The food was very tasty, the potato slices were a bit too cooked and too crispy. Mixed starter plate was very tasty and varied. The homemade ice cream for dessert was also great. Price performance is okay.

We ate at this Greek restaurant for the first time and loved it! A very nice atmosphere, very attentive and nice staff and incredibly delicious food. The Metaxa sauce tastes different here, but in my opinion a thousand times better. My mother thought that her dish had potatoes because she didn't really want rice. I overlooked it, her mistake. Without asking, she was brought a portion of fried potatoes and they didn't appear on the bill!! Thank you for that !! We'd love to come back

I was there yesterday and took some food home with me. The food was excellent and very tasty! Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to the fact that there were French fries, which, in my opinion, don't go with Greek food at all. Next time I'll use rice instead of fries!

We were looking for a good Greek restaurant and came across Hermes. The atmosphere is something completely different, not typically Greek. We visited on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was busy. It was still possible to have a normal conversation without having to raise my voice. The service has the store under control very well, they are very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately I can only give the food five stars, I personally give you 10 stars. The meat was super juicy and crispy. Great quality. The side salad is also delicious. What I also really like is that it comes with tzatziki. We have ended our search here.

The location invites you to linger. The service and the dishes offered are excellent. The price-performance ratio is right here. If Olaf hadn't scolded him, the world would look different for many restaurateurs. - You can't complain here. The portions are more than sufficient, and if necessary you can have a little chips or rice served to the table. (My wife says, I'd rather get a relaxing wine). BUT: Pizza is at least three times better than any pizza service!! Thank you for your hospitality. It's always fun to try something new with you. And PS: Don't worry about the "negative reviews", many live in their bubble and want prices that were available in 2008.

Small restaurant but very good cuisine. Some unusual dishes like the Penne Giros with Metaxa. I just had to try it and it was really, really good. The atmosphere is not typically Greek. In general it was more like a merger thing. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any typical Greek wines. The staff was always friendly and made sure you were doing really well.

Too bad Hermes!!!! Everything was great before the renovation! Were completely satisfied! Now after the renovation it has become bad. It's loud like in a train station lobby, bad insulation (you can't relax) really bad. Food has also gotten worse! Suvlaki Bifteki way too hard! There's no more rice either, just fries and they don't taste good. It's a shame we've always been happy, but after renovation Hermes has gone bad. Now we have to look for another restaurant What a shame, what a shame. After the renovation there were already 2-3 × there, and it was too loud for everyone. Kind regards.

The shop itself is super nice, but has changed completely since the renovation, the bifteki was inedible and the souflaki was super dry :/ The best thing was actually the fries, the giro was ok... But you can definitely eat a plate of giro for 18 euros somewhere else

Yesterday I was unfortunately disappointed, I like to eat in the store and am always very happy... but yesterday I ordered something to take away and wanted to eat it at home and found that it was inedible. So the gyros was cold and simply inedible. No idea what was done with it. I have to throw the whole portion away.

We happened to end up at this Greek place on a Monday evening (according to the Universe). Was on the way and we were hungry. From the inside the shop looks very modern and less like the typical German Greek restaurant. When we arrived the shop was completely empty. The music was almost at disco volume...but we stayed anyway. Fortunately. Since we were basically alone, everything went really quickly and the taste was upscale Greek food. Baked gyros, bifteki, breaded chicken for the little one and fried baby squid for me. Everything is good, tasty and enough to fill you up. Of course there was also the obligatory ouzo.

Nice atmosphere, everything is new, even the toilets are clean and modern. The food was very good just a little bit. Service and price-performance ratio were also okay with room for improvement.

We have been regular customers at this restaurant for over 20 years. After the change of ownership, I was skeptical at first, but I realized that it stayed as good as it was and was adapted to the times. There is often a lot that goes on the plate. I even think the steak fries are tastier than the regular fries. Well, if there is too much, you can take it with you and pack it up. And if you prefer a smaller plate, you can also use a children's plate. You can put a lot of things together as you wish and have never had any problems. And if you eat a plate for 2 with 3 people, that's also possible. Prices have to be increased, especially since such a conversion costs money and in my opinion it turned out very nice. What I still really like are the niches and being alone, even if it's louder. And it is advisable to book a table on the weekend. I wish everyone bon appetit.

We ate here today for my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and the service was great. Unfortunately, the tables are so small that we had to eat separately (my parents had a plate and otherwise the plate would have fallen on my and my sister's laps while we were cutting). It's pretty sad when you have to eat your wedding anniversary meal separately from your guests . This has *NOTHING* of a celebration. We also communicated this, both the lack of space and the celebration, unfortunately there was no real willingness to remedy the situation. We have been visiting this restaurant for 25 years now, everything has been very nice, but today we had a very sad, disappointing evening here.

It was my first time in this Greek restaurant and I have to say that the first impression did not disappoint us... Great ambience, tasteful color scheme, attentive service and of course good food: the grilled chicken steaks were extremely tender and tasted good Voted. The sauce came in a separate bowl and the potato slices were fried to perfection. The only drawback: The side salad only consisted of coleslaw, 1 pepperoni and the obligatory onions: Please make improvements here.

After a long time we were at Hermes again. The food was great. We were even asked if the Giros should be crispy. Everything lovingly prepared. The restaurant has been renovated to the latest and most modern. The service is, as always, very courteous. We will be back.

