Wonderful, rustic brewery bar, delicious beer, hearty Bavarian dishes.

We actually just wanted something to drink and decided to eat because of the coziness of the house and the friendliness of the staff. We couldn't have made a better choice. Food was extremely delicious! Only recommended!!!

The food was excellent home cooking, the meat was tender and buttery (ox cheeks and plate meat), and the side dishes were delicious. Even though we were very stressed, the service was always friendly and accommodating. We always enjoy eating at Kneitinger and we would of course be happy to come back. It is our favorite restaurant in Regensburg.

Nice Bavarian eatery, lots of places to sit. Waitress was super nice and quick. I only went to the toilet briefly and I got there, my beer was already on the table and after a minute my food arrived. Both super tasty. The fact that so many people from Regensburg come to eat there also speaks for itself. Really worth visiting.

Everything you would expect in a traditional restaurant, lots of guests, good food, good beer and good entertainment

It was busy while we were there, however, we had to wait quite awhile for food and were not checked on for drink refills. After the meal we waited approximately 15 minutes while attempting to get the attention of the waitress who had too many tables. Then another wait to pay. The food was excellent and we loved the building and decor. It is not handicap accessible and the restroom 🚻 is downstairs making it also not accessible for people with mobility issues. No room for a wheelchair. Please improve on being more accessible.

Very pleasant atmosphere, the service was great. Food was at the table quickly and tasted really good. We were there with around 90 people and it still ran like clockwork. A real Boarisch tavern, just like this ghead. When I'm back in Regensburg, I know where I'm going to eat. Keep it up.

Rustic location. Despite a few mishaps, the service was always friendly and accommodating. There was also a constant coming and going of guests. The restaurant was always full. The waiting times were kept within limits. The food was very good. I'd love to come back.

A must in Regensburg is beer A1, the menu leaves nothing to be desired

Great location. Traditional. Food excellent. What is special is that there is a wheelchair toilet. Very easy to reach with a wheelchair.

We sat down with a group of five in the early afternoon. Around us were two loud groups, served by two waiters. We were completely ignored by the waiters, none of them came to us for 25 minutes. We were well dressed, there was also a 10-year-old child among us. How can this happen? We ended up leaving disappointed. Of course we will not return.

I had the duck, unfortunately the bird was in the oven for too long, the meat was dry and hard. The sauce was too salty. This salt was missing from the dumplings, unfortunately not edible. The red cabbage tasted best.

The bossy demeanor of the older waitresses is repulsive and impudent. The food is below average. The cheese spaetzle was watery, the red cabbage tasted like cheap lard, and the potato dumpling wasn't cooked through yet.

Traditional, extremely authentic and cozy Bavarian inn, excellent home-style food, almost everything is homemade. It doesn't get much better than that. This is unusual these days and you can really taste it. Attentive male service (was appreciated with a €6 tip). Accordingly, the store is running and seems to be full every evening. It's not cheap, but it's better that way than this remnant of German pub culture disappears and the 118th kebab shop comes in.

A hearty, large restaurant in the middle of Regensburg with a long tradition. A MUST for every visitor to Regensburg. Good portions, everyone gets enough here.

3 days Regensburg - 3 times Kneitinger! Nothing more needs to be said! The Bräustüberl is highly recommended for eating and drinking. "Deduction" the Gröstl was "out" and no longer available on any day... "sniff"! ;)

Rustic restaurant in the old brewery. Ox cheeks stand out, melt in your mouth, knuckles crispy in beer sauce, all served quickly and hot, with a dark Kneitinger. Heart, what more do you want?

This traditional place has obviously been serving good beer since the Middle Ages, which also benefits a good cause. I tried the dark beer and tolerated it excellently. The lively team spreads a good atmosphere and invites you to linger.

Delicious! Tender meat and enough sauce, portions are large and the crust was just perfect.

Mediocre microbrewery…money is better spend elsewhere…also it was not mentioned anywhere but min spending by card is 20 euro…you have been warned

A brewery house with very good beer and very rustic Bavarian food. Very nice atmosphere to spend the evening. Best beer, and as I said, original Bavarian food.

The taste of the food was okay. From the time we ordered until the food (pork knuckle with dumplings and roast ox with dumplings) was brought to us, less than 5 minutes had passed. For me it had the feel of a canteen and there was no feeling of coziness. Restaurant was well attended

Very nice inn, the food was really tasty, especially the ox cheeks. What is unfortunately objectionable is the understaffing in the restaurant and the resulting stressed staff. I waited about 45 minutes for my drink. Generally recommended if it's not that crowded.

Traditional brewery inn on the edge of the old town... I tried the beers made in-house... there's light (Heller Hans), pilsner and dark... plus hearty Bavarian cuisine... it couldn't be better...

Food was very good, friendly service with humor and no long waiting times. Even on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. we had no problem getting a table without a reservation.

Unfortunately we were served very unfriendly and were charged 5 euros too much when paying. It doesn't have to be anymore, it's a shame.

A quaint restaurant that consists of several rooms. The food can come very quickly. My half knuckle was very tasty. Unfortunately the sauce was very tasteless and the dumplings didn't taste like much either. My partner had very tasty cheese dumplings. Very tasty in combination. A rather neutral review from me. Given the large selection here, I wouldn't come back. There are so many other great restaurants locally.

Very original restaurant with good flair. We were there around 8:30 a.m. and I had pork knuckles. The taste was very good, but the meat was a bit firm. My wife had ox cheeks, which were a bit slimy, but also cooked well. But overall a great pub

The service was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the food wasn't the same. The Wiener Schnitzel too thick and without bubbles. The Kaiserschmarren wasn't that tasty either. The Hugo a little too sweet. The atmosphere is just that of a tavern. Very loud.

Unfortunately I can't agree with the good reviews here. We were at Kneitinger yesterday. The food was okay, but unfortunately not seasoned enough for the price. The desserts are so sweet that you can hardly eat them. We had the apple kiachl, which disappeared under a thick sugar crust. The artificial strawberry sauce topped it all off and the homemade ice cream didn't skimp on sugar either. My highlight was the missing changing table, which is why I had to change my baby on the floor of the stairwell. An absolute no-go!

The atmosphere is pleasantly rustic. You sit very comfortably and feel good. You will receive very good and friendly service. The food is freshly prepared and tastes great. The price-performance ratio is more than given! A clear recommendation for good home cooking!

Delicious food and cold beer. If you’re going with another person I highly recommend splitting the ochsenbraten in dunkel-biersoße and kasespatzle. Both are amazing and pair together nicely

This is my first time eating German food that isn't salty. I'm really good at cooking Atmosphere at a reasonable price If you come to Regens, you must have dinner and beer here. For Korean adult men, one menu per person is enough to fill one's stomach. (I should have ordered only Haksen..)

Rustic side rooms and large “hall”. The waitress managed to take away the anticipation of the meal. The food came far too quickly to be freshly prepared. And finally, “magically friendly” service. If it weren't for the dialect, it could have been in Berlin.

It is a traditional brewery in the city. It's worth visiting. The place doesn't have many attractions, but it has a different atmosphere. The beers are good. Clean, adequate service, I recommend it for beer lovers.
