The food has been unbeatable for years! Always hot and delicious. The portions are absolutely sufficient and the service is quick and always friendly. I mainly just sit in the winter garden because the modern ambience since the renovation seems unsuitable for a Greek restaurant. I liked the slightly dark and rustic one better before. Nevertheless, the food is great and I still like coming!

Food was good, we had chicken breast fillet with sauce. Our food had bones in it. We then had to wait another 40 minutes for our food to arrive. I'm not coming back 👍

We ate at Sparta today and were rather disappointed. The food is okay to very good (two opinions). But the whole ambience around it leaves a lot to be desired. It's far too loud, the mass processing means the waiters no longer notice you*, the modern interior doesn't suit a Greek in my opinion, the parking situation is a disaster. For me, a Greek is warm and cordial in his manner, attentive at all times and unfortunately that wasn't the case here today. *Our food was cleared away and from that point on we were basically dead. After 25 minutes of "ignorance" we asked for the bill independently.

Good food, the liver got better but the gyros got worse. Nice atmosphere, but you have to say that somehow everything has gotten worse. The service forgets food or drinks, you get an Ouso as compensation, but when 7 out of 8 people have finished eating and the food for the eighth person is still not there, very bad! The toilet facilities are clean, but nothing works!!! and something is temporarily put there. In addition, the toilet facilities are far too small for the large number of visitors!

Service doesn't speak German and the online menu doesn't match the one in the restaurant. Went to another Greek 😊

Sparta is our local bar. The food is always delicious, the service is friendly and familiar, the atmosphere is right and the atmosphere is always great. We especially like coming here in summer. You can enjoy the evenings in the summer garden with delicious food and a good wine.

The food was really great, the atmosphere was nice and the service was very nice. The only negative point: it probably took half an hour for our plates to be cleared away (and only when asked).

A really good restaurant. Prices, service and ambience are TOP. The restaurant continually invests in new equipment. The portions are tasty and more than sufficient. The atmosphere there is clearly above normal restaurant business. You always feel comfortable and welcome here.

SPARTA is the Greek restaurant if you want a great mix of classic Greek cuisine (such as lamb stifado) as well as modern new interpretations. I came on the recommendation of friends and my expectations were exceeded.

Personally, the location is a little too big and usually too crowded for me, but the food has always been very good.

After a long time we snowed in again and drove home satisfied. Interior has completely changed, very modern, a matter of taste. Food was great, stayed as usual... See you soon! 😊

Not recommendable…. The only positive thing is that the atmosphere is ok Service disaster: 25 minutes of waiting to be able to pay, even though there wasn't much going on. In addition, there was an unnecessary discussion, instead of apologies, because the desire to pay was often expressed. Price performance is very poor... meat partly raw (chicken), sauces over-salted... All in all a complete failure!

Unfortunately it has been reduced to a party bar. The ambience itself is nice, including the new outdoor area etc., but most of the upholstery here is already dirty. There hasn't been a welcome drink menu for some time now, and when you asked for one you were looked at stupidly. Yes, there's a reason... the drink prices are well above standard. We used to enjoy eating there for lunch and dinner. Unfortunately, the quality of the food has drastically decreased. We won't be going there in the future, also because the constant parties and drinking outside in the evenings are really annoying.

Almost only pork. Even the fries didn't taste good. The rice we tried was also bad. It is a mystery how the positive reviews came about.

Just too loud to eat in peace. Entertainment was very difficult.

Was there on a Thursday. What can I say?! Packed as always. Craziness. First there was grilled pepperoni with garlic. A treat and then sea bream with vegetables. Simply delicious and always worth a visit. Anyone who goes here will not regret it.

The food is great and plentiful! I also find the service to be very attentive and always friendly! But the prices have now really reached their limit! €6.10 for half a beer is like at Oktoberfest. The meals have now increased by another €2.50! It can hardly be due to the VAT, because when it was reduced the prices there didn't go down, they went up! All in all, it's still affordable for high-earning people, but it's no longer affordable for low-income earners! A pity !!

Atmosphere: Probably the largest Greek restaurant I've ever been to, so it doesn't create a warm atmosphere. On Saturday evening, there were a lot of people there, you had to wait a long time for the food... on the one hand, I understand that due to the number of people, the waiting time will be longer, but on the other hand, the restaurant/kitchen should be ready for it... it discourages me a bit from visiting this place again on the weekend, maybe it looks different during the week Service: very nice and fast, they are interested in whether everything is OK Food: I ordered a plate with fish... unfortunately I waited so long for the deep-fried fish, it was a terrible experience... my companions praised the food but I didn't try it so I can't comment.

It was okay but 70€ for two people so I'm out of it because we had to sit in the tent, the Greek in Schwanewede tries harder 😉

Today we wanted to try the lunch menu - the restaurant was well attended - the ambience has improved after the renovation, but is no longer Greek in character - the service left a lot to be desired (we got the menu ourselves after 10-15 minutes / it came In between, no one came to the table to ask us if everything was OK or if we had any further requests / the request for payment took 3 attempts before it was implemented) - the food was quantitatively too much > qualitatively it could have been more!

