We received a very warm welcome, were allowed to make ourselves comfortable with our furry friends and they were immediately given a huge bowl of water. You can taste the relationship to the former restaurant in Brüggen. Everything was very fresh and super tasty. Sure, the ambience doesn't come close to Brüggen, but they really make an effort in this regard. The service was extremely friendly, we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

Was received very friendly. Top. Ordered to take away, well packaged. Tzatziki not edible. Was angry. Gyros top. Cheese top. Chicken skewers are also great. But the most important thing about gyros is tzatziki. But unfortunately not to eat.

Today, on Sunday lunchtime, I had dinner with a companion in Nostos. I called about 30 minutes in advance and was able to spontaneously reserve a table. I found the service to be very friendly, attentive and personable. With an empty bottle of Fanta, I was quickly asked if I wanted another one. The tables have a very thick base that interferes with legroom. I had trouble sitting comfortably. That was a shame, but not a major obstacle. We also found the music to be a bit too loud and a bit too bass-heavy. Maybe it was because of where we were sitting. We didn't have to wait long for our food. The ketchup was forgotten and also that I had ordered a larger portion of fries instead of rice. But that wasn't tragic at all. When the food came we were amazed. Finally a restaurant that doesn't skimp on portion size. The quality of the food is also excellent. We had absolutely nothing to complain about. In any case, I haven't eaten so well in a while. I also like the price/performance ratio. The restaurant and toilets are very clean. The room temperature was pleasant. However, there is still room for improvement when it comes to ambience. Empty walls and little decoration. I would like something more for the eye. The selection of dishes is good. Finally, I can say that I am looking forward to the next visit.

Last night we were at Nostos. Very nice atmosphere. Very friendly service. The starter platter for 22 euros could have been more lavish. We didn't get a salad for the main courses (which we only noticed today). Despite it being expressly mentioned in the menu. It was probably forgotten, even though the whole place was almost empty. But our mistake. Otherwise everything is ok.

We received a very friendly welcome and just as friendly service. Drinks came promptly and were well chilled. The menu (you can also see it on the website beforehand) is expanded with daily specials and offers a good selection without seeming arbitrary. We really enjoyed the food and would love to come back.

My last visit to Nostos Restaurant was an unforgettable culinary experience. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome and taken care of. The atmosphere was welcoming and authentic, with a charming Greek flair that immediately evoked holiday feelings. I would particularly like to highlight our waiter Christos. He was simply fantastic! His kindness, professionalism and attention to detail made our evening perfect. Christos took the time to explain the menu to us in detail and gave excellent recommendations. His knowledge of each dish and his passion for Greek cuisine were impressive. The food at Nostos was simply delicious. Every dish was freshly prepared and full of flavor. From the starters like the succulent souvlaki skewers to the main courses like the tender lamb chop, everything was outstanding. Another plus was the extensive wine list, which offered a great selection of Greek wines. Christos helped us choose the perfect wine for our meal, which made our dining experience even more complete. All in all, our evening at Nostos was a complete success. The excellent food, cozy atmosphere and outstanding service from Christos made this visit one of the best restaurant visits we have ever had. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Nostos to anyone looking for authentic Greek cuisine and first class service.

We ate at Nostos on Saturday and are almost 100 percent satisfied. There was only one small thing to complain about, namely when the restaurant filled up relatively quickly with guests It became increasingly difficult to order drinks or to get them afterwards. Otherwise, it was a really nice restaurant and great food. I'm still thrilled with everything. All in all, I recommend it. Thumbs up

I dined at Nostos restaurant this evening. I haven't eaten such a delicious steak in a long time, the starter plate I had beforehand had everything my heart could desire. Big compliments to the kitchen. The service was second to none. The drinks were nice and cold and quickly at the table. Very nice rooms, very modern furnishings invite you to linger for a long time.

