Ristorante Mediterraneo in Hanau

Unfortunately disappointing – serious health concerns I developed symptoms of food poisoning after my last order at Mediterraneo. Although I had originally hoped to resolve this directly and discreetly with the operator, I received no response – instead, my first review was summarily deleted. This kind of handling of customer complaints, especially when it comes to health and food safety, is absolutely unacceptable to me. I therefore feel compelled to inform the responsible health authority. I actually wanted to avoid this step, but anyone who turns a blind eye to such incidents is not taking responsibility for the health of their guests. I hope for a thorough investigation so that future guests don't have to suffer similar experiences.

It was a dream, the food was simply delicious. The waiters were always customer-oriented and everything was brought promptly. The portions were more than sufficient. The highlight of the day was the enchanting dessert. We've never had such a fantastic chocolate mousse, and my companion had a delicious cheesecake. We'll definitely be back soon. Oh, and be sure to check out the beautiful pond outside. It's amazing. We'll be back again. You're always perfect. Thank you very much.

Very friendly service, nice ambience and an excellent pizza (Regina) with very good dough and, in my opinion, high-quality ingredients.

In my opinion one of the worst restaurants in Hanau. I had asked for a salad and what I was served was a nightmare. Supposedly Mediterranean cuisine but nothing special for me and the prices are mega high.

The restaurant advertises that it took first place somewhere in 2019 - nice, unfortunately that was 6 years ago. A good restaurant also includes good service. The food was really good, the "pizza baker" and the lady at the bar/reception were very friendly. So far great! But unfortunately there is still a bad-tempered and unfriendly waiter running around who ruins everything. We won't be coming like that anymore, sorry. Apart from a good meal, there is nothing more important than friendliness in service - unfortunately the waiter didn't understand that. We would have liked to come back... but... but not like that.

I think a great restaurant is just like a ghetto. The restaurant owner doesn't pay any attention to the street outside the restaurant. He's obligated to keep the area around the restaurant clean. Friedrichstrasse is completely clean. It's just the front of the restaurant that's so dirty. If it's not cleaned within 15 days, more pictures will be added. Ownership is a responsibility. Good food doesn't mean it's also clean. Just like the outside on the street around the restaurant, the kitchen is 100% clean too.

I haven't been so happy for a long time. The quality of the food was very good, but the prices were still great. The service was very friendly and attentive. Also visually an excellent restaurant. Gladly again

I have to agree with the one star reviews. Such an uncomfortable atmosphere, such a soggy pizza, a mediocre wine and the price is outrageous.

I have ordered pizza from Mediterraneo several times. Most recently on Thursday - unfortunately I got symptoms of food poisoning the following day. So I'm assuming the tuna on my pizza was spoiled. I won't order anymore.

The service is friendly, but for the relatively high prices (e.g., pizza prices range from €15 to €19.50), it's sloppy, meaning they offer parmesan cheese with pasta or generally lack attention. The pizzas were topped with fresh ingredients, which earned them an extra point, but the crust was very burnt. That shouldn't happen in this price range. Overall, there are better options these days.

Family-run restaurant with a great selection of dishes! Pizzeria and first-class restaurant; we've been coming here for years and feel right at home. It's great that places like this still exist!

What a great ambience and what excellent food. Great spaghettinis with prawns, crispy fresh salad with just the right amount of dressing. Excellent espresso and super courteous service. More than a recommendation 👌☺️

Local ambience great. One of the best pizzas I've tried. I ordered lobster which tasted excellent, but I ordered bread and garlic mayonnaise with the lobster. The mayonnaise came a few minutes later and the bread didn't come at all. Given that it was so full, it wasn't a problem. What doesn't work for me at all is that you're charged 25 euros too much and then in one tone. I would have said sorry and then maybe another one on the house. But to say you can see how full it is here... doesn't work for me at all.

Ordered pizza there to pick up. Telephone service very friendly and accommodating. Pick up was possible on time and the pizza was very good. Gladly again.

We were in the restaurant on a very busy evening. The service was very quick and attentive. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The pistachio pizza is highly recommended. Children are also very welcome here, which deserves another plus point. We would love to come back and look forward to another successful visit.

Das Essen und der Service hier sind weit über dem Durchschnitt. Die Pizzen der Pizza-Manufaktur sind original Neapolitanisch, und sehr zu empfehlen. Auch die Vorspeisen waren ausgezeichnet.

Mit Abstand das beste und qualitativste Restaurant im Umkreis. Hervorragendes Essen, vollkommener Service in idyllischer Atmosphäre zu fairen Preisen!

Schönes Ambiente, gute Qualität beim Essen, netter Service.

