Quesadilla Saarlouis in Saarlouis

If you want to have a sumptuous and good breakfast, this is a great place for you, but a visit at lunchtime or in the evening to eat is also more than recommended

The beef quesadilla was ok - I found the beef very bland. Not well seasoned. But the sauces were very tasty. The salad and rice were just ok. The drinks were really good and the service was outstanding. Hence the 4 stars; I would personally only give 3 stars for the food.

Serves 3 main courses: quesadilla; We paid just under €95 for fajita and tacos and 5 drinks (3 cocktails), so you can't complain.

We have ordered from Quesadilla many times and have been thrilled every time: large selection of consistently delicious dishes and everything beautifully prepared even when delivered. We're already looking forward to the next time!

I had the tacos with 3 types of meat. The first two were good, soggy but still edible, the third with the chicken tasted spoiled. I pointed this out to the waitress and she asked if I wanted a new one... but unfortunately my appetite was spoiled afterwards. The waitress asked why I didn't say something straight away... I said so as soon as I noticed the inedible chicken. When we paid we were offered an espresso. But we didn't want this, we suggested that we be given a discount on the extra charge for the meat (2 euros!). The waitress then asked her colleague whether she was allowed to do this. She then came back with the comment “the plate was empty” (which was not true at all, the plate was still half full) and a price reduction was not possible. . We were presented as if we wanted to “eat cheaply”. Very annoying, you should deal with criticism differently!!!

The food is very good, it is one of my favorite restaurants in Saarlouis, I eat the salad with shrimps very often, but the other dishes are also really excellent. The only drawback is the service. Since they have a lot of customers, they are not very careful. I had to wait 20/30 minutes to order or even get up and leave because they didn't notice my table. Otherwise everything is perfect. I can absolutely recommend it :)

We order here regularly and are actually very satisfied. Today it was horrible. We don't know what went wrong today. The enchiladas tasted like ashtray, it was really terrible. Hope it's not the new standard. Unfortunately we even had to throw the food away. Otherwise it's always great, I just really hope that today was an exception.

Sunday breakfast - complete disaster. Drinks only came after an hour. Service staff were completely overwhelmed and had no overview. Food didn't come sporadically, nor did the drinks.

We were there for breakfast today. The drinks didn't come together but individually. In total we waited an hour just to receive the drinks. The staff was totally overwhelmed. The store was full and not enough staff for the number of guests. It was over an hour before the food arrived and, like the drinks, not everything came together. Some were already finished before the others' food arrived. The dishes, especially the glasses, were not clean. The waitress responded to our criticism, which was then expressed snippily at some point. We understand that it sometimes takes longer, but we don't understand that the store is so full and there aren't enough staff to guarantee the service. We're definitely not coming back.

We have eaten at Quesadilla several times now and have received extremely friendly service every time! The food tastes very tasty and the portions are large. The (homemade) lemonades/cocktails are also recommended. We always enjoy coming back. The friendly and courteous behavior of the waitresses is really worth highlighting. Very pleasant.

Great, unique Mexican food! Although on the high side compared to what we are used to for Mexican food, it was still never the less very good. Love all the veggies in the tacos. We recommend and would come back if ever in the area again!

We were really pleasantly surprised by the quesadilla. The service was very nice, quick and courteous, the food was really excellent and all at a fair price. I really didn't find anything worth complaining about here. At most, you could perhaps screw a locking machine onto the toilet doors so that they close behind you - but that's really criticism at a high level. Absolutely recommended. xxxx EDIT a month later. xxxx After we were very enthusiastic about our first visit, as described above, we of course visited the restaurant again - unfortunately the result this time was much more disappointing. The special beer I ordered was turned into a country beer, and a chicken dish my wife ordered was incorrectly delivered as a vegetarian option. Corresponding complaints led to a quick exchange for the correct dish, but so quickly that it was still almost cold in the middle (and the grated cheese used, for example, had not melted) and some of the sauce was also on the bottom of the dish, probably due to the hectic preparation Plates hung. We didn't want to complain a second time because it would have made it impossible to eat together. The waitress during the payment process didn't seem to know anything about what the colleagues had done, otherwise the question of whether everything was okay would have already been answered. To cut a long story short: Although the service appeared to be trying hard and was always friendly, it quickly lost control of the chaos it had caused itself.

