I’ve lived in Italy for a couple of years and have tried countless Italian restaurants in Frankfurt, but this place is by far the most authentic and delicious I’ve found in Hessen. A few friends and I visited recently, and every single dish was outstanding. The highlight for me was their homemade Vitello Tonnato — unlike any I’ve had before, even in Piemonte! The texture was perfect, and the tonnato sauce was rich, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. You can really tell it was made with care and passion. What truly made the experience even more special was the service. The waitresses are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely warm — it felt more like visiting friends than just dining out. If you’re looking for real Italian food made with heart, this is the place. We’ll absolutely be coming back. Grazie mille per la splendida esperienza!

We celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant. It was a special moment for us especially because it was the first time we went out for dinner with our 9 month old baby. The service was very kind and welcoming. The food was very delicious and to our liking. We will 100% return.

Anyone who writes that this is the best Italian food, or even better than in Italy, definitely has a taste problem. The food is quite good, but not a mega-highlight. We ate there with the company (Christmas party). Everything was incredibly delicious, and special requests were accommodated. The stuffed pasta was a dream!

We're fans. Andrea, the owner, and his team never fail to delight us – with their culinary offerings, but also with their heartfelt service and broad expertise. Andrea isn't just a restaurateur; he's a passionate host. Yesterday, I ordered a small birthday catering for my boyfriend at home – and it was simply fantastic, delicious, and creative, and the quality was so good that even the takeaway service didn't detract from it. We're delighted that "Qui" is adding such a rich flavor to Hanau's culinary landscape.

Es sollte ein schönes Geburtstagsessen werden. War aber leider ein Abend wo eine Enttäuschung die andere überbot. Vorab, wir sind beide Köche mit Erfahrung im Service. Kamen an, alles war schön. Ziemlich voll. Montags zur Weihnachtszeit. Leider wusste wohl keiner wie man mit so viel Kundschaft zurecht kommt und umgeht. Also kaum gesessen kam freundlich die Karte. Getränke aufgenommen und fix gebracht. Schon wurden uns die Tagesempfehlungen entgegengebracht. Schade, denn von ca. 6-8 die es eigentlich gab wurden uns nur 3 genannt. Der Tisch neben uns hatte dann paar Minuten später die anderen genannt bekommen, von einer anderen Servicekraft. Haben uns gewundert, waren aber fein damit. Nach 1 Stunde warten kam eine Entschuldigung der Servicekraft „es tut uns leid, es war so viel auf einmal deswegen dauert es heute ein wenig länger“. Wir waren mit natürlichem Verständnis durch die eigene Branche dabei. Kein Problem. Kurz danach kam die Vorspeise. Bruscetta Classico. War lecker. Sehr lecker. Nicht besonders, was nicht schlimm ist. Hauptsache lecker. Fertig mit der Vorspeise kam nach 1,5 Stunden Aufenthalt im Restaurant die Servicekraft und teilte uns mit dass es das Kalbskotelett nicht mehr gäbe weil es aus ist. Auch das wäre kein Problem gewesen, WENN wir nicht schon vor 1,5 Stunden bestellt hätten und der Tisch der NACH uns kam und bestellt hatte, das Kalbskotlett dann sogar noch VOR uns bekam. Stattdessen wurde uns dann das Filet angeboten. Wurde auch genommen, weil es jetzt sowieso egal war. Das Essen kam 20-30 Minuten später. Also nach zwei Stunden Aufenthalt erst der Hauptgang. Beim Anschneiden des Filets dann direkt die nächste große Enttäuschung , denn das Filet war “Well Done”. Macht man so in keinem Restaurant. Jedes Fleisch mit Gar Stufen wird ohne genaue Absprache “Medium” gebracht vorallem ein Filet. Naja zwei mal tot das Tier. Wurde trotzdem gegessen. War geschmacklich in Ordnung aber nicht akzeptabel. Vorallem weil auf der Abrechnung auch “Filet MEDIUM” gebucht war. Carbonara war gut aber nicht so gut um diesem Restaurant noch einen zweiten zukünftigen Aufenthalt zu schenken. Also Hauptgänge abgeräumt. Danach wirklich keine Lust mehr auf Dessert gehabt obwohl der Tiramisu schon von Anfang an eigentlich auf der Rechnung stand. Zwei doppelte Espresso bestellt. Der erste kam fix und der zweite dann 3-5 Minuten später. Die andere Kollegin konnte aber in der Zeit nochmal kurz raus. Beobachtungen an diesem Abend: andere Tische warteten ebenfalls sehr lang obwohl das Hauptgeschehen schon ordentlich nachgelassen hatte. Trotzdem bekamen manche erst 5 Minuten später ihr Essen als ihre Mitmenschen am gleichen Tisch. Schlechtes Timing? Schlechte Organisation oder schlechte Kommunikation? Warscheinlich ein mix aus allem. Nett waren sie alle, aber das war es nicht wert. Nur Tränen meiner Freundin, weil ich so traurig war wie hier alles verlief. Nochmal? Auf keinen Fall. Weiter empfehlen? Auf keinen Fall. Außer ich möchte nochmal Kinoreifes Versagen auf fast allen Ebenen erleben. Ciao

