Radi’s Restaurant zum Hufschlag in Hamburg

It was Sunday evening and the entire restaurant was empty, only two tables outside were occupied, so the alarm bells should have gone off for us. But we had heard there was a new tenant, so we wanted to give the restaurant a chance. We ordered pizzas and schnitzel with fries. The pizza was edible, but overall not good. I think it was an attempt to make a Neapolitan pizza but failed. Too much tomato sauce, hardly any cheese, dough so-so (like the Thermomix pizza dough), burnt ingredients and dried herbs on top. The schnitzel was the worst piece of meat I have ever eaten in a restaurant. It looked and tasted like a warmed ready-made schnitzel, really unacceptable, especially in a restaurant. The fries were OK. The service was nice, but they didn't manage to ask you if you wanted something to drink once in a while when the glasses were empty. One of the waiters barely understood us either. When he asked if everything was okay and we said something was missing. He just said: Enjoy your meal. Only the other waiter (probably the boss) was able to help out and get the missing things in the kitchen. It's a shame, a shame, a shame... Making schnitzel isn't that difficult, why make it ready-made? And the pizza has potential...a few improvements and then it'll be okay. I was really happy that there was a new, promising restaurant in Bramfeld as an alternative, for example to the Greek restaurants. But that was nothing.

What can I say? It was delicious. We ate here again today. The staff is friendly. The food came at just the right intervals and was delicious. We'd love to come back.

To start with, we went to brunch on September 1st. We were very excited. The selection is plentiful and varied. Forgot to take photos. The price of 27.90 is justified. In addition to cold, warm and sweet dishes, there was coffee, tea and juices. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We also looked at the menu and the price/performance ratio is completely ok. It's definitely worth a visit. There will be a brunch every beginning of the month and we will come back.

So really nice, lovely people who work there. Great honestly. Celebrated my birthday there. They even sang for me. Cocktail was on the house. Food tastes great too. Will go again. Really sweet and funny!!!

A place with a really good atmosphere, great staff and delicious food. What I dislike is the price of the plated meals; it is significantly more expensive than the local average, despite the same quality. Whether these high prices can be enforced remains to be seen whether you go out for dinner or gas on your wedding anniversary.

We were surprised to discover on the Internet that there is a new tenant. So we looked at the menu and decided to go. We sat outside and were served very nicely. Both dishes were delicious. We will be back.

Were there yesterday, it was ok so far. The boss is a huge disgrace. It was ok so far, there seems to have been a new waiter, very nice and helpful. In between, we ordered two more drinks, which unfortunately didn't arrive. So after 45 minutes I went in to pay. Unfortunately, I discovered that the two cokes were included in the bill. I said that we didn't receive the 2 drinks. Then he had the nerve to say I was lying. Poor Keller, if the boss were to do something like that in front of the guests, that wouldn't work at all. But there was something about aggression that made you afraid... After a lot of back and forth, he took the two cokes off the bill.

Fast service and always delicious. Very happy again!

A very nice, cozy restaurant. The furnishings are modern and very chic. The menu is varied, with salads, pizza, burgers, fish, meat and vegan dishes offering something for every taste. The prices are reasonable for the large portions. In summer there is an outdoor area with large parasols, which is lovely to sit there. The service was friendly and attentive. We were very satisfied and would love to come back ❤️

Update June 2024: There has been a new operator for a few weeks now. The boss and the waitress are very nice and accommodating. The food was delicious and varied. It's worth getting back into the swing of hoofs. The new operators are really trying hard. But before that we felt better looked after. We liked the food better.

Unfortunately the food is far too expensive for the quality. Unfortunately, Wiener Schnitzel came from the freezer, the house pan was very greasy, pizza was okay but nothing special. Things got really bad when it came to paying. All pizzas were on offer for 11.50 - we ordered a pizza with 4 toppings. The charge was then 11.50 base price + 3 x 2.30€ surcharge for the additional ingredients. When asked how this price came about with the reference to the fact that pizzas with 5 or 6 toppings are also available for 11.50, the only response was “That’s just the way it is.” There were also more drinks on the bill than ordered. The base price of the pizza was also missing. The waiter quickly tried to blame us for this; after all, we had seen the double-booked beer.

Very well rounded thing. Service was extremely friendly. Food was very, very tasty, gladly again!!

today for the first time with the new owner. I wanted to have two fries and pay in cash, a waiter told me I had to wait for the boss to pay. After waiting 15 minutes my fries were ready but the boss still wasn't there. When I wanted to pay with a 10€ note, he first joked that it wouldn't be long and then that he didn't have 80 cents as change. I'm actually very generous when it comes to tips, but if you wait so long just because I wanted to pay in cash, I didn't want to do anything more. But the highlight was that HE said I could just give him an 80 cent tip and that it would be fine. From my point of view, absolute cheekiness and disrespectful behavior. The fries were still good.

