Doesn't keep his word and let me down when booking a VIP room. very funny

We had mezze for 2 and two drinks. The atmosphere is nice, the service is attentive and the quality of our order is good. There was nothing to complain about. Might be interesting for some: No alcohol is sold.

Me and a friend visited the restaurant at the weekend. Even at the entrance, the waitress wasn't necessarily friendly, she said we could choose a seat because the restaurant was very empty and there were maybe 10 visitors. We sat down at a table for 4 as it has a bench. As soon as we walked in we noticed that almost all the tables were dirty, just like ours. After 15-20 minutes of waiting at the dirty table, the person who greeted us at the entrance came and passively aggressively asked us to sit at a table because it was too big for us, even though other guests who were also visiting the restaurant in pairs sat at one four people sat at a table. When we moved to a smaller table that we had been asked to sit at, it was still full of dirty dishes and instead of cleaning them straight away we had to wait again for about 10 minutes. After she cleared away these dishes, however, the dirty table was not wiped off and so there was another long wait until the table was clean (still greasy) and our order was only taken after another wait. The food (soup) came quickly and tasted quite good. When it came to paying, who would have thought, we had to wait again. The waitress was completely overwhelmed and the restaurant wasn't clean (windows, tables, floor) except the toilets. It was good that the restaurant had a prayer room. My girlfriend and I both work in the catering sector, but something like this is outrageous and unhygienic.

Because of the good Google reviews, we decided to definitely come to QULIS and traveled 50 km away. Unfortunately, we are anything but enthusiastic and cannot understand the really good Google reviews. At the beginning of November it was so cold in the restaurant that you had to keep your jacket on and it was still dark, apparently they also saved on lighting. Food was "Okay" for our taste. But we can quickly think of at least 5 restaurants in Mannheim City (also oriental) where you can get much better food and at more moderate prices. When we paid, our plates weren't even cleared away by the service, they were just left standing. Even the food that was left couldn't be packed upon request. Very, very unfortunate. The ambience would be really great if you turned on the heating and lamps in winter. It was very uncomfortable for us.

Absolutely disappointing! Even though we were there at 11 p.m. and the restaurant is open until 2 a.m., we weren't allowed to sit at the window seats because apparently it had already been cleaned. The absolute shock: mice were running around in the store! Everything else is hygienic and customer-friendly, but not this. Very, very disappointing!! No recommendation!!

When the food finally arrived, some of it was cold and the taste was not convincing. In addition, the portions of the main courses were extremely small and there were no side dishes such as rice or potatoes; we had to order these additionally, which made the already poor price-performance even worse. We would like to highlight the atmosphere positively: The restaurant is very beautiful and elegantly designed. The desserts were also really delicious. However, we wanted to have our dessert packed to take away, but the waiter simply brought us the packaging and we had to pack the food ourselves. For a restaurant that looks so classy, ​​we found this outrageous and inappropriate.

Instagram only shows good things, but that certainly wasn't it. The food for us (6 people) arrived very late. Mine was even ice cold and the others were lukewarm to warm. The appetizer only came during the meal... The shop wasn't overcrowded and yet the waitresses were overwhelmed and seemed slow in their actions. A Turkish restaurant should have one or two Turkish employees and not just non-Turkish employees.

All top food and above. But what's top notch, Nino is the man of honor. It's only because of him that we come back to Mannheim and again to Qulis.

The receptionist/despatcher upstairs named NINO was very disrespectful to us! This is definitely not how you treat guests! Was a reason to get up immediately! Definitely not a recommendation!

Six of us were there yesterday and everything was great. First we had a delicious meal and then chilled in the lounge upstairs. Thanks to Nino for the great service – the shop is definitely recommended. Many greetings from Berlin.

We were there for the first and last time. There is no parking space. The food portions are tiny and overpriced. The waiters were overwhelmed and very unfriendly. I had to speak to 3 waiters until I got cutlery and ketchup even though the food was already there. When I paid, the waiter snatched the EC device out of my hand and didn't even say goodbye. We actually wanted to smoke a shisha there after dinner, but the unfriendly person made us leave voluntarily.

