Restaurant Al Lago in Werder (Havel)

Was there for the third time and found it only semi-good. Both pizza and pasta were bland and I had to add more seasoning. The high prices are maximally justified by the location. My companion's order was recorded incorrectly, but then kept and billed by the service. The dish was twice as expensive as what I actually ordered. The service seems fake to me and even intrusive. I can hardly describe it but I found it rather unpleasant.

Located directly on the Havel, I was able to dine on the terrace when the weather was good. Despite the full house, the friendly service was quick with the order. Even though my pasta with prawns (in one piece) wasn't anything special, the atmosphere and ambience were still very good. I was very satisfied. Attention: Drink prices are very high....😀

We were almost alone in the restaurant at the beginning, ordered properly and would have liked to have had dessert...we're just not regulars or maybe not fancy enough.

As has unfortunately been the case in other restaurants recently, the price-performance ratio here is getting worse and worse. Certainly staff and purchasing prices for food have increased, but €8 for a double espresso and €25.70 for a schnitzel, made of veal, with fries without any side dish or sauce are clearly too much for my understanding.

Beautiful terrace with a view of the Havel. We enjoyed the very relaxed atmosphere twice, very nice, attentive and personal service, very good value for money; good pizzas, excellent baby calamari della Casa.

Here orders are recorded on a piece of paper and communicated to the kitchen. There were a number of misunderstandings during our visit, including regarding drink requests, but these were corrected immediately. We ate well and tasty and felt comfortable on the terrace.

Absolute recommendation, food, ambience and service. You put in a lot of effort and when the weather is nice you sit in the evening with a view of the water. Prices remain normal despite the situation.

It's nice to sit, almost by the water. Menu, there is something for every taste. We had linguini with scampi and Penne Al Lago. Both tasted very good.

We only stopped in for a sundowner and had a fantastic tiramisu and a sturdy pinot grigio. Unfortunately, we had to keep our spontaneous visit quite short because the mosquitoes attacked us. Maybe you could do something for the guests here with mosquito coils etc.... but nevertheless this small inconvenience is almost completely compensated for by the very, very charming service

We ate in the restaurant for the first time yesterday. The food was good, but unfortunately the service wasn't quite there. We were brought the wrong dish, which can happen. The female waiter apologized and wanted to let the kitchen know so that we could receive what we ordered. Shortly afterwards the young waiter (who we had placed the order with) returned with the same dish. When we told him that we didn't order this, he said that it also tasted good and we should try it. As a guest, you actually don't want to discuss things or be persuaded in this situation. I found this to be unprofessional.

We were invited to this restaurant by friends and were surprised. We were treated courteously and attentively by Marco. Our meal was accompanied by the right wine. The food was delicious and at the end we girls received a red rose. The evening couldn't have been nicer. Completely consistent. We will be back…..

We had dinner at Al Lago with 4 people and 2 dogs. We were greeted very nicely and taken to a quiet corner table so that the dogs also had enough space, which by the way were very welcome. The ambience was great, the table was set with white tablecloths and cloth napkins, there were even fresh flowers on the table. Staff super friendly, accommodating and funny. The food was super good. Pizzas with a very thin base, well topped and taste great. Special requests were also taken into account. The pasta was beautifully prepared with fresh herbs, the salmon was cooked well, the lobster sauce wasn't too creamy, it was simply delicious. We also paid attention to the drinks and always asked about our wishes. Price-performance ratio fits. All in all, we were super satisfied and spent a very nice evening at Al Lago.

Consistently below average and not appropriate for the price level. From the starter (baguette really dry) to pizza and pasta (takeaway level) to coffee (like in a canteen)... A pity.

I was at Al Lago two weeks ago, the atmosphere is very pleasant, the service is very friendly and attentive, and the pizzas we ate were both delicious - thin crust, plenty of toppings and, above all, no skimping on the cheese. I'll definitely come back.

This afternoon my husband and I visited this Italian restaurant for the first time. The beautiful ambience invites you to feel good. We ate "Tagliatelle al Salmone" and "Tiramisu" for dessert, both of which were very lovingly prepared. The employee then took the time to consult to reserve a family celebration for the summer at the “Al Lago” restaurant. The restaurant is located on the regatta course on the island of Werder with a fantastic view of the Havel. Many thanks to the team as well as the friendly service and chef for the delicious food. We would love to come back 🌺🍀.

