Restaurant Al Lago in Werder (Havel)

Lohnenswert! Wir saßen im Restaurant, weil es uns draußen etwas zu kühl war. Das Essen war sehr gut, der Service hervorragend. Danke auch für die Rose, Alberto!

Sehr schönes Restaurant. Essen top, Service top und immer gut gelaunt. Es war wunderschön und Alberto war richtig Klasse und lustig. Wir waren in unserem kurzen Urlaub schon zweimal da. Lohnt sich also wirklich. Was ich aber als Tipp noch auf dem Weg geben möchte ist mehr alkoholfreie Getränke. Eine hausgemachte Limonade wäre toll oder ähnliches nicht nur diese Standard Getränke...da ist Luft nach oben. Trotzdem gibt es fünf Sterne.

Freundliche Bedienung, nettes Ambiente und schöner Standort. Das Bruschetta war gut. Die Nudeln der Lasagne waren sehr weich und kaum Geschmack in dem Gericht. Das Beilagenbrot war trocken. Da gibt es diverse bei weitem bessere italienische Restaurants in der Stadt.

Wir waren zu dritt in dem Restaurant draußen im Garten mit Bilck aufs Wasser. Schon als wir ankamen sah der Kellner sehr genervt aus und meine um 20 Uhr das wir jetzt nicht mehr draußen sitzen können er räume gleich alles rein. Das Restaurant hat bis 23 Uhr auf und draußen saßen auch noch Gäste. Auf weitere Nachfrage durften wir dann doch draußen Platz nehmen. Die Tische und Decken waren leider dreckig genauso überall Spinnenweben und dreckige Lampen. Der Kellner wirkte die ganze Zeit genervt, rollte mit den Augen usw. Wir baten um etwas Zeit um zu schauen was wir bestellen wollen. Dann kam ein Teller mit Oliven und trockenem Brot, ein wenig Öl mit Salz und Pfeffer wäre schön gewesen. Das Essen an sich war lecker aber viel zu überteuert. Nudeln teilweise für 20€, Vanille Eis mit Obst für 11€ usw. Beim bezahlen funktionierte dann keine unserer drei Karten auf dem EC Gerät weswegen der Kellner dann wieder sehr genervt war und meinte das läge an unseren Karten... drinnen hieß es plötzlich man habe keinen Empfang. Wir zahlten dann Bar ohne Trinkgeld da das nichts mit Service gegenüber den Gästen zu tun hat. Der Standort direkt am Wasser auf der Insel Werder hätte eigentlich sehr viel Potenzial. Schade!

Wir saßen bei schönem Wetter draußen. Wir hatten die Pizza "al lago", welche super lecker war. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und das Ambiente sehr schön. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Der Service war freundlich und es war nicht überfüllt. Aufgrund der schönen Umgebung wirkte es etwas touristisch. Die Preise und einige Gerichte auf der Speisekarte am Eingang stimmen nicht mit den tatsächlichen Preisen bzw. angebotenen Gerichten überein – die tatsächlichen Preise sind höher. Das Restaurant sollte dies umgehend korrigieren. Pizza, Pasta und Salat waren gut. Insgesamt in Ordnung.

Schönes Lokal und gutes Essen Immer super Qualität

Immer wieder aufs neue ein tolles Erlebnis. Man wird begrüßt, als wäre man zu Gast bei guten Freunden, die man lange nicht gesehen hat. Sonderwünsche werden, wenn irgendwie möglich, gern erfüllt. Bin im Al Lago noch nie enttäuscht worden. Ansprechende italienische Küche. Preis-Leistung passt !!!

Waren heute während dem Blütenfest hier. Leider katastrophal. Wenn man für eine Servicewüste ein Beispiel möchte, war man hier richtig. Für alles ewig gewartet, selbst auf Nachfrage nochmal 10 bis 15 min gewartet. Auf der Rechnung am Ende war auch alles falsch. Wir waren zu 2, nur Weizenbier und Pils getrunken. Am Schluss war auf der Rechnung dann auch eine Pizza mit drauf. Auf Nachfrage kam nur als Antwort, naja dann rechnen sie sich die Rechnung bitte selbst aus. Am liebsten wäre ich einfach gegangen ohne einen Cent zu zahlen. Fürs Ambiente gibt es 2 Sterne, da wir aufgrund diesem schlechten Service am Nachbartisch neue bekannte getroffen haben, die sich auch darüber aufgeregt haben.