Wir waren heute (18.05.2024) im Hufschlag. Seit kurzem gibt es einen neuen Eigentümer/Pächter. Das gemütliche Ambiente ist geblieben. Der Service sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Karte ist vielseitiger geworden, ist aber nicht überladen. Wir hatten das Roastbeef und von der Saisonkarte den Spargel mit Schnitzel! Es war sehr Lecker, Portionen ausreichend groß und die Preise sind angemessen! Wir kommen wieder und sind froh das es sich wieder lohnt in den Hufschlag zu gehen.

I treated myself to a salami pizza. The pizza was delicious and the staff is very friendly. Price performance is top ^^ gladly again. I spotted some really tasty ribs at the neighboring table - I'll definitely try them next time.

Today we were in the restaurant & café, which has been newly opened for almost a week, for the first time (for coffee and Kaiserschmarrn) and we will definitely be coming back for dinner soon. From the friendly welcome, to the delicious dessert including a very good cappuccino, to the price-performance ratio, we feel in good hands here. All the best for the restart.

We were here today for the first time since the reopening and were very satisfied. The food was very good and the service was friendly and attentive.

We were invited to a birthday party with around 45 people. Considering that the new owner had just taken over the restaurant and still held the celebration according to old arrangements with new staff, it was a success. The Italian buffet was very tasty and plentiful; it should be emphasized that various other dishes were always added. The staff was understandably not that well-rehearsed, but solved everything in a friendly and courteous manner. All in all, a lovely evening in an attractive location with a lovely atmosphere.

Went there last night without a reservation. Filled us very well. Eat good. Service very nice young man.

We are now very often in Hufschlag and really like the cuisine. Everything is fresh, tasty and quickly on the table. The service is very attentive and friendly. Thank you for that. My second recession from the hoof strike, which is now called Ambrosino, is also great! We really liked all of the previous ones too. The service is fast and friendly, the food is varied and freshly prepared, there is always something for everyone, great view of the riding arena, free parking right in front of the door! Highly recommended for several people for a family celebration, for example. Thank you very much, we feel very comfortable.

Although we were almost the only guests (I could have saved myself the online reservation), we were initially ignored for almost 20 minutes. The food was extremely boring for this price segment and also carelessly prepared. (Schweinske does it better, and cheaper.) There is no garnish at all, apart from the few crumbs of parsley that were thrown over the plate. I ordered a garlic sauce with it because neither ketchup nor mayo was offered, got crushed garlic cloves in oil and a really unbearably spicy salsa or something similar. Certainly suitable for starters, bread (which bread) and drinks to increase sales. When I rudely replied no to the waiter's question as to whether I liked it, I was told that that's just how it is here in the house. It's a shame, I had expected something different from all the good reviews. We will not dine here again.

For a Croatian Mediterranean restaurant there was very little to no corresponding food, but the food we ordered was very tasteful and the service/owner was extremely friendly and helpful. If there was Croatian food it would definitely be 5 stars

Nice to sit with a view of the riding arena Otherwise, the restaurant is unfortunately not recommended, an absolute failure. We ordered the goose legs there for Christmas. Unfortunately they weren't edible. Completely hard and simply inedible. Even after our complaint, the new goose leg was just bad. When paying, the staff had to be informed that the uneaten goose leg would probably not be paid for. They actually had it on the bill. Instead of politely making a suggestion to the guest, full payment should be made here. That's very bold. Absolutely no recommendation, won't go there again, bad food and service doesn't think.

Food was good, service courteous. Interior design simple. Ambience with horse stable funny. Simply serve the food without any ideas.

New owner since May 2nd, 23. Nice friendly service here too. The prices have increased and the menu has been reduced in size. Unfortunately, the food wasn't quite as good: the fried potatoes were far too mushy, the linguini with shrimps didn't have grated Parmesan but grated Parmesan from a bag, and they could have used more seasoning, just like the Mediterranean turkey steak. Anyone who knows the Mediterranean turkey steak from Tunici Hamburg will be disappointed. First there is bread with olives and a tomato cream There are Köpi and Duckstein on tap. Unfortunately we were too full for dessert.

Ein Restaurant mit Blick in eine Pferdereithalle. Die Karte hat eine große Auswahl Kroatischer Gerichte. Leider haben unsere Gerichte (Dubrovnic Pfanne und Cevapcici) nicht besonders gut geschmeckt. Zudem sind im Restaurant sehr viele Fliegen und es wirkt auch nur mäßig sauber. Meine Begleitung und ich hatten beide am Folgetag leichte Magenprobleme.

Essen war super lecker waren 10 Personen hatten grillplatten,alles super lecker und Bedienung war super aufmerksam und nett einfach ein gelungener abend!! Ausserdem genügend Parkplätze vorhanden!