Great pizzeria, delicious food in a wonderful atmosphere. My pizza Frutti del Mare was exactly to my taste, the dessert, a truffle ice cream... oh so delicious 😋 As a farewell, the boss gave us half a meter of a rose... I'd love to come back!!!!

We were there as a family of 4 for a late lunch on a Sunday in January. The ambience and service-Marco-were exceptionally good. Likewise all food and drinks. We'd love to come back. When it's full it could get louder, atypically great.

The Al Lago in Werder an der Havel is a wonderful restaurant with a very enchanting ambience. The visit there made my heart beat faster. A wonderful, well-groomed female service person with beautiful hands served me and my companion to the complete satisfaction. The dishes are of high quality and excellently prepared with great enjoyment. Everything is served hot and appetizing on very nice, clean, white plates. A wonderful selection of drinks and desserts is available with the main courses. The interior is very well maintained and great emphasis is placed on white fabric tablecloths and starched fabric napkins. In short, price/performance 1A+. You shouldn't withhold this location from your acquaintances and friends. The great outdoor terrace invites you to spend wonderful sociable hours directly on the Havel in spring and summer. I look forward to the next visit. I also wish you many good guests!

Bedingung war sehr gut Essen war auch mega lecker (Steinbutt). Ambiente ist auch sehr schön.

Essen mit Familie und spass mit dem kellner haben kann nur bei Allago werder sein. Waren mit Familie dort essen ...haben schönen abend gehabt es gab genug Parkplätze. Am Anfang würden sehr Freundlich Empfang von das Personal platziert und gleich nette Empfehlungen bekommen wir hatten primitivo rotwein bestellt so wie Vorspeisen und Fischgerichte. Alles war sehr lecker und köstlich...Danke an Marco unser Bediener der war sehr sympathisch und seine Empfehlungen sehr hilfreich... weiter so. Danke Allago wir kommen wieder .

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und halten oft in Werder zum Mittagessen und haben uns dieses Mal für das Al Lago entschieden. Super Entscheidung! Das Essen war sehr lecker und obwohl etwas schiefging (unsere kleine Tochter bekam erst 5-10 Minuten später ihre Pizza, da etwas schiefging und diese neu gemacht werden musste, was aber auch ehrlich kommuniziert wurde), war das alles kein Problem - gab es halt ein paar Nudeln von Mama und Papa als Vorspeise :) Zur Wiedergutmachung lag ein Lolli bei und ein Eis im Anschluss wurde versprochen, was wir aber nicht wahrgenommen haben, da das Kind pappesatt war. Geschenkt gab es am Ende noch einen Flummi, womit sie den ganzen Tag mit funkelnden Augen gespielt hat. Es war eine sehr entspannte, freundliche Atmosphäre und ein Abschied mit Händedruck. Rückwirkend muss ich gestehen, dass dies der beste Gastgeber war, den ich bisher getroffen habe im Umgang eines (für uns zumindest) verschmerzbaren, kleinen Fehlers, der passieren kann. Hier kann sich jedes Restaurant in Deutschland eine Scheibe abschneiden - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder.

Wir waren nun bereits zum dritten Mal im Al Lago und haben unseren Besuch dort immer wieder genossen. Sowohl im Innenbereich als auch auf der Terrasse sitzt man schön. Die geschmackvolle Einrichtung schafft eine freundliche Stimmung (auch wenn etwas weniger, kleinere Tische im Zentrum des Gastraums die Atmosphäre nochmal deutlich steigern würden). Die Speisen waren bisher immer durchweg ausgesprochen wohlschmeckend und sehr ansprechend präsentiert. Sowohl die Flaschen- als auch die offenen Weine sind von wirklich guter Qualität (was durchaus nicht selbstverständlich ist). Ganz besonderen Wert scheint man im Al Lago auf den Service zu legen. Vorn der gastfreundlichen, zuvorkommenden Begrüßung gleich beim Eintritt, über die Beratung bei Speisen und Weinen bis hin zur dezenten, aber immer aufmerksamen Umsorgung der Gäste. Bei unserem letzten Besuch nahmen wir aufgrund des souveränen und kompetenten Services unseres Kellners Marco an, dass es sich bei ihm um den Inhaber handeln würde. (Während wir durchaus auch schon in Restaurants waren, wo man sich fragt, ob und wozu es hier überhaupt einen Inhaber gibt ...). In Summe ein wirklich empfehlenswertes Restaurant. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Das Essen war sehr gut allerdings waren auch die Preise etwas üppiger. Im Sommer hat man sicherlich eine schöne Sicht auf das Wasser. Das Ambiente ist schon toll und der Service gut.