What a beautiful shop! The service is so fast that I had to wait an hour for the food I ordered to arrive. The food tastes so good that they brought the künefe first and then the starter... when I noted my order, my kunefe arrived late and was also soggy. I hope you've read this far and understood how understaffed and poor the service is. Don't expect to come here :)

So since the first recession has been erased apparently. There were 4 of me there with someone on Saturday. The lady at the front was very unpleasant and unfriendly at the same time. Trying to get rid of customers so quickly is not really economically good. They said there was no free space outside and we shouldn't wait. Because it won't work. When our companion wanted to use the toilet, it said "only for customers"? Apparently the store doesn't want to take in customers. The funny and stupid looks from the lady. Never again! Not recommended! Scrap! Right from the start!

Pure disaster. It takes about half an hour for the waitress to come and take the order. It takes 1 hour for the ordered drinks and dishes to be delivered. If the order comes complete then you can be happy. When you remind us again about your order, you will be rudely approached and insulted. Very unfriendly service and the service is terrible!

Frankly, I do not recommend it. I have nothing against the working waiters. They only work for service and they are great young people, but there is no authorized person. The food was bad, my shirt was trash because of the chair with wires coming out, so I advise you not to be fooled by the exaggerated advertisements on TikTok and Instagram, it's a waste of money you spent.

I was there with my friend. There was hardly anything going on. We were allowed to choose a seat inside, but many of the tables were still dirty and had dishes on them from previous guests. The waiters paid no attention to us, we sat for 15 minutes waiting for someone to take our order. However, no one came and we left the restaurant again. At the door they just said goodbye to us even though we only came in 20 minutes ago. They didn't even ask if everything was okay. Never again!!

First of all, they said welcome at the door. After we got to the table, we waited for the waiter for 10 minutes, they were chatting and laughing among themselves, and no waiter came to us and asked for our order. The service is outstanding – friendly, attentive and always striving to provide guests with a perfect experience. The people here are warm and make you feel welcome straight away. The food and drinks are simply great! Particularly noteworthy is the excellent quality of the meat and the traditional plates and platters, which not only taste great but are also a visual delight. There is also the option to enjoy a shisha upstairs. The cozy ambience and relaxed atmosphere make Quilis a perfect place to spend an evening with friends. An absolute insider tip in Mannheim – we will definitely be back!

They get bad reviews here deleted by filing a defamation complaint with Google...very weak Here again my experience in summer 2023 We were in the restaurant at the weekend and sat on the terrace. It took a while for the waitress to come to the table, which was okay. We ordered and the drinks only came after 40 minutes!!!!!! We asked about it 4 times, from 3 different employees. They said that the bartender was alone and that the drinks would be coming soon. There was really hardly anything going on, neither inside nor outside. It was acted as if the pineapple juice had to be freshly prepared. This was just poured into a glass :-D It's not possible to serve the drinks for 40 minutes at a hot temperature!!! The service was absolutely unsuitable. One mistake after another. When we ordered the food we gave her the numbers and she asked us what it was. So not knowing your own dishes is not possible! Even if you do, you can look for the numbers on your own inside and don't force customers to look for them again on their cell phones. Placing the plates or drinks should also be practiced again. After an hour she came back and had to ask again what exactly one of us had ordered. Afterwards she came at some point and asked if it was ok if the one dish could come later. 15 minutes after the food came, the last menu arrived, which was supposed to come later. 15 minutes later is not normal. Now to eat: entrecôte = dry, tough and burnt. The rice was really bad. Some things burned. Absolutely not recommended. Neither the food and above all absolutely not the service and the entire store! Very disappointing. There was also a group sitting behind us who had completely complained. Some gave all of their food back and the others barely touched it. There was no concession from us. People asked whether the food was tasty. We said no and stated the reason, which led to a discussion. The waitress had no idea how the food was prepared anyway, which then only became more embarrassing and there was no point in talking about it at all. The location is really nice, but unfortunately not recommended at all.

I recently stayed at Qulis and really loved it! The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I would particularly like to highlight Fadi, who made the visit a special experience with his charming and professional manner. Fadi is definitely one of the best waiters I've ever met - attentive, warm and always with a smile on his face. The entire team at Qulis ensures that you as a guest feel completely comfortable. I highly recommend this cafe and will definitely come back!

