I recently visited Remos and was overall happy with the food. I particularly liked the pizzas and pasta. The pizza was really good – the dough was thin and crispy, the toppings were fresh and tasty. I had the Tonno and it was exactly what you would want it to be. The service was friendly and the atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant. It's definitely a good place to enjoy a meal.

Tasty but not cheap. But not unusual for Cologne. Get a spot in the carnival hustle and bustle in the afternoon.

Nice service and good food – with small drawbacks When I visited here, I was immediately pleasantly surprised by the customer welcome - very nice and helpful, especially on a Saturday evening without a reservation! The salad was crisp and varied, and the meat was fried to perfection. Unfortunately it was a bit oversalted, which affected the enjoyment a little. The waiters were still very friendly and competent, which made the evening more pleasant. Overall a good experience with small but fixable improvements.

Always in a good mood and friendly staff! They create a great atmosphere and it always feels very familiar there 🥰 I love being there and it's always delicious!!!

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 star) Disastrous service! There were five of us, but the table was only set for four. Drinks didn't come for ages, and when they finally did, they were poured on me and my friends - without apology! All I was offered as compensation was a shot of schnapps. My jacket was supposed to be cleaned but my whole outfit was wet and we were sitting at the cold entrance. A friend didn't get her food at all and the staff didn't even notice. The waiter then also hit on me unpleasantly. Only after a lot of begging did I not have to pay for my drinks. Absolutely unacceptable!

I don't understand how you can be so restricted. We made a reservation and have to wait 20 minutes. Then we are seated at the dirtiest table in Cologne. The pizza comes completely wrong and the drink doesn't come at all

My wife and I went to the restaurant for the first time today. The restaurant itself is very clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly. The drinks and food we ordered were served quickly. We didn't have to wait unnecessarily long. The food we ordered (pasta dishes and starters) was well prepared. Big compliments to the kitchen. We will definitely eat there again in the future.

Tried it last night on recommendation! It was full and there were no seats available, but the service/operations manager very kindly asked us to wait at the counter for a few minutes and then we would be seated. It actually worked very well! The atmosphere is nice and serves its purpose! It's a little louder and similar in principle to Losteria, but it has a big difference! At Remos you have top service that is also very attentive! There is delicious Kölsch (Gaffel) on tap and what is absolutely rare is that the Kölsch is left for a longer time (sat directly opposite the counter) and the crown is gone, the Kölsch doesn't go out like 98% of the time in other places, but gets a new one Crown and then goes straight out! Absolutely top! Food: Small but great card! Caesar salad with chicken breast was absolutely top! Pizza Funghi/Prosciutto was also very, very good and XXL in size, you should be aware of that when ordering. 😂 The service was 1a and our lady from the service was outstanding, friendly, always smiling and attentive! Just great. But the overall service was very good and on point, despite the high occupancy! We would like to highlight the service/operations manager! Always friendly and he had "everything" in mind, which was actually hardly possible given the size and the high volume. Sensational, one can only say that the good man lives gastronomy and we could feel that in small conversations! Simply perfect, you have to admit it! Conclusion: We felt at home and ate and drank very well. The nice lady from the service rounded it off! It will be a new permanent hotspot for us and yes, even though it is not a fine dining restaurant! Thank you for the great evening!

I was really disappointed! The service was absolutely bad - unfriendly, slow and hardly helpful. We had to wait forever to even be served and the waiter hardly seemed to notice us. The food was also a disaster. The pasta was neither fresh nor tasty, and the sauce was just plain bland. For what you get here, the prices are completely exorbitant. The extra charge for a tiny side dish is just cheeky. Definitely not a recommendation!

Although there were still seats available at the front of the restaurant, our group was banished to the back of the restaurant and forgotten. Our order was only taken half an hour after we asked. Later that evening we were herded back to the front of the restaurant only to be pressured into paying. Really underground service :(

Remos is a very good restaurant. Everything was right! The employees are very cool and the food came very quickly and was very tasty! We were very happy with everything and would always recommend it to others.

The service was quick and the atmosphere was really nice and cozy. What was particularly great was that our special requests were taken into account without any problems. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!

Unfortunately the boss is very unfriendly and that unfortunately reflects on the staff.

Not bad but also nothing special. Good place to talk to friends in, as you mostly find larger groups of friends and peers there. Food is ordinary but solid. Vegetarian options. Nothing clearly labeled as vegan.

It's actually rare to be disappointed here. The quality is good and is ongoing :) the pizzas are nice and crispy and always satisfying! Classic meeting place for friends.

