I visited Qulis and was absolutely thrilled! The food was amazing – fresh, delicious, and prepared with love. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel immediately welcome. The shisha is also top-notch – very aromatic and pleasant to smoke. Overall, a fantastic atmosphere where you'll want to linger. Highly recommended!

Service didn't come. After calling several times and waiting for about 40 minutes, they finally came. However, they forgot to bring a drink. I asked after 20 minutes. She said yes, but nothing had come. I asked again. Nothing came again. Then she came again and said there was a technical problem. I asked someone else. She sent the waitress back to us. She didn't offer a discount or an apology. The toilet door doesn't lock, and there's a bowl in the toilet for money. The person who paid the bill then took the tip, even though no one said so.

There were two of us there and unfortunately, our experience wasn't a good one. Our request for a more comfortable seat was declined – on the grounds that two people are only allowed to sit at a table for two and four people at a table for four. However, it was noticeable that other guests were also not seated strictly according to this rule. Even after consulting the manager, our request was denied. We had to eat at a regular table with chairs and weren't allowed to move to the more comfortable lounge seats afterwards, even though we would have liked to place more orders. Apparently, they place more emphasis on rigid seating and maximum capacity than on guest satisfaction. This seems very money-oriented and unwelcoming. It's a shame – a nice location in itself, but given this inflexible and unfriendly treatment, we're considering whether we'll ever return. Unfortunately, we don't recommend it.

There were five adults and two children, and the waiter wasn't too happy about it, even if he looked at us. Children weren't allowed to sit outside because they smoked shisha, which is understandable, but a shame given the nice weather. And then, despite asking several times, the right drink wasn't brought. We had to wait quite a long time, and our food was cold. I wouldn't go there again with children.

My previous review was deleted, so this time I have absolutely no problem describing everything in detail – because we experienced disastrous service. That day (never again!), we spontaneously decided to go to this restaurant with friends. We were very hungry, and since the restaurant looks very chic inside, we came full of anticipation – but ended up leaving completely annoyed. The service was extremely rude as soon as we entered. We should have left immediately, but we didn't take it too seriously at first. We had to wait an unnecessarily long time for our food, even though there were only six other guests besides us. The food was delicious, but as long as it was stuck in our throats, it didn't matter. While we waited, no one paid any attention to us. Furthermore, the waitress in charge of our table addressed us in an inappropriately friendly tone – as if we were old friends, not paying guests. I also explicitly pointed out that I absolutely did not want her to address me informally, as she is at least ten years younger than me. Instead of apologizing, she was initially shocked and couldn't understand why she should address me formally. This only made the situation more awkward. Up until we left the restaurant, we never felt comfortable. The money and the food were definitely not worth it. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would—but I'm forced to give one star. Instead of considering the staff, reviews are simply deleted in an attempt to cover up the disrespect. I'm truly angry and cannot recommend this restaurant in any way. You can't treat the guests you like well and fob off others with forced, poor service.

The food was okay, but took a disproportionately long time. We waited over an hour for a Kaiserschmarn (a pancake with a thin layer of smoked pancakes). After asking several times, we were told "ready in a minute." It finally arrived after about 80 minutes, and it was cold. The pipes were a disgrace. The bill arrived incorrectly, with more than we had ordered. After we pointed this out to the overwhelmed and slow waiters, they responded only hesitantly. All in all: -Service: poor, slow, and incorrect -Food: takes WAY too long, arrives half-cold, and is often incorrect -Pipes: The tobacco selection is disappointing, and they need to practice making bowls again. If I could, I wouldn't give it a single star. NOT RECOMMENDED!!

I had to order my Coke several times, then the waiter came and gave me a half-full Coke. After I asked him about it, he claimed it was supposed to be that way. Only after a thorough explanation did he understand that the Coke was already half full. We had to wait about an hour and a half for our food, and parts of our orders were even forgotten. The atmosphere in the shop is good, but the service is unfortunately disastrous, thus detracting from the overall experience.

