I came in here and, since I was having problems with my leg, I lifted it onto the chair, and the waiter came and looked at me so aggressively, as if I didn't know what I had done.

The food was not good; the schnitzel was cooked without mustard in old fryer oil.

We went to the Weissbräuhaus Regensburg for a traditional Bavarian white sausage breakfast and were completely satisfied. We were served a pair of white sausages with a fresh pretzel and a wheat beer – all very tasty and of good quality. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We particularly liked the rustic-modern ambiance, which perfectly suits the concept of the establishment. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely reasonable. Overall, a very successful visit that we would gladly recommend.

We were able to reserve a table online on the same day and had a lovely meal. Our food and drinks arrived very quickly, and the waiter was very friendly. The food was delicious and the price was absolutely reasonable. Everything tasted great, whether it was the schnitzel, creamed mushrooms, or the Regensburg sausages. A highly recommended restaurant!

A truly excellent restaurant. We were passing through Regensburg and stopped here. The food is really very good. Cooked to perfection! The snacks are also very tasty. The light beer and the wheat beer are very refreshing. The service was friendly, and the food arrived within 30 minutes. Very cozy atmosphere.

We held our Christmas party here. Mr. Endler provided excellent support with the organization beforehand. Everything was arranged to our complete satisfaction. The tables were beautifully set. The selection of drinks was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious. The whole team was thrilled and had a wonderful time. Simply a perfect celebration.

Great place if you don't like draft beers. The copper wheat is delicious, and so are the dishes. The price-performance ratio is okay. Fast, friendly servers. We'll stop by again next time we're here. The two-liter beer mug filled with copper wheat turned out to be an excellent gift.

Everything was very nice, the food was excellent, the beer was good and cold!

After our city tour on the tourist train, we went to redeem our coffee vouchers. The staff was incredibly unfriendly and seated us in the far corner at the bar, even though there were plenty of other seats available. He went to the cash register and complained about us for wanting to use the vouchers. I would suggest the restaurant simply stop offering them.

The food and homemade beer is always exceptional. I especially enjoy the rindergulasch, spatzle with ein weizen :) The staff is consistent and accommodating for the many times I have visited over the past 15+ years. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming with the wood interior. Thanks for the great times and looking forward to more in the future!

We were a group of seven at the Weissbräuhaus on Saturday at lunchtime and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, the service very friendly, and we were even invited to sing a song or two. :-) We'd love to come back again.

We had roast pork and a quarter of a duck. Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm. And it was generally quite cold upstairs in the restaurant. The food tasted good, however, the prices are really steep; over €20 for a roast pork is quite something. The beer was definitely the highlight and very tasty, but over €5. Even though prices have risen everywhere, for me, that's where I draw the line. The service was good to very good. All in all, as a local, I don't think I should go there for that price.

I had a salad. It was a mixture of pre-made salads that you can get for a third of the price at any buffet. The chicken was also tough because it had been cut incorrectly. Perhaps traditional dishes are better. But I can't say for sure.

We were here late Saturday afternoon and were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation; shortly after, it was completely full. We had grilled meatloaf and roast pork with dumplings, both of which were delicious, reasonably priced, and generously portioned. The absolute standout, however, is the house beer. I had a sampler, and it was the best wheat beer I've ever had. The atmosphere is lively, but you can still have a relaxed conversation.

Delicious Bavarian cuisine meets super friendly staff in a fantastic location - I'd love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to eat authentic Bavarian food and enjoy home-brewed beer!

Beer was great, but the rest wasn't so good. The food was very expensive and there was little meat. The value for money was very poor! Some of the staff were also rude.

Everything was far too expensive, the meat was dry, and the service was rude.

Very friendly service and delicious beer. However, I didn't find the Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) very tasty.

Update: Thank you so much for the excuse. I think you need to speak to your server; that was the clear message. Tables are only available for lunch guests. :-) We had seven vouchers for coffee from the city tour and wanted to drink them there with something sweet. Even though the restaurant was half empty. They didn't have a single table free for us, especially on the first floor. 😂 We were immediately asked if we just wanted coffee. Well, we ended up giving the vouchers to some homeless people. 🤫 They were very happy.

We received a food voucher from our city tour. You're greeted by a friendly lady in a traditional dirndl. You're first asked whether you'd like something to eat or just a drink. Since we wanted to stop for a beer, we were seated in the front area of ​​the brewery. There, you can easily strike up a conversation with the other guests.

