have always been friendly. The food is delicious but you end up in very high price categories... I don't really see that with many dishes. Everything is quite expensive, including breakfast. Other restaurants with the same quality can do this a little cheaper. As far as I'm concerned, meat can be expensive, but €5 for a few fries and €6.90 for a handful of sweet potato fries? That's a bit steep.

I come from the Uckermark, so when I'm on the North Sea, I always have to "visit" the town of Heide. We always stop by the market pirates there. Everything is perfect here, friendly, cool staff and of course delicious food. If you can't find anything here... well then I don't know. Stay at your level, we definitely recommend you across our state Brandenburg border. 🙂

I can only recommend Currywurst 5 stars. Burger was a complete disappointment (Queen)). I complained about it during operation. Otherwise the service was nice and friendly.

A good restaurant with a great location, but there is still a bit of room for improvement in terms of taste (in my choice). The selection of food was good, something for everyone. The prices are a bit more expensive, but the burger is a (very) decent size. In terms of taste, the burger (Vegan Orient Express) could have used a little more oomph. It lacked spice. The fries, which you have to order separately (no menu), were very good. Drinks and service were also good.

I'm going to go out on a limb here: the vegan meals here are absolutely world class... given the prices, they're a must-eat for everyone (regardless of your eating habits).

Restaurant Marktpirat. I've been to Heide several times, but never in this restaurant, right on the large market square. Parking is great here because there are great parking options even at the large market. Had good food and a great beer. Service was friendly and quick. You take credit cards and also EC. Very clean toilets in the basement. As everywhere else, the price level has risen significantly. But since the quality was great, okay.

Marktpirat is the location in Heide where everything just fits, the ambience and service are great, very friendly staff and an absolutely beautiful modern atmosphere, plus the inexpensive and high-quality food is an absolute culinary delight, all around a shop where you definitely have to go! 10/10

Just drank coffee...and it was very good...

There was a lot going on that day, but the team was still super nice, relaxed and accommodating. Had breakfast there with everything PiPaPo and would love to come back!

We had recommended coffee specialties and each a rum ball that was simply indescribably good. The ambience corresponds to the busy market square. Unfortunately, the service was the total opposite of the quality of the food on offer. At the reception, the service staff tried to be charming and funny, which doesn't go down well with every guest, especially if the pun goes towards uninvited guests. - That's how we felt too. It took 10 minutes to be asked what we wanted and 15 minutes to be able to pay. The lady at the checkout in the restaurant felt like she was not responsible and overworked and the humorous service person outside robbed us of another 5 minutes of life. For me, good food and drinks don't outweigh the experience 😞

Overpriced for small and fatty portions...

We went there for dinner twice during our vacation. The service is great! All employees are friendly and the good mood in the team is noticeable. Despite the restaurant being full, no waiting time. The food was really delicious. And after we wanted to eat our dessert in our holiday accommodation on the second evening, they quickly packed the chocolate cream cherry tart for us to take away. And last but not least, the jacket I had forgotten there was sent home when I asked! Dear market pirate team: Thank you for that!!! We'd love to come back!!!

You have to praise the service. The food is nice, but I can't think of anything else. Tip to the chefs, less is more! The menu is pretty confusing. The ambience is a matter of taste, like many other things, but a side tip: I eat in a restaurant and not in a discotheque.

Whenever we are in Heide, we eat at Marktpiranten at least once. Everything is freshly and lovingly prepared. Highly recommended: The chocolate mishap for dessert! 🤩 Cake lovers will also get their money's worth! Bon appetit!

When we drive north we always stop there for breakfast

We had reserved a table for the evening. When we arrived it wasn't available, so we were seated at another table (no problem). After 2 hours, when we had just ordered dessert, we were informed in a somewhat unfriendly manner that the table had already been reserved and that we would now have to vacate the place. We were not asked how long our reservation would last in advance or when we arrived at the restaurant, nor were we informed that the newly assigned seat had already been reserved again after such a short time. We were then seated right next to the door at the bar, which was then promptly opened wide to let in some “fresh” air. However, the food was great!

Quite a turbulent and rather noisy place, always well attended and with very good cakes/tarts, also for to-go. The warm dishes are also quite okay.

Now all that's missing is the Flat White, which is now available in every cafe in the big city. ;-) The staff is super friendly & the kitchen is great too! There's a nice atmosphere! The quality itself is good and the furnishings are nice. But unfortunately the prices are now too high. You have to remember that you are sitting here in Heide on the market square and not in Hamburg on the Inner Alster. Inflation or VAT or not. A pity.

The lactose-free milk with coffee is charged extra at 1.50 euros. The Marktpirat is otherwise a really pleasant place to stay. Charging such a price is completely disproportionate and angered me.