A little declaration of love for Qui Cucina: Without wanting to eat meat, I was fortunate enough to be able to help my wife prepare her bacon-wrapped beef fillet. I've never eaten such a good piece of meat in my life, and the salad for the starter was also outstanding. However, I shouldn't have been surprised, as the host also selects the wines, coffee, etc. with great care. Highly recommended for an evening of perfect indulgence and a wonderful addition to Hanau's city center. Definitely try it!

Food super tasty. The restaurant is very small, we sat in the middle, a bit of a cat place (despite reservations). The service was very good, but the service was very rare.

The quality of the food was good, but I waited far too long for the food. The drinks were also a long time coming. When the starters came after 1.5 hours, I asked if the first course could be deleted. It was said at 10 p.m. that the cook had already started. The plate arrived at 10:40 p.m. I felt silly for pasta. Others, even though they arrived after us, were served more quickly. Overall nice, but too slow.

The Qui really deserves 5 stars. The small restaurant conjures up really good Italian dishes from the small kitchen. The vitello was very tasty, not too salty. The pinsa with beef slices was excellently seasoned and crispy. A highlight for Hanau.

Ich habe mich um mindestens 20 Jahre zurück versetzt gefühlt! In die Zeit, als der Service in der Gastronomie noch einen hohen Stellwert hatte! Aufmerksamkeit, Freundlichkeit, Nachfragen zu Getränken, Nachfragen ob es schmeckt und alles in Ordnung ist.... eigentlich selbstverständlich, aber in der heutigen Zeit mehr als Floskel zu finden, als dass es wirklich jemanden interessiert. Im Qui ist es wunderbar! Ich habe mich selten so gut bedient gefühlt! Das Essen war unglaublich lecker, unser Kellner war aufmerksam, zuvorkommend und vom Fach und alles ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Und hat den vollen Laden mit links an dem Abend alleine gerockt. Hut ab! Sehr, sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man einen schönen und leckeren Abend verbringen und mit einem Lächeln nach Hause gehen möchte!

We ate at Qui for the first time today on the recommendation of a friend. We were and still are completely thrilled. The food was incredibly delicious! This is how you imagine food on vacation in Italy! Italian music plays in the background. The service was great. Very warm and personable and incredibly attentive. We felt very comfortable. The prices are a little higher than usual, but definitely worth the quality. It wasn't the last time we were there.

Everything is just right in this restaurant. We've been there several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is incredibly friendly, takes their time and makes you feel welcome and valued as a guest. The food is Italian - but not the “Germanized” run-of-the-mill food that you often get. The dishes are very individual and created with a lot of effort. And they taste great! You get incredibly good quality cuisine here. From the cozy atmosphere to the wonderful cuisine to the hospitable staff. Always a great visit that we would happily recommend.

It was my first time here based on a recommendation and I didn't regret it! Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. As a daily special we had the wild boar ragout with a great glass of rosé and I was thrilled. A wonderful meal at a very fair price. We'd love to come back!

The service is exceptional. I was so pleasantly surprised. You immediately notice the passion for service and cuisine. The daily menu was explained in such detail and made me want the filled dumplings with walnuts in a Gorgonzolla sauce. Even if the location deserved something better, it didn't spoil the stay. We tried Qui a couple of nights ago and it was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious, really authentic. The freshly baked bread is made with semolina and, in combination with the extra virgin dipping oil, could be a meal in itself. For that matter, so could the crostini, which have the house bread as a base, grilled with olive oil and topped with super fresh and tasty ingredients. We ordered the fresh pasta and it was divine—both sauces were fabulous. I ordered the frittura di pesce, which was out of this world. The staff was attentive and helpful and the ambience and view out the windows (or from the patio) are top. Enjoy this gem of a restaurant.

My husband and I came here for the second time with friends and were once again totally thrilled. Everything is “perfetto” here. Finally I discovered a cute restaurant where everything fits and the food is of excellent quality. The owner, the waitress and especially the cook have their hearts in the right place.