We ate at the Regensburg Weissbräuhaus over 10 years ago and treated ourselves to it again during our recent visit to Regensburg. The food was truly delicious and arrived in about 10 minutes – fantastic! The servers were all attentive and efficient. Overall, a very pleasant experience; we'd love to come back.

A typical Bavarian beer garden near Regensburg's historic center, very welcoming and spacious, with smaller dining rooms and spaces upstairs. The staff wears traditional costume. Despite the late hour (we arrived after 2 p.m.), they still prepared lunch for us. The beer is brewed on site, and is excellent. Reasonable prices: €37 for two, including two main courses and two beers. Easy to get to, it's located near a central paid parking lot.

Relatively expensive food (cheese spaetzle for 18 euros 😳, which tasted average at best), the beer smelled and tasted musty like an old cellar, and the atmosphere in the back of the small room, where you're immediately seated if there's a couple of you, is uncomfortable. I've known this place for over 15 years, and it used to be much better. I wouldn't go back now - unfortunately.

It is a nice option downtown Regensburg for traditional Bavarian food. The atmosphere is great, inside the restaurant there’s some nice and shiny brewing tanks and the decoration is typical Bavarian. The pork knuckle (Schweinshaxe) is pretty good, but this time was slightly overdone on the outside which gave a bitter flavour to it therefore the 4* rating, but the skin was nice and crispy so it was still enjoyable. Try also the Weißbier sampler if you wanna taste all the varieties they offer without getting too drunk.

The best roast pork in a long time! The sauce was perfect, the meat wasn't marbled, and the dumplings were also excellent. The service was friendly, and everything was quick. One minor criticism: the beef soup for €8 is a bit small, but otherwise, a lovely restaurant!

Now this is German food! The restaurant is super cool too! The beer is amazing and the wait staff is super nice. I would highly recommend.

The food, a sausage platter and Regensburger schnitzel, arrived after just 5 minutes, which already made us suspicious. It tasted just as good...the schnitzel was tough and the breading tasted like a soft roll. The sausages and meatloaf tasted of old oil. The seating was quite comfortable and the service was very friendly, but that didn't make the poor food any better.

Update: Everything was good this time 👍 ---- Food and drinks were excellent. Unfortunately, the service was a bit inattentive when we were there. Hopefully, it'll be better next time.

The service staff were generally quick and attentive. Nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle were, you could say, mediocre! Cream has no place in authentic Bavarian spaetzle. It tasted flat and rather boring. Furthermore, the fried onions were rubbery. Probably too long in the convection oven, improper storage, too much humidity, etc. The side salad, also rather mediocre and lacking a tasty dressing, was returned as is. Anyway, I've often had much better food. A shame for such a highly touted traditional restaurant...

We found the restaurant while we were looking for another resturant which is on the top list of the place to eat in Regensburg at TripAdvisor. While we were passing by, I noticed two guys drinking beer. The beer looked great and I asked my wife to stop and drink beer before we go to the restaurant we were looking for. We ordered our beer and booooommmm. The best beer I have ever drunk in my life. Then I asked the waiter whether they served food or not. He said yes. We ordered schnitzel. I am not exaggrating, one of the best I have ever eaten. And the potato (french) fries, awesome. We had two liters of beer, two schnitzel and we paid 63 Euro including the service. I definitely reccommend this restaurant. You won't regret.

I was served the wrong meal. When I asked about it the service states you ordered that. I know what I ordered. I even pointed at it. To avoid communication problems. Then he states, we don’t even have that right now. Crappy attitude. Their original regensburg sausage take like polish. If I wanted the original reg Marburg sausage, I would have ordered it down the street from the restaurant who has been making it for generations

We went there because of the great reviews for the food. Unfortunately, we can't really confirm this. We had the "grilled" original Regensburg bratwurst. These were two small, sliced sausages floating on a film of fat, which unfortunately suggests that the sausages weren't grilled, but perhaps fried in fat in a pan. The potato salad unfortunately tasted very much like a convenience product from a plastic bucket. The relatively small portion for €16.90 wasn't good value for money in our opinion. The service was quick and attentive.