I still know Nostos from Brüggen. No more comparison. The first time the food was good, the second time not. What a pity

Today we visited Nostos in MG for the first time We were very excited to see what it was like and whether the promise could be kept ("same quality, new team"). About the ambience: It is very cozy, the modern and the rustic have been combined here. The food: was as good as we remembered from Brüggen. Great. The steaks were grilled perfectly to our liking. We also got to try a new onion gravy that was really delicious. Thank you very much 👍🏼 The service: was very attentive without being intrusive. You could tell that they were still a little nervous, but that's okay too. We are all human! They put a lot of effort into it and we felt very comfortable. Thank you for the absolutely successful evening for Mother's Day 🍀

We hadn't eaten anything Greek and the plate looked rather plain, the rump steak was stringy, the restaurant can't be blamed for that, but it wasn't any fun, so be it. Some of the tables have no privacy and we had one like that, right in the middle of it all. The service is top. On the next visit we will eat something Greek.

I!!!I only rate the service!!! I tried to contact the restaurant several times. I wanted to request for a larger party (25 people). I wrote 2 emails and called a total of 6 times, all six times I was told on the phone that the boss would get back to me in 2 hours, unfortunately he never did. Unfortunately, that doesn't speak for good customer service, which is a shame. I can't say anything about the food.

We were here for the first time and became curious about an article in Urbano. A very nice atmosphere with delicious dishes and attentive service. Next time we'll also be interested in the dessert menu. This time there was no space left after the starter and main course ;-)

Unfortunately we didn't fully enjoy the food and drinks. The starter was lukewarm. The liver is well cooked. The rice tastes bland. The beer is also ice cold. Compliment the friendly service. We will make another visit. The atmosphere is inviting.

The food was very good and typically Greek, which is very difficult to find in this area if you know what typically Greek means. The waiters were a bit disorganized but always nice. The parking lot costs money if you don't mention it at the entrance! Please put up a sign!

The food was very good, the environment was really tasteful. It could have been a nice evening... We sat on the ground floor of the restaurant near the kitchen. Suddenly there was terrible shouting and screaming from the kitchen. The kitchen team was folded according to every trick in the book. Half the restaurant noticed. Some complained. The waitress seemed completely overwhelmed. It was probably more important to them to be freshly styled and spruced up than to serve guests. Both drinks and food take a very long time. You kept hearing that guests were complaining. The attempt to attract attention in order to order failed several times. The guests were very skillfully ignored - and it wasn't just our group! When ordering, questions were constantly asked and questions could not be answered. A mocha was brought in from which a lot of it was spilled. Waitress's comment: in Greece they say it brings good luck. Spoke and disappeared. Crème brûlée with fruit and ice cream was on the menu, only the cream with fruit was ordered. After about 30 minutes, however, the cream came more like pudding. The typical crisp surface of the cream was not present. Just sprinkled a little sugar on top. Complained about this and the missing fruit to the waitress. When she came back to the table she tried to lecture us about how the cream was always cold?!?!? Service desert Germany!!! Conclusion: the food was excellent, the service was a disaster By the way, even though two components were missing, this strange cream was completely accounted for!!

Beautiful Greek. Good food in a stylish atmosphere. The food is classic Greek but with high quality ingredients. The waitress works quickly and looks very chic in her work clothes. The rooms are newly renovated in a good mix of modern and classic, and the seating is wonderfully comfortable. There is a large parking lot behind the restaurant (you should have your license plate unlocked outside of shopping hours). You can enter the house at ground level via the rear entrance/winter garden. You should definitely make a reservation, Nostos is very popular, especially for groups.

24.02.24 Edir. Wir versprochen wurden uns die Strafe für den nicht richtigen Parkverstoss vollständig erstattet. Das Essen ist gut aber die Parkplatzsituation Eine Frechheit. Als wir am 28.12.23 dort waren gab es im Haus eine Geburtstagsfeier. Dadurch hat es lange mit dem Essen gedauert. Das war uns eigentlich egal. Wir haben dadurch 120 Minuten im Lokal für ein Essen gebraucht. Allerdings überschritten wir dadurch die Parkplatzdauer und müssen nun an einer beauftragten Parkplatzüberwachungsgesellschaft über 35 Euro zahlen. Wir dürfen nun für den langsameren Service nochmals zahlen. Im Restaurant haben wir darüber im übrigen keinen Hinweis gesehen. Das wäre vermeidbar