The portions have become small, there are no longer any side salads and the seniors' plates have been completely eliminated. Prices have exploded. Never again HERMES! A disappointed visit with friends!

As a family we decided to eat there, but unfortunately we were disappointed from the start. The service was extremely poor - we were neglected and our table seemed almost forgotten. We weren't even offered bread for the starter because it was empty and the cutlery was completely missing. Disappointed by the poor experience and lack of service, we decided to leave before our mains were even served. In fact, my mother was so unhappy that she cried during family dinner. The atmosphere was anything but welcoming and only added to our discomfort. After such a disappointing experience it is unlikely we will ever return. I hope this review helps other potential customers make their decision and be aware that the atmosphere and service in this establishment is not up to expectations.

Freshly renovated, which was in order. Nice. But it is not appropriate that prices have been increased very sharply because of this. We won't eat there again, even if the food tastes good. It's simply become too expensive.

Higher prices, smaller portions. Is this how the renovation should be financed? It's a shame, but the price/performance ratio is no longer right: 18 euros for a (cold) gyro plate with a mini portion of tzatziki and fried potato slices from the bag. Tzatziki refills were just a matter of asking multiple questions. Tip: leave out the outdated custom of free ouzo before and after your meal - it's not a good idea anyway - and invest it in quality. It's a shame, we were there often. Today for the last time.

Food was very good and great quality. Nice service and very well attended, that speaks for itself. Unfortunately there were small problems and there were some delays. But it can happen sometimes, despite a successful evening and a great team. What's particularly good is that there's enough tzatziki on the menu, which justifies the price.

I just picked up food there for the first time worth €60 for two people. The entire mushroom cream sauce was missing from the schnitzel, which is very disappointing - no one wants a dry schnitzel. Drive another 20 minutes to the restaurant and let the food get cold was offered on the phone 👍🏼 but the food was really good, only the fries were very soggy.

Sehr traditionelles griechisches Lokal, mit sehr guten Speisen und einem freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort und werden wieder hingehen.

Zum Laden, ich finde es sehr dunkel. Das altmodische ist schön aber die Lichter machen nicht hungrig sondernd eher müde. Zum Essen, Ich hatte Leber. Die Leber war sehr blutig und sehr hart. Die paar Pommes waren zu wenig. Meine Tochter und ich hatten Ketchup bestellt es kam ein kleines Schälchen ohne Löffel. Fand ich nicht so praktisch, entweder zwei Portionen oder wenigstens ein Löffel zum Proportionieren da meine Tochter mir schräg gegenüber gesessen hat. Ich hatte eine Portion gebratene Zwiebeln bestellt die lecker waren aber doch etwas zu teuer. Zum Personal, Die Kellner sprechen sich nicht ab so kamen 3 Kellner während des Essens innerhalb von 5 Minuten im Wechsel. Schön wenn man sich erkundigt aber ich fand es unhöflich. Allgemein, Etwas schade fand ich, das es nicht mal ein ouzo gab, weder am Anfang noch zum Schluss. Alles zusammen gibt es knappe 3 Sterne. Wir waren das erst und letzte Mal dort. Ich kann es so nicht empfehlen.

Ich war zuletzt vor ca. 1 Jahr dort und diesmal enttäuscht! Das Essen war nicht gut, lieblos, null 8 fufziger Niveau. Die Kräuterbutter hatte mit Butter nur entfernt etwas zu tun und war extrem salzig. Preise angemessen, Service ganz gut. Ich werde aber den Griechen wechseln. Hat der Inhaber gewechselt ?

Die Ein oder andere Portion dürfte größer sein oder der Teller kleiner kleiner, damit die Portion größer wirkt. Der Service ist super, den typisches ouzo davor und danach gibt es natürlich auch!

Ich hatte das Vergnügen, das griechische Restaurant zu besuchen und war absolut begeistert! Das Ambiente ist charmant und einladend, mit einer warmen und freundlichen Atmosphäre. Das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend und aufmerksam, und der Service war ausgezeichnet. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch! Jedes Gericht, das ich probiert habe, war frisch zubereitet, voller Geschmack und von höchster Qualität. Die griechische Küche wurde hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail und traditionellen Rezepten zubereitet. Die Auswahl an Speisen war vielfältig und es gab für jeden Geschmack etwas Passendes. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die authentische Zubereitung der Speisen. Von den köstlichen Vorspeisen wie Tzatziki bis hin zu den Hauptgerichten wie Souvlaki und Moussaka - jedes Gericht war ein Genuss für die Sinne. Die Portionen waren großzügig bemessen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war ausgezeichnet. Auch die Getränkeauswahl war beeindruckend. Es gab eine breite Palette an Weinen und erfrischenden Cocktails, die perfekt zu den Speisen passten. Das Highlight meines Besuchs war zweifellos das freundliche und herzliche Personal. Sie waren stets bemüht, sicherzustellen, dass ich mich wohl fühlte und meinen Aufenthalt genoss. Ihre Kenntnisse über die griechische Küche und ihre Empfehlungen waren äußerst hilfreich. Insgesamt kann ich das griechische Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist der perfekte Ort, um authentische griechische Küche in einer angenehmen Atmosphäre zu genießen. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen, um weitere kulinarische Köstlichkeiten zu probieren!
