One of the best Greek restaurants in Darmstadt.

Our visit, with a group of three, was characterized by particularly friendly service. Although we were initially seated inside, we quickly warmed up. Our request to continue the evening outside was handled promptly and to our complete satisfaction. The menu offered a diverse selection. Both the starters and main courses were thoroughly impressive. Overall, we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Perfect for family celebrations! We've celebrated here several times and always enjoy coming back! In the evenings, they even play music so you can dance a bit. The staff is truly attentive, and the food, especially the Georgian specialties, is truly amazing – highly recommended!

Two trips to Darmstadt and two dinners at the Akropolis restaurant! Excellent Greek food—tatsiki, moussaka, souvlaki—served quickly, in a less warm and noisy atmosphere than a Greek tavern, more Germanic in style, let's say. But excellent value.

A family atmosphere, delicious skewered meat, and a wide variety of other dishes are simply fantastic! Highly recommended! We've been going there regularly for five years and will keep coming back!

We had a small corporate celebration evening there, and I went awesome. Greek & Georgian cuisine are very good here. I tasted octopus salad, grilled shrimps, shashlik, Greek dry red wine and medovik pie - everything was over the expectations. + light salad is served as a compliment here. This place will be at my top of Darmstadt

We went because of the good reviews. We had a strange feeling when we saw the building from the outside, but the reviews were very positive. Then came the disillusionment, we ordered 2 starter plates and 2 main courses. The starters came within 5 minutes and that's how they tasted, we weren't finished with the starters when the main courses arrived. Almost all of the dishes were poorly seasoned or no longer warm. The only positive thing was the draft wheat beer. In conclusion we paid almost €100 for a below average meal. We saved ourselves dessert. Unfortunately not recommended, where the good reviews came from is anyone's guess...

I most recommend skewers and other delicacies of Georgian cuisine. You have to call a day in advance and they will prepare whatever your heart desires :)

Visited the restaurant for the first time 3 weeks ago. Food good. Service friendly and reserved. The prices were very moderate. Yesterday there a second time. Dishes have price increases of up to 25%. Many dishes in one go 5 euros more expensive. However, it has to be said that they simply adapted to each other's prices. We really enjoyed the food. We'd love to come back.

The food was great, the service could be a little more attentive. Points were deducted for our stay for the disco, which was supposed to start at 8:30 p.m. but started at 8:10 p.m. Bright, flashing lights and loud music. It wasn't nice, 1 woman danced. Gladly again without a disco!

This restaurant seems somewhat inconspicuous. It is more reminiscent of a sports field casino, which it probably once was. Despite all this, effort was made to set it up. The service was very nice and accommodating. The food was very tasty, but the bar was set very high given the number of Greek restaurants we had already visited.

We tried this restaurant while on vacation. The hallway leading up to the restaurant was a little different than expected, but we didn't let that put us off. The place was nice and we chose dishes. We were served very friendly. The food was really hot and tasty. I can recommend it. Thank you.

I'm not that convinced now. The salad was carelessly prepared. The bifteki was not fried properly. But the fries are great. Despite ordering at the same time, the food did not come to the table at the same time.

Not excessive, just good food and a cozy atmosphere

I can't understand the good reviews here. If I were to compare it with my experience here, the question arises as to whether everyone here has really given an honest rating or whether the rating itself is perhaps not honest. There are supposed to be reviews that......... Oh well. In any case, we now know where we will not dine again...... The restaurant has an atmosphere like a sports club. Huge TV on the wall in the dining room. A few men sit in front of it and sip their Pilsner. Like in the pub. The long tables looked like they were for a get-together. Zero decoration on it. Outside from the terrace (beer garden) there is a direct view of the sports field or to the other side of the main street. Zero decorated here too. A volume like in the gym. The outdoor area was still well attended. It was probably because the surrounding restaurants were closed on Mondays. We can't explain it any other way. All of the food was no longer hot. The meat was *fried to death* and the beef liver was so dry that it was already crumbling. The tzatziki wasn't tasty either. The moderate prices didn't really change that. We won't be coming back. That's for sure.

Meat was good, tzatziki was weak, rice was badly overcooked, and the completely fried fish platter was very dry. All in all, the Greek dishes are below average. Maybe the Georgian offer is better? Service was attentive and also quick. The location is ok, a bit rocky on the outside.

A very good restaurant with delicious food. Classic as I usually am, I had gyros and garlic bread before that. My wife had a lamb platter and that was also very good. The portions are also large so that everyone is full.

The food at the Acropolis was very tasty.