The food wasn't bad, but for the money you can eat better elsewhere. The sour cream and guacamole were not homemade but purchased. The aioli was almost inedible. The empty glasses were cleared away even though we wanted to stay seated and hadn't paid. We were not given any cutlery or napkins for the starter (nachos with sauce). There was no plate and when we asked, the waitress gave us a plate that was already at the table and which was previously used as a saucer. The atmosphere is quite nice because of the old town. The meat and vegetables were also delicious. Unfortunately the service leaves a lot to be desired.

There is only one star because you have to give one. -5 stars are deserved. The meal cost me €125 and ended up in the organic waste bin. Food is way too spicy, meat smells and tastes spoiled. The citizen is fried dead. Never again. When you ask, you are put off and told that the boss has to decide whether to cancel. You are put off on the phone, you get in touch again but nothing happens.

We were there for our mom breakfast with our babies. And we helped to get the strollers into the location, and space was also made for everyone without any problems. The service was great and the breakfast was really great. Lots of choice and fresh.

We ordered there once, but unfortunately the salad was forgotten. I then notified Lieferando and the owner immediately contacted me via WhatsApp. He apologized warmly and promised us that the next meal would be on the house. Today we wanted to order again, and to our huge surprise, not just two, but four meals including chips were free! I have truly never experienced such fantastic service. The food was incredibly tasty, super hot, fresh and simply cooked to perfection. The kindness and generosity of the owner are simply overwhelming. I've never experienced anything so positive - simply unbelievable! We are absolutely thrilled!

I can only recommend the quesadilla! My daughter invited me for her birthday, the breakfast and the staff were great!

We ordered via Lieferando and all I can say is that my next goal is to eat there on site. It was just incredibly delicious! The portions are really generous. Mega! I would recommend it to everyone!

I would like to write something about the food, but unfortunately we weren't asked to order. We had reserved a table for 8 p.m., were immediately escorted to our table and given the menu, so far so good... of course other guests arrived after us and were served immediately. After waiting for 40 minutes without even being asked what we wanted to drink or eat, we decided to visit another restaurant.

Super delicious breakfast (breakfast for 2), very nicely and appetizingly prepared in impeccable quality, would be happy to come again at any time!!!

Beautiful new location in the heart of Saarlouis. We had to wait over an hour for our food but it was delicious and fresh. There is also a large selection of drinks. Would love to come back Update We wanted to order something to eat because as unvaccinated people we are no longer allowed to go to the local. We called in the afternoon to save the kitchen stress and pick up ours at 7 p.m. Unfortunately this wasn't possible and we were asked to call from 6 p.m....it's questionable whether we would have received our food on time... Were there today for happy hour... Very disappointing. Had a margarita that consisted more of ice than anything else and to charge over 6 euros for it is outrageous.

Highly recommended, especially the quesadillas of the same name. It also has a bit of flair and is well attended. Delicious and still fair prices plus attentive, hard-working service.

The food was good. But unfortunately, even after 90 minutes, we still didn't have a main course; the starters came at long intervals. When the waiter dropped dishes, 3 guests at the table were left with shards of glass and sauce on them. No apology. Subterranean service, loud noises from the scullery all evening. Once and never again.

I would prefer not to give any stars. Were there on Sunday on June 23rd, 2024, waited 30 minutes until someone served us, then our coffee came very quickly. After another 30 minutes of waiting, we asked where our breakfast was. We were blatantly lied to by the waiter because he said that the oven had gone out. I heard that he told his colleague that he had told us that. Instead, to tell us the truth that they have forgotten us.... Afterwards our breakfast came very quickly but unfortunately not lovingly prepared. I would also have liked to drink my coffee warm for breakfast. We were very disappointed, especially because we paid over 70 euros for 3 people and then you expect more than such poor service!!! The toilet was also very dirty, no soap and no paper.

Exceptional restaurant, we ate the rump steak with Surfenders scampi, it was delicious, magnificent place, very clean and elegant, I advise everyone to come and discover this restaurant that welcomed us after 9:30 p.m. without any questions, we could eat in peace and everything was perfect!

Today my 10th birthday and my wife ate there. It was super tasty, my burger Al Feugo was subtly spicy, and the beef burger was nice and tender pink, just as it should be. My non-alcoholic wellness cocktail was mega. The employees are all so nice, as if you had known them for years. Music in the background is very youthful, I also think it's great Again and again Happy hour every day from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m 30% off all cocktails Breakfast every day from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m

Very, very tasty food! We have tried many Mexican restaurants and that certain something was always missing. With the Quesadilla we have now found our new favorite restaurant when it comes to Mexican cuisine. From the appetizer to the tequila afterwards, everything was consistently fantastic. The only (tiny) disadvantage is that the restaurant has many small niches and corners. There is also the outdoor area. Nice to sit in, bad for the staff. If you want something to drink you have to be a little patient, but that's complaining on a high level. We are already looking forward to the next visit

God help you! It is very expensive and the food is horrible, of the poorest quality possible. HE IS NOT MEXICAN. Maybe TEXMEX but it falls short. Better go to COYOTE or the best TEXMEX food, SAUSALITOS. Im Ernst, das schlechteste Tex-Mex-Essen, das ich je in meinem Leben gegessen habe.