Absolutely disappointing. The bill was incorrect, the Kaiserschmarren took over an hour to arrive, and at one point we were even served an already opened and half-full bottle of Coke. Despite repeated requests, our orders weren't brought, but were simply dismissed with an annoyed "coming right away." Such unprofessional and chaotic service is unacceptable in a restaurant. The prices charged for this service are simply disrespectful. We certainly won't be back. The ambiance was okay.

I visited the restaurant/shisha bar with high expectations, but was unfortunately completely disappointed. Upon arrival, the staff seemed stressed and inattentive. We had to wait forever for anyone to come to our table – even though it wasn't even particularly busy. Ordering felt like an eternity. Drinks either arrived very late or only after repeated requests. When they finally appeared on the bill, we realized we had been overcharged. When we pointed this out, the staff seemed more annoyed than solution-oriented. A simple "sorry" or a fair correction would have made a big difference, but instead, they argued and showed little understanding. What was particularly annoying was that you felt completely ignored throughout your entire stay. You had to practically wave down the staff if you needed anything – be it another drink, the shisha, or even just the bill. Attentive service is absolutely out of the question. You should know.

Unfortunately, our visit to Qulis was anything but pleasant. We were charged more for drinks than we actually ordered when we got the bill. Our warning was responded to hesitantly – a far cry from professionalism. The main course took an extremely long time to arrive, and dessert didn't arrive for over an hour. In the meantime, we received barely any attention – neither asked for any further requests nor received proper service. Overall, we felt unwelcome. It's a shame, because the ambiance has potential. But the service and organization were disastrous that evening. We definitely won't be returning.

So, to summarize: We went to this restaurant with a group of eight people and spent a considerable amount of money (a bill of over €500). I generally don't look at reviews immediately, preferring to see for myself in person. Unfortunately, we discovered that the service was unsatisfactory in several respects. Despite repeated requests, both food and drinks were not fully served. Towards the end of the evening, I wanted to order the Kaiserschmarrn – partly because of the appealing presentation on the website. Although the restaurant was quiet at the time, we had to wait more than an hour because our order was forgotten several times. In addition, we were billed for food and drinks that were either not brought to our table at all or simply forgotten. It's especially annoying when such discrepancies occur, especially with a larger bill. Overall, the visit was very disappointing. There is definitely potential, but the service quality, organization, and reliability of the ordering process leave a very strong impression.

Beautiful restaurant. The food is delicious. The waiters are friendly, but also very overwhelmed. The menu is only available via QR code. We waited 25 minutes until someone finally came to take our order. The tables are very close together, so the waiters constantly weave past us. It was quite annoying. The next disaster occurred when paying: there was only one card reader for the entire restaurant. We had another dish packed up, but we waited another 10-15 minutes for that. We won't be going there again!

We were at this place today for a breakfast spread. The breakfast was average, but the service was truly terrible. They left a cheese with a hair on it on the table, and I pointed it out to them and asked for a replacement. They did replace it, but it was incredibly annoying that they acted as if it were a favor, without any apology or embarrassment. Feedback on our visit to Seydioğlu Our visit to Seydioğlu was unfortunately disappointing. After arriving, we had to wait about 30 minutes at a table before we were even noticed by the service staff. While we understood that the team might have been overwhelmed and tried to remain friendly, the start of the visit was not satisfactory. When a server finally arrived, we discovered that many of the dishes we would have liked to try were unavailable. Several times, we were told, "We don't do that" or "It's sold out." This was unfortunate, especially since we had high expectations—especially since the former Qulis enjoyed a very good reputation. Whether this standard can be maintained under Seydioğlu's new management remains to be seen. We hope that processes will improve and the menu will be more reliably available in the future.

The post was deleted again, shortly after the first time, but quite a bit of time has passed now... Very nice restaurant. The expectations were there. First of all, I never, or very rarely, leave bad reviews... but here we go: I, or rather, we, were bitterly disappointed. We were there in the early afternoon, and it wasn't particularly busy. Nevertheless, the waiter took forever to take our order. He was friendly, though! We ordered pancakes: atom pancakes (pistachios) and Istanbul pancakes (Nutella, banana, strawberries). I would never have thought to ask if the pancakes were freshly made, because that should be a given. Apparently not at Qulis. They were cold and definitely not fresh. I realize that in the kitchen, they try to prepare as much as possible in advance, but when it comes to pancakes, that seems a bit excessive. I was disappointed. The price-performance ratio isn't there, so to everyone: don't order it, it's absolutely not worth it. Neither in terms of taste nor freshness. They just looked pretty... All in all, a nice restaurant, a nice waiter who was completely lame and didn't really have a handle on things, and terrible food. Not worth a repeat visit...

