Great location. Traditional. Food excellent. What is special is that there is a wheelchair toilet. Very easy to reach with a wheelchair.

We sat down with a group of five in the early afternoon. Around us were two loud groups, served by two waiters. We were completely ignored by the waiters, none of them came to us for 25 minutes. We were well dressed, there was also a 10-year-old child among us. How can this happen? We ended up leaving disappointed. Of course we will not return.

Traditional, extremely authentic and cozy Bavarian inn, excellent home-style food, almost everything is homemade. It doesn't get much better than that. This is unusual these days and you can really taste it. Attentive male service (was appreciated with a €6 tip). Accordingly, the store is running and seems to be full every evening. It's not cheap, but it's better that way than this remnant of German pub culture disappears and the 118th kebab shop comes in.

I had the duck, unfortunately the bird was in the oven for too long, the meat was dry and hard. The sauce was too salty. This salt was missing from the dumplings, unfortunately not edible. The red cabbage tasted best.

The bossy demeanor of the older waitresses is repulsive and impudent. The food is below average. The cheese spaetzle was watery, the red cabbage tasted like cheap lard, and the potato dumpling wasn't cooked through yet.

3 days Regensburg - 3 times Kneitinger! Nothing more needs to be said! The Bräustüberl is highly recommended for eating and drinking. "Deduction" the Gröstl was "out" and no longer available on any day... "sniff"! ;)

Rustic restaurant in the old brewery. Ox cheeks stand out, melt in your mouth, knuckles crispy in beer sauce, all served quickly and hot, with a dark Kneitinger. Heart, what more do you want?

This traditional place has obviously been serving good beer since the Middle Ages, which also benefits a good cause. I tried the dark beer and tolerated it excellently. The lively team spreads a good atmosphere and invites you to linger.

Delicious! Tender meat and enough sauce, portions are large and the crust was just perfect.

Service was quick, after 10 minutes everything was served. Food is traditionally Bavarian and delicious.

Very nice inn, the food was really tasty, especially the ox cheeks. What is unfortunately objectionable is the understaffing in the restaurant and the resulting stressed staff. I waited about 45 minutes for my drink. Generally recommended if it's not that crowded.

The taste of the food was okay. From the time we ordered until the food (pork knuckle with dumplings and roast ox with dumplings) was brought to us, less than 5 minutes had passed. For me it had the feel of a canteen and there was no feeling of coziness. Restaurant was well attended

Very original restaurant with good flair. We were there around 8:30 a.m. and I had pork knuckles. The taste was very good, but the meat was a bit firm. My wife had ox cheeks, which were a bit slimy, but also cooked well. But overall a great pub

The service was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food wasn't the same. The Wiener Schnitzel too thick and without bubbles. The Kaiserschmarren wasn't that tasty either. The Hugo a little too sweet. The atmosphere is just that of a tavern. Very loud.

Unfortunately I can't agree with the good reviews here. We were at Kneitinger yesterday. The food was okay, but unfortunately not seasoned enough for the price. The desserts are so sweet that you can hardly eat them. We had the apple kiachl, which disappeared under a thick sugar crust. The artificial strawberry sauce topped it all off and the homemade ice cream didn't skimp on sugar either. My highlight was the missing changing table, which is why I had to change my baby on the floor of the stairwell. An absolute no-go!

The atmosphere is pleasantly rustic. You sit very comfortably and feel good. You will receive very good and friendly service. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The price-performance ratio is more than given! A clear recommendation for good home cooking!

Delicious food and cold beer. If you’re going with another person I highly recommend splitting the ochsenbraten in dunkel-biersoße and kasespatzle. Both are amazing and pair together nicely

This is my first time eating German food that isn't salty. I'm really good at cooking Atmosphere at a reasonable price If you come to Regens, you must have dinner and beer here. For Korean adult men, one menu per person is enough to fill one's stomach. (I should have ordered only Haksen..)

Rustic side rooms and large “hall”. The waitress managed to take away the anticipation of the meal. The food came far too quickly to be freshly prepared. And finally, “magically friendly” service. If it weren't for the dialect, it could have been in Berlin.

It is a traditional brewery in the city. It's worth visiting. The place doesn't have many attractions, but it has a different atmosphere. The beers are good. Clean, adequate service, I recommend it for beer lovers.

This also applies to the composition of the dishes on the menu. The service was friendly and polite. And we really liked the atmosphere. If I lived in Regensburg, I would go to Kneitinger every week. The lunch menu was also fairly priced. Gladly again and really recommended!

Very tasty food and good service! Kneitinger in Regensburg is always worth a visit. Have been there a few times and have never been disappointed!

Unfortunately we can't rate the food, it didn't get that far. At first the service was pushy and it couldn't be quick enough, when we wanted to make it easy for her and asked for a recommendation she couldn't give a recommendation. When we looked at the menu again and put it aside and signaled both verbally and with a hand signal that we wanted to order, we were ignored and the ladies preferred to talk among themselves. When we paid and I explained to the lady that when the guest puts the card aside it is ready to order, she just frowned. Card payment is not possible.

Very tasty food. The service was excellent, attentive, kind and quick. We didn't have to wait long for our food. We would definitely come back.

I love the typical Bavarian food and especially the unsurpassed Kneitinger beer. But. The kitchen closes at 2:30 p.m. and anyone who arrives at 2:22 p.m. is out of luck. The store is doing well as it is appears. Sales aren't that important.

Traditional inn with its own brewery in the heart of the old town. Anyone visiting Regensburg should stop at the “Knei” at least once and enjoy the good beer and delicious, down-to-earth food. Not a fancy one, locals and tourists share the tables and have a good time. The service is quick and not in your face, as it should be. Parking is a bit of a matter of luck, preferably in the parking garage at the theater or by public transport into the city, then it can be a lot more ❤️🍺🍺🍺🍺

This brewhouse was recommended by a local friend and I'm so glad I asked her. We really enjoyed our lunch here! We arrived around 12.30 pm on a Saturday without a reservation and thankfully, there was plenty of room! The service was very friendly and quick. The food was delicious and abundant + priced quite reasonably. Wifi for payment with card is not great, so it's helpful to have cash on hand, just in case. The whole experience felt very authentic and not touristy at all - exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant is about 20 min walk from the train station and then it's super close to all the sights of this beautiful town. Lunch at this brewhouse was an awesome start of our visit!

Dear restaurant owners, you should urgently have a word with the waitress with the short pink hair. She can be very unfriendly. Food was good, but carelessly prepared. I think they only specialize in tourists here. There is little value placed on regular customers, which is probably why the sometimes biting tone and biting comments, sometimes sarcastic, come from this waitress. Traditional restaurant with cult character in Regensburg. Unfortunately I have to deduct stars due to the prices. I would say that the prices are now exceeding limits for me personally. I find the roast pork for just under 20 euros ambitious. This is cheaper even in Munich.
