The decor was illogically thrown together, the candle holders were heavily soiled on the inside, and as for the food: The fries were good, but the meat was way too tough/dry. The service, however, was great 👍

We eat Greek food very often in Germany and back home in the Netherlands, but this place is now our number one! The food is delicious and plentiful. The restrooms are clean. In few restaurants do the staff look so neat and tidy; those white shirts are spotless! We sat inside at our request, and the tables even have beautiful table linens, which is rare to find in a Greek restaurant these days. We will definitely be back.

Never again!! If you want to eat tasty gyros, you should definitely go somewhere else. The meat is tough and of poor quality, more undercooked than cooked, cut from the rotisserie way too early!! REASON: Guests don't want to wait, so you have to expect the meat to be imperfectly cooked!!

Highly recommended Greek restaurant. You can dine outside and inside. I visited Bad Zwischenahn today and dined at Akropolis in the evening. I received very friendly service, and the grilled meat was delicious. I sat outside. After I finished eating, the waiter asked me if he could show me the inside of the restaurant. So I got a little tour. Everything was really great there, and the customers were very friendly too. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll visit this Greek restaurant again 🙋

I'd also like to say something nice. :) On Saturday, I celebrated my birthday there with 11 people. We received a very warm welcome from the team. All my requests were met. The appetizer platters were beautifully prepared, and the subsequent à la carte meal was (as always) delicious. They asked me several times if everything was okay or if there were any requests. Overall, the service was incredibly good. At the end, there was a sweet 🍮 birthday surprise and a serenade from the team. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank you again! We'll be happy to come back.

Our first visit began with a friendly welcome. The starters arrived very quickly and were delicious. The saganaki was particularly noteworthy. The main courses arrived warm and beautifully presented. Tasty and well-portioned. The service was excellent and very attentive. We'll be back...the two from Mülheim.

For me, the Akropolis restaurant is one of the top addresses when it comes to Mediterranean food. The service is excellent, I feel at home there, a recommendation in every respect.

I was rather moderately enthusiastic today. In my opinion the fries were way too soft and the gyros had very fatty meat. When I asked the waiter about my criticism, it was only answered with an ironic comment. That doesn't feel so good as a guest and that's why I'll refrain from another visit. Anyone who asks must also be able to deal with criticism!

There is something for small and large

Full of good guests, full of nice staff, good food, everyone is very polite and simply top notch. I give it 5 stars because I had my ceremonial day there today. I thought everyone was nice and great and I would definitely miss out on any internship or work experience. I found it very nice and very fun to work at this restaurant and with all the people🤍

Didn't blow us away. Ambience: Seems a little loveless in parts. You can definitely upgrade something there. Food: Solid, but fairly mediocre compared to others in orienteering. Staff: very friendly in direct conversation, but otherwise very slow and inattentive. Went there with 6 people and only got 4 tickets. Other guests received a welcome ouzu, we didn't. Drinks were sometimes empty for a very long time without asking for anything new. Taking the order also took a long time. All in all a very simple Greek restaurant - unfortunately not enough for another visit.

Neben den auf den Punkt gebratenen Steaks gefällt uns auch die Gastfreundschaft des sympathischen und besonnenen Seniorchefs und seiner aufmerksamen Angestellten. Die langjährige Zugehörigkeit der Mitarbeiter vermittelt uns ein stimmiges Gefühl von Heimat und Vertrautheit, welches neben dem guten Essen immer wieder überzeugt. Well attended, friendly service. The food at our spontaneous stop was rather mediocre compared to other Greek restaurants, the meat skewer was too dry. But everything was edible, portion size and prices OK.

A true culinary experience! My visit to the Acropolis was simply fantastic. From the moment I entered the restaurant I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, just right for a relaxed evening. The food was incredible. Every dish was a treat, from the classic starters like tzatziki and saganaki to the delicious main courses like moussaka and gyros. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors perfectly balanced. You can tell that the cooking here is done with a lot of love and care. The service was first class. The wait staff was attentive, friendly and always there to make sure we didn't lack anything. The drinks menu also left nothing to be desired and offered a great selection of Greek wines and other specialties. A special highlight was the dessert – the homemade baklava was simply heavenly! I would highly recommend Acropolis to anyone looking for authentic Greek cuisine and an unforgettable dining experience. A visit here is like a culinary trip to Greece. I'll definitely be back!

