Tolles Restaurant mit grandiosem Essen. Ich hatte als Vorspeise den Ziegenkäse, welcher wirklich richtig gut war! Der Hauptgang, die veganen Krapfen waren etwas ganz besonderes. Alles auf dem Teller hat einfach ganz besonders und intensiv geschmeckt. Wirklich ein Traum! Als Nachtisch noch das Apple crumble - rundum perfekter Abend!

Ich war heute Abend mit Freunden in der Rausmühle und wir waren alle begeistert🤩 Das Essen war super lecker und der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich! Ich wohne eigentlich direkt um die Ecke, war aber in der Vergangenheit viel zu selten dort, was sich in Zukunft definitiv ändern wird😉

Es war ein wunderschöner Abend in der "Rausmühle". Wir waren Samstagabend zu Zweit dort, hatten vorher reserviert. Wir hatten einen schönen Tisch auf der Terrasse. Diese war gut gefüllt, ich würde daher eine Reservierung empfehlen. Der Service hat sich sehr nett und aufmerksam um uns gekümmert. Vor dem Essen gab es eine Kleinigkeit vorab, lecker und mal was anderes. Ich hatte ein vegetarisches Gericht, die gefüllten Krapfen. Diese haben mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Mein Dessert, die Zitronencreme, war ebenfalls lecker. Parken ist dank der Parkplätze hinter dem Gebäude kein Problem. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Auch das Ambiente hat uns begeistert – gemütlich, stilvoll und perfekt für einen entspannten Abend. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das tolle Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und die schöne Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant absolut weiterempfehlen! 🍷😊

Rausmühle – der Name ist leider Programm Wir wollten gestern im Rahmen einer Fahrradtour spontan zu zweit einkehren. Dass wir keinen Tisch reserviert hatten, war uns bewusst – ein wenig Wartezeit hätten wir daher selbstverständlich in Kauf genommen. Zumal noch mehrere Tische frei waren. Auf unsere freundliche Nachfrage reagierte der Kellner jedoch auffallend schnippisch mit einem knappen „Ich habe keinen Tisch für euch“. Als Gäste an einem größeren Tisch sogar anboten, bald zu gehen, wurde dies ebenso unwirsch zurückgewiesen – eine Situation, die für alle Beteiligten eher befremdlich wirkte. Die eigentliche Krönung: Während wir bereits wieder unsere Fahrräder nahmen, erhielt ein anderes Paar ohne Reservierung problemlos einen Tisch. Mehrere andere Gäste bestätigten uns zudem, dass dieser Ton dort offenbar kein Einzelfall ist. Mit eigener Erfahrung in der Gastronomie bleibt da nur wenig Verständnis – Freundlichkeit ist schließlich kein optionaler Teil des Berufs. Am Ende bleibt die Erkenntnis: Spontane Gäste sind hier offenbar unerwünscht – es sei denn, sie passen besser ins Bild. Oder anders gesagt: Nicht jeder wird hier rausgemühlt, aber manche offenbar mit erstaunlicher Konsequenz.

Weiß gar nicht was ich sagen soll. Der Spargel war super lecker. Der Service absolut klasse. Ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen mal die Rausmühle zu besuchen. Es war ein absoluter Genuss.

Die Lage ist ruhig und außerhalb des Stadttrubels. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten und guter Service. Das Essen ist hervorragend und die Portionen sind genau richtig.

Die Rausmühle ist absolut empfehlenswert! Das Ambiente ist urig-gemütlich. und im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Lokalen herrscht hier eine angenehme und ruhige Atmosphäre. Der hervorragende und überaus zuvorkommende Service beginnt schon mit einer herzlichen Begrüßung am Eingang. Man fühlt sich wirklich willkommen und jederzeit aufmerksam beachtet. Die Speisekarte bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl an Speisen, so dass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Unser Essen war sehr ansprechend angerichtet und wirklich köstlich! Zu gerne hätte ich auch noch ein Dessert gewählt, aber die großzügige Portionsgröße des Hauptgangs hat dies leider verhindert. ;-) Wir kommen gerne wieder, sehr bald!

Sehr urigen und gemütliches Restaurant

Außergewöhnliches Essen und außergewöhnlicher Service.