Despite the restaurant being full, we got a table for 4 without a reservation. Waiters were very friendly and accommodating. We didn't have to wait long and it was delicious. I can't understand the bad reviews and I know what I'm talking about because I've been a restaurateur for 16 years. We'll definitely be back.

Really great shop! Super tasty food and the service was A1. Finally a shop in Cologne that is child-friendly. Our waiter was very attentive and the service was really unusually good. We had two small children with us, but we were still given a warm welcome and everything possible was done to ensure that they both felt comfortable. Unfortunately a rarity in Germany! We would love to come back and can only wholeheartedly recommend the shop.

Very large pizzeria in the middle of this street full of various varied restaurants. Some evenings it is full and there is a wait to get a table. Great service from a dynamic team, more or less friendly, it depends on who you come across! Huge pizzas that overflow from the plate, various pastas, fairly short but sufficient menu, fair prices. A lot of people pass through this restaurant and the pace is fast! A good address.

A very busy restaurant and therefore it is either better to reserve or wait for a table to become available. In terms of servers, some very nice, others a little less... In terms of dishes, it's good. The pizzas are thin and huge, they all exceed plates and it is difficult to finish, but they are very good. After that, no need for dessert. Prices not very excessive. You can go there without any problem and especially if you can tolerate the noise of the chicken coops 😅

The salad was delicious, but the pizza was completely oversalted. When we asked the waiter about it, he briefly went into the kitchen and came back with the words "we always make it like that" Service overall very bad: - hardly speak any German - didn't apologize for the over-salted pizza, let alone offer a replacement - all drinks were empty and no one asked if we would like to drink anything else.

Bruscetta was completely soggy and my meat wasn't medium rare even though it was ordered that way. Both the staff and the owner were unfriendly, bitchy and unable to criticize after emails and calls, simply ridiculous. The fact that no prices can be found online is not illegal, but also an absolute no-go. Certainly never again, such practices are not supported.

Been here during DigitalX. That was probably the reason why the waiters were overwhelmed (waited over 20 minutes for drinks despite table numbers being put on the table). It was very busy... Unfortunately, eating was not possible during our time due to a break. However, the team/employees were cooked and they were allowed to eat together at the same table... nice atmosphere. You should probably reserve in advance... Service could be improved, although there were enough staff on site, but they may have been new or not yet motivated enough...

Pizza convinced us. Quality ingredients, well baked. The tiramisu is amazing. Additionally, a big compliment that there is a decent carbonara here. Remos is absolutely recommended.

Not good at all. The three of us ate there and unfortunately it confirmed exactly what we saw about "my local, your local". Pizza was soft and the dough was torn everywhere from all the oil, the noodles were overcooked and soaked in cream. Unfortunately not a successful visit. Bruscetta was great, the pizza was ok, but the lasagna was small, burnt and unfortunately tasted bad. The tone of the service was rather abrupt, although not rude, and all “service tasks” were basically completed. Unfortunately our last visit.

Clear recommendation. The employees were all very nice and attentive, kept an eye on all the tables and were with us regularly, but without imposing themselves. The food was served extremely quickly (waiting time <15 minutes) and was very tasty. The ingredients and workmanship make a high-quality impression, we were absolutely satisfied. The same applies to the drinks, the aperitifs came 3 minutes after ordering, you can't serve them any quicker. Here too, everything was attractively presented and delicious. We paid around €65 for two aperitifs, two drinks and two pizzas. I wouldn't exactly call that cheap, but for the quality and service I think the prices are absolutely justified. Therefore I can only give a clear recommendation here!

Extremely disappointed with this restaurant! We were served by a waiter who was as unfriendly as possible. No effort to understand (even though we are tourists who speak German) and a nonchalant attitude! He urges us to leave even though the restaurant is almost empty! Hastens to collect the money, showing us the bill extremely quickly and without showing the amount on the TPE! Obviously he doesn't give the ticket and leaves right after! Truly deplorable! In terms of cooking, the dish was good, but the bacon was overcooked. In short, I don't recommend it at all given the attitude of the waiter.

Dominik is the best service person in Cologne! I had a pizza and it was not only really tasty but was also huge! We were served by Dominik and I don't think anyone has ever been so friendly!!! looked after us like he did! At this point 5 stars go to Dominik, who is why I'm writing a review in the first place :) There is also a really nice, quiet courtyard at the back where you can sit when the weather is good, highly recommended!
