We had a wonderful lunch at this Italian restaurant this afternoon. The food was simply exquisite. I chose the gnocchi, served in a wonderfully aromatic tomato sauce—a combination that invites you to indulge. The restaurant's location was another highlight. You sit in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, surrounded by the gentle lapping of the water, creating a tranquil and inviting setting. This idyllic setting allowed us to chat in peace and enjoy our time together. The excellent service also contributed to our well-being; the staff were always attentive and friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We are already looking forward to our next visit to enjoy these Italian delicacies again and experience the beautiful atmosphere on the Main River!

We were very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. Our table on the terrace was covered in crumbs and sticky. The pizzas we ordered were quite burnt around the edges. We wanted to have a drink after dinner, but the waitress didn't come to our table because she had been standing at the edge of the terrace smoking the entire evening. Our table reservation was also lost. We won't be going there again.

We arrived and reserved a table. Unfortunately, this was already taken. However, we were able to sit in our reserved seat once the previous guests had left. While waiting we ordered drinks: water, apple juice and coffee. Unfortunately only the water was brought. We pointed this out to the waitress, but she seemed surprised and looked when we just ordered that. We then ordered food. While we waited about two hours for our food, all the other guests who came after us were served. We pointed this out to the staff, but they just asked if we had anything else planned, seeming to signal to us that we still had time. That was rude and rude. The food wasn't particularly good. The pasta was ok but overall we were very disappointed. Conclusion: I will never go there again.

The tortellini with butter and sage is a disappointment. The tortellini swim in a butter sauce with 3 sage leaves, which are just garnish, you can't taste the sage.

It was worth a try, but won't be repeated. The starter was borderline burnt. You shouldn't put something like that out there. My main course of salmon was dry and had a quick price-performance ratio, so I would have expected more. My husband's pizza was not edible/sour except for the edge. It's a shame, I often go out and enjoy a good meal, but I'll never go there again. We cannot understand the good movement online.

Best pizza I've had so far outside of Italy. Tiramisu is also super good. The owner and chef comes directly from Naples, you can taste it. Service, with roots in Palermo, was very nice, we really enjoyed the typical Italian warmth. Quite busy even on a normal Monday lunchtime. In summer with an idyllic terrace. The gluten-free pizza is NOT recommended. I was really looking forward to the gluten-free pizza. What I got was terrible. A Schär pizza base with simple toppings. I don't have to go to a restaurant for this, let alone pay €14. I have rarely been so disappointed with a restaurant.

The two of us were there yesterday spontaneously in this beautiful weather. We didn't eat anything because we didn't want to eat until later but all the tables outside were already reserved from 5 p.m. So we stayed to drink and play cards. The atmosphere right on the Kinzig is great, the restaurant is well maintained and has clean toilets. Particularly noteworthy is the nice waitress. Despite the fact that it was quite busy and she was alone, we didn't have to wait long for our drinks. She was very friendly and quick (should be a given in the catering industry, but unfortunately it isn't). So thank you very much for the very good service and keep it up! We will be happy to come back. Update from October 3rd, 2024: this time with a reservation for dinner. What can I say? It was delicious! We had pizza, pasta with salmon and spaghetti carbonara as well as salads. There was nothing to complain about. The nice waitress was also there and also had very friendly support. Thank you. You can now count us among your regular customers :)

Not welcoming, treated very badly

The food, sea bass and monkfish, were good, but the portions were quite small and too expensive. Since we were there with the Schlemmerblock, we only had to pay for one meal. Then it worked out. There was hardly any service. Order, put drinks and food down, clear away, pay.

Naja...der Insalata Mediterranea hat zwar geschmeckt - aber: Für 10 € war es ein Witz, wie wenig das war - eine kleine Plastikschale zu 1/3 befüllt!! Ein paar Salatblätter mehr, dass die Schale voll ist, wenigstens hätten es ruhig sein können - wenn es schon nur 5 Garnelen waren! Da es mein Mittagessen war, bin ich leider nicht annähernd satt geworden - sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt! ;-(((

Original Italian cooking is served here. Spaghetti Carbonara with egg and not cream. There is no Hawaiian pizza. 5 stars for the food because of authenticity, not haute cuisine!