Wie bereits in den vorangegangenen Bewertungen kann ich nur Positives berichten: Service sehr schnell, freundlich u kompetent. Essen sehr gut, frisch zubereitet, Pommes mit extra „crunch“ sehr gut. Alles frisch u schmackhaft. Preis Leistung in Ordnung. Sehr gute Weinempfehlungen. Trotz derzeit wegen Renovierung und Bau in der Nachbarschaft etwas eingeschränkten Optik sehr empfehlenswert.

Boah, war das lecker Zwiebelrosbraten mit Bratkartoffeln und Coalsalat, sehr zu empfehlen und es gab noch Cordon bleu, auch total lecker 😋 Service und Bedienung absolut 5 Sterne 🌟. NACHTISCH mangoeissorbée mit Scholotrüffel, der sog. Blumentopf. Und Pfannenkuchen und Esspressoüberguss. 🥰Wir waren zu unserem Jahrestag da und bekamen einen Begrüßungstrank, man beglückwünschen uns und wir fühlten uns wohl und geehrt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Wir waren schon häufiger da, bisher immer gut, Personal freundlich, Parkplätze vorhanden. Auch mit Hund kein Problem.

Wie immer hervorragenden, urgemütlich, extrem freundliche Bedienung und hervorragen zubereitete Speisen.

Wir waren vor kurzem mit mehreren Personen dort essen, das Ambiente und das Essen sind auch in Ordnung. Was aber gar nicht geht, ist dass wir alle am Tisch, ob alt oder jung vom Personal geduzt wurden. Als Gäste können wir erwarten mit Höflichkeit und Respekt behandelt zu werden und dazu gehört dass man gesiezt wird. Wir haben die Angestellten von Anfang an gesiezt wie es eigentlich selbstverständlich ist und wurden trotzdem weiter geduzt. Ich kann das echt nicht nachvollziehen, vielleicht denken Sie mal über Ihre Umgangsformen nach. Mit dem "Sie" macht man nie etwas verkehrt.

Waren gestern zu dritt essen. Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und die Dame hat die Dessert Karte auswendig aufgezählt. Essen war sehr lecker, nicht preiswert aber dafür qualitiv hochwertig. Ambiente sehr urig und gemütlich,Kamin an ..... Essen hat ca 1 Std gedauert, aber dafür war es lecker und hat sich gelohnt zu warten. Tolles Restaurant,tolles Personal, tolle Ambiente....sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder!

Sehr leckeres Essen und super herzliche und liebevolle Mitarbeitende. Auch meine Hunde wurden willkommen geheißen.

Liegt extrem abgelegen und Nachts würde ich die Strecke ungern fahren. Aber es lohnt sich. Essen ist sehr gut. Ich fand es nur schade, dass es keine kleinen Gerichte außer einer Suppe gab. Kellner war sehr nett und herzlich.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal in der Rausmühle zum Abendessen. Problemlos über OpenTable reserviert. Wir sind sehr freundlich willkommen geheißen und aufmerksam bedient worden. Das Wildgulasch und der Sauerbraten waren nett angerichtet und sehr lecker. Es wurde noch zusätzlich Soße angeboten. Nach diesem vorzüglichen Essen haben wir uns noch ein leckeres Dessert gegönnt 😋 Es war ein schöner Abend in einem rustikal, gemütlichen Restaurant. Wir werden garantiert als Gäste wiederkommen und auch die schöne Gegend erkunden.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet. ♡10/10 :D

Die Speisekarte hört sich besser an, als das was man dann serviert bekommt. Das "knusprige Rausmühlenschnitzel mit cremiger Rahmsoße" stellte sich leider als dünnes trockenes Schnitzel mit einer sauerlich schmeckenden Soße und Pilzen heraus. Bei einem weiteren Gericht "Zwiebelrostbraten vom grass fed Rumpsteak" war weder das Fleisch zart noch waren die Bratkartoffeln knusprig und das Ganze mit einer Menge an Zwiebeln überhäuft. Wir mussten es umgehen lassen, weil man es nicht schneiden konnte. Ein neuer Versuch mit Wildgulasch scheiterte ebenfalls, sehr schade. Der Sauerbraten schmeckte ganz gut, nur die Kartoffelknödl waren vermudlich aus der Tüte, aber handgerollt 😉 usw. Aber der Service war sehr gut und aufmerksam. Fazid: wie geben gerne etwas mehr aus, wenn die dahinter stehende Qualität stimmt. Hier war es leider nicht der Fall.