Everything was okay but not great either. The margarita was extremely strongly mixed and the tables near the toilets unfortunately had a slightly unpleasant smell, despite lots of air fresheners.

Food was good, the portions were also large. However, our seat wasn't that nice and we had to wait a little longer for the drinks, but the interior was also completely full. The service was okay.

The chairs and benches were very comfortable. The service was nice. The rest there was a waste of time and money. Toilet dirty, toilet paper dirty. A lot of money for little service in the courts. The food was very tasty but for me the price-performance ratio and the service were simply not right For a tiny pot of extra sauce you will be charged *each* 2 euros I left over €50 for 1 portion of nachos without toppings, 2 appetizers and 2 drinks We asked if you could get a side salad with a dish *instead* of the sweet potato fries, and the answer was yes But then later it was billed separately/individually The service was overwhelmed with some processes, which meant that the payment process took 4 transactions instead of 2 and we later sent money back and forth to ourselves to make up for their mistakes In the end, paying took almost 20 minutes because she kept needing help from other employees It's really no blame for the employee herself, who was obviously new, and I understand that. But new employees should be trained to the extent that they can create separate invoices for two guests

I continue my little tour of the three Borders with a little craving for Tacos (the real ones)... Restaurant located in a pedestrian street. The menu is classic for a Mexican restaurant. Not the first nor the last time we came here to eat. Mexican cuisine with decent portions at a reasonable price. I've tried several things and so far it's always been delicious. A large selection of different drinks, including homemade lemonades and the service was always good. It's a bit cramped inside, but there's a harmonious atmosphere. And if you need more space, you can sit outside the door when the weather is good. Thumbs up, I'm looking forward to the next time.

Very nice and cozy atmosphere. You sit well and are served quickly. Unfortunately, a few things were mixed up in the orders, which is absolutely understandable with a table of +10 people on a Saturday evening. The food was very tasty and absolutely worth the price. But a lot of praise goes to the young blonde waitress who was always polite and very accommodating. Our surprise was even greater when she told us that she was still new. That was really great service. All in all a lovely evening that we will definitely repeat :)

For me, by far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. The dishes are all large and delicious. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy, the chairs and benches are very comfortable. The service can definitely be improved, untrained staff who don't remember who ordered what. Wrong drinks or forgotten drinks or the technology didn't work.

The food isn't great, unfortunately the service isn't great either and it's way too loud for me. We waited forever for food, the manager of the day said there were "many home service orders." Well, "if my neck doesn't crawl all over me," That's what they say in Saarland. For me, not again. I wish everyone else better luck.

At around 10:15 p.m. the waitress asked if we would like something else to drink. We ordered something else. When she brought it to the table, we were immediately asked if she could give us the bill. When asked if they were closing, she said no. They would just like to settle the cash register. Afterwards, the tables around us were swept. Oh well. But it got even better. You can then quickly wipe it with a damp cloth. It doesn't matter if there are still guests sitting there. According to their opening hours, they are open until 2am. When I asked again if they weren't open until 2 a.m., I got the following answer: If there's nothing going on, we'll close earlier. We chose this location because we thought we could sit comfortably for a while. We left the restaurant at 11:30 p.m. My tip: revise your opening times

So tonight I was at the Quesadilla in Saarlouis for the first and probably the last time. The food was mediocre, but expensive, at least. The drinks also have a hefty price, but that's not a big deal since you don't often get asked if you'd like to drink something else. But if you're asked, it's at 11 p.m. because you'd like to close the checkout then, even though the homepage says it's open until 2 a.m. But from 10:30 p.m. onwards you start sweeping, washing the tables and tidying up so that no one dares to order anything anymore. Of course, if you “sweep out” your customers early, you can finish work early.

Service: caring, attentive, smiling and pleasant staff. Cuisine: quantity is there as is quality A slight regret: the absence of Corona beer

Selten so nettes und professionelles Personal erlebt. Besonders der Kellner war extrem zuvorkommend. Das Essen darüber hinaus sehr lecker. Alles in allem top 👍🏻