The atmosphere is very nice, unfortunately a bit old. In the evening you have to be careful with the cake, sliced ​​cake can sometimes be dry. Be careful with pasta dishes, you don't expect such a mush (pasta, vegetables soft-boiled), especially not with the prices (15.00 €). Maybe a new chef will help. Otherwise the service is very good. Trendy Lokal. Nett eingerichtet. Gute Lage. Das Essen ist fast food lastig.. aber überwiegend sehr schmackhaft. Die meisten Servicekräfte waren ausgesprochen freundlich. Vielleicht sollte man sich aber nicht auf den guten Rezensionen ausruhen: die bestellte Tomatensuppe war ziemlich kalt und auch nach dem 2. Versuch noch weit weg von einer heißen Suppe..sei s drum..die kartoffelsticks sahen bisschen so aus als ob sie zu lang in der Friteuse verweilt hätten..aber wie war das?..Fett soll ja ein Geschmacksträger sein. Wahrscheinlich machen wir jetzt erstmal ein Marktpirat Päuschen. Das wird bestimmt wieder besser. Heute wieder mal eingekehrt. Es ist richtig schön innen. Das Essen war ok, beim Salat fehlte Soße, der war schon sehr trocken, ausserdem hatte der geriebene Käse so einen unangenehmen Nachgeschmack, dass ich nicht mehr weiteressen konnte,- die dicken Fritten waren lecker..aber da kann man ja wenig falschmachen. Für uns steht fest, dass wir das letzte Mal dort eingekehrt sind: Zu teuer für die "Qualität". Schade eigentlich.

Sehr netter Service, allerdings stimmt hier das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht. 5.50€ Extra für ein veganes, nicht leckeres Patty auf dem Burger = 13 + 5.5€ = 18.5€ ?? Dazu noch Pommes und Getränk ist man bei über 30€. War früher deutlich besser.

mega nettes Personal.Die sind echt "locker drauf " Super lecker das Frühstück!! Kaffee, Tee satt. nicht ganz günstig, aber dafür wirklich gut und alles frisch. sehr zu empfehlen!!

Top Ambiente und Service. Inneneinrichtung ist sehr schick und modern . Der Service ist sehr nett und gut organisiert. Wir waren gestern zum erstenmal da . Und waren sehr begeistert , und kommen gerne wieder . Einziger Kritikpunkt ist der Spüllkasten in der Damentoilette der muss dringend repariert werden. Sonst verletzt sich da noch jemand . Ansonsten war alles super .

Angeblich Dry Age Fleisch, es war ein normales Beefsteak. Medium nicht getroffen Pommes nur noch Klein und klöderkram Beim Salat vergeblich nach Dressing gesucht. Tische werden 1 1/2 Stunden vorher Reserviert vom Personal. Erstmal kein Besuch mehr bis sich das gebessert hat.

Wirklich sehr gutes Essen und netter Service. Natürlich etwas teurer als der Durchschnitt, aber dafür ist alles gut abgeschmeckt und muss nicht nachgewürzt werden! Hat man leider selten! Mein Tipp: Tomatensuppe mit Croutons die in Butter gebraten wurden, absolut lecker, die 8,- Euro sind in diesem Fall angemessen!

Es scheint, dass die Servicequalität und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, die einst mit 5 Sternen bewertet wurden, durch die Corona-Pause beeinträchtigt wurden. Der aktuelle Service ist nicht mehr so freundlich und effizient wie zuvor, trotz weniger Gäste. Die Wartezeit auf Getränke war unangemessen lang, und die Qualität von Speisen wie Burgern, Pulled Pork Pfanne und Nuggets hat nachgelassen. Burger enthalten nun mehr Salat, während die Nuggets-Portion deutlich kleiner ist. Insgesamt enttäuschend, daher entscheiden wir uns, nicht mehr dort zu essen, da das Geld besser investiert werden kann. Hoffentlich verbessert sich die Situation in Zukunft.

Ich bin wärend meiner Besuche in Heide häufiger hier. Der Kaffee ist sehr gut, die Torten sind ein Gedicht. Abzüge für die Mitarbeiter; man lästert übereinander vor den Gästen, was stellenweise sehr unangenehm ist weil erwartet wird, dass man diese Meinung teilt. Außerdem sind die MA zumindest teilweise nach ihrem Dafürhalten sehr humorig, haben aber leider kein Gespür dafür, wann dies angebracht ist und wann nicht. Abschließend: Kaffee und Kuchen wie erwähnt sehr zu empfehlen, aber Finger weg vom Frühstück. Der "Deichläufer" schlägt mit saftigen 14 € zu Buche; dafür bekommt man 2 winzige Brötchen und selbst für diese zu wenig "Belag". Aufschnitt und Käse nachordern ist notwendig und natürlich aufpreispflichtig. Das eigentlich selbstverständliche Frühstücksei wird ebenfalls extra berechnet. Wer dann noch einen Kaffee möchte, landet für ein weit unterdurchschnittliches Frühstück schnell über 20 €.

Leider lange Wartezeit bis man bedient wurde, obwohl genügend Servicemitarbeiter da waren. Essen war aber lecker und wir haben dort einige Zeit sehr gemütlich gesessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
