Volle Punktzahl in allen Bereichen. Der gastronomische Betrieb steht dem kulturellen Umfeld und der Atmosphäre auf Augenhöhe. Tolle Location mit wunderschönem Ausblick. Für jedes Wetter steht ein toller Sitzplatz zur Verfügung. Muss man gesehen haben. Top Service. Professionell, bemüht und sehr Kundenorientiert. Bei Bedarf geht man hier gerne noch flexibel auf die individuellen Wünsche ein. Sehr leckere Kreationen. Als Menü stimmig und über alle Gänge hinweg fein und lecker abgestimmt. In meinen Augen stimmt hier alles und das zu einem unschlagbaren Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Diese Relation findet man mittlerweile sehr selten. Well done! Macht weiter so. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend und kommen bald wieder.

Ich kann leider zu dieser Lokalität nichts berichten . Laut Webseite wäre die Öffnungszeiten Mittwoch bis Sonntag 12-22 Uhr . Aber wir standen vor einem verschlossenem Lokal mit dem Hinweis , dass vom 5.7. bis 10.7.26 Sommerpause ist . Vielen Dank für nichts !

Wir haben unsere Hochzeit im Rolandsbogen gefeiert und hätten uns keine schönere Location wünschen können. Der Blick auf den Rhein und die Weinreben ist einfach traumhaft und schafft eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Dazu kommt, dass auf alle Wünsche eingegangen wird und man sich rundum bestens betreut fühlt. Ein besonderes Lob geht an die Betriebsleitung Frau Frauke Strack, die durch ihre perfekte Kundenorientierung wirklich jeden Wunsch möglich gemacht hat. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Erfahrung, Aufmerksamkeit und echter Gastfreundschaft gearbeitet wird. Auch das gesamte Service-Team war jederzeit aufmerksam — kein Weinglas blieb jemals leer, und wir haben uns die ganze Zeit sehr gut umsorgt gefühlt. Das Essen war durchweg lecker und wurde genau nach unseren Wünschen umgesetzt. Besonders gut kam auch der Mitternachtssnack an, der für alle Gäste ein Highlight war. Der Umgang war angenehm locker, gleichzeitig professionell und herzlich. Insgesamt war einfach alles super, und wir können den Rolandsbogen als Hochzeitslocation absolut empfehlen.

Wir waren im Rolandsbogen für die Hochzeit meiner Cousine und sind absolut begeistert! Die Location ist einfach ein Traum – das Ambiente, das Restaurant und die gesamte Atmosphäre sind absolut top. Auch das Essen war fantastisch und super lecker! Ein riesiges Lob geht zudem an das gesamte Team: Wir haben uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt perfekt aufgehoben gefühlt. Der Service war erstklassig, unglaublich aufmerksam und immer sofort zur Stelle. Es war immer jemand da, sodass man problemlos und schnell Getränke bestellen konnte. Es gibt wirklich überhaupt nichts zu bemängeln, es war eine rundum gelungene Feier. Fünf Sterne – einfach nur top, top, top! Eine absolute Empfehlung. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Die standesamtliche Trauung fand in einer traumhaften Umgebung statt, die schöner kaum hätte sein können. Die Lage mit dem atemberaubenden Blick auf das Rheintal ist einfach einzigartig. Schon beim Ankommen fühlt man sich willkommen und wohl. Das gesamte Team war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Jeder Mitarbeiter hat dazu beigetragen, dass dieser besondere Tag für uns unvergesslich wurde. Auch die Küche hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Die Speisen waren hervorragend zubereitet, geschmacklich ein Genuss und mit viel Liebe zum Detail präsentiert. Man merkt sofort, dass hier Qualität und Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben werden. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an das gesamte Team des Restaurant am Rolandsbogen für die wunderbare Organisation, den ausgezeichneten Service und die besondere Atmosphäre. Ich war auf der Suche nach einer schönen Aussicht, und dieser Ort hat zwei, nein, sogar drei Besonderheiten. Zunächst die Zufahrtsstraße. Der letzte Kilometer ist grundsätzlich für den Verkehr gesperrt, aber für Hotelgäste zugänglich. Ein schöner Spaziergang in herrlicher Umgebung. Zweitens: Der Eingang zum Restaurant führt über einen wunderschön angelegten, recht steilen Pfad. Schließlich steht man am Fuße des Grundstücks, wo der Rolandbaum den Eingang des Restaurants markant überragt. Drittens: ein traumhafter Blick vom Balkon über den Rhein und Bad Honnef. Auf einem Balkon mit herrlicher Aussicht, inmitten der Weinberge. Wir waren leider zu früh da und das Restaurant hatte noch geschlossen. Ein guter Grund, wiederzukommen.

Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Traumhafte Aussicht, leckeres Essen und phantastischer Service.

Man zahlt für die Aussicht einen derben Aufpreis. 16,50€ für eine Currywurst mit Tütenmajo. Nicht mal eine selbstgemachte Majo gibt es zu dem Preis. Ein Strammer Max 18,50€! Portionsgrößen winzig. Service war sehr freundlich aber langsam.

Wir waren letztes Jahr hier, um den 18. Geburtstag unseres Sohnes zu feiern. Leider kam eine halbe Stunde nach unserer Ankunft eine größere Gruppe, der DJ baute sein Equipment auf, und von da an wurden wir völlig vernachlässigt. Wir fühlten uns wie Gäste zweiter Klasse. Das Essen war zwar mit 8 von 10 Punkten in Ordnung, aber insgesamt war der Besuch enttäuschend. Für den Preis hätte man mehr erwarten können.

Atemberaubende Landschaft gepaart mit herausragendem historischem Architekturerbe, die Qualität des Essens ist gut, obwohl einige Gerichte etwas zu salzig sind, ich hoffe, vielleicht in der Zukunft wiederzukommen.

Toller Blick! Sehr sehr freundliche Bedienung. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Es ist etwas besonderes da zu sein. Ich war schon mehrfach da und noch nie enttäuscht! Ich komme sicher wieder!

Ein wunderbarer, stimmiger Ort mit Atmosphäre und großartigen Aussichten. Ein langes, lautstarkes Telefonat im Gastraum durch die Managerin(?) in dem eine Hochzeit geplant wurde hat unglaublich gestört und es war auch nicht einzusehen, warum das im noch relativ leeren Restaurant stattfinden musste.

Im September 2025 haben wir unsere Hochzeit auf dem Rolandsbogen gefeiert – und es hätte nicht schöner sein können. Frau Strack war von Beginn an eine zuverlässige Ansprechpartnerin und stand uns vom ersten Termin bis einschließlich des großen Tages jederzeit für Fragen zur Verfügung. Bei jedem Besuch im Vorfeld wurden wir freundlich empfangen und kompetent beraten. Auch das Probeessen zum vergünstigten Preis war mehr als üppig. Sämtliche Absprachen wurden eingehalten, auf unsere Wünsche wurde jederzeit eingegangen und die Dekoration nach unseren Vorstellungen umgesetzt. Das Essen war lecker und trotz vieler Personen sowohl von hoher Qualität als auch zeitlich gut organisiert. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die äußerst kompetenten Servicekräfte, die auch von unseren Gästen mehrfach gelobt wurden. Sie waren höflich, aufmerksam, schnell und stets eine Ansprechperson für alle Belange der Gäste. Natürlich trägt auch die wunderschöne Aussicht zum besonderen Ambiente dieser Location bei. Das Trauzimmer mit Blick über den Rhein ist eine Standesamt-Außenstelle von Remagen und ebenfalls wärmstens zu empfehlen. Auch hier konnte uns Frau Strack bereits im Vorfeld viele Fragen beantworten. Die Parkplatzsituation bereitet einem im Vorfeld zwar etwas Sorge, lässt sich jedoch mit der richtigen Kommunikation in der Einladung problemlos lösen. In allen Bereichen merkt man, dass Frau Strack und ihr Team hervorragend eingespielt sind und über viel Erfahrung im Eventbereich verfügen. Man kann hier einfach vertrauen. Gerade bei Hochzeiten ist die Kostenstruktur oft nicht ganz transparent. Am Rolandsbogen erhält man jedoch ein detailliertes Angebot, das nach neuen Absprachen stets aktualisiert wird. Auch die Abrechnung im Anschluss war vollkommen nachvollziehbar und ohne versteckte Kosten. Wir können den Rolandsbogen uneingeschränkt als Hochzeitslocation – aber auch als „normales“ Restaurant – empfehlen und wünschen allen Brautpaaren eine ebenso wunderschöne Hochzeit, wie wir sie erleben durften. Dieser Ort ist ein Traum. Bestes Essen bester Service und eine fabelhafte Aussicht. Die Straße dorthin ist teilweise sehr schmal. Der Zugang zum Restaurant ist nicht barrierefrei. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wiederkommen.

Als DJ kenne ich die Location von verschiedenen Hochzeiten. Angenehme Akustik, hilfsbereites Team und tolle Stimmung. Top Adresse mit einem fantastischen Ausblick!