Waren vor einer Woche dort. Bin noch nicht so weit um eine endgültige Bewertung zu posten. Möchte mir gerne noch ein eine weitere Meinung von mir persönlich einholen. Bis dahin bleibt es zunächst dabei.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort, um den Nachfolger des ehemaligen Mediterranos auszuprobieren. Fazit: Das ist ein ordentliches, gegenüber dem Vorgänger gehobeneres (und teureres) griechisches Restaurant. Den euphorischen Kommentaren anderer Nutzer können wir uns aber nach dem ersten Besuch nicht anschließen. Im Einzelnen: Das Ambiente ist jetzt sehr viel gediegener und schöner, die Möblierung scheinbar komplett erneuert. Durch Anbringung von Lärmschutzelementen hat man auch die Geräuschkulisse etwas reduziert (das war im Mediterranos immer störend). Der Empfang und die Betreuung waren überschwänglich, so als sei man seit Jahren per Du und eng befreundet. Das mag vielen Gästen gefallen, uns war es ein bisschen zu direkt und distanzarm. Das Essen: Zu beiden Gerichten gehörte ein gemischter Salat, den wir gemeinsam auf einem Teller serviert bekamen. Kann man so machen. Das Dressing war o.k., aber keine Offenbarung. Das Hauptgericht war (uns viel zu) reichhaltig, schön dekoriert, das Fleisch ausgezeichnet, die Pommes allerdings dick und für unseren Geschmack zu weich. Das Preisniveau fanden wir relativ hoch. Sicher ist die Erhöhung der Umsatzsteuer zum neuen Jahr schon eingepreist und vielleicht trübt das unser Bild. Die Zahlungsabwicklung war o.k. mit ordentlicher Rechnung und Kartenzahlung, die Kennzeichenangabe wegen der Nutzung der Parkplätze ist auch in Ordnung. Der obligatorische Ouzo zum Abschied wurde uns angekündigt, bekommen haben wir ihn aber nicht. Wir werden noch einmal dorthin gehen und sehen, wie sich das Restaurant weiter entwickelt.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden!!!! Das Essen war sehr lecker von der Vorspeise Hauptgericht und am Ende ein leckere süße Dessert!!!!!

Schlichtweg über fordert !!! Der Service Katastrophe .Salate nach 2 maligem nachfragen nicht bekommen. Und für diese Leistungen völlig überteuert.Hätte sehr gerne etwas anderes geschrieben!!

Wir waren seit der Neueröffnung bereits mehrfach dort essen und freuen uns sehr, dass es das Nostos wieder gibt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und von sehr guter Qualität. Besonders die Vorspeisen sind ein Traum! Der Service ist gut und immer freundlich. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und man fühlt sich wohl. Und wenn das Essen mal etwas länger dauert, wird einem das freundlich erklärt, warum das der Fall ist. Wer erwartet, dass er hier innerhalb von 15 Minuten sein Essen serviert bekommt und nur Wert auf große Portionen legt, ist bei den einschlägigen griechischen Imbissen sicher besser aufgehoben. Wir mögen das Nostos und kommen gerne wieder!

Hatte mir davon viel mehr versprochen da ja die Information, Nostos aus Brüggen, sei Verwandtschaft, in der Zeitung stand. Kein Vergleich, Nostos aus Brüggen war immer fantastisch. Das Essen heute in Rheydt war kaum gewürzt und sehr trocken. Die Vorspeise war toll. Der Service war alles andere als aufmerksam. Für mich war das der Erste und letzte Besuch in diesem Lokal. Schade, wirklich.

Vorab verstehe ich nicht wie dieser Laden an die ganzen 5 Sterne Bewertungen kommt.das Essen dort ist eine einzige Katastrophe Hacksteak Spieß und Reis schmecken wässrig und sind schlecht gewürzt.auf dem Tisch stehen weder Gewürze noch Essig oder Öl Beilagensalat ist gar nicht gekommen. Haben wir nach dem probieren der Hauptspeisen dann aber auch nicht mehr reklamiert. Das Personal ist freundlich aber überfordert . Wein und Essen sind für diese Qualität viel zu teuer Schade für dieses schön eingerichtete Restaurant.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal im Restaurant Nostos ehemaliges (Mediteranos). Wir wurden am Eingang Herzlich empfangen. Wir haben das Restaurant kaum wieder erkannt. Neue Bestuhlung und neue Tische. Das Ambiente lädt zum länger verweilen ein. Es läuft nicht die gewohnte griechische Musik, wie man das aus anderen Restaurants kennt, sondern entspannte Lounge Musik. Das Essen war sehr köstlich. Der griechische Rot Wein hat alles abgerundet. Super service, die Kellner waren sehr freundlichen und sehr aufmerksam. Zum Schluss gab es noch ein Ouzo aufs Haus. Wir werden das Restaurant Nostos auf jedenfall noch mal besuchen.