Dieses Restaurant war leider wirklich enttäuschend. Wir haben einen 85. Geburtstag gefeiert und müssen leider sagen, der Service hat diesen Geburtstag leider ein wenig versaut. Angefangen hat alles gut, mit einer schönen Begrüßung, doch der Service hat schnell und stark nachgelassen. Anfangs haben wir ewig auf eine Getränkekarte gewartet und nachdem endlich Wein am Tisch war, war der Service für den Preis wirklich schlecht. Kein automatisches nachfüllen des Weins, unfreundliche Bedienung, etc. Kurz vor dem Hauptgang kam eine 30er Gruppe in das Restaurant, welche ein DJ Pult direkt neben unserem Tisch aufgestellt hatten und wirklich unangebrachte Musik laut gespielt haben. Nach mehreren Aufforderungen unsererseits der Bedienung gegenüber, bitte die Musik entweder angemessen oder leiser zu machen wurde dies relativ simpel verneint. Als der Hauptgang geliefert wurde, wurde mehrmals gefragt wer was bestellt hat, was man bei diesem Preis wirklich nicht erwartet, und 2 Hauptspeisen wurden vergessen. Leider muss ich sagen, dass dieses Restaurant komplett überbewertet ist und es keinen Besuch wert ist. Geht für das viele Geld bitte woanders hin und schmeißt es hier nicht aus dem Fenster!

Super Essen Service ein Katastrophe

Der Wein ist viel zu teuer .... 5 Euro für 0,1l...

Ich wollte einfach nur in der Nähe bei Google Maps bei "irgendeinem Italiener" eine Pizza essen. Ich konnte ja nicht ahnen, dass ich so begeistert sein werde, dass ihr mein Favorit werdet. Toller netter Service, tolles Essen und wirklich schönes Ambiente! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen , es war ein toller Abend . Ich habe noch nie so eine gut angerichtete Kalbsleber gegessen , fein abgeschmeckt mit Salbei und knackigem Gemüse , die Sosse exzellent ! Alle Gäste der Feier waren begeistert von dem guten Essen , uns wurde sogar auf unseren Wunsch eine besondere Nachspeise extra zubereitet ! Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam , freundlich und trotzdem dezent, --- alles in allem TOP EMPFEHLUNG !

Wir waren nicht im Restaurant, sondern in der Pizzeria. Leckere Pizzen, Pasta, Service sehr gut und freundlich . Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist ok. Geräuschpegel von der Straßenseite sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig

Wir wollten unbedingt wissen wie die "Manufaktur-Pizza" schmeckt.... Und siehe da, wir wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Ohne zu übertreiben, die Pizzen sind erstklassig und originell! Es werden nur originale Zutaten aus Napoli verwendet (laut nettem Inhaber). Obwohl die Pizza sehr groß ist und ich einen Teil der Pizza meiner Frau auch verspeisen "durfte", hatte ich danach überhaupt kein Völlegefühl oder ähnliches. Dieser Teig lag mir nicht im Magen wie sonst wenn ich so viel Pizza verspeise. Tolle Zubereitung! Zwei von uns hatten das Stake bestellt, dass war ebenfalls toll, auf den Punkt gegrillt und toll im Geschmack. Ansonsten, der Inhaber und die Familienagestellten sind alle sehr nett und professionell. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Preis/Leistung ist hier klasse! Wir kommen wieder und wollen noch das Haupt-Restaurant testen.

Schönes Ambiente. Speisen gut, allerdings preislich nicht gerechtfertigt. Gleiche Qualität erhalte ich in anderen Restaurants für einen günstigeren Preis. Ein erneuter Besuch wird daher nicht stattfinden.

Hier stimmt (fast) alles. Das Essen und Service sind sehr gut. Die Preise sind recht gehoben, aber die Qualität stimmt. Gutes hat halt ihren Preis ;) Bei unserem letzten Besuch war ich etwas irritiert... Ich frage mich, wieso ein Gericht als Vorspeise bestellt nur die Hälfte der Portion war, im Vergleich mit dem gleichen Gericht als Hauptspeise bestellt... Gerade weil für beide den selben Preis erhoben wurde. Außerdem war die Qualität des Fleisches und Zubereitung meines Lieblingsgericht nicht so gut wie sonst... Aber man kann auch mal einen schlechten Tag haben. Ich hoffe, dass meine Erwartungen das nächste Mal wieder getroffen werden.

So wie man sich das von einem Nobelen Etablissement erhofft. Nichts zu bemängeln! Wir kommen gerne immer wieder

Das Essen war okay. Leider werden die Soßen angedickt, was sehr schade ist In den Miesmuscheln musste man das Muschelfleisch leider quasi mit der Lupe suchen. Der Service durchaus freundlich, aber hektisch und unaufmerksam. Man musste selbst auf sich aufmerksam machen, wenn die Getränke leer waren. Da ist noch deutlich Luft nach oben!

Nog nooit zo'n heerlijke pizza gegeten. Alles klopte gewoon de bodem, beleg de korst. Ook andere gerechten, iedereen was zeer verrast van de kwaliteit, en entourage. Prijs daarintegen was een meevaller. Toppie
