The food is good, but throwing a party of 8 people out more or less because the table has been given away again is not acceptable. If that had been agreed upon it would have been ok, but it left a bad aftertaste. If you make a reservation, it is best to ask in advance how long you are tolerated. I'm relatively well known and I'll let you know.

After we had been looking forward to the visit for a long time, as we had expected a restaurant with great attention to detail based on the logo and website, we were unfortunately a bit disappointed. After the entrance area had already aroused our anticipation, we were all the more astonished when we suddenly found ourselves standing in the gray dining room, in which suddenly there was hardly any ambience left. All burgers are also available in veggie versions, which was great! Unfortunately, the food didn't really impress us. It was tasty, but nothing special. However, super nice service!

We were there for the first time. Service very nice. One can argue about the ambience. The turquoise color doesn't exactly radiate warmth. The size of the citizens bears a poor relationship to the price. For a burger with fries, around €20 seems excessive to us.

Addendum The owners were very accommodating after my complaint. And they sent me a voucher that I could try again. Because something can always go wrong. I thought that was very nice. I redeemed it too and this time it was nothing and delicious (it was also very tasty before :-)). Hence my adjusted rating. August 2024 I'm so mad right now! We were there at around 5:30 p.m. and ordered something there. Food came quickly and tasted delicious too. About 15 minutes after eating we wanted to go for a walk at Geropark. It didn't work because I had stomach cramps and unfortunately we went home. Everything broke out and I'm now lying in bed with cramps on my birthday and the day is over. I've never had anything like that after visiting a restaurant. Thanks for ruining my birthday...

This is a fantastic place with a special thematic background. So many carefully chosen details make it very interesting. The food is great. We had burgers for dinner, and all of them were flawless. There’s a nice selection of beer. We had a great time and will definitely be back

Simply delicious and super nice staff

When we were there we were the only guests. In terms of taste, the burgers were okay and for us (2 people) fries and sauce would have been enough with the burgers. The staff was very friendly. The meat and the buns were good, the sauces weren't my thing, but of course that's a matter of taste.

You have to be at this place once. I would never have thought that there was something so damn delicious in Mönchengladbach. The ones (Holy Shit BBQ and the Sweet Potatoes) were awesome. In my opinion, no shop in the area comes close to it. Everyone's opinion is different but it's definitely worth a try to eat here. If you don't like it here, you've chosen the wrong food that doesn't suit your taste. 99% recommendation rate.

Absolute hit! Ate the “Le Francais” burger and were so happy about it. Super tasty. Great quality. You're super full but you don't have that nasty feeling of fullness like at other burger shops. Added to this is the unique atmosphere, like Alice in Wonderland. Might even have more craziness (for my taste). The housemade lemonade (lemon with rosemary) is also a blast 😊 The only point of criticism: we would have overlooked you (if the locals hadn't recommended you to us) because no sign is visible straight away. How about a glowing Cheshire Cat pointing from the street into your basement/rabbithole 😀😊?! We'll definitely be back! Thank you so much! 🩷💙 S&M

Unfortunately I have to write down my frustration here: We had reserved a table for 8 a.m. and had to find our way first. This was our first and probably last visit to the Rabbit Hole. The stairs down were so slippery with grease that you really had to be careful. Down in the cellar there was an incredibly disgusting smell of chip fat - no wonder you walk past the kitchen whose door is wide open. That also explains the greasy soil - the fat It was just in the air. The girls from the team asked us whether we wanted to sit downstairs or upstairs on the terrace - upstairs of course. We were told to scan the QR code and order. No sooner said than done. Then it was about payment: Google Play, PayPal, credit card or voucher. Please order with cash or EC card back downstairs from the girls. So I slid back down the fat stairs and placed the order again. The waitress was surprised that you couldn't order with a debit card above - I pointed out to her that it was even written on the menu and was surprised that the service staff didn't even know about it. The burgers were super tasty 😁 and the service at the other restaurant, which also offers food and drinks on the terrace. The Rabbit Hole doesn't offer drinks, you have to order them separately. All of them are complicated, greasy and not very hospitable. I didn't tip the girls at Rabbit either...I didn't know what for? Take an order? Very very disappointing