Qulis Restaurant – a huge disappointment! We had a reservation for 20 people well in advance, with clear arrangements. We were assured that the tables would be fully set, with appetizers on the table – everything should be ready. But what awaited us was the complete opposite. When we arrived, nothing was prepared. No tables set, no greeting, no organization. We literally stood at the door and had to watch as they hastily tried to set up the tables in the first place. It was just unpleasant. The "administrator," with whom we had discussed everything, suddenly denied everything. He had made big promises – and then brazenly claimed to our faces that he had never said them. Pure lies! Such behavior is unprofessional and disrespectful. The atmosphere was unpleasant: dark, loud, chaotic. No one from the service came to us. No drinks, no order – nothing. Only after complaining did they bring us water and appetizers. An hour after our arrival! We were looking forward to a lovely evening, but instead we were ignored and had to fight to even be served. The service was overwhelmed and unfriendly. It seemed as if no one had even remotely prepared for our reservation. This is no way to treat guests – especially not with such a large group. We are disappointed, frustrated, and frankly speechless. Honestly: Anyone who treats guests this way shouldn't be accepting large groups. Zero organization, zero respect, zero professionalism. Never again! And we can only advise against this for anyone who values respect, service, and hospitality.

Disaster! I was there with a friend, and the place was almost empty: we waited more than half an hour before someone even came to take our order. When someone did, we ordered two pides together. After 60 (!!!) minutes, her pide finally arrived, and she started eating. After half an hour, my food still wasn't there! An employee kept giving me a "two" with his finger, saying it was two minutes. About 50 minutes after my friend got hers, my food finally arrived. She was already finished by then. Absolutely terrible service. We arrived and the restaurant was completely empty downstairs. I can't tell how many people were upstairs. After 10 minutes, no one had come to take our drink orders. We wanted to leave, but after the waiter walked downstairs and apologized, we sat down again. The waiter brought us our drinks and took our orders. Suddenly, the drilling started and we felt like we were on a construction site. After we complained about the noise, the waiter said it would be finished in 2 minutes. After 15 minutes of construction noise and our food getting cold on the counter and not being served because the waiter had gone back upstairs, we finally decided to pay for our drinks and leave. The two girls who came in after us also followed us. It seems they only respond to positive reviews, which is also very unprofessional. Very disappointing! Not recommended.

The shisha is really great💯. I smoked mine for almost 4 hours without a new bowl, and it still pulled well. Really strong💥 The food was also super delicious😋😋. I had a TULUM salad mixed with chicken😇everything was fresh and well-seasoned. The atmosphere is nice, modern, and spacious. It's a bit loud, but that's just part of what a shisha bar is like. One star deducted because you can't pay by card in the lounge area, which is a bit inconvenient🥲. Otherwise, highly recommended👌

Unfortunately our visit did not live up to expectations. Although the restaurant is really nicely decorated and the kitchen shows a lot of potential, the service was disappointing. We were seated at a dirty table which was only cleaned after about 20 minutes and at our request. The food was okay, but by no means special and something was forgotten when ordering. What I would like to say to the owner: You have a beautiful restaurant with a generous kitchen and tasteful furnishings. But organizationally, a lot of things seem chaotic. The service staff seem inexperienced and don't seem to be sufficiently trained in dealing with guests. A well-thought-out concept for smooth processes is apparently missing. For this reason, I would not recommend another visit at this time. Please use the great potential of your restaurant - it would be a real shame if it failed.

