It wasn't our first visit to this restaurant—and certainly won't be our last. The entire team is simply fantastic, and the dishes are exceptionally delicious and creative. Last night was a very special moment: I was able to propose to my girlfriend in this beautiful setting. The team supported me so warmly and helped me prepare everything—I would like to thank them from the bottom of my heart. Thank you so much for this unforgettable evening. We had lunch here twice because we were in the area. The first time, it was incredibly busy, but not bothersome. We had a delicious appetizer and two pasta dishes. I had a pasta with bacon, and a little extra pepper would have been nice. It wasn't on the menu, and because it was so busy, I didn't ask. The second time, we were initially the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered an appetizer for two and a suggested burger. It was another delicious dish. My only complaint is that the extra €6 for fries wasn't worth it. I don't think they're the fries listed on the menu, but I'm not 100% sure. I think they're supposed to be sweet potato fries, and it was a portion of regular, thin fries. Otherwise, I highly recommend going. It's an inexpensive restaurant, but it feels pricey.

Positive: The food tasted delicious and was beautifully presented. I was also pleased that there was a gluten-free pasta option. Contrary: After the meal, the plates were stacked in front of me, and oil dripped from the spoon onto my light-colored pants. When the waitress noticed, she just said, "Oh." Unfortunately, she didn't apologize and didn't do anything to clean it up.

Yesterday was a wonderful evening. We had reserved online and got a nice table upstairs by the window. The service was friendly, even when the restaurant was full. The starters and main courses were appetizingly presented and very tasty. The prices are a bit higher than at other restaurants, but they were justified given the quality and the lovely ambiance. We'd be happy to come back.

Bodenständiges Restaurant, gutes Essen, da ich auch schon in Georgien war, kann ich es einschätzen und fand es authentisch. Die Servicekräfte sind sehr jung, aber es klappt alles. Die Portionen sind groß, Beilagen muss man extra bestellen.

My husband and I had dinner there today. We come from the north and went to watch football in Borussia Park. Table was reserved at 7 p.m. and we were allowed to get to our table 20 minutes earlier. Unfortunately there was only a table available upstairs on the first floor, the air there was very stuffy and stale. But no matter, we were looking forward to the evening, which was supposed to be the end of a wonderful weekend. We each ordered a starter and a main course. The starter came quickly and was really very good. Then we cleared away and forgot to pick up the main course. When we asked the service about it after about 45 minutes, they were surprised. After another 10 minutes there was a “sorry, forgot”. Then another 10 minutes and our food came. And unfortunately we were disappointed again. My food was just lukewarm and my husband's was bland. There was a 10% discount when paying. Well meant but no excuse for us. Considering that this Italian restaurant was recommended by the H4 Hotel, it was a complete disappointment. It's a shame, it could have been a nice ending with a starter, main course, dessert, coffee specialty and grappa. We can't recommend it and think this place is completely overrated.

Six of us ate and had a nice table with good service. The food didn't convince us. The steak for 36 euros was tiny, as were the fries with the burger (6.50). The pasta was nicely prepared but tasted a bit bland… maybe the kitchen wasn't having the best day.

Inconspicuous in a commercial area, it turns out to be a delicate surprise. The interior is very attractive. Unfortunately, a bit too loud for conversations due to convincing acoustic optimization. The food was unusual and very tasty. The service was also friendly and quick.

Until recently - about 2 years - we enjoyed being guests at the Cottoneria, but that has changed recently. We have had the experience several times that the first floor only opens when the number of guests allows it. Yesterday evening again, we were assigned a table for two at the counter. These tables are so close together that you can easily follow the entire conversation at the neighboring table. But we have already experienced the same thing with the group. Sorry, when I go out to eat with my wife/friends, I want to have a quiet and nice conversation with them and not with strangers at the next table. After a few minutes we left the Cottoneria and went to see Nierskind. It was easy to get a table on the first floor, although there were still plenty of tables available on the ground floor. Apparently hospitality and customer satisfaction are defined differently here.

Had dinner there last Thursday. The reception was very friendly, as was the waiter for our table. He was apparently new and asked about the dish mentioned several times when taking the order. I had a salad Nice which was quite tasty. Unfortunately, I bit on a piece of sharp-edged plastic. That certainly wasn't part of it. When I pointed this out, the waiter said he would pass it on to the kitchen. There were wilted leaves on my companion's plate of market-fresh salads. A year ago I wasn't happy with the asparagus padta, where I had to look for the wafer-thin slices of asparagus with a magnifying glass. Back then, I had asked beforehand whether there was a lot of asparagus on it. My conclusion after several visits: La Cottoneria is completely overrated. Price and performance do not match.

Unfortunately I can't agree with the positive reviews :( 1. Our order was forgotten and we had to wait twice. 2. We ordered the "Bella Donna" salad and ate the "Panzarella" salad instead (we realized it later, unfortunately). 3. The pasta Tartufo was without salt and had no taste at all + the pasta was overcooked.

You can book a reservation online, which I think is great 👍🏻. Upon entering, you're immediately greeted warmly and asked if you need any assistance. Menus are already laid out, so you can choose a drink right away. The atmosphere is very cozy, reminiscent of a brewery. The food is delicious and absolutely reasonable in terms of value. After finishing the appetizer, we were asked if we could have the main course served. The appetizer can be shared without any problem; they provide plates accordingly. The chocolate cake for dessert is a hit 👌🏻👌🏻, it's worth it. Unfortunately, I couldn't take any more photos because my phone was dead. I will definitely come back.