I found ordering confusing; The outdoor area is shared with the Hasenbande restaurant. For 1 restaurant you had to order using the QR code. Didn't keep which one. You had to order the fries separately. The temperature of the food was bite-sized, not hot. There are a lot of stairs. Especially down to the toilet and you also have to go down there to pay in cash. The service is very friendly and understanding if you are confused by the 2 locations and ordering methods. ☺️

Unfortunately for the first and last time. The food on the terrace is paid for in advance, our fries were so salty that they burned on our lips for a long time. The service person tried it himself and said “that’s right!” Taste terrible. “That was all, no goodwill offer or anything like that. The burgers (e.g. salad wasn't fresh) were significantly overpriced in terms of price/performance ratio. Conclusion: far too expensive for the modest quality of the product.

A no restaurant and oh surprise it resembles a rabbit hole. So the name is reflected here. The main focus here is burgers. They are super delicious! You just have to try them. Price/performance are i. O.. The staff is super nice and accommodating. You can park quite easily nearby. There is no direct parking space nearby. Leave a like 👍 if you share this review.

In advance: This is a pickup. Our food was ready on time and the pickup went smoothly. However, the burgers themselves couldn't convince us (BBQ and Yam Burger). Both burgers were cold, which is a shame when the walk home is 260m. Unfortunately, the bacon on both burgers wasn't crispy at all, while the sweet potato fries were far too dark and bitter. The BBQ Burger didn't live up to its name and didn't really taste like BBQ. Unfortunately, the Yum Burger fell apart immediately and had to be eaten with cutlery. The fat potatoes and the pesto mayo were delicious. We won't order again.

We made a spontaneous reservation today and ate here while passing through. The location isn't my cup of tea, but the food ♥️ was really delicious. Unfortunately, we live 300 km away. Otherwise we would be regular guests 😊

I was finally here recently. Given the good reviews, I couldn't miss it, but unfortunately my expectations weren't met. The location was pleasant and the waitress was very personable, which was definitely a plus. The homemade pesto mayo was also very tasty. But unfortunately the burger itself couldn't convince me, especially in terms of the price/performance ratio. The bacon wasn't cooked through or crispy like it should be in my opinion and the patties weren't seasoned enough, which didn't help the taste of the burger overall. Another point of criticism was that the buns on the bottom were so greasy that I was forced to eat the burger with cutlery, even though I'm more of an 'eat burger with hands' type of person. Even the staff in the middle couldn't hold it together anymore. The sweet potato fries were tasty in themselves, but for my taste they could have been a little crispier. Given that the Rabbithole restaurant specializes exclusively in burgers, I actually expected more and unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars because I've definitely eaten better for the money. Maybe I'll give the restaurant another chance, but for now it stays at 3 stars.

If you want to eat delicious burgers and fries, you've come to the right place. There are great burger ideas that you can top with individual extras. High-quality ingredients, great meat, although the veggie version is also great, crispy fries, classic or sweet with delicious mayo, also spicy. The service is top, always friendly and attentive. The only drawback is the smell of frying and frying, including the slippery floor, which isn't necessarily surprising in a burger roastery. Since the restaurant is in the basement, fresh air is in short supply. The Rabbithole is highly recommended from a culinary point of view. Definitely try it. Really delicious :)

I don't understand the value for money. You pay as much for a burger as you would for an Argentinian steak house fillet in a steakhouse. However, the quality is not comparable to other burger stores. That's why you should want to come here if you want to eat burgers.