Very good gyros and souvlaki (Athens plate). Meat very juicy and excellently seasoned. Absolutely recommended as a dish for small appetites.

I was there today. And you want to eat in peace. A wedding in the next room. Not separated by doors, totally loud music. We couldn't understand our own words anymore. I think you should have said when you made the reservation that there would be a very big, loud celebration. We ate there but didn't feel like staying there any longer. And when we asked if the music could be turned down a little, we were told that it wasn't possible.!!

We've always been happy so far, but yesterday we sat there in the cold and were so cold that we all got colds today. Saving is the order of the day (heating costs), we know that, but for us it's definitely not possible again in this cold. It's not summer yet... unfortunately.

Das Essen gestern war in Ordnung, aber es war im Lokal so dermaßen kalt, dass wir alle gefroren haben und heute sind wir alle erkältet. Ja, sparen ist angesagt (Heizkosten Zimmer Beispiel), aber die Gäste im Kalten sitzen lassen, geht gar nicht. Jedenfalls geht es für uns hier nicht mehr.

The inside is much nicer than expected from the outside. The food was very, very tasty (we had special Georgian cuisine that evening, which had to be ordered in advance). The Georgian red wine that was served with it was also great! Only recommended :)

Bestellt wurde ein klassischer Grillteller, der mit kleinen Schwächen insgesamt auch gut geschmeckt hat. Sehr süffig ist das Pils vom Fass. Die Preise sind vergleichsweise moderat. Wenig ansprechend ist das Ambiente, dass sehr dunkel und kühl (im doppelten Sinne) daherkommt.

Unfortunately, I can't understand the good reviews at all. Our dishes tasted warmed up and completely overcooked. Whether it's a starter or a main course, apart from the napkins, it unfortunately has nothing to do with a real Greek restaurant. Unfortunately we haven't eaten so badly in a long time.

Super! Waren gestern dort essen und trotz des erstmal überraschenden Ambiente wurden wir vollkommen überzeugt! Eine große Speisekarte mit viel Auswahl und trotzdem professionell und lecker zubereitet. Das Personal war freundlich und super aufmerksam. Man musste ein Gericht nur beschreiben und schon wusste die Bedienung die Nummer und auch andersrum. Sehr eindrucksvoll. Es war lecker und man wurde auf jeden Fall satt. Außerdem war es sauber und nicht zu laut. Kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Wir waren dort zur Weihnachtsfeier. Das zweite Mal in Folge und waren wieder total begeistert. Das Essen ist geschmacklich einwandfrei und macht aufgrund der großen Portionen wirklich satt. Wenn man dort mit einer großen Gruppe ist und man vorher reserviert hat, wird am Abend Musik gespielt bei der man tanzen und die Seele baumeln lassen kann. Der Service ist freundlich und das Restaurant schön eingerichtet. Gerne wieder.

Das fleich fand ich ziemlich trocken genauso die Leber pommes waren in 2 Minuten kalt weil die Herrschaften im Winter noch nicht mal die Heizung andrehen und die Preise sind auch nicht gerade günstig durch das kalte im Restaurant ist natürlich sehr ungemütlich

Wir haben einen Geburtstag gefeiert. 34 Personen. Alles war sehr lecker, Essen, Wein. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Welche Musik sie auch wollten, sie tanzten bis 3 Uhr morgens. Jeder in unserer Gruppe hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns wie zu Hause fühlten! Vielen Dank für die Organisation unseres feier und das köstliche Essen und den Wein!

Echt ein Witz! Wir waren da auf einer Feier mit 30 Leuten. Das Essen ist mittelmäßig, griechische Fleischplatte - nur Lammrippe könnte man essen, Rest - trocken. Pommes sehr schlecht, entweder schlaberig oder ganz trocken. Wein - niedrigster Qualität. Ich würde in dieser Restaurant nie im Leben essen gehen.

Wir haben das Restaurant spontan besucht und haben sehr gut gegessen. Der Service war gut gewesen.

Einmal und nie wieder! Was ein Reinfall. Schlechtestes griechisches Essen, das wir je hatten. Und wir kennen sehr viele griechische Restaurants in ganz Deutschland. Fleisch total fettig und durchwachsen. Überwürzt, trocken. Mehr als der halbe Teller ging zurück. Wer 50 Euro in die „Tonne kloppen“ will, ist hier richtig. Sorry, aber einfac: zum K*****. Klar, dass die Inhaberschaft negative Kommentare nicht gern sieht. Dann muss man halt auch entsprechende Qualität liefern, so einfach ist das.