Sehr sehr leckeres Essen, wir waren überrascht ☺️ Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und der Herr der noch eingearbeitet wurde hat sich sehr gut angestellt. In großen und ganzen sehr gut! Kleiner Rat, kontrolliert gerne einmal die Tische… einige wackeln leider. Aber ansonsten top sauber ☺️

Ich bin leider sehr enttäuscht. Der erste Besuch war super, aber der zweite und definitiv letzte jetzt war bitter. Erstmsl wurden die Vorspeisen vergessen, dann kam die Hauptspeise.Cordon Bleu in der Friteuse gemacht. Meins war nicht durch, angesprochen beim Kellner, der es zurück in die Küche brachte. Dann bekam ich das selbe Stück wieder serviert, nachdem es wieder in die Friteuse geworfen wurde und dann natürlich verbrannt. Das von meinem Mann war total trocken. Sorry, aber das ist einfach ein no go

Rustikal, mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Service ist sehr herzlich und das Essen war ebenfalls gut. Kleines Highlight, ist der Blick in die Reithalle, wo man beim Training, mit den Pferden, zuschauen kann.

Wir waren überrascht, dass hier ein neuer Betreiber eingezogen ist. Die Speisen waren heiß und lecker. Meine Schorle hätte gerne mehr Kohlensäure haben können.

Ich war mit meiner Familie schon öfters da und immer wenn ich dort esse bin ich dann auch so satt dass ich sagen kann der Trip zu diesem Lokal hat sich gelohnt! Innen ist es wirklich schön eingerichtet typisch kroatisch und draußen im Sommer🔅 gefällt es mir auch und man wird auch immer gut bedient von der Bedienung ! Am besten ist das Steak🥩! Macht weiter so👊👍🏻

Gutes Essen und freundliches Personal.

Gestern das erste Mal dort gewesen. Essen war wirklich super, tolle Location. Leider ist die Damentoilette alles andere als sauber. Die Spinnenweben hängen nicht erst seit gestern dort und die Lampen sind sehr dunkel, außerdem ist es extrem kalt und eng dort. Keine Möglichlichkeit Hände zu waschen wenn ein Kind gewickelt wird. Bei den Punkten müsste mal nach gebessert werden.

Das vierte Mal hier und es wird garantiert ein fünftes geben. Alles bestens!

Fange ich von vorn an: viele Parkplätze vor der Tür, es wird im Restaurant auf alle Hygienemaßnahmen geachtet und umgesetzt! Ein sehr schönes Ambiente direkt an der Reithalle, sodass man den Pferden, den Reiterinnen und Reitern bei ihrem Sport während des Aufenthaltes zusehen kann. Eine gute Karte, die alle Erwartungen erfüllt. Vegetarisch, Fisch und viel Fleisch... für jeden etwas dabei. Besonders bemerkenswert: der Service! Wir waren als Familie zum Geburtstag mit 12 Personen am Tisch. Alle Getränke und Speisen wurden aufgenommen und ohne nachfragen zu müssen, beim servieren jeden zugeordnet. Das ist leider wirklich sehr selten in der heutigen Gastronomie geworden. Das Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich gut! GRILLTELLER mit gebackenen Kartoffelschiffchen und Balkanreis 14,50€, sehr gut zubereitet und satt geworden! 2,5 Stunden dort gewesen und die Zeit verging wie im Fluge.

Dieses Restaurant hat eine Besonderheit, eine Reithalle grenzt an das Restaurant nur durch Glasscheiben getrennt. Man hat einen schönen Blick auf die dort trainierenden Reiter. Zum Restaurant: Gemütlich eingerichtet, sauber und ordentlich. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend, Die Speisen sind schmackhaft und gut bemessen, die Getränke sind so wie sie seien sollen. Das preisleistungs Verhältnis ist top. Von mir gibt es eine absolute Empfehlung.

Bei der Reservierung angefangen sehr freundlich, viele Parkplätze direkt davor. Die Umsetzung der COVID-19 Maßnahmen werden sehr gut umgesetzt. Schöne Ambiente und absolut gemütlich. Der Service ist super nett aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir werden wieder kommen. Sehr zu empfehlen. Die Preise sind moderat und absolut okay

Ich war Neulich mit meine Familie da, früher war besser, jetzt Kleine Karte, schlechte Service 😤, daher kann ich leider nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

Schon beim reservieren sehr freundlich, das Lokal setzt die COVID-19 Maßnahmen perfekt vertrauensvoll um. Der Service sehr flott und das Essen von der Qualität und Geschmack ein Genuss. Die Preise sind für die Qualität mehr als in Ordnung. Sehr empfehlenswert gerade jetzt zu der Zeit einen tollen Abend zu haben. Vielen Dank, kommen gerne wieder 😄