Das Al Lago hat damals zur Eröffnung stark angefangen und hat inzwischen leider stark nachgelassen. Ich gehe dort nicht mehr hin. Das Benehmen des Personals (zumindest 1 neuerer Kellner!) ist gelinde gesagt eine Frechheit. Eine 3/4 Stunde auf die Speisekarte gewartet und dann auch noch rumdiskutieren, dass wir ja nur was trinken wollten :-( ... Die Carbonara gab es damals als echte Carbonara für die Hälfte. Inzwischen sind es Spagetti mit Sahnesoße für den doppelten Preis ... och nö, es gibt in Werder deutlich besseres Essen und netteres Personal.

Wir waren in unserem Urlaub in der vergangenen Woche dreimal zum Essen im 'Al Lago'. Das Essen ist hervorragend, der Service ebenso. Unser Kellner, Marco, ist besonders zu erwähnen. Seine freundliche aufgeschlossene Art so sehr lobenswert und zeigt, dass man sich als Gast wohlfühlen kann. Auch das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Danke an die gesamte Belegschaft. Überteuerte Preise, besonders bei den Getränken. Das gereichte Brot war nicht frisch und wirkte wie vom Vortag, auch das Bruscetta war labrig. Die Hauptspeise hingegen war gut. Das Personal war freundlich, jedoch empfand ich das drumherum als sehr hektisch. Gemütlich ist anders. Es war unser erster und auch letzter Besuch dort

Super Lage, schöner Garten draußen. Preis-/Leistung passt und sogar der Hund darf mit.

Top, die Lage 1+ Essen sehr lecker. Keine Preisperle ist aber der Lage und Größe geschuldet.

Im großen und ganzen ein schönes Restaurant, im Innenbereich finde es es etwas zu voll gepackt mit Tischen und Stühlen. Das Essen war sehr gut und auch lecker und Ausreichend. Das Personal war freundlich und immer stets zu Stelle.👍 Ein Manko gibt es allerdings, die Preise finde ich etwas zu heftig egal ob Speisen oder Getränke. Eine 0,4lCola ist teurer als ein 0,4lBier. War sehr geschockt über den Colapreis. Man sollte also genügend Geld bei haben. 😉

Sehr leckeres Essen und supernette Bedienung!

Das Essen war schön angerichtet und sehr lecker. Wir hatten zwei verschiedene Pastagerichte und vorweg Bruschetta. Dazu eine große Flasche Wasser und eine große Cola. Der Service war nervig und "einschleimend" aufgesetzt überfreundlich. Alles war "wunderschön". Das Wort konnten wir nach 5 Minuten einfach nicht mehr hören. Allerdings hatte die Freundlichkeit schnell ein Ende, als der Servicekraft klar war, dass wir als (vermeintliche) Touristen nichts mehr bestellen würden. Wahrscheinlich hatte unser Umsatz nicht der Erwartung entsprochen, aber wir mussten dann lange auf die Rechnung warten, die dann auch unhöflich auf den Tisch geklatscht wurde. Schade. Man muss wohl Stammgast sein und guten Umsatz machen, um bis zum Schluss angemessen bedient zu werden.

Wir waren schon öfters hier und immer alles prima. Egal was man isst es schmeckt alles. Das Personal ist immer sehr höflich. Preisleistung passt perfekt. Danke an euch!!!

Heute waren wir nicht zufrieden. Belag auf Pizza vergessen, stumpfe Messer und Personal nicht wirklich kompetent. Ich finde es mittlerweile unverschämt das ne 0,4 Cola o. Fanta 6€ kostet das is 1,20 € mehr wie ein großes Bier. Dann denke ich mir das ist es uns nicht wert .

Das Essen ist dem Geschmack der Gäste angepasst. Schmeckt gut, ist aber Einheitsware. Service und Ambiente im Garten waren gut.