Super Nettes, und Kompetentes Personal würde ich mir überall auf der Welt wünschen. Das Essen war sensationell, von Vorspeise bis Nachtisch. Für alle Generation war dort ein wohlfühl feeling. Wenn man mit Freunden oder Famile zu besonnenen anlässen dort speisen will, ist das meine Empfehlung. Gerne Wieder. War Super Toll

Direkt am Wasser gelegen sitzt man gemütlich im Außenbereich des Restaurants. Das Saltimbocca alla Romana war sehr lecker. Die Portionen hatten etwas größer sein können. Preislich bewegt man sich im höheren Bereich.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit einer schönen Auswahl an Gerichten und Ambiente. Tolles Personal! Vor allem Alberto, der eine herausragend persönliche und individuelle Ansprache an die Gäste richtet. Ich hab noch nie so ein gutes Tiramisu gegessen, wie hier! Allerdings muss ich 1 Punkt abziehen, weil ich nicht wusste, das man erst ab 25 € mit Karte bezahlen darf.

Wir hatten hier einen Tisch reserviert, um nachträglich einen Geburtstag zu feiern. Unsere Bedienung Netti hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen, der Tisch war liebevoll dekoriert. Das Essen war sehr lecker, Netti war einfach super - flink, zuvorkommend und gutgelaunt erledigte sie einen tollen Job. Für das Geburtstagskind gab es zum Nachtisch Tiramisu mit Wunderkerze aufs Haus. Vielen Dank für den super schönen Abend!

sehr gutes Hotel-Restaurant mit deutscher Küche, der Service ist sehr gut, die Mitarbeiter super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war schön angerichtet und hat auch genauso geschmeckt. Wer also deutsche Küche mag, sollte dort unbedingt mal einkehren, wenn möglich mit Reservierung, dass Restaurant scheint wirklich sehr beliebt zu sein. 👍

Wir haben heute Abend phantastisch zubereiteten Fisch gegessen, zu absolut fairen Preisen und von sehr nettem und kompetenten Personal filetiert. Es ist ein sehr angenehmes Restaurant mit einem schönen Ambiete.

Schönes italienisches Restaurant am Wasser

Super leckeres Essen in tollem Ambiente. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und freundlich von Anfang bis Ende. Wenn man schön essen möchte, ist das hier eine tolle Adresse dafür.

Ich schreibe nur negative Rezensionen, wenn ich vom zu Rezensierenden um eine Rezension gebeten werde und ich nicht zufrieden war . Meine Frau und ich hatten Anfang November Tickets für die Silvesterparty am 31.12.2025 für den Preis von 120,00 € pro Ticket gekauft. Die Tickets mussten wir wie jedes Jahr in bar bezahlen und erhielten keine Quittung, sondern nur handschriftlich ausgefüllte Tickets ^^. Im Ticketpreis sollten ein Buffet, Tanz und eine Tombola enthalten sein. In den letzten drei Jahren zuvor wurden diese Leistungen geboten (für weniger Geld) und wir waren immer sehr zufrieden. Insbesondere wegen des sehr guten Buffets und der Aussicht einen schönen Tanzabend zu verbringen, hatte wir wieder Tickets für die Silvesterparty gekauft. Als wir am 31.12.2025 um 19:00 Uhr im Restaurant "Al Lago" eintrafen, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Party ausfällt (obwohl noch an diesem Abend über Außenwerbung (Banner) für diese Veranstaltung geworben wurde). Wir hatten die Wahl, das Geld für die Tickets erstattet zu bekommen oder an der Silvesterfeier in der Trattoria "Bella Vista" in Geltow ("Al Lago" und "Bella Vista" werden vom selben Inhaber geführt ^^) teilzunehmen. Hätten wir nur das Geld genommen! Das "Bella Vista" war völlig überfüllt. Der Inhaber vom "Al Lago" und "Bella Vista" hatte beide Silvesterfeiern zusammengelegt. Im "Bella Vista" saßen wir zusammengedrängt wie in der U-Bahn in der rush hour. Die Musik war dröhnend laut und übersteuert, so dass wir und nicht unterhalten konnten. Durch das Gedränge auf der ca. 15 m² großen Tanzfläche war ein Tanzen unmöglich. Von dem 4-Gang-Menü waren für mich zwei Gänge nicht zu essen. Eine Tombola gab es auch nicht. Wir sind nach dem Essen nach Haus gefahren und hatten dort einen schönen Tanzabend bei Musik in guter Klangqualität und akzeptabler Lautstärke und vor allem einer größeren Tanzfläche für uns zwei, als es das "Bella Vista" bietet. Wir waren lange Jahre Stammgäste im "Al Lago" und hatten bereits an drei Silvesterfeiern teilgenommen. Schade, dass das "Al Lago" seine Gäste so wenig schätzt und wir dort nicht mehr einkehren werden.