Das Essen war hervorragend und geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau. Alles war frisch zubereitet und sehr schön angerichtet. Der Service war mehr als gut – freundlich, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, dass man sich nur wohlfühlen kann. Insgesamt ein rundum positives Erlebnis. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können euch nur sehr empfehlen. Die beiden Kinder waren sehr begeistert von eurem Essen und vom netten/lustigen Kellner (4J & 6J). Wir sagen Danke ❤️

Eins der besten Restaurants in der Region. In der ehemaligen Mühle ist es sehr gemütlich, der Service ist perfekt und auch das Essen ist mega!

Rundum gelungener Restaurantbesuch! Die Rausmühle befindet sich in einem urigen, gemütlichen Fachwerkhaus. Ambiente, Service und die Speisen sind hervorragend. Es werden überwiegend klassische Gerichte mit ein wenig modernen Abwandlungen angeboten. Es gibt Kartenzahlung und ausreichend Parkplätze neben dem Haus. Nur zu empfehlen!

An idyllic spot in the heart of a nature reserve. A truly cozy restaurant with a very special charm. A centuries-old history (since 1568) shapes this place of exceptional hospitality. The food is outstanding. A wonderful place to meet with friends, relatives, and family.

The restaurant is situated in beautiful surroundings. It offers a wide variety of dishes, including regional specialties. The food there is a delight! The service is very friendly and attentive.

Super cozy and great staff. Yesterday we had roast goose leg for the first time this season. Very tasty and the side dishes tasted like they were homemade.

We were a group of nine, seated in a separate room at the back, which can be reserved as usual. It was very cozy, although there was no cell phone reception (but why would you want that in a restaurant?). The menu is quite concise, which speaks to the quality of the food. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. Parking, location, ambiance, service, food/drinks – all top-notch (beer drinkers should definitely try the Eifeler Landbier!). They are happy to accommodate individual requests.

Found it by chance yesterday evening while I was on my way back to Bremen from the Cologne Trade Fair with colleagues. The detour from the highway was so worth it. We were lucky that a table opened up and we were treated to a great meal with fantastic fries on the side. The service was first-class. Even though the restaurant was fully booked, no one seemed stressed, and our server was very friendly and even took the time for a quick chat. We loved it and would go there often if it weren't so far from home. Maybe after the next trade fair next year. Thank you all!

Amazing local cuisine, great authentic atmosphere.

We visited the restaurant for the first time this weekend, and we were all thrilled. I'd heard so many good things, and I can now absolutely agree. I've never been served so nicely anywhere in my life. Our friends' children were also treated very well. The food was also first-class! From the appetizer to the main course to the dessert...simply fantastic! We'll be back!

After the hike, we had a delicious meal. Beef roulade with sautéed pointed cabbage and mashed potatoes. Accompanied by Eifeler Landbier from Bitburger. The menu was modern, home-style with a twist. The vegetarian options were intriguing. The service was top-notch. A young, good-looking team! 👍

Great place, unfortunately mediocre food.

The Rausmühle is a truly special place. Whether you sit inside the charming, historic building or enjoy the beautiful terrace outside, the setting alone is breathtaking. The service is absolutely perfect, attentive, and warm. And the food? A delight every time, lovingly prepared and a true feast for the senses. No wonder we love coming back again and again. A place where you simply feel at home!

Unfortunately, the food is absolutely not worth the price! There were three of us there, we got our drinks quickly, and after ordering our food, it took a very long time for the food to arrive. The "Rausmühlenschnitzel from Eifel pork loin in a panko coating" was very dry (this panko coating was completely unacceptable, and the restaurant should go back to a conventional coating), the mushrooms tasted like canned food, the sauce was a soup spoon, and the homemade fries that came with it didn't add to the excitement (none of us liked them).

A great evening, everything fits together here. Good food, great staff, and enjoying the evening with friends. The service is attentive and very friendly. The food (Eifler Schnitzel) was delicious; I really enjoyed it. Yes, the price... not exactly a bargain, but fair, since everything is freshly prepared here. I was happy to pay the price, also because of the great service. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

A great experience dining at this restaurant. It's the old mill in the area. The food is top-notch. The only downside is that it's hard to find, but it's worth the search.