Yesterday we had dinner as a family at the Rabbithole. The employee was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We had our little dog with us and the boss also noticed her. She came to us and asked if the dog could also eat a little meat. I have to honestly say we have never experienced anything so great in a restaurant!!!! Foreword: We had carefully read some recessions in advance. The ambience is not for someone who wants a window seat, because there isn't one (just a hole). Otherwise the ambience is simple, but quite OK. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious (we had Mr. Spicy with cheese and Drunken Goat with 1 x Fat Potatoes and Pestomayo each, plus 4 drinks). In terms of taste, everything was completely OK. Now unfortunately comes the BUT... For someone who wants to fill up with a burger and fries, this is unfortunately not the right place for you. The burger is very, very small. The price-performance ratio doesn't suit me in the slightest. When it comes to the price-performance ratio of the fries, I have to say that this is still the case. Beer comes from the Hensen brewery above the Rabbit Hole, among others, and it is very tasty and can only be recommended. Conclusion: Unfortunately there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to quantity, but there is nothing to complain about when it comes to quality.

Burgers are delicious, individual and made with high-quality ingredients. A little too big and juicy to eat by hand. The fries are good, the sweet potato fries are great (the second best we've ever had). The selection of drinks isn't huge, but it's individual. The service is friendly, quick and attentive. The ambience is okay, but the background noise is problematic. With 15 guests in the room it was difficult to converse at the table. When there's less going on, it's cozy and pleasant. The toilets, especially the men's toilet, are still not perfect. The ventilation struggles to combat the difficult situation. Otherwise, all past problems have disappeared.

The burgers are really good. The sweet potato fries were excellent and the pesto mayonnaise I tasted was really not bad. Not enough variety in the sauces but the house sodas are great! Special requests (I wanted a naked burger) are also taken into account.

The food at Rabbithole was really tasty, but the fact that they don't accept Lightning payments yet is really a no-go. With a name like Rabbithole and the BTC community, I would definitely have expected this. BTC forever!

The spare ribs were exceptionally tasty, extremely tender, the meat practically fell off the bone. The pulled pork burger was also very tasty, but could have been a little bigger for the price. The homemade mayonnaise......very very tasty

The burgers are quite okay. However, the prices are a bit too high, especially for the dips. We also had bad news that the bottle of Hensen beer was empty right next to the Hensen brewery. In general, a beer cellar like this is nice, but I found it very loud there.

Food was OK, not outstanding. Burger was a bit overcrowded and therefore overloaded in terms of taste. Eating was difficult because the knives weren't sharp and you couldn't cut the rather flabby rolls. The fries were simply not good. But the service was nice and listened to the criticism and responded to it in a friendly manner.

The name is program! Very nice, unique location. Burgers are all very, very good and for us the best burgers in Mönchengladbach. Picking up has always worked excellently here and nothing has ever been forgotten. Only the bags of fries have become significantly smaller, and this was even noticed by guests with whom we enjoyed ordering there back then. Otherwise 9.5/10 points :)

I'm really sorry, but I have to give such a bad review to counteract the positive reviews here because I can't understand how they are put together. 27€ for 1 fries, 1 much too small burger, mayo + 1 drink. There is simply nothing that justifies this price. The service was, if anything, standard, and the fries weren't homemade either, which is also the case at the competition. Mayo, which is otherwise free, costs €1.5??…. For a mini pot? The BBQ burger really didn't taste like maple syrup or sugar (from the caramelized onions), it was just bland and completely overloaded with sauces. Plus it's relatively small and the price is simply not justified (€16.50)… All in all just disappointing and unfortunately not worth the money Once and never again. Sorry for the harsh but honest review…

We were here for the first time today because of the TV show My Local, Your Local. We cannot share the criticism that was made by a colleague on the show. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was very good, as was the friendly service. The country needs places like this.

In my opinion the best burgers in MG. The name is program. The rooms in an old vaulted cellar make you feel like you're in a rabbit hole. Quaint and cozy. Service is always nice and friendly.

Location very cool and extraordinary. Food was good too. The problem is the absolutely enormous noise when all the tables are occupied given the small footprint. It was very difficult to have a conversation. The brewery above was a bit quieter and can be used as a place to retreat after a meal.