Ich war am 2 Weihnachtsfeiertag zu zweit zum Essen. Wir haben die sogenannte Weihnachtskarte bekommen wo mir nichts so richtig zugesagt hat. Auf Nachfrage haben wir sofort die normale Speisekarte bekommen und ich habe ein Steak bestellt und meine Begleitung Tagliatelle mit Filet. Das Essen ist schön angerichtet worden und es hat bis zum letzten Bissen geschmeckt. Alles genau den Punkt.

Ich bin grad mit meiner Pizza Napoli (zusätzlich mit sehr leckerer mailänder Salami) fertig und die war ziemlich perfekt! Der gemischte Vorspeisenteller ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen! Muss mich jetzt nur noch entscheiden, welche Nachspeise ich mir gönne...😂 Ambiente ist sehr edel und die Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. So wünscht man sich das. Definitiv eine absolute Empfehlung!

Wir waren für ein Freundinnen-Wochenende schon zum zweiten Mal hier und sind absolut begeistert vom Ambiente, der Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter und natürlich von dem fantastischen Essen! 12/10 Punkte in allen Bereiche. 🤩

We spontaneously decided to visit the venue last night and were very pleasantly surprised. Fast, incredibly friendly service, great, delicious food, and top-notch service weren't the only things that surprised us. The relaxed atmosphere and, last but not least, the friendly arrangement of the "taxi service" prompted us to write this post. The Italian restaurant Al Lago is located on Werder Island in the Havel River, overlooking the lake. There's parking and a lovely beer garden. The extensive menu offers a wide selection of food and drinks. The service is accommodating to individual requests. We were even able to charge our phone. The island has two churches and beautiful paths, so it's worth stopping for a while.

Beautiful location with a side water view, and a pleasant outdoor area. The food isn't spectacular, but it's perfectly fine.

Our experience at this Italian restaurant was, unfortunately, disappointing overall. The food arrived relatively cold, and when we complained, the waiter simply told us to touch the plate, saying they were the experts, not us—even though the pasta and pizzas were indeed cold. After the waitress admitted that the pizzas had been sitting in the counter for a long time, we were given new ones. The service was generally unfriendly, with tunnel vision and constant idleness, even though there was plenty to do. The portions were very small, and the prices were completely overpriced for what you got. An extra pepperoni on the pizza (1!) cost €2. Salmon pasta tasted like nothing at all for €17.50! What was particularly irritating was that the waitress drank with guests several times during our time there (3 shots at different tables in 1.5 hours), and we saw her smoking around the corner without washing her hands afterward. By the end, she was quite drunk. When we finally gave a reason not to tip, all we got was eye rolls and no apologies. I don't know how the reviews here are so good.

The quality-price ratio isn't convincing. I've rarely paid so much for such poor food. Perhaps that's because it's truly an Albanian restaurant. I don't recommend it.

We celebrated our wedding here. Mimo, the boss, and his staff were always there for us and gave their all, even when not all of our guests were the easiest.

Very tasty sea bream fried to perfection, I would have preferred a different side dish

Al Lago didn't impress me. The tomato sauces were bland and the portions were too small. The service was unpleasantly bossy ("Now, everyone, bring your plates"). I'd rather eat somewhere else.

We had also reserved a table for Saturday evening, August 16th. It worked perfectly when we arrived. The problem here was actually finding a parking space nearby. After a lot of patience, and after someone else had left, I finally got one at the back near the sports fields. We were also well seated outside under the parasols. And as is often the case, everyone wants to sit outside in such beautiful weather, with a beer 🍺, coffee, or 🍧 ice cream garden. That's why, later, when I walked around inside, I realized that almost no one was sitting there... So, when I returned from looking for a parking space, the staff had already quickly served us a drink 🥤. Shortly afterward, we were able to report our choices from the extensive menu to the head waiter. Now, I'd like to say something about this gentleman here today. He was nice and friendly, and calmly attended to all our requests. and typed them into his digital order book. Later, we were able to observe, among other things, how diligently he was serving his guests. In summary, I can say that I have never experienced such a fast-paced restaurant employee as him. He was constantly checking things out, giving information, and at times even running! Later, I asked one of his colleagues where he was from. She said Morocco 🇲🇦... Another waiter also came to our table later to have a chat. He was able to announce that he's usually a waiter, but today he had to step in as a chef 👩‍🍳 because one of the regular chefs had fallen ill at very short notice. So, it seems like there's a team at work here all the time, working hard and being there for each other. Our 5-year-old even got a bowl full of ice cubes upon request. I don't need to comment on the full plates and the delicious taste of the food. Other reviewers have already praised that enough. So, in conclusion, I can only wish the owners and staff good business and satisfied customers, like we were!! 🤔🧐👌😄👍