A superb dinner. If you get there early enough, the parking lot is still free ;-). The service was very professional and attentive, the food was truly high-quality and very, very tasty, and the atmosphere at the old mill is incredibly cozy. The prices are a bit high, but you get quality! We made a reservation online, and it worked without a hitch. If you want, you can combine your restaurant visit with a hike in the beautiful Eifgenbach Valley. The Way of St. James runs right past here, and for thirsty hikers and bikers, there's a fridge outside with delicious drinks (and a tin can for a change). We'd be happy to come back anytime.

We were at the Rausmühle for our wedding anniversary and were warmly welcomed with a glass of delicious sparkling wine each. The service was very attentive, and the meal was a little culinary journey for us. We were at the Rausmühle today with a larger group/family. We were absolutely thrilled! The service was super friendly and child-friendly, and when something wasn't quite right with a dish (which definitely happened on a day when the restaurant was completely full), the dish in question was promptly removed from the bill... exemplary!! Some of the food is very expensive! The quality is okay. Some of the seating is uncomfortable.

Great restaurant with a very cozy atmosphere. We sat outside in the beautiful weather and had a wonderful evening with excellent food. The starter, main course, and dessert were all simply outstanding. Hikers will also get their money's worth, with beautiful hiking trails in the immediate vicinity.

Absolutely excellent food. Super friendly staff. The only thing that could be improved is the ambiance. And don't get me wrong. I like the old charm. Details like the bench cushions or the exterior facade don't quite fit with the rest of the place anymore. But I'm only rating that because it's been asked for. Great restaurant that's also a dream during a bike ride or hike.

Very friendly and good staff. The food is very good and there is also a choice for vegetarians. Overall a small menu but I think everyone will find something. Prices are slightly higher than average, food and service are worth it.

Absolutely unjustified and disarming warmth is what you encounter in the service here - even when the hut is completely full. And absolutely outstanding food too - the schnitzel is absolutely gold! 🏅 Don't be put off by the website saying that "only" a bistro menu is available between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. - many restaurants would like to have the dishes on the bistro menu as a regular menu 🙃

An oasis of comfort in the middle of nowhere. Definitely a 10/10! We were very lucky to get a table at short notice. A real stroke of luck! We'll definitely be back. The restaurant is perfect for a special evening with your loved one!

Great location, rustically furnished and therefore exudes a rustic, rural charm. The dishes are sensibly portioned and excellently prepared. Service very attentive and friendly. A large selection of high-quality brandies rounds off the gastronomy experience at the end with a delicious nightcap.

Very cozy restaurant, super nice staff, we felt very well taken care of, the food was very tasty and exceptional

We always enjoy coming to Rausmühle. Always a delicious experience in summer and winter. The service not only tries to create a very friendly atmosphere - but also manages it! Problems are addressed promptly and specifically - and solutions are offered. So our reservation in winter with 9 people was postponed by 30 minutes at short notice. We were called and it was clarified - we were then treated to mulled wine outside in the tent to tide us over. That was even better than sitting down straight away :-) Sat comfortably outside in the summer. Food was always great and special requests from our children were never a problem. Yes, the journey in the dark is part of the event, but that makes the Rausmühle all the more exciting. There are real professionals at work here who enjoy their work.

I was a regular there in the 70s to 90s. Now I haven't been there for umpteen years and was pleasantly surprised. The whole shop, which is a listed building, is in immaculate condition. The historical ambience is beautiful, stylish and tastefully designed. The service was very friendly and fast and far above average attentive. Drink selection good. The menu tries to “spruce up” the regional, middle-class cuisine in some way. A bit “too much” in my opinion. As a person living in Switzerland, a Cordon Bleu filled with Mettwurst is simply suspicious to me. But my onion roast was ok. Commendable: the cooking point ordered (medium rare) was spot on and the edge of fat was retained, as it should be. The saddle of game that the companion had ordered was also beautifully prepared and pink. This is no longer a given these days. Price-performance ratio is completely fine. Anyone who thinks it's too expensive has no idea about gastronomy. In view of the very well-filled restaurant, the Rausmühle seems to have found its audience.