We didn't eat anything, just drank something. Service was very friendly but super slow, often forgot something and dropped tablets several times (!). The price was pretty high and the service was just too bad. The coffee was only lukewarm, the bill only came after repeated inquiries... as far as the prices are concerned, sorry: no.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Qulis Restaurant, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The ambience is modern and stylish, spread over two floors, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The Turkish food at Qulis is first class. I would particularly like to highlight the Adana Kebap, which was simply delicious – perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The desserts are also an absolute must and leave nothing to be desired. Not to be forgotten is the excellent shisha, which offers a long, intense and consistent smoking experience. The taste and quality are exceptional and make the visit a completely successful experience. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating, which rounded off the visit to Qulis perfectly. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant to everyone - a culinary highlight in Mannheim that you shouldn't miss! ☺️

We were there today and it was really beautiful. The team was super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is really nice and the food tasted great. There is a super huge selection of different food, desserts, non-alcoholic cocktails, milkshakes and breakfast. The fact that you can smoke shisha and order small snacks straight afterwards and there are games also makes the evening perfect

I was at this restaurant recently and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The glasses were dirty and the entire atmosphere seemed unhygienic. There were also far too few waiters, which meant everything took a long time. The staff was not only overwhelmed, but also extremely rude. When we smoked outside, we were literally chased away. Overall, a disappointing experience that I cannot recommend.

Today we had to pay for a drink that we didn't drink. We always order this drink, but today it didn't taste good at all. There was far too much water and milk and almost no strawberries at all. You could even tell by the color of the drink without tasting it. Anyway, that's what we said and the lady swapped it for us, but it still tasted the same. We mentioned this at the checkout, but the two employees didn't respond. The man with glasses at the door downstairs was so rude and said we still had to pay. It's a real shame because we always liked it here... In the pictures you can see what the drink normally looks like and what it looked like today!

A very nice place in Mannheim to come and eat or just have cocktails and shisha. We were well received, the cocktails were really delicious and the shisha well prepared. The waiter recommended a taste to us and it was really great!

Very disappointing welcome and staff.

This store is the largest juice store You usually only get in if you have a female with you. As soon as there is no female with you, you are sorted out. Or you try to keep the quota of women high. Was there several times, they always said it was full, but the place was just empty (even after smoking shisha for 2 hours, the place was still empty) Since it happened often, we tested it first, went in alone, was sorted out, it said it was completely reserved, not 2 minutes sent a colleague in with a female person and lo and behold, suddenly you have a place. It's simply a marketing ploy to pretend everything is full, but unfortunately that's not the case.

Table reservation via WhatsApp was quick and easy. We all enjoyed the food and it was all served at the same time. We were also satisfied with the service. But the hygiene in the toilets was terrible. Which is why we would give this restaurant a wide berth. A pity.

We were canceled 3 minutes before arrival with a group of 20 people. We no longer received any messages via WhatsApp. Shortly before arrival and on the phone, the tables in the extra room were confirmed with a minimum consumption of €35 per person. It's an outrage, there wasn't even an apology or an explanation. Had our phone number and you could have called us directly. Then we would have saved ourselves the journey. We've left a lot of money lying around in this store, but that certainly wasn't going to happen again. 1 star is too much Answer to the answer! Of course the table was confirmed to me over the phone. All that was asked in writing was whether the young people had the same minimum consumption or whether it would then be cheaper? The gentleman on the phone said we can come and we don't even have to pay extra for the room rent as stated in the WhatsApp. It seems that you have a really big communication problem in your store. It would have been fair on your part if you had simply called to let us know that the room has now been removed. But that was too much for you. Long story short. You have definitely lost us as customers.

Seldom has there been such disappointment as with Qulis…. When I had breakfast there a few months ago, I wanted to eat something there with my friends to break my fast. We made reservations three days in advance. When we arrived, we kindly asked the man at reception that we didn't want to break our fast in the smoking area. Unfortunately, we still ended up in this area. We kindly asked the waiter if we could eat outside the smoking area... but we were told that he couldn't help us... Our water arrived about 15 minutes after breaking our fast and we had to wait more than 1.5 hours before we got our food. The delayed food was very cold and the salt for the fries on my plate of chicken skewers was distributed in large quantities across the entire plate, so that it was simply no longer appetizing or almost impossible to tolerate. Furthermore, the music was so loud that I couldn't even hear the voice of the person in front. It wasn't possible to pay by card in the smoking area even though we only ate something and we had to run to the bank after all these events. I am very disappointed because I came mainly from Frankfurt… I would have expected more from Qulis, as it is actually a very cool and relaxed place in downtown Mannheim.