We were traveling for the first time with my boyfriend and took a trip from Frankfurt to Mannheim. We had seen some videos on TikTok and thought, this looks great - let's go. We ordered number 80. Padişah Sofrası for 1-2 people, which cost 60 euros. We were only served a small side salad, a lamb chop, an Adana skewer and a small piece of meat from the other types that were on the grill. We thought there was another plate coming or the salad was missing - so we waited. When we asked the waiter when the rest would come, he just said that was all there was to it. We were really disappointed – so little food for 60 euros! We definitely won't go there again.

We were there yesterday, coming especially from Frankfurt. We had two Kuzu Spiess, one Adana, one Karisik Izgara and a starter Mezze plate, with 4x Ayran. Adana and starter mezze plate was poor in taste, rest was acceptable. The best thing about the store was the service staff. Always trying to ensure that the guests are satisfied and when it comes to the ambience, inside is great, outside, more appearance than reality!

I love this restaurant! Every dish is simply incredibly delicious, highly recommended. Everything here is right in terms of price too. Unfortunately, the shisha area at the top is not entirely consistent, as the quality of the shisha is sometimes good and sometimes not so good. But the restaurant downstairs is really great. The only shame is that they took the Kayseri Yaglama off the menu, that was always a highlight. I think it's particularly nice that they offer a prayer room, which shows how much they pay attention to the needs of their guests.

Pure disaster. Four of us went there for breakfast today and waited 1 hour (!) for something to arrive. And only after we spoke to the employees! Apart from us there are still 3 tables occupied. That means it wasn't even crowded. Then breakfast was served to us by a gentleman without comment and with an annoyed expression on his face. You also have to hope that an employee will appear in the area where the guests are sitting. If you're lucky, someone will come, if not, you'll walk forward yourself :) When we wanted to pay, they said someone was coming. Our neighboring table also wanted to pay. Unfortunately no one came, so we just stood at the front. It took a while before anyone even noticed us. In the meantime, the people from our neighboring table also came to the front. Then a person came and ran up to get the person who was supposed to collect. She came down with a Redbull in her hand and cashed in. No apologizing or anything. What do you hire employees for if they run away, go somewhere else and don't do their work? That was the first and last time I visited this store!

We went to this location for the first time today. The ambience is not like the pictures. Tables weren't clean enough. Chair covers were partly torn. The only good thing was the food. Despite having made a reservation to break our Iftar, we were simply forgotten. It was overcrowded, and there was no room for us. In the end, we were seated upstairs in the shisha area, where we were supposed to break our fast? (With loud music and people smoking). We were fed up with that, and left. There wasn't even an apology; we were simply ignored. Unfortunately, it was very sad, as we were left standing there with nothing and everything else was full.

Disappointing service Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant as the service was a big disappointment. Even though the restaurant wasn't particularly full, we had to wait a long time before we were even welcomed. The staff seemed disinterested and unfriendly, as if our presence was more of a burden. What was particularly annoying was that we wanted to make a reservation and according to them this wasn't necessary. When we were there they said you couldn't get in without a reservation. You definitely didn't feel welcome here. The poor service showed me that this store has no idea how to do business!!!

In addition, the menu was wrong and the quality of the food was very poor. The food was cold and poorly prepared which further compromised the taste quality. In addition, we had to accept a very long waiting time. In addition, the inventory was dirty and apparently not cleaned adequately. Simply funny Sunday January 12th, 2025 the waiter F. (according to him he is the boss) It is a rule to order a shisha upstairs or you have to get up and go into the next room and stay there. Although several tables upstairs were unoccupied. I think it's the lowest class, sorry that doesn't work at all. We ordered 3x cocktails. I work in the industry myself and that's the bottom drawer. Ideally, I wouldn't even want to give it one star.

Enjoyed a delicious meal in the evening, it was very busy but still managed to grab a table without waiting. Fantastic service, very well run with a variety of menu items. Fully halal with no alcohol served on the premises, shisha is available in a separate area to the dining room so it's fine for those not interested in that. It is on the pricey side but it is a more upscale experience, really nice atmosphere too.