Wir waren das erste auf Empfehlung von Christina , in dem Restaurant und wurden positiv überrascht. Wir können die Negativen Bewertungen überhaupt nicht verstehen und Nachvollziehen. Das Personal hat uns super freundlich begrüßt wir fühlten uns direkt wohl und ziemlich heimisch und Familär. Die Vorspeisen Platte war der Hammer danach könnten wir schon nicht mehr, wir haben unsern Hauptgang fast nicht geschafft weil die Portion wirklich so groß sind und die Qualität super das Fleisch zart , auf den Punkt gegart und Beilagen und Salate und Brot und Ouzo aufs Haus . Wir haben uns Pudelwohl gefühlt. Es wird immer diese unzufriedenen Menschen geben, denen man es nicht recht machen kann . Ein ganz klasses lokal und mit abstand Preis /leistung und Service mit an 1 Stelle in Mönchengladbach. Wir freuen uns aufs nachste mal bei euch .

schon beim Eintreten angenehm überrascht. Das gesamte Lokal ist vom pseudo griechischem Kitsch befreit, erscheint licht und einladend. Warme Erdtöne dominieren. Man fühlte sich gleich willkommen. Das Essen war köstlich Fisch und Leber auf den Punkt gegrillt, das Grillgemüse sortenreich und mit Biss, der Vorspeisensalat einmal quer durch das Salat Beet, nicht erschlagen von Mayonnaise. Die Bedienung aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Bei gutem Wein in diesem angenehmen Ambiente verplauderten wir einen schönen Abend. Endlich wieder ein geselliger, kulinarisch guter Treffpunkt zwischen Schmölderpark und Stadtwald. An der etwas kühlen RaumTemperatur wird gearbeitet. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder

Ein Besuch im Nostos ist eine authentische kulinarische Reise nach Griechenland! Unsere Weihnachtsfeier im Nostos war einfach großartig! Die tolle Atmosphäre, das gesamte Team und natürlich das köstliche Essen, trug dazu bei, dass es ein unvergesslicher Abend wurde. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam und freundlich, was den Abend noch angenehmer machte. Die köstlichen, griechischen Spezialitäten waren meisterhaft zubereitet. Die Getränkeauswahl war vielfältig und gut abgestimmt, und der Service war prompt und professionell. Insgesamt war unsere Weihnachtsfeier im Nostos ein voller Erfolg. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für die hervorragende Gastfreundschaft und das sehr leckere Essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nostos wie früher, einfach lecker

Ich war jetzt schon öfters bei Nostos essen, das Restaurant hat eine richtig familiäre Atmosphäre, das Personal ist sehr sympathisch und herzlich, das Ambiente ist eine Mischung aus Industrial Style und Stuckarbeiten, gefällt mir sehr gut und richtig gemütlich. Das Essen ist hervorragend, habe schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen und würde behaupten das das Nostos keine Konkurrenz hat in Sachen Qualität und Gemütlichkeit. Bin begeistert und ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen ,das wird definitiv meine Stamm Location für Feiern, Familienfeste oder auch nur ein Kaffee ,kommt vorbei ,es wird sich lohnen .

Sooooo gut wie früher in Brüggen. Ein absolutes MUSS für den, der auf Mediterrane/ Griechische Küche steht. Leider konnte nicht das ganze alte Personal übernommen werden. Aber auch das neue Personal ist sehr aufmerksam. Ich kann es nur absolut empfehlen. Deswegen 6 Sterne für Nostos.