Sehr lecker und gemütlich da. Man wird freundlich empfangen und hat sein Essen auch recht schnell da. (Ca. 1h dort verbracht von Ankommen bis rausgehen, zu zweit) Die Mayo ist etwas teuer aber schmeckt. Die Süßkartoffelpommes waren sehr lecker und perfekt frittiert. Die Burger sind groß, lecker und sättigen gut.

Glücklicherweise waren wir an einem Aktionstag da und konnten einen roten Aktionsburger in Kooperation mit der Marke Heinz probieren. Der Burger war sehr lecker und saftig. Vor allem das Fleisch. Perfekt gebraten und in Kombination mit den frischen Zutanen, ein einmalies Erlebnis. Der mit Abstand beste Burger, den ich in Gladbach gegessen habe. Komme gerne und mehrmals wieder.

Etwas versteckt, aber das gehört sich ja so für ein Rabbithole. Im Eingangsbereich abgeblätterte Farbe und typische Bratgerüche. Super Location: Stimmungsvoll genau wie der Name, Sehr netter Service, leckere Burger, Preis/Leistung top! Kleiner Wermutstropfen: Die Webseite die einem nicht verrät dass es manche Burger nicht an jedem Tag gibt - aber gibt genug leckere Ausweichmöglichkeiten.

Die Burger sind großartig, die Pommes auch sehr gut. Die Karte ist überschaubar - aber genau das überzeugt. Das hauseigene Bier kann sich mehr als sehen lassen - auch preislich ^^ Alles in allem eine der besten Adressen in Mönchengladbach, um Burger zu essen.

Der Speisesaal ist wunderbar gestaltet und schafft eine einladende Atmosphäre, die perfekt zum Namen passt. Das Personal verdient definitiv eine Erwähnung, da sie außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam waren. Von dem Moment an, als ich das Restaurant betrat, fühlte ich mich herzlich willkommen, und sie haben sich wirklich um mein Wohl gekümmert. Jetzt zu dem, wofür ich gekommen bin - das Essen! Die Burger im Rabbithole sind einfach fantastisch. Saftig, perfekt zubereitet und mit einer Auswahl an Belägen, die jeden Burger-Liebhaber begeistern werden. Aber das Highlight für mich waren die Süßkartoffelpommes. Ehrlich gesagt, habe ich selten so leckere Pommes gegessen. Knusprig von außen, zart von innen und mit der perfekten Würze. Wir waren heute hier mit sieben Personen. Die Burger waren sehr gut. Geschmacklich echt ein toller Genuss. Der Service ist gegenüber vielen anderen Restaurants traumhaft. Ganz nette Bedienung, die auch nicht vergisst nachzufragen, ob man noch irgendwas braucht. Wir finden, das dieses Restaurant ein echter richtig guter Geheimtipp ist. Das alle Burger auch als vegetarische Variante angeboten werden finden wir besonders wertvoll. Auch die Pesto -Mayo ist echt ein Traum, den wir noch nirgendwo anders gesehen haben.

Nett gelegene Location im Kellergeschoss, passend zum Namen 🤞🏻 Die Bestuhlung ist etwas ungleich, daher alles etwas unpassend. Ansonsten wirklich ein super Burger mit leckeren Soßen zu den Pommes und eine super Mayonnaise! Wir sind alle super satt geworden, die Portionen sind groß. Wir werden wiederkommen 👍🏻

Super Ambiente, gute Preise, und super leckeres Essen. Nach der Bestellung waren die Burger innerhalb von 10 Minuten bei uns. Bedienungen waren auch richtig zuvorkommend und darauf bedacht, dass alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit war. Alles in allem echt ein richtig gutes Lokal.

Besten Buger die ich je hatte. Besonders der Drunken Goat ist super. Die Selbstgemachte Mayo und alles andere passt einfach Super.

Perfect burger experience. The beef is perfectly grilled. All sauces are homemade. I had the BBQ burger with maple syrup bacon and caramelized onions. My wife had the avocado burger. The kids had a super juicy kid’s menu with the plate having the shape of a bunny. The cool thing is that they also serve the craft beer from the brewery above. Service was super friendly!