It was simply wonderful... Last evening of our vacation in Werder. The perfect meal in the setting sun at the Al Lago restaurant. 😋

We've been here several times and have always been largely satisfied, so we were looking forward to this visit as well. This time, however, things didn't go quite as smoothly: Instead of the red wine we ordered, we were served a white wine, with the comment that they were doing us a favor. The gesture was kind, but we would have liked our order to be honored. Unfortunately, the asparagus dishes didn't arrive piping hot, and some of the asparagus was a bit woody, possibly not quite fresh. We also found the comment that there was more asparagus on the plate today because they weren't busy a bit unfortunate – quality is more important to us than quantity. The pizza tasted okay. As a small compensation, we were offered a Sambuca – a friendly gesture, although it would have been nice to have asked beforehand, as not all of us drink alcohol. We generally hold the restaurant in very high regard and hope that our feedback will be seen as constructive. We look forward to the usual standard on our next visit.

On a sunny evening, we sat comfortably on the terrace, received friendly service, and feasted on delicious Italian dishes. Highly recommended! We'd be happy to return…

The proximity to water is now a price to pay for average food. The pizza, although baked in a stone oven, appears to be a normal size, but it's too dry and cluttered for my taste. The steak doesn't even come with a salad. Prices have been raised, for example, €16 for a pizza. A relatively small rump steak with a few pieces of carrot and a few small potatoes costs over €25. We've had better food in terms of quality and quantity.

Extremely unfriendly waitress. She complains about her colleagues in front of the guests. While setting the table, she hit us three times with her hand, and instead of apologizing, she just replied with a blunt "Are you okay?" So we didn't even order more food, as our mood plummeted after the waitress's behavior. Clearly a failure of her job. We were here last time.

We went for lunch two days ago and were served very nicely by our waiter, Marco. Everything was perfect: the ambiance, the food, the great tango music, the weather—it was like a vacation!

Very nice and highly recommended! We went here for dinner twice during our vacation. The welcome was always warm, and we immediately felt welcome! Our dishes were, in our opinion, "typically Italian" – finally, a real, authentic "Spaghetti Carbonara"! (Only those who cook it themselves, like me, know what I'm talking about!) The ambiance outside by the water was also very nice; we had two wonderful evenings at the "Restaurant Al Lago"!

We received a warm welcome for a late lunch and were seated on the terrace. Wonderful antipasti for two with a salad topped with homemade seafood. All fresh and delicious.

Highly recommended!! Super fun and friendly staff. We picked up food around 8 p.m. in the evening and received a free pizza (which was very reasonable for the price, by the way) and a free baguette. If you go in with children, they're always offered a small lollipop. So definitely go there for dinner.

Every plate was not only beautifully presented, but also tasted of the highest quality. Fresh ingredients, creative combinations, and perfect preparation. I particularly recommend the beef fillet and the schnitzel with asparagus. The value for money is also excellent. You get quality here that's worth every penny. I will definitely be back and can only warmly recommend this restaurant!

This is my second time in Werder. I ate here for the first time and I was thrilled! I wouldn't be lying if I said it's the best pizza I've ever eaten! The staff is also super friendly and accommodating!! I've been here for the second day in a row and I'm currently waiting for my pizza. I'm curious to see if it's this good again! If I could give it 6 stars, I would!! :-) Edit: The second pizza was also amazing!

Simply fantastic! The atmosphere was warm and authentic, the service attentive and friendly. The food—from the homemade pasta to the crispy pizza—was an absolute delight. I particularly want to highlight the tiramisu, which was heavenly! We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Four of us were there and were very impressed: great ambiance, super attentive and friendly service, and excellent food. We arrived early and got a table without any problems. In addition to the menu, we were presented with and explained the daily special (!). As a welcome gift, we received delicious olives and plenty of bread. The dishes arrived beautifully presented, hot, and delicious. We felt at home.