Ein wahres kulinarisches Erlebnis! Mein Besuch im Akropolis war einfach fantastisch. Von dem Moment an, als ich das Restaurant betrat, wurde ich herzlich willkommen geheißen und fühlte mich sofort wie zu Hause. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und authentisch, genau das Richtige für einen entspannten Abend. Das Essen war unglaublich. Jede Speise war ein Gaumenfreude, von den klassischen Vorspeisen wie Tzatziki und Saganaki bis hin zu den köstlichen Hauptgerichten wie Moussaka und Gyros. Die Zutaten waren frisch und die Aromen perfekt ausbalanciert. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt gekocht wird. Der Service war erstklassig. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam, freundlich und stets zur Stelle, um sicherzustellen, dass es uns an nichts fehlte. Auch die Getränkekarte ließ keine Wünsche offen und bot eine tolle Auswahl an griechischen Weinen und anderen Spezialitäten. Ein besonderes Highlight war das Dessert – der hausgemachte Baklava war einfach himmlisch! Ich kann Akropolis jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach authentischer griechischer Küche und einem unvergesslichen Esserlebnis ist. Ein Besuch hier ist wie eine kulinarische Reise nach Griechenland. Ich komme definitiv wieder!

The fries were above average and didn't require any sauces or anything like that. Just enjoy pure 😌 The meat was grilled to perfection and the salad was fresh and crunchy. What would also be desirable is if the knives for meat were sharpened or if more special meat knives were added. Toilet is clean and overall you feel very comfortable. You can park on the side of the road if you drive into the side street. Unfortunately there are no parking spaces available. Or at least not enough. Guys, definitely eat here! P.S. Great food, good service, staff relaxed and friendly

The Greek with the best taste in the Oldenburg area. The preparation of the meat is also extraordinary. Unlike other Greeks, the meat here is very tender and not tough. Each dish comes with a coordinated sauce and delicious side dishes. The service is very competent and courteous.

I ate there with my wife on August 17th, 2024 and I have to say it was very tasty for us. On the recommendation of the nice waitress, I ordered curry with chicken fillet. The food was very tasty, generous portions and the price/performance ratio was right, except for the drinks like everywhere else. The service is always attentive and helpful. A highly recommended restaurant. You should definitely stop by if you are in the area. The service is very courteous and nice. The gyro plate is truly huge and extremely delicate, and the meat is particularly impressive.

The meat was too hard for me, but otherwise everything else was fine. It won't be my favorite restaurant but you can dine there.

We visited the restaurant based on the good reviews. The welcome was warm. When we were taken to our table there was a delicious ouzo. The food was a 10 out of 10. The portions were large and very very tasty. The restaurant is recommended. We were greeted warmly and would love to come back.

We have been regular guests for a long time and find it very comfortable here. The owner Abdul greets us right at the entrance and leads us to the table. The service is very good and the food is very tasty...what more could you want 😊

The food itself was okay, the waiting time was okay too. After we found two (!) hairs in the food while eating, in fairness the item on the bill was deleted and/or an alternative meal was offered. But the appetite was long gone, which is a shame. Instead of two, three 0.5 beers appeared on the bill. That's not fair... we weren't that happy :-(

Despite having a reservation, we still had to wait a good 35 minutes. Other guests were asked to sit at another table so we could all sit at one table together. We were there with the whole family. Organizationally it was a complete disaster. The food tasted very good, service was also friendly and apologized for the long wait.

Das Restaurant war gut besucht und so dauerte es etwa 30 - 40 Minuten, bis das Essen serviert wurde. Es war nett angerichtet und sehr schmackhaft. Alle Gäste unserer Gruppe waren mehr als nur zufrieden. Hier kann man sich wohlfühlen.