We had a wonderful evening in this restaurant and were a group of 10 people. The starters were outstanding, especially the Tulum salad and garlic bread, absolutely delicious and highly recommended. The food was always served warm, which further underlined the quality. The tiramisu highlight at the end is also highly recommended. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. Despite the size of our group, everything was perfectly organized and the entire team was extremely friendly and attentive. An all-round successful taste experience! We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately our visit to your shisha bar was very disappointing. We had to wait a long time for a waiter to even assign us a seat. Afterwards it took far too long again until we could place our order. When we finally ordered drinks and desserts, we were informed that we had to order a shisha. This rule was not communicated to us beforehand, nor does it make sense for an order value for four people. The service was disorganized and the entire experience was less than pleasant. We didn't expect anything like this when we visited.

Great brunch for a group of friends and large families. Spacious. Portions are large. Great prize for brunch avg 17 euro per person. Variety of small dishes that are fresh. I like the combinations. Tahini, French fries, eggs, fresh cucumber and tomatoes, fresh made donuts, grapes, cheeses, tea and so on. Copious menu. Everything for everyone at the table. Service was excellent. Deutsch, Turkish, not so great in English but u can show the picture of the menu and away you go. 😉

The food was delicious. The dishes were tasteful, fresh and attractively presented. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and inviting – overall a very nice place. However, I would like to address one point that marred my visit a little: there were two dogs in the restaurant during our stay. One of the dogs was there before us, the other came later. Although I like animals and am generally pet-friendly, I find it problematic to allow dogs in an enclosed space like a restaurant. Not every guest feels comfortable around dogs - be it for allergy reasons, fear or simply because it doesn't meet the usual standard of dining in a well-kept environment. In an outdoor area that could be used in summer, I don't see this as a problem at all. But in an enclosed space I would like to perhaps not allow dogs to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests. In summary: A great restaurant with delicious food and nice atmosphere, but a clearer policy regarding dogs indoors would perfect the experience.

We had just been there, we decided to go upstairs because we actually wanted to smoke a shisha. The whole shop was empty except for one table where a lady and a man were sitting. We chose a spot at the top of the window, again the entire shop was empty. We sat upstairs for almost 15 minutes and weren't even asked, let alone someone came to see us, until I decided to say goodbye to this rude shop. Once and never again. Anyone who treats customers like this has no chance in Mannheim. I wish you all the best, take care of yourselves and never see you again.

Great on the outside but flop on the inside. 1. We were warmly welcomed and given a table, but in the last corner (which didn't matter). The order was only taken after the head waiter asked for it (waited for about 20 minutes), until then the waiters/waiters completely ignored us. Ultimately, our table was moved after we had taken our order because a larger group was approaching and we had occupied a larger table. It was no problem for us to change tables 2. The drinks arrived at the relocated table but the food did not. The food was brought to the previous table. Unfortunately another 20-25 minutes passed. We got up and wanted to leave. However, we were stopped and taken to our place. 3. The fun continued, we were given a half-eaten meze platter by the head waiter, he said that he had freshly prepared the platter himself. See first picture. When asked again, the plate was replaced. It had now been over 1.5 hours. 4. After a long wait, the food arrived. How do you expect a meal, obviously hungry and it should already be warm. The appetite went wrong there too. The meat was cold. 5. He (head waiter) took everything in the end, which is obvious, but for all the mistreatment it is intolerant. No apology in sight and didn't accept any comment. No customer friendliness. -It's Saturday and it's crowded- they said at the end If you feel like half a plate, this is the place to go. Otherwise stay away. NEVER AGAIN

The Novus breakfast was decorated with wilted, even dripping lettuce leaves. The salmon wasn't the best, and the typical, slimmed-down additions didn't even come close to justifying the price/performance ratio. The scrambled eggs came without bacon, although the menu listed it as included. The waitress was more concerned with decorating, cleaning, and chatting, mostly somewhere in the background. With six guests, there really wasn't much to do, and the response and interest were zero. It's a shame; we remembered it much better.

Good pizza at a fair price. We always eat there because our office is around the corner. The staff is friendly, and the seating is quite comfortable, too.

Great restaurant with predominantly vegetarian and vegan options, and a lovely outdoor terrace. The food is delicious and the menu options are excellent. It's not cheap, but it's worth every cent. Highly recommended!