Immer wieder ein Erlebnis, sehr gutes Essen und der Service ist auch außergewöhnlich

Mein neues Lieblings-Restaurant. In jeder Hinsicht außergewöhnlich. Unschlagbare Location mit sensationellen Ausblick über das Rheinland und Siebengebirge. Top Service, sehr sehr gute Küche und eine tolle Weinkarte, sogar die offenen Weine sind super. Mein Tip: frischer Rinder-Tatar am Tisch zubereitet mit einem Glas Malbec vom Weingut Kaiken.... eine Geschmacks-Explosion!!!!

Gute bis sehr gute gutbürgerliche Küche mit vielen "Klassikern", die i.d.R. sorgfältig zubereitet werden. Freundliche Deiche zuvorkommend Bedienung. Aber nichts schlägt das wunderschöne Ambiente hoch über dem Rhein am Rolandsbogen. Der Hauptgastraum ist schlicht, aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet und auch recht gemütlich, besonderes wenn der Kamin brennt. Die Aussicht ist tagsüber, aber auch abends phantastisch. Einziges Manko: Der Toilettenbereich ist nicht wirklich besonders gepflegt und auch nicht auf der Höhe der Zeit.

Eine absolute Frechheit den Gästen einen nicht beheizten gastraum anzubieten. Uns wurde nach unserer Bitte doch wenigstens den heizstrahler anzumachen eine Decke angeboten. Aus Köln kommend hätte man uns das telefonisch wenigstens mitteilen können das man mit daunenjacke im Restaurant besser aufgehoben wäre. Einfach ärgerlich Nicht nochmal!!!!

Incredible, beautiful view, a clean and comfortable, pleasant place.

Das Restaurant hat eine hervorragende Lage - die beste in der ganzen Region. Klasse Blick auf den romantischen Rhein, die Hügel und die Weinberge. Die Karte ist gut. Vor allem der Klassiker Wiener Schnitzel. Die Weinkarte haut mich nicht um. Sie haben sehr nettes aufmerksames Personal. Normalerweise geht das mit dem Servieren des Essens auch relativ flott. Leider haben wir gestern viel zu lange auf das Essen warten müssen, obwohl nur wenige andere Gäste gleichzeitig mit uns gegessen haben. Wir waren pünktlich um 14 Uhr da, haben um 14.15 Uhr bestellt und das Essen kam dann gegen 15.20 Uhr. Das war ärgerlich. Vielleicht ein einmaliges Ereignis!

Since I'm always out and about very early, the staff still allowed me access to the outdoor area to take some photos. I've known this place for a long time and have enjoyed the wonderful view here several times over coffee and cake.

Ich hatte zum Geburtstag einen Tisch für 2 Personen reserviert. Der Ausblick war fantastisch, die Vorspeise wie immer sensationell gut. Wir haben dann allerdings mehr als eine Stunde auf den Hauptgang gewartet. Da die Speisen an anderen Tischen relativ zügig serviert wurden hat mein Mann äußerst höflich gefragt, ob man uns eventuell vergessen hätte. Anstelle einer kurzen Entschuldigung bekamen wir dann direkt am Tisch eine Belehrung. Es wäre ein Luxusproblem bei dieser tollen Aussicht warten zu müssen, -ob wir denken würden, dass das Personal nicht fleißig wäre und nicht arbeiten würde, etc. Das war mir unendlich peinlich, insbesondere da auch Gäste an anderen Tischen Zeuge des Gesprächs wurden. Der Hauptgang wurde dann schnell serviert, die schöne Atmosphäre der Geburtstagsfeier war aber vollständig zerstört.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Yesterday I proposed to my girlfriend in this restaurant and she said "yes"! I would like to note that in addition to the beautiful view of the Rhine Valley, the highlight of this establishment is the staff. The very kind and welcoming restaurant administrator helped me organize a surprise for my girlfriend, she prepared a table and a bouquet of flowers for our arrival, and also supported me. We were also served by a very intelligent and pleasant waiter (unfortunately, I do not know their names), and another employee made a wonderful video for us at my request. The restaurant has a great calm atmosphere and very tasty food. We were very pleased and will come to you to celebrate our anniversary!

Das Essen war sehr lecker, aber die Portion (Salat mit Hähnchen) recht klein. Es hat lange gedauert, bin wir die Speisekarten bekamen und bedient wurden. Im Anschluss ging es recht schnell. Die meisten Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Leider bekamen wir in zweiter Reihe einen Tisch zugewiesen, obwohl zwei oder drei Tische in der ersten Reihe frei waren und einer davon auch bis zu unserer Abreise leer blieb - mit der Begründung, dass unsere Reservierung später eingegangen sei als die der anderen Tische.