Wir waren heute Mut unserem Kegel Verein hier mit 9 Personen aufgrund der sehr guten Rezessionen . Wir wurden von einer super herzlichen und liebenswerten Frau empfangen und zu unserem Tisch im hinteren Bereich gebracht . zuerst ein. Nettes schwätzchen gehalten und einen tollen eiskalten ouzo bekommen. Toll eingerichtet und super platz für Gruppen. Riesen Portionen, Vorspeisenteller für alle war schon genug.so viele leckerchen und auch hochwertige Qualität mit allem auch gambas, Muscheln, Tintenfisch, mehrer Soßen, Brot Gemüse ,Schafskase, Tomaten,Paprika. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und alle waren satt und glücklich.. Wir werden unseren Stammtisch nach hier verlegen wöchentlich. Das macht Spaß und immer ein witzchen auf Lager. Ihr seid spitze einfach und so herzlich. Danke von uns allen ;-)

Sehr schön renoviertes Restaurant, man wird freundlich von den Gastgebern in Empfang genommen und gibt im Lokal sein Autokennzeichen durch, damit man zeitlos und kostenfrei Parken kann. Der Service kümmert sich aufmerksam um die Gäste und der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Leckeres Essen in gemütlichem Ambiente mit angenehmer Musik im Hintergrund. :)

Endlich ein Grieche, der das Fleisch nicht hinrichtet. Noch nie so saftiges und auch lecker gewürztes Souvlaki und Gyros gegessen. Einzig der sehr kleine Klecks Zaziki wurde allem nicht gerecht. Zudem noch ein unglaublich nettes Team. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Personal ist super nett und aufmerksam, das Essen ist köstlich genau so wie die Getränke. Wir waren jetzt schon 3 mal da und es hat uns jedesmal mehr beeindruckt!!

Wir waren gestern das erste Mal im Nostos Essen. Sehr schön eingerichtetes Lokal. Bequeme Stühle und Sitzbänke. Service war sehr zuvorkommend und sehr nett. Sehr leckeres Grieschiches Essen, der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Es gibt vor Ort einen großen Parkplatz , es ist ein allgemein Parkplatz mit heranliegenden Lebensmittel Läden. Parkdauer ist auf 75 min terminiert. Jedoch wenn man im Restaurant sein Kennzeichen angibt, wird es freigeschaltet und man kann solange Parken bis man es verlässt. Wir werden widerkommen 👍

Super Restaurant ist zum empfahlen gern wieder super!!!!

Wir waren am 23.12.2023 dort mit zwei Kindern 4. Jahre und 11 Monate wurden superschnell bedient. Die Kinder wurden hierbei berücksichtigt. Kinderstuhl etc. wurde gestellt. Zum Essen kann ich nur sagen erste Sahne die Vorspeisenplatte für zwei kann ich nur empfehlen. Zu den kommen die Hauptspeisen mit dem leckeren Salat. Wir haben einen Garnelenteller genommen und einen kalamar Teller

Schon beim betreten des Ladens wird man herzlich begrüßt und zu Tisch geführt. Der Laden macht im gesamten einen sehr netten Eindruck und man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben und heimisch. Das Essen ist sehr köstlich und das Personal freundlich. Es ist ein tolles Ambiente und lädt zum Wiedersehen ein.

Ein ganz tolles stylevolles lokal .Ein so sympathisches Familien Unternehmen, große Portionen , einfach lecker und nur zu empfehlen . Wir kommen bald wieder .

Sehr nettes Personal und richtig leckeres Essen. Wir haben dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier abgehalten und es gab nichts zu kritisieren, alles war top.

Am 16.12.23 Weihnachtsfeier im Restaurant Nostos gefeiert einfach nur top Ambiente und Essen super man fühlt sich wie zu Hause.

Wir sind da zufällig Mittags "gelandet", waren im Action. Vor lauter Leckereien ist man erstmal überwältigt. Teigtaschen mit verschiedenen. Füllungen, kleine " Törtchen ", Kekse, etc. Keine Massenware. Frisch "renoviert": Sehr schönes Ambiente, alles sehr sauber. ( Da wird auch zwischendurch mal zwischen den Tischen gekehrt) Herrlich, gehen bald wieder hin.
