A simple, unpretentious restaurant that allows you to eat quickly when you're in a hurry. Good fruit juice.

Chic location. Drinks taste very good. Service is excellent. Nice employees. Price performance absolutely okay. The only defect is in the men's toilet. The socket for the hand dryer hangs out of the wall there. Shouldn't be.

While looking for a restaurant for lunch in Mannheim, we came across the Novus restaurant. Overall, nice rooms, everyone will find something on the menu. The food tasted good and was prepared quickly. The only criticism is that we had to wait a long time until we were served.

The Monday Spar Rips were once again a blast. The staff is very attentive but not too intrusive and very friendly. The prices are in the normal range. All in all, highly recommended. We always enjoy coming here.

Were there today (8/18/24, 8/11/24 and in between for brunch - still just as sensationally good as the first few times😊🤤). Today I came in (half an hour earlier) and the boss said straight away: "Sandra" yes? 😳🤔😍😂😂😂 So I'm already recognized and basically greeted by my first name. On the last visit we were one and a half people more (spontaneously) and it wasn't a problem. The brunch offer (from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. - 5 a.m. for €13.50 is simply unbeatable. It's always refilled, there's a bit of everything and everything is delicious. Went to Sunday brunch for the second time today (March 17, 2024). Like the first visit, it was absolutely great👌🏻👏🏻 Went to brunch from the beginning (10 a.m.) to the end (3 p.m.)...it was always filled up, plenty of choice, everything was very tasty, fresh and attractively prepared. It was very cozy again...for me one of the top brunch addresses for Sundays! And the price is unbeatable...€13.50 for a possible 5 hours of delicious breakfast, snacks, cakes, waffles, fruit...whatever. Even if it cost more, it would be unbeatable. !!!BUT!!! Be sure to reserve. Wanted today for March 31st. Make a reservation, everything is already fully booked😔 Were there for the first time - probably had better luck than everything else. We spontaneously called for brunch on Sunday (after we had no luck elsewhere), spontaneously got space for 7 people and it was great. Large selection, very tasty and definitely affordable brunch. Vegetarians are guaranteed to find something - we had two with us. You have the opportunity to have brunch until 3 p.m., there is cake, lunch snacks, you can make your own fresh waffles... So lots of choice... We'll definitely be back. Reservations are advisable and recommended! And in general there seems to be a good selection...just take a look at the menu - the breakfast selection is decent.

When I was a student, I really enjoyed the pasta buffet. Since that no longer exists, I haven't been to the Novus anymore. Til today. It was my first time going for Sunday brunch and I highly recommend it. I went around 12pm, without a reservation. The place was full and loud, something I've experienced every Sunday break so far. I still got a nice and relatively quiet spot in a corner. Perfect! The only disadvantage was the open window next to it, which unfortunately I couldn't close, but the draft was bearable with a jacket. The buffet was pretty full. There were various meat dishes (not tried), salmon (unfortunately quite dry), breaded vegetables (very good), fresh vegetables, selection of cheese, various dips and salads, baked goods (baguette slices were unfortunately more like rusks, but rolls were very fresh and tasty) , cakes (very few pieces at 1 p.m. but all very tasty), pancakes (dry), fruits, etc. Most of the things tasted great and the selection was very large. The only shame I found was that there was no signage. Sometimes I didn't know whether the dishes were with or without meat and I only found out afterwards that the chocolate fountain was bittersweet. It would not be recommended for people with allergies or intolerances. Anyone who eats everything will definitely stay happy. Despite the full restaurant, I was able to help myself to the buffet at any time and never had to wait. There was only a small queue when a group had just picked up things, but that was quickly gone. The service was super nice and quick. I got a drink (very tasty iced tea) and warm eggs within 5 minutes and they apologized for having to wait 2-3 minutes to pay. With the place packed, I was really impressed! I can't understand the complaints about the toilets in some of the comments. The women's toilet was in very good condition and very clean. I will gladly come again.

Went there with work colleagues. I didn't know that at all and was totally pleasantly surprised. Food was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. The way the food was prepared was also very nicely done. And it really tasted great. I'd love to come back.

It is always a good option! Really good drinks, nice options for food that are always delicious and also nice opening hours! In my opinion, one of the better cost benefit restaurant/bar/cafe in the city! Btw, i strongly recommend the Sunday brunch! There are great options with a very affordable price and super high quality! The service is always amazing and i am normally every week there!

Farma burger was very good, try it! very friendly staff, and you can taste the best coffee in Mannheim.

The food is very good, unfortunately you sit there for at least 15 minutes even when there is little going on, without anyone asking what you want to drink. The women's toilets are very spacious. Nevertheless, it is a nice atmosphere and the service staff is very friendly.

If you want a cheap and delicious lunch, this is the right place! Daily changing dishes, 1x vegetarian and 1x with meat. Plus a soup of the day and a dessert for FREE with every dish! Perfect for your lunch break and easy to do in 1 hour! 🥰 Reservation in advance recommended.