Ein schönes kulinarisches Erlebnis, untermalt von der tollen Aussicht und Landschaft. Das Essen auf einem hohen Niveau, der Service freundlich und kompetent. Wir haben es genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

After an exhausting walk for which you need to be in good shape, we arrived at the restaurant. Beautifully situated on top of a mountain. By car is the best option. However, you still have to climb a few stairs. We sat in the conservatory. This gave a fantastic view over the Rhine. It could be decorated a bit cozier. The service was good and friendly. We had the "candlelight dinner". Beforehand we got bread with an onion dip with red peppers. The dinner consisted of 2 starters, a main course and a dessert. The food was well presented and delicious. Not run-of-the-mill. A lot of attention has been paid to it. If we come again, we will come by car.

Restaurant and café with magnificent views of the Rhine and the Siebengebirge mountains. There's also a covered glass terrace. But it's expensive. You have to be a good walker to get to the restaurant.

We reserved a table outside on the terrace overlooking the Rhine. Everything was perfect. The weather, the view, the staff, and the food—everything was just perfect. We felt completely at home. Please note that the restaurant is not wheelchair accessible (for those with walking difficulties). There are a few steps to climb from the parking lot. But it was definitely worth it. We'd love to come back.

A beautiful view is not everything for a restaurant I ate a Wiener Schnitzel there. It's amazing how you can get something like this down to 1mm flat. An impossibility in terms of quality and quality. The potato salad that was served with it was also not convincing. The outside seating is completely weathered.

A great evening with perfect service in a great atmosphere. We were there with the family on Easter Sunday and really enjoyed the evening. We'll definitely be back!

An absolute highlight! We were completely impressed by the Rolandsbogen – from the warm welcome to the attentive service to the delicious food. Each course was lovingly prepared and tasted perfectly. I would particularly like to highlight the super attentive and hospitable team led by Ms. Strack - a dream! The atmosphere was cozy and stylish, ideal for a relaxed trip. You can tell straight away that people cook and work here with passion. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant!

An absolute insider tip with a fantastic view! Our visit to the restaurant at Rolandsbogen was a complete success. Even climbing the 60 stairs wasn't a problem thanks to the beautiful surroundings - on the contrary, you really enjoy going up them! Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a magnificent view that is worth the visit alone. The food was simply great – fresh, tasteful and prepared with a lot of love. We would particularly like to highlight the waiter Steve, who was extremely friendly, attentive and warm. This makes you feel really welcome as a guest. The location is impeccable – historic, charming and well-kept at the same time. We would come back at any time and can fully recommend the restaurant!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend mit Freunden nach einer Wanderung um den Rolandsbogen. Zu dem zauberhaften Rundumblick und der gemütlichen Atmosphäre im Restaurant passte der sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Service. Das Candlelight Dinner für 2 Personen war mit wirklich frischen Zutaten und Liebe zum Detail zubereitet und nicht überladen. Ich habe „nur“ 4 Sterne vergeben, da es keine Sterneküche ist, aber nah herankommt. Wir kommen wieder!

When my wife and I arrived at the top of the Rolandsbogen this afternoon (April 18, 2025) after a sporty climb, we would have loved to enjoy the view of the Rhine from the outside terrace advertised by the restaurant. Unfortunately, the employee denied our wish to sit outside on the fully furnished terrace, saying “it would be too cold”. Well... apparently you don't need any sales and would rather patronize your guests.

A highly recommended restaurant! In addition to the beautiful view over the Rhine and the idyllic location at the Rolandsbogen, the food also scores points. In addition, the staff is very friendly with good knowledge of the food. I had the schnitzel tossed in clarified butter with the warm potato salad – it was world class! The schnitzel was thin and so tender that you definitely didn't need a knife. In addition to the quality, the size of the portion is also surprising. As a passionate eater who likes to eat beyond others' hunger, I can't complain - I didn't need dessert. The potato salad rounded off the meal well. The staff was very friendly and was able to answer any questions, as befits a well-known restaurant. And you don't even need to talk about the ambience - the view of the Rhine was fantastic. Watching the boats while talking and eating is simply wonderful. What there is to criticize: An employee's cell phone rang several times - but that's not worth mentioning. All in all, it was a successful visit and I would combine it with a walk, especially if the weather was good.