A classic and very good Greek. The dishes are delicious and very rich and, as is usual with the Greeks, with a lot of meat, most people don't manage their portions. There is the option to pack the rest. The friendly service brings Styrofoam containers. I lacked inspiration for a new cuisine with more vegetables. I question whether this restaurant is a good choice for vegetarians. There are of course some dishes, but the selection is very limited. Access is easy for wheelchair users, but the sanitary facilities are a bit narrow and not easy to reach. The restaurant is apparently also popular with families with children. In the main part of the restaurant the volume is OK. I find the acoustics in the extension tiring and far too loud for me. Usually large groups sit there. It is usually very busy and reservations are recommended. The parking situation is difficult, although the parking lot is very large. If I want to eat classic Greek again, I'll be happy to come back.

The atmosphere is no longer typically Greek but very modern and tasteful, I like it! We sat at the back in the “winter garden” (probably everything is open in the summer). I found the food delicious, prices (lunch) moderate, and the service very good. I'll definitely be back, so I highly recommend it!

Nice shop, service, okay. But cold dry gyros and Saganaki Tkware. We didn't like it. We didn't ask either, even though full plates were returned. The coleslaw isn't dressed at all and it wasn't our first time there. This can be done better.

Despite a reservation, we were immediately told that we had to order quickly because the kitchen closed at 8 p.m. on Friday evening. In my opinion, you shouldn't accept reservations anymore. Food was good, unfortunately we had a table right by the stairs, not so comfortable. The staff is really friendly, and even though it was so busy, you didn't have to wait long for your food.

They just walk around with some boxes. I ordered a cola and it was only brought to my 4th grade cousin after 20 minutes even though I ordered it. Actually I just wanted to complain that the 74 was brought without sauce

The best Greek far and wide. Since there is always a lot going on, I would definitely make a reservation. The food was delicious and the plate was lovingly prepared. We were there with 7 people, none of us had to wait long and the wait staff were all really nice and uncomplicated. We would be happy to come back and would recommend everyone to visit the Sparta restaurant.

Very good and rich lunch! We recommend! Addendum: The Gastrsum has been TOP renovated, the ambience invites you to linger and relax, making the good and rich food even more of a pleasure and experience. The prices remained reasonable for the food and service provided. Only the drinks are sometimes a bit overpriced (€5.50 for 0.5l of cola...well)...but that doesn't spoil the overall impression in any way! The very, very friendly and courteous service justifies everything and is worth highlighting! We'll definitely be happy to come back!!!! Stay as you are!! 👍👍👍

Unfortunately it is very loud and the khitaraki with beef sauce were okay, unfortunately there was only ground beef and no beef, as it should have been.

What do I expect from a good Greek? Delicious (meat-heavy) food and friendly people. That was absolutely a given in Sparta. The food including the starters was really good and very filling. The staff very friendly and attentive, but not intrusive. The restaurant is quite large (especially in the back). This means there is usually enough space for the next table. But it's still somehow comfortable. The access and parking are catastrophic. Not every car can tolerate such potholes. But if necessary you can also park on the street.

Very good greek food. Better than others I've tried in Bremen so far. I'd recommend it with moderate expectations.

Many friends are enthusiastic, but it was okay for me. The service was good, but I found the food overpriced and way too salty, even though I'm rather insensitive to that.

Went there for lunch. You have to wait a bit at the entrance and you will be seated (I only knew this from the evening service). Starter: grilled pepperoni with lots of garlic. Good. Very good salad side dish with tzatziki. Meat juicy. Large portion. Metaxa sauce was a bit lumpy (milk had separated = just good). I think Cola is expensive at €11 per liter for large glasses (€1 when purchased). But that's just a side note. Service friendly and quick. Will definitely come back.

It's been 2 weeks, but...... Without further ado, I ordered a sirloin steak with tortelloni and farmer's salad as well as champions and bernaise sauce. (Not always standard!) That was by far the best steak I've had in the last x years! This was helped by the fact that we were able to reserve a place at short notice (without that you have bad cards), the neighboring table who spread a good mood, and of course not forgetting our service. The food was very tasty! I was there for the first time. Overall, kind of disappointing. If an event such as a birthday or something similar is taking place today, it may be better to offer it in private. It felt like everyone was drunk, one bottle of alcohol after another was on the table. Of course you automatically become loud. The alcohol definitely had an effect. We would have liked to stay longer, but it got so loud that we left sooner. The guests definitely noticed that it was quite disturbing. This restaurant is definitely not recommended for people who want to entertain themselves. The potholes in front of the entrance to the parking lot should be urgently fixed. Someone who comes from out of town and doesn't know the restaurant rattles past it unconsciously. Pretty damaging to the car!!