I was very disappointed with the breakfast buffet, even though it supposedly has a very good reputation. The coffee was tasty. Addition: after 4 years, a lawyer was called in and tried to have my honest review deleted. That's not okay. Of course, a lot can change in 4 years, but simply reporting an honest review on the grounds of “consciously spreading untrue facts” is the wrong approach!

Good price-performance ratio, great service and a great team! I love it there and we ate there practically every day. The ambience in the evenings is second to none in Mannheim!

Delicious starters and large portions of main courses.

Service staff with tunnel vision: You have to shout really loudly to be noticed. The cordon bleu, a large lump of meat, was fried in the deep fryer. (Saturday around 6 p.m.)

The Burger was very nice, not much French Fries on it, unfortunatelly. Service was okay but not a professional one.

As a group, we reserved a handicap via Google and received feedback within a very short time. The service was top and the food was great. We were there for lunch on a Saturday. We had a wrap, schnitzel, burger and Bolognese noodles and all the dishes were freshly prepared. You could select the breakfast offerings on the menu and top that breakfast is available until 3 p.m. on the weekend. ideal for late risers. A great price-performance ratio. We'd love to come back

Ordered food again today and picked it up. 2 portions of cheese spaetzle with salad. Soup and dessert on the house. 9.50 per serving, what more could you want? Delicious!!! Always my pleasure

Great brunch buffet on Sundays! Service was ok, as was the ambience. The restaurant was fully booked, so everything was a bit cramped and access to the buffet was somewhat limited due to the spatial situation. But all in all, everything was great to cope with and overall!

Quality and price are top. Toilets are clean. You can park directly opposite. I'll be back!

There's really nothing wrong with the restaurant. I enjoyed the food very much. With soup, dessert, main course and drink, the price is very reasonable despite the high quality. The service was very nice and quick. You didn't have to wait long at all and everything arrived quickly and with high quality. The ambience and seating are also very pleasant and comfortable. A 10/10 absolute recommendation.

The five of us still got a table on Sunday without a reservation. We were very pleased. All in all just great and simply bomb for the price. Friendly and fast staff. Huge selection at breakfast so something for everyone. Gladly again.

I usually like Novus but last time I was there I saw a mouse running through the tables. I alerted the bartender who reacted with a dismissive “okay” and went about his business unperturbed. One can wonder what such nonchalance at the sight of rodent signals about the place’s hygiene.

Monday spareribs evening! 1 kg of meat, a baked potato with dip and an ear of corn. Nice service and good value for money.

Sonntag Brunch 10.30Uhr 1Cappuccino Tasse bestellt mit alte Rote farbe Lippenstift Abdruck dreckig bekommen 2 Tasse kaffe mit außen alte Flecken getrocknete kaffe beim Buffet wollte ein leere Teller nehmen musste erst 5 schmutzigen Teller vorher aus sortieren angebliche die spühlmaschine wäre defekt die Aussage vom Kellner ein andere Kunde saß gegenüber bekam Glas Cola aus Versehen über den Hinterkopf Nacken Hemd und Jacke über den Stuhl gehängt ausgelehrt Katastrophe pur nie wieder und droht schmutziger Geschirr normale Preis kassiert. Nicht empfehlenswert!!!!!!!!!!!

Freundliches Personal, schneller Service, saubere Toiletten.

Wir waren mit 10 Personen zum Frühstück gekommen. Der Tisch wurde ca. 1 Woche vor Weihnachten bestellt. Die aufgebackenen Brötchen waren verdellt und verbeult und alles andere als knusprig. Es gab keine Croissants, was uns mit dem Weihnachts-Feiertag zuvor erklärt wurde. Stattdessen wurde uns ein zusätzliches Brötchen angeboten. Angesichts der Qualität der Brötchen ein wenig attraktiver Vorschlag. Es wäre sicher mit ausreichender Vorbereitung möglich gewesen, noch frische Brötchen und Croissants zu besorgen, da in Mannheim alle Geschäfte geöffnet waren. Für den Preis leider kaum empfehlenswert.

Leider ist das Café viel zu eng. Es war so extrem laut, dass eine Konversation nur bedingt möglich war. Sehr schade, da der Rest wirklich sehr gut war.

Mittagstisch Menü ist zu empfehlen. Geht ziemlich fix, für die Pause genau richtig

Wir waren mit 15 Personen abends dort und waren alle sehr zufrieden. Sehr gutes Essen und großzügig Portionen zu moderaten Preisen. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Cocktails schmecken sehr gut.

Passt einfach richtig gut auf jeder Ebene, beim Essen, den Getränken und besonders beim Team. Merci! (...mal wieder..)

Sehr gemütliches Lokal in tollem Ambiente. Sehr freundliches Personal. Essen und Getränke sehr gut und zu fairen Preisen.

Frühstücksbuffet am Sonntag, nicht 0815 sondern wirklich abwechslungsreich, preislich angemessen, sehr nette Bedienung. Waren beim 2. Mannheim-Besuch extra wegen des Frühstücks dort, was uns schon vor Jahren überzeugte.

