Simply iconic...A traditional pub as it should be. Delicious food, delicious beer, rustic atmosphere, superb service.

We were passing through and wanted to eat Bavarian food. The food at the Kneitinger brewery was delicious. We really enjoyed it. Large portions and short wait time. Friendly service.

Delicious beer and food. The dark beer and roast pork were divine. The veal sausages and braised ox cheeks were also very tasty. They even cater to individual requests. For example, the sausages came with a still-warm potato salad. The potato dumplings and red cabbage were also excellent. I'll definitely be back; I still need to try everything on the menu. So far, I've been extremely satisfied.

The overall environment was okay, except the waiters seemed to sense we weren't German; their German wasn't very good and they seemed quite rude, but they smiled at German customers. I wanted to tip, but my wife said the service was so bad it wasn't necessary. The food was average, nothing special. Without a reservation, you might have to wait.

There were four of us for dinner. It was difficult to find a free table, but we had called ahead to make a reservation – unfortunately, no one answered. The waiter was unfriendly and kept raising his eyebrows. The food was tasty, but German cuisine still isn't my favorite. It's a typical tourist spot – the portions aren't very large. The pork knuckle was delicious and crispy. In the end, the waiter waited for a tip, but I didn't give one because he was so unfriendly – ​​even though I usually tip everywhere.

A very authentic, traditional inn in Regensburg's old town. Extremely friendly service, good menu, short waiting times. We had a reservation as it was very busy with regulars and tourists. High chairs available, standing room at the entrance, clean restrooms, and parking garages nearby. Highly recommended.

We visited this cozy inn twice during our stay in Regensburg. It boasts excellently brewed beer, friendly service, and a varied menu (Sauers Lüngerl!). We were very satisfied, as were the many Regensburg residents who enjoyed themselves in the cozy dining room.

A beautiful old pub. You don't have to wait long for service. The food arrived very quickly after ordering and tasted really good. But the best part, of course, is the beer, which tastes great and is truly enjoyable.

I was there one weekday morning. For me, it was an oasis of peace and relaxation. A particular highlight is the dark beer from Kneitinger.

Sometimes it's a bit loud due to the large number of customers. It's a typical inn. I like it here. A quick tip: if you have a voucher, let them know beforehand. Once the receipt is printed, you can't get rid of it.

It was a cozy, rustic affair. We happened upon the 75th tapping of the ram by chance. It was worth it; the atmosphere was unique, and brass bands celebrated the tapping. We loved the mood and the atmosphere. This won't be our last visit. 😃

The restaurant is very popular and therefore quite full even during the week. For romantic conversations with friends, you should choose other restaurants, it is quite noisy here. Prices are reasonable and portions are also for big eaters.

A wonderful, quaint Bavarian restaurant in the heart of Regensburg. I go there every time I visit home. The portions are generous, but not so much that you're completely overeaten. The staff is also very attentive and friendly. The dog is always welcome, and occasionally gets a cuddle or a greeting from the kitchen staff.

Bought some delicious beer at the pub today. Unfortunately, it seems like you have to pay attention to the expiration date. Expired beer straight from the brewery. That's something.

We wanted a place for two people. The staff weren't accommodating or friendly. "Do you have a reservation? We don't have any space!" All in all, disappointing.

It's not possible to pay by card, I spent half an hour going to ATMs. Even at Dulta in a tent it's possible!

Wonderful cheese spaetzle, a fresh, hearty side salad, all so delicious, accompanied by a non-alcoholic wheat beer. Friendly service from a lady with a pleasant foreign accent. The unemployed, old, plump waitress was irritating. She sat down with three customers and spent 20 minutes complaining about her colleagues, finding nothing good, and having little knowledge of anything, such as how to use credit cards and the taxation of tips. Only when her junior manager came by and asked her to get to work did things calm down.

Everything here is very well-preserved, and you can see what it used to be like from the pictures on the walls. I have to say, even by Bavarian standards, I've rarely experienced such an unfriendly, unpleasant waiter - it was unacceptable! There were 11 of us there, and despite the restaurant being almost empty, we couldn't get a table where we could all sit, so we had to split up, which isn't exactly the point of a company outing. The food was just okay, but nothing more. The side salad was practically swimming in salad dressing, which is why the waiter almost spilled it all over my blouse. Luckily, there was only a puddle of salad dressing (which, of course, wasn't mopped up) next to our table. My vegetarian colleagues had a hard time finding something to eat, as the menu is extremely meat-heavy. This isn't unusual for a Bavarian restaurant, of course, but they could have at least made the effort to include a vegetarian section on the menu, even if it only featured very few dishes. The lunch menu is only valid until 1:30 PM, and there's only one lunch dish per weekday, usually not vegetarian-friendly. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of alternatives nearby, and I wish we'd chosen one of them!

Very good traditional food, the meat was tender and well-seasoned, and the Käsespetzle (cheese dumplings) were fresh and homemade. The food didn't take long to arrive. All requests were taken into account and fulfilled. A great location, rustic and stylish, absolutely worth a visit if you're in Regensburg or the surrounding area.

From Germans to the world: The ambiance is pleasant; you can either sit in a glass-roofed "side alley" or in a rustic Bavarian-style setting. Whenever we go to the theater in Regensburg, a visit to Kneitinger is a must before or after. It's a traditional inn. Rustically furnished. The service is hearty and friendly, Bavarian. The beer is delicious, and the food is tasty. One of the few places that still serves spleen sausage or sour lüngerl (a kind of sausage with a sauerkraut). Or sometimes other offal. The prices are reasonable. We feel at home.

Great brewery with delicious food, but service could be improved. The Kneitinger is a beautiful, traditional brewery with an authentic atmosphere. The food was consistently delicious and the prices were reasonable. A particularly positive aspect: Even with a larger group, we managed to get a table spontaneously without any problems – that's certainly not a given. Unfortunately, the service was less convincing. Our waitress, Aurora, was noticeably unfriendly and seemed uninterested. The rest of the team barely said a friendly word either – overall, we felt more like a nuisance than a welcome. It's a real shame, because the food and ambiance are top-notch. With a little more cordiality in the service, the Kneitinger would be a real favorite for future visits.

On Saturday evening (VfB Stuttgart's cup match against Arminia), we had reserved a table at the quaint Kneitinger brewery restaurant. Everything worked out perfectly: a table with the best view of the TV, friendly service, and delicious food. Those who prefer a more sophisticated and perhaps quieter atmosphere should probably look elsewhere; for us, it was the perfect location that evening.

I remember this restaurant from earlier. The food is still good, but my only criticism is that it comes very quickly. That is, everything is prepared a long time ago and served immediately.

A beautiful, quaint, yet cozy Wietshaus restaurant that offers plenty of room for hungry guests. Slightly high prices, but still normal for Regensburg.

Three of us came here for lunch on a Sunday and got a table without a reservation. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and creamed savoy cabbage, everything well seasoned and very tasty! Thanks to the waitress who looked after us so well.

Robert and all the service staff at Kneitinger are top-notch! I personally love the place! And the beer (Edelpils) is the best in the entire city.
