Griechisches Restaurant Kreta in Bremen

Went there because it was close to our apartment. Randomly... Were not disappointed! Top service and very good food. Any time ...

The food was great. I have rarely been as satisfied with the meat as I was in this restaurant. The staff was really friendly and also accepted special requests. We would love to come back and can only recommend it.

We must have had a bad day, judging by the other reviews. The wine bottle came to the table open and there was a wooden skewer on it to prevent the cork from falling. Why don't you open the bottle at the table? The starter was good, the tzatziki was very tasty, but unfortunately the main courses were not, the lamb fillet was unfortunately nothing, the gyros was very fatty, bifteki was ok, and the fillet was tough. The fries that came with it weren't really good either. After the meal we were asked how it tasted, when I wanted to say something, the waiter apologized, it was the last leftover gyro, he knows that shouldn't be right, etc. We were given a bottle of Retsina Malamatina as compensation, horrible stuff. Just made the evening worse.

We were served in a friendly manner, the food was very tasty and can be recommended without reservation. If we lived nearby, we would definitely become regulars!

Really nice restaurant, small but nice. I ate here on Sunday and everything tasted very good. The staff was very friendly and I didn't have to wait long even though the restaurant was full. Unfortunately I have to deduct one star because the Galaktoburiko wasn't that good.

Ate there for the first time today - picked it up to take away. Food was ready in 20 minutes, staff was super friendly, offered us an ouzo and food was excellent, especially the meat. Greeks often have grilled plates with very dry, sometimes over-fried meat. Everything here was juicy and well cooked. We had tzatziki with it, but we didn't need it at all. Definitely worth recommending.

Crete is always worth a meal. It tastes good, the employees are quick and friendly. The price:performance ratio is also very good. We always like to come back.

Super Essen und nette Atmosphäre

The three of us were here a few days ago. We were taken straight to our place in the winter garden, under the heaters it's bearable even in winter! The service was quick despite being busy! The food, especially the meat, was excellent. The rice could be a little softer and more tomatoey for my taste, but that's a matter of taste. The portions are great! Above all, the gentleman who wanted to pour more ouzo after the meal was friendly - warm and very hospitable! He made you feel very welcome!

Price/performance = top Even if you're hungry, you'll feel full

The best Greek in all of Bremen mega!!!

We received a very friendly welcome and felt welcome. That wasn't the case with the "Meteora" and "Acropolis". The food was fantastic and the staff was sooo attentive. We felt like we were in Greece again after the bad experiences in the above restaurants. Prices are reasonable. We'll definitely be back. Will be our new "regular Greek", even if the journey is a little further.

THE Greek in the Neustadt. The dishes offer all the well-known variations of the “Greek” restaurants in Bremen. Crete is also a real family business and it shows. Hospitality is a priority here. You quickly feel comfortable.

It was our first time eating in Crete. As soon as we asked about the drinks, it was clear that this would be a very cozy and nice evening. The restaurant and the staff radiate a lot of warmth and hospitality!!! The food was super delicious! The vegetables were lovingly and freshly prepared. Vegetarians don't miss out here either! The meat was juicy and served generously. For me the gyros was a highlight, unbeatably juicy!

We stumbled across this restaurant by chance due to an event nearby and were pleasantly surprised. We were able to get a table for 2 people at short notice at the weekend, the staff was very friendly and always there quickly and the food was delicious. Our special highlight was the starter platter with saganaki, as well as grilled pepperoni, eggplant and zucchini with a lot of garlic, both in terms of taste and portion size it was a 9.5/10, but we would have given ourselves a dollop for the full 10/10 Tzatziki requested. Nevertheless, we were thrilled and will definitely keep the restaurant in mind if we find ourselves in the area again.

🥳...Dear Mirco, we come from Spain and are visiting our sister in Bremen and were at your restaurant this evening! So, here we go, very simple and profane, once again it was simply great! The appetizer put together, awesome! The main courses in all variations of fish, meat and vegetables and various sauces with garlic, really amazing 🔨! Absolute recommendation for a Greek in Bremen, the service is super friendly and the food is very tasty. I had bifteki and gyros with rice (No.45). Uso is also ice cream chilled and very good. I haven't found a Greek yet who can hold a candle to this one

The food is huge in both portion and taste, the people are super friendly and ask if it tastes good. The food comes quickly even though we came without a reservation and everything is homemade (which you can taste). Try the tzatziki. 100%.

The two of us were here for the first time today. So the food was great all around! The meat was so tender, whether it was turkey or lamb. The prices are also really great because you really get a good portion. The host is very friendly. Wasn't our last time!

We have been guests of Mirko and his team for many years and are more than satisfied. The food is very tasty, the price/performance ratio is right and the atmosphere and ambience are more than warm. Some time ago we moved within Bremen and no longer live in the neighborhood. But we were greeted just as warmly today as we were two years ago and we really appreciate that. We will continue to enjoy going to the new town to eat at Crete :)

Our favorite Greek for over 10 years (even now that we haven't lived in the Neustadt for two years) we know each other, are warmly welcomed, served, fed, and Mirco, as the boss, still lends a hand and always comes back at the table for some small talk and creates a family atmosphere. Always my pleasure!

A restaurant that couldn't be more Greek. The staff is wonderful and always there for you when you need them. The atmosphere is incredibly inviting and you don't want to leave. Also great for family celebrations.

We can only recommend the restaurant. We had dinner with 8 people and we all loved it. Super friendly staff, fast food and good👍. A very attentive staff. Unfortunately we are not from Bremen, otherwise we would probably be regular guests.