We stopped by spontaneously on a Sunday. The waitress was friendly and efficient, but the portion was definitely too small for the price. It wasn't filling... We each had pasta, a drink, and shared dessert = €60. I've been there several times in the past, and the service was usually poor, but they've definitely improved that. The portion was never as small as this time (I always order pasta).

We had an overall successful stay at La Cottoneria. The food was excellent – ​​lovingly prepared and the taste was really a highlight. We had dinner at your restaurant today on my birthday. Unfortunately our visit was disappointing. After clearly communicating how we would like our pasta, my pasta arrived wrong after 30 minutes. Of course I asked for an exchange. The waitress informed us that it would take some time. But just two minutes later a new plate arrived, on which the correct type of pasta (tagliatelle) was used, but my previous spaghetti from the first plate was mixed with it. In addition, the portion was significantly smaller than that of the original plate and also compared to those of our table neighbors. To make matters worse, the pasta wasn't cooked properly. Such rude and careless behavior from the kitchen is unacceptable to us, which is why we will not visit the restaurant in the future. In addition, we would like to point out that the online menu shows significantly cheaper prices than those on site, which is very misleading for guests.

It was the pre-Christmas season and accordingly busy. Nevertheless, the dishes came quickly and for everyone at the table at the same time. The service is very professional, friendly and discreetly attentive and the cuisine is extremely good. There is a general menu and an additional daily menu, from which we ordered, among other things, ox packets with red cabbage, chestnuts and napkin dumplings, super tasty. We'll definitely be back.

There are free parking spaces in front of the building and in the underground car park. The 2 floors of the restaurant can be reached by stairs and elevator. The food was delicious, but unfortunately the portions were too small. At a price of €4 for Bolten, I think you can expect a freshly tapped beer instead of being served a bottle. When we made reservations as a group, no one pointed out to us that there was a Christmas party with bass-heavy music taking place on the entire ground floor. On the upper floor, the concrete ceiling and installations are not covered; you could only have a conversation while screaming. The staff was attentive and tried hard, but had to contend with the fact that the restaurant was fully booked, so the first drink came after 30 minutes. Later in the evening, when the upper floor became emptier, people were sitting in front of empty glasses as the staff concentrated on the lower floor.

I haven't been here for a long time and I miss a few things. I think it's a shame that the actual idea with the buttons has died out. That worked out really well for me. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable. The service was very and very pleasantly attentive and friendly and quick and the food all tasted very good. The food was as it should be: hot or cold. The plates are always beautifully decorated. The espresso came in a hot cup and as hot as it was, it made me very happy ❤️ I want to come back to the operation: A coat rack was immediately moved to make it even more comfortable for us. We came with two dogs and were quickly provided with water for the dogs without us having to ask. Once we accidentally put the cutlery in the kitchen after the starter and new cutlery came straight away without any request. All in all, very attentive, just as you would wish if you could choose 🙏 Thank you very much for this great evening experience and this culinary delight.

Very tasty homemade pasta. If the food had arrived at the same time there would have been 5 points for service, so unfortunately we had to start the meal very differently.

Unfortunately disappointed. The staff was friendly and nice, the starter platter for 2 was also delicious BUT for the main course I had truffle pasta with additional beef fillet. The noodles were ok, I wasn't 100% convinced but it's a matter of taste. The meat, which was paid extra for, was a disgrace and inedible. The pieces were burnt and tasted like that, a light one I tried was actually just tendon. I also reported this to the waitress and all I got was “the kitchen is sorry”. At a restaurant that charges 30 euros for pasta with meat, I expect different service. There was no offer to bring new meat, nor was the meat that I didn't eat taken off the bill. It's a shame, that's where good service falls short for me

Pasta with seafood and greasy Parmesan on top - that's not possible and no Italian eats it like that! Apart from the fact that it is appropriate to serve the parmesan separately, I let my plate go back. That wasn't on the menu either. The “new” food came two minutes later, from the looks of it, just picked out the parmesan, put it on another plate, put a few leaves of lamb's lettuce on it and only half as much. And there was still parmesan in there. It's a shame about the otherwise good food and the otherwise very friendly service, even if the five pasta dishes we ordered didn't come at the same time. The atmosphere was also pleasant. I left the restaurant with mixed impressions. Really a shame!

Unfortunately far too expensive for what you get. Ready-made salad, pickled vegetables and beetroot took over the vegetarian starter plate. And then for €30 that's not quite right. Pesto and mushrooms were definitely good. Carpaccio was unfortunately also very disappointing, the beef was folded several times, the parmesan was not there and in the end it was mostly pesto. Probably good for some, but unfortunately not suitable for me. Everything is a bit weak, ultimately not inedible but absolutely unsatisfactory in terms of price-performance. What would Gordon Ramsey say?

Big disappointment, it started with the long waiting time, even though the restaurant wasn't very full. The spaghetti carbonara had neither taste nor salt and the penne cichone was totally overcooked. When I complained about the problem, I was asked what I wanted now...I was given salt and pepper for the spaghetti...a no go.Der Other plates were brought new... again the pasta was overcooked, without salt, raw spinach and cold mozzarella on top (directly from the fridge). We then asked for the bill and left the plate. There wasn't even an apology. End of story: Goodwill discount of 10%.....€47.52 for an antipasto, 2 shandies and a plate of pasta... Not recommended!