Eigentlich ganz cool, aber beim Brunch war es viel zu voll. Zu viele Menschen und die Tisch viel zu eng gestellt. Da müsst ihr euch noch was überlegen.

Novus ist das GELBE VOM Ei. Ein Geheimtipp unter Studenten gefühlsmäßig so bekannt wie Irans“ geheimes“ Atomkuchenprogramm ehem... Ja das Essen ist gut und günstig. Schön angerichtet. Der Service ist schnell freundlich zuvorkommend. Die Frühstückssets haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Tomaten Mozzarella und Pesto sind eine grandiose Kombi!

Brunch am Sonntag sehr zu empfehlen. Der Mittagslunch hat auch ein gutes Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis. Ansonsten leckere Snacks, Salate und Burger. Gute Auswahl an Cocktails

Great brunch buffet as we went on a Sunday, very accommodating despite my lack of German-speaking. Order for drinks and eggs taken as you sit, then help yourself to the buffet. There was bacon, sausages, salmon, bruschetta, breads, pastries and desserts inc. Waffles, amongst many other things. Waitress was extremely friendly and would recommend and certainly return.

Das Essen war der Hammer! Normalerweise esse ich kein Bacon, da er mir nicht schmeckt, aber hier ist er soooo knusprig und herzhaft! WOW! Die eier werden frisch zubereitet. Woanders werden die Eier vorgekocht oder gebraten und in Chevys gelegt, hier aber nicht! Ich bin begeistert und wenn ich wieder in der Nähe bin, komme ich definitiv wieder !!!! Vielen Dank an das Team!

Wir waren zum Sonntagsbrunsch dort gewesen. Hatten vorher reserviert, was ich auch empfehlen würde, denn es war sehr gut besucht. Das Buffet war wirklich sehr abwechslungsreich und vor allem fand ich es toll, dass es auch Kuchen gab und eine riesen Auswahl an Zutaten, wie verschiedene Wurst und Käsesorten, Müsli, Kornflakes, Gemüse, Obst, ja sogar einen Schokoladenbrunnen war da. Man konnte sich frisch Waffeln backen und auch die Panckakes waren lecker. Die Brötchen waren sehr lecker und man bekommt frisches Ei in verschiedenen Variationen direkt an den Tisch gebracht. Ich hatte Rührei und es war wirklich sehr gut. Die Bedienungen waren super freundlich und wirklich auf zack. Wir mussten weder auf Getränke noch auf das Ei lange warten. Lediglich der Platz war etwas beengt. Aber ich denke mir immer, wenn ein Restaurant, Cafe, Bäckerei oder ähnliches gut besucht ist, dann ist es gut. Ich kann nur sagen, Daumen hoch und weiter so. Es war ein so schöner Sonntag Vormittag.

Je n'ai mangé qu'une crêpe au chocolat et c'était de mauvaise qualité : très épaisse, caoutchouteuse, avec au dessus un chocolat liquide industriel. Quand on ne sait pas faire de crêpes, on ne la fait pas payer 5€50 !!

Wir waren am Abend hier, haben Cocktails getrunken und einen Flammkuchen gegessen. Beides hervorragend. Nicht überlaufen, bin zwar nicht von hier aber wahrscheinlich ein Geheimtipp für einen tollen Abend mit Freunden.

Tolles Brunch-Buffet mit reichlich Auswahl zu einem fairen Preis in einem schönen Ambiente. Gute selbstgemachte Icetea, frisch gepresste Säfte und auch auf dem Buffet immer alles frisch.

Mega tolles frühstücksbuffet der Service ist toll leider muss man sich sehr früh anmelden um einen Platz zu reservieren aber wir kommen auf jeden Fall 😁😉

Mondays spareRibs are the Best in town and around. Diner is also great, cocktails always, only the potatoes were a little to soft on the all-you-can-eat-buffet, the last time. But Rest is great.

Sonntagsbrunch mit überschaubarer Auswahl. Eine gegarter Lachs fällt sofort ins Auge und war sehr lecker. Ebenfalls gut, frische Melonen mit Schinken, frische Eier auf Anfrage. Frittiertes Gemüse, na ja. Viele Fertigprodukte wie Chickenwings, Frikadellchen, Würstchen, Frühlingsrollen aus der Packung. Große und leckere Auswahl an Müsli und Kuchen. Frische Waffeln zum selbst backen und ein Schokobrunnen. Alles in allem eher durchschnittlich aber dafür auch nicht besonders teuer. 2 x Brunch, 2 Cappuccino und eine Flasche Wasser für rund 40 Euro Sehr netter freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service, da gibts gar nix zu meckern. Nettes Ambiente innen schön , modern und gemütlich eingerichtet. Um so mehr wird man enttäuscht, wenn man die Herrentoilette benutzten möchte, Klobrille hängt runter , großes Loch in der Wand über dem Klo und die Steckdose an der Handtrockner hängt fällt fast aus der Wand - gefährlich. Fazit, war nett, aber mehr auch nicht.