A Greek restaurant with an outdoor area where the food was very good. The robber plate was very good, but also too expensive (€26.90) in my opinion. At Athens there is a similar plate (Ouzo plate) for €17.90. The ambience could also be redesigned. One point deducted mostly for the high price.

We ate there with a larger group (including 2 smaller children). The service staff was super friendly and attentive, even with the little ones. The food was very tasty and filling. I can only recommend. However, for larger groups you should make a reservation.

Essen war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung sehr gut. Es wäre nett wenn es Seniorenteller geben würde, da man als ältere Person nicht mehr soviel isst. Man bekommt es eingepackt aber es schmeckt besser in der Atmosphäre des Restaurants.

Wir waren bei unseren bisherigen besuchen immer sehr begeistert. Leider war es gestern das komplette Gegenteil. Es kam uns vor als ob wir vom Service die ganze Zeit übersehen worden sind . Gäste die nach ins gekommen sind , haben ne halbe Stunde bevor wir unsere Getränke bekommen haben ihr essen schon bekommen. Und leider waren von 7 Gerichten 2 ungenießbar und 2 versalzen. Die anderen vier waren okay. Wir werden euch aber trotzdem weiterhin besuchen , und hoffen daß es nur ein "kleiner" Ausrutscher war.

Nicht das, was erwartet wurde Wir wollten unbedingt einmal das Restaurant ausprobieren, auf das wir durch das Barometer gestoßen sind. Als wir ankamen, mussten wir ziemlich lange warten, bis wir endlich einmal die Karte erhalten haben. Wer Fleisch in Mengen mag, ist hier sicher gut aufgehoben. Das Gyros war uns viel zu trocken, so dass wir bei jedem Bissen auch gleich etwas dazu trinken mussten. Als wir bezahlen wollten, mussten wir sehr lange warten, bis überhaupt jemand gekommen ist. Wenn wir nicht aufgestanden wären und dem Kellner gesagt haben, dass wir jetzt mal hinter ihm her laufen, damit wir endlich bezahlen können, hätte er uns wieder nicht beachtet. Auch wurde ein sehr großer Unterschied zwischen den Kunden gemacht. einige hatten einen Ouzo bekommen, andere nicht. Für uns ein nogo. Dieses Restaurant wird nicht zu unseren Favoriten zählen.

Akropolis ist seit langer Zeit das Stammlokal vieler Petersfehner und aus der Umgebung wenn es um griechische Speisen geht. Service: Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und beachtet auch Kleinigkeiten und verliert dabei auch den Humor nicht. Der Kunde ist hier wahrlich noch König. Ambiente: Das Ambiente ist im Hauptsaal mittlerweile etwas in die Jahre gekommen was dem ganzen aber auch ein gewissen Flair bietet. Der Außenbereich ist modernisiert worden und ist sehr einladend. Das Restaurant verfügt auch über eine Art neuer renovierten Bereich der auch ganz schön ist. Das Essen: Das Essen zeichnet sich vorallem durch das hervorragende Gyros, Bifteki und Reis aus. Welches ja auch irgendwo die Grundlage des ganzen bildet. Die Zutaten sind ausnahmslos frisch und die Portionen sind auch sehr groß. Ich komme gerne wieder

Das Restaurant lädt nicht nur zum Essen, sondern auch zum Genießen und regelrecht verweilen ein. Der Inhaber und das Servicepersonal sind äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, gut bekömmlich und von herausragender Qualität. Ich empfehle Schweinemedaillons jedweder Variation! Eines der besten Restaurants, in denen ich bis dato war.

Wir sind Stammgäste seit vielen Jahren, weil es hier immer ein gutes und abwechslungsreiches Essen gab. Leider ist jetzt eine Preisanpassung vorgenommen worden, die wir in dieser drastischen Höhe noch nirgends erlebt haben! Wenn man die ein oder andere kleine Schwäche, z.B. den nicht schmackhaften und mittlerweile veralteten Beilagensalat, mit bewertet, ist dieses Restaurant keine erste Wahl mehr. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses ist leider nicht mehr im Lot, sehr schade. Wir haben die Konsequenz gezogen und nutzen andere Alternativen – und davon gibt es im nicht allzu weiten Umkreis einige.