Came by for a family dinner and sat outside right on the edge. Very hectic and noisy. Not the most ideal spot with a small kid. Friendly waiter. Prices fairly high, price for a cordon blue at 21,90€ not quite justified. Food overall tasted alright but, again, didn’t justify the price. Best Weißwurst breakfast! The wheat beer tastes very good (worth the trip for that alone), the Weißwurst is very large and very tasty. I was initially shocked by the amount, but since the taste and quality were just right, I managed to finish it all. The pretzel was also fresh. The ambiance is reminiscent of a brewery, rather rustic, which naturally fits the concept. The service was also impeccable, friendly, and fast. I felt completely at home and would gladly come back.

I've been returning here for many years, because your wheat beer is a gift for the senses. Full-bodied, sumptuous, and with a warmth that embraces the heart—on the finish, it reveals that sweet banana note that binds us together as friends and fills us with quiet happiness. If you are in Regensburg and want to get perfect, authentic, delicious Bavarian food with great and friendly service, this is absolutely the place to go to. Portions are large, but the food is so good, that the size of the portion only means you get to eat more of the great food this place serves. 10/10 would recommend.

We give it 5 stars in all areas. Anyone expecting freshly cut fries, as one review suggested, should wake up. My XXL schnitzel with homemade potato and cucumber salad was fantastic, as were the other dishes. The service was excellent and always cheerful and relaxed.

We received a coffee voucher on a city tour. We've never had such bad coffee. It tasted like it had been brewed in the morning and reheated in the microwave several times. Neither milk nor sugar helped. We can't recommend it.

We went there for a Bavarian dining experience, but were also looking to find some gluten free food. While they were showing vegetarian and vegan options, they didn’t indicate which dishes were gluten free. They handed me an Excel spreadsheet were all allergens were listed, but it was unclear how this corresponded to their menu. It would have taken forever to find out which dishes I could eat. The waiter had no clue and was not helpful. So we left. The restaurant was nearly empty at 6:30 pm.

They're doing something wrong. The interior is quaint but in need of some renovation. The discreet service required some encouragement before you could see the menu or order (1 star deduction). The food was delicious, but I'm not sure why the pork fillet medallions are marbled with fat and/or skin, unless they're other cuts of meat, which would also explain the size (1 star deduction). The prices on the table signs for "Kupferweißbier-Spitz 0.3l" and "Eiskaffee" are sometimes €1 lower than on the menu, and when asked about them on the bill, there's no concession or goodwill (1 star deduction). I'll never know what the beer tastes like, because the lager I ordered never arrived. At 30 degrees Celsius, a restaurateur doesn't notice that you have nothing to drink at your table. Bavaria without beer, that's what you get here. (1 star deduction)

We spontaneously decided on the Regensburger Weissbräuhaus. The selection of dishes is typical of a brewery. From schnitzel and cordon bleu to knuckle of pork, they offer everything. Prices are high. Unfortunately, the cordon bleu and schnitzel weren't entirely convincing in terms of taste. The cordon bleu cost €21.90 without a side salad. The value for money could be improved.

I was only here for drinks. The home-brewed Kupfer wheat beer is really good!

Op doorreis deze plek bewust gekozen om even een typisch streek gevoel te ervaren. Het restaurant maakt dat waar qua interieur en gezellige sfeer. Snelle en correcte bediening. Ik koos voor het meest lokaal klinkende gerecht; een Regenburger schnitzel. Maar dat viel tegen. De twee fantasieloze dunne lapjes vlees met een mandje frites bleken een foute keuze. Geen groente, geen opsmuk en weinig smaak. Ook koos ik voor een glas wijn bij de maaltijd. Misschien lag het daar aan en was dat vloeken in de kerk c. q. in deze bierkathedraal.

Unfortunately I can't give stars to the food. For 20€ schnitzel breaded without a bit of love placed on the plate with greasy fries 🍟 out of the bag also made in the fryer, unfortunately no!! As an added bonus, there are no bottled sauces. Why was it even more edible a year ago?! With this bad change you won't come back!!

Here you can try Regensburg sausages and schnitzel. Sausages are served toasted and cut in half lengthwise with sweet or spicy mustard, pickled cucumber slices, stewed sauerkraut and cold potato salad. A portion of sausages with cabbage and potatoes will cost you 18.40 € here. Schnitzel with potatoes -19.40 €. Well, Bavarian white non-alcoholic wheat beer is the standard of German brewing, it is amazing, soft taste, no bitterness, like Czech beer. A glass of 0.5 liters of white beer costs €5.10 here. We really liked the service and atmosphere. Definitely recommend a visit.