Wonderful appetizer and dessert plates. Lassange is highly recommended as a main course. Unfortunately you couldn't get coffee in between, it was only available with dessert. It's a very idyllic place to sit outside. The restaurant is located directly on the Kinzig. Ideal for eating with children

The pizzas (30 cm) are extremely tasty and have a well-risen dough that is nice and fluffy. The fresh salads and the visually very appetizing pasta dishes are also plentiful, taste very good and can be seen beautifully prepared at any time. Most non-alcoholic drinks (Coca products) come in glass bottles. The excellent service is attentive, always present and very fast, friendly and good. The prices are extremely affordable and, given the good quality, are more than reasonable. The atmosphere corresponds to a clubhouse.

We made a reservation here based on a recommendation. Rather inconspicuous from the outside, the food is even better. A fantastic pizza, nice and crispy, nice and Italian. Highly recommended! Mittlerweile waren wir schon einige Male hier. Die Pizzen sind ohne Ausnahme empfehlenswert. Gewöhnungsbedürftig sind die Getränke, die zumeist in Flaschen an die Tische kommen. Die Bedienung ist zuvorkommend freundlich und flott. Es gibt für Gruppen einen abtrennbaren Raum.

Wie schon so oft erwähnt. Unscheinbar und eher sehr rustikal eingerichtet. Es ist voll, es ist laut (Italien halt) und dann kommt dieses echte Italienische Essen auf den Tisch. Unglaublich lecker 😋 da vergisst man alls andere drumherum. Manche Dinge sollten manchmal ein Geheimtipp bleiben. Wir waren wirklich positiv überrascht.

Typisch italienisches Ambiente, sehr gute Pizza. Preise sind angemessen. Lage direkt an der Kinzig, im Sommer kann man schön auf der Terrasse sitzen. Von aussen eher unscheinbar, aber es lohnt sich.

Es wirkt eher unscheinlich, ist aber ein genialer Italiener: Der Service ist zuvokommend und die Terrasse ist zwar einfach gestaltet, aber man hat einen herrlichen Blick auf die nebenfließende Kinzig, bei dem die Kinder am Ufer verweilen können, bis das Essen da ist. Die Italiener, die dieses Restaurant betrieben, sind freundlich. Und das Essen ist bella italia! Die Pizzen sind einfach nur lecker, sehr reich belegt und knusprig - wie in Italien! Wir waren begeistert. Durchaus empfehlenswert, wenn Sie notfalls bereit sind etwas länger zu warten und an das Ambiente nicht übermäßig große Erwartungwen haben. Der Ort ist barrierefrei - Rollstühle können hier verkehren! Unsere Kinder haben sich eine Pizza geteilt - die Küche serviert sie kunstvoll bereits aufgeteilt auf zwei Tellern und bevor sie pünktlich um 14.15 Mittagspause machen, fragen die nochmal nach Getränken und ob wir einen Pizzakarton für die Reste bräuchten- Service!!!

Si mangia benissimo, la pizza è veramente buona. Ho provato la pizza salame piccante, quattro formaggi e margherita e sono ottime. Da provare assolutamente le crocchette come antipasto, buone anche le patatine. Il servizio è ottimo e sono molto cordiali. Unica critica, ci sono pochi seggiolini per bambini e può capitare di rimanere senza in presenza di più bambini. Per il resto lo consiglio per chi vuoi mangiare una vera pizza napoletana. Il prezzo sono anche nella media: patatine, crocchette, 2 pizze, 1 pizza per bambini e 2 bibite piccole 40€. Tornerò presto

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe dort gewesen. Die Reservierung hat super geklappt und das Essen war sehr lecker (Pizza wie aus Italien). Jedoch war die Bedienung relativ unhöflich und aufdringlich. Ebenfalls sah das Ambiente leider auch nicht passend aus.