Attention, this location is not barrier-free. But dealing with this widespread inaccessibility is something worth considering. And that's a thing in our age. People with limited mobility, elderly people with infirmities and wheelchair users are brutally and completely unthinkingly excluded from this location. If everything doesn't work and you are still asked to understand it. Very ignorant and not very creative. B. Being able to help with virility would be a certain approach…… You should avoid this location out of solidarity, because a disability can arise overnight. We got married a few days ago on the Rolandsbogen and then had our wedding celebration there with a champagne reception/cake and dinner afterwards (3 course menu). The organization/coordination in advance on site was very uncomplicated - we always felt we were well advised and had a good feeling there. The day was perfect for us - the service was above average attentive & friendly, the food was really delicious and the organization of the day itself ran smoothly. All special features discussed in advance were taken into account, e.g. gluten intolerances or suitable food for small children. No guest was left without a drink and we only heard positive feedback from our guests. We were lucky with the weather - the atmosphere and view was just perfect. Unfortunately, you only get married once in your life ;) - we'll definitely be back, not just for your wedding day! Thanks!

Great location with great views. Unfortunately, the operator does nothing to prevent bird strikes on his giant discs. There is no sense of nature conservation! Therefore only one star!

The restaurant at Rolandsbogen is worth a visit not only because of the wonderful view. In the beautiful Rhine Valley, above Nonnenwert, you can get good food and lots of refreshing drinks at a reasonable price. The toilets are clean. It can get crowded on weekends, so we recommend making a reservation if you want a place on the terrace.

Great location very expensive prices

A perfect restaurant visit! We ate there for the second time yesterday and everything was perfect from start to finish. The service staff were without exception polite, friendly, very attentive but not intrusive. We had a 4-course menu for two people for a total of 115 euros, which I personally found to be quite cheap given the quality. Every single course tasted excellent, especially the main course with beef fillet, vegetables and a parmesan risotto. We sat in the winter garden at the front with an exceptionally beautiful view. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening!

The view and weather were excellent. I ordered boiled beef, unfortunately the beef was very tough. For 26 euros I expected something different. I also didn't like the very large round tables on the roof terrace. Tables for two and four were missing. But definitely worth a visit.

Great start to the season! We had lunch in the restaurant today in excellent weather - unfortunately (but also understandable given the weather) there was nothing left on the terrace or in the winter garden. So we sat down in the restaurant. When you think of a restaurant at a destination, you usually don't expect excellent service, excellent food, or the kind of attention you would otherwise encounter in fine dining. What can you say - all of that was a given! The lady of the house was incredibly courteous and friendly, as were her employees. For our dog (who is sometimes not welcomed, especially in restaurants of equal quality) water and a treat were brought straight away. Our dishes (Wiener Schnitzel and Sauerbraten) were really VERY GOOD, and I don't say that often. The Wiener Schnitzel in particular was wafer-thin, beautifully seasoned and the breading curled in an absolutely presentable way. All in all: Be sure to reserve on weekends on sunny days in order to have the beautiful view of the Rhine in addition to the wonderful overall picture. Please keep it up!

The food and drinks were good and the view was magnificent. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it for long because it was freezing cold in the winter garden. Although there were numerous patio heaters in the winter garden and additionally installed on the ceilings, guests were not willing to turn them on and justified this with heating costs. Nothing changed after guests at almost every table asked for the patio heaters to be turned on and even though the winter garden was initially more visited because of the view than the interior without a view. However, we and other guests were ultimately forced to move indoors due to the freezing cold. For a restaurant in this price category that advertises the view, I think this service is very customer-unfriendly.

We were there with 6 people for my father's 70th birthday. I thought it was a shame that no one took note of this birthday. Neither in the form of congratulations nor anything else. I specified this when making the reservation. Then I have to say that I expect certain things in such a high-priced restaurant. Maybe I'm a bit old-fashioned, but then I can eat out at a normal-priced restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive at all times. However, I don't like that the aperitif only comes after the starter has been served, and I also expect it to always be served from the right. I also don't think it's appropriate for the staff to wear fleece jackets in such an atmosphere. I think you can expect something different. The food was very mixed. Some things were very good, such as the dessert and the piece of meat, as well as the fish. Unfortunately there is an addendum the next morning: 4 out of 6 people had to deal with nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pain during the night.

Das Essen war einfach fantastisch und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war absolut stimmig. Der Service war super aufmerksam und das Ambiente mit Blick auf den Rhein ist einfach überwältigend.

Magnificent wedding celebration in beautiful surroundings. Restaurant service perfect for 50 of us - everything at the same time, hot, cooked to the (right) point, drinks at exact temperatures and served quickly. And you can hardly beat the view of the Rhine and the Siebengebirge and the Cologne-Bonn Bay...
