Sehr leckere Speisen!!! Sehr nettes Personal!!! Wir kommen wieder!!!

Wir waren gestern zu viert in diesem Lokal essen. Es war recht voll, deshalb mussten wir recht lange warten. Aber die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Nun zum Essen: Das Hauptgericht war lecker und mehr als ausreichend. Aber der Vorspeisenteller ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig. Es gab vor allem Dinge, die nicht unbedingt iranisch waren und die es auch normal in einem Laden zu kaufen gibt: Gurken, Oliven, getrocknete Tomaten, Tzatziki und andere Joghurtmischungen, mit Frischkäse gefüllte Peperoni und Tomaten. Wir haben das Bild vom Vorspeisenteller des alten Queens-Restaurant in der Lotzestraße gesehen. Dieser Teller sah vollkommen anders und abwechslungsreicher aus. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne.

Das Essen war einfach hervorragend und hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, herzlich und aufmerksam, wodurch man sich sofort wohlgefühlt hat. Ich kann dieses Restaurant zu 100 % weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren am Samstag zu viert dort und haben zu Abend gegessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Das Essen wurde zügig zubereitet, war frisch, ansehnlich angerichtet und hat super geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren sehr gut sättigend. Das Flair hat noch den Touch des vormaligem griechischen Restaurants, aber das stört wenig. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen!

Von außen unscheinbar, aber ein echter Geheimtipp! Wir waren mit der Arbeit hier essen (15 Personen) und waren alle sehr zufrieden. Der Service war aufmerksam, schnell und freundlich. Die verschiedenen Gerichte (Lamm, vegetarisch, Hähnchen) wurden mit Reis und Gemüse serviert und waren alle super lecker und schnell zubereitet. Ich selbst hatte Hähnchen (Gericht Nummer 3) und war so begeistert, dass ich zwei Tage später gleich nochmal hier essen war. Es gibt auch Sitzplätze im Garten, wir saßen jedoch wetterbedingt drinnen. Preis-Leistung stimmt absolut. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😋

Ich möchte Ihnen kurz das Menü mit Lammhaxe und Lammkotelett empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Essen. Gute Qualität, freundliche Bedienung, die einen auch Ratschläge gibt. Verbunden mit guten Preisen macht das einen schönen Abend.

Natürlich ist es traurig, dass das Symposium geschlossen ist. Aber immerhin: ein würdiger Nachfolger ist mit dem Queens (warum heißt es nur so?! 🤔) gefunden! Das persische Essen ist phantastisch und die so freundlichen neuen Gastgeber herzlich! Unbedingt ausprobieren. Das Auge isst mit! Gerichte und Vorspeisen werden gemeinsam auf orientalischen Tellern dekoriert. Nur die Inneneinrichtung bedarf noch etwas orientalischeres Flair, hier lebt noch der griechische Geist…

Wirklich schade. Hatten uns so auf das Essen gefreut. Wer das Essen gut findet, kann wahrscheinlich nicht kochen und ist nichts besseres gewohnt. Gebe selten eine Bewertung ab. Aber konnte mir echt was anhören von meinem Mann. So ein schlechtes Essen. 60€ für die Mülltonne. Grillteller für 2 Personen. Safran Reis gut gekocht, aber um kein teures Safran zu benutzen, einfach mit bratenfettsosse übergossen. Dann war es gelber Reis. Köfta Spieß Wirklich schrecklich gewürzt. Das andere Fleisch war ok. Aber auch für den Preis, geschmacklich nicht gut und das Fleisch für 2 Personen einfach zu wenig. Kein Salat, rote Zwiebeln, Joghurt oder... dabei gewesen. Pünktlich ist das Essen angekommen. Hatte mich wegen den positiven Bewertungen zur Bestellung hinreißen lassen. Jetzt darf ich nichts mehr bestellen. Also wieder nach Kassel oder Hannover zum Essen fahren. Stellt mal einen anderen Koch ein oder lieber mal eine libanesische Frau. Dann würden der Laden laufen. Wünsche euch noch viel Glück. Sorry für diese schlechte Bewertung. Aber das musste ich mal wirklich loswerden.

Ich bin hier nach einer 7 Stunden Zugreise ankommen, und das Essen war pure Heilung.

Die Vorspeise und auch das Hauptgericht waren wirklich sehr lecker, geschmacklich authentisch und schön zubereitet. Leider konnte der Nachtisch nicht mit dem hohen Niveau der vorherigen Gänge mithalten. Er wirkte eher lieblos und geschmacklich enttäuschend, sodass der insgesamt sehr gute Eindruck etwas getrübt wurde. Auch das Ambiente hat uns etwas überrascht… Die Einrichtung erinnerte deutlich mehr an ein griechisches Restaurant. Dadurch fehlte ein wenig die Atmosphäre. Insgesamt lohnt sich der Besuch wegen des guten Essens durchaus, insbesondere für Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte. Beim Dessert und der Gestaltung des Lokals gibt es jedoch noch Verbesserungspotenzial!

Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich gut. Mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Göttingen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Nach kurzer Wartezeit war unser Essen frisch zubereitet auf dem Tisch. Hat allen geschmeckt und satt wurden wir obendrein. Wir kommen wieder!

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Die Gerichte hier werden so köstlich zubereitet und die Atmosphäre des Restaurants ist so entspannend, dass man wirklich das Gefühl hat, in Iran zu sein. Ich bin extra aus Passau hierher gekommen und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Klein, aber fein. Wir waren als Geburtstagsgruppe dort essen. Das Essen hat allen lecker geschmeckt und nach 4,5 Std. mussten wir dann gehen, da dann geschlossen wurde. Der Eigentümer war immer freundlich und hat einen tollen Service geboten. Danke für den tollen Abend.

Ich kann nur den Lieferservice bewerten: das Essen schmeckt mir sehr gut. Leider dauert die Lieferung manchmal etwas lang (60 Min), es kam aber bisher immer warm an. Das Essen ist sehr würzig und geschmacksintensiv. Ich würde es jedem weiterempfehlen, der die orientalische Küche mag :) Auch sind die Lieferanten immer sehr freundlich. Mittlerweile bestelle ich gelegentlich seit 2 Jahren und die Reisbeilage wurde etwas verändert (siehe Foto: Tomate, Paprika, Kartoffel), das gefällt mir sehr gut.

Ein sehr nettes kleines Imbiss-Restaurant. Sehr netter Service. Die Stühle sind sehr bequem. Wir waren zu dritt essen. Unser Hund durfte mit rein und hatte genügend Platz. Das Essen war absolut KÖSTLICH! Wir waren alle 3 begeistert. Hauptspeise, wie auch der Nachtisch- alles sehr empfehlenswert! Wir werden definitiv wieder hier essen.

We travel from Kassel to Göttingen specifically to visit this restaurant. We find the food here incredibly delicious and the service very attentive. We have been loyal customers for five years and have never been disappointed. We have tried Persian cuisine elsewhere, but this is by far the best.

The food was OK, but only lukewarm. The portions for three people on one plate were very modest and too expensive. The decor is hideous. The service is friendly but inattentive. I've had much better Persian food. But also much worse.

The food is very juicy and flavorful. The waiters are very friendly and serve the food really quickly. The restaurant is in a quiet location and isn't as noisy as in the city. I would definitely come back.

I'm vegan, but there are still plenty of delicious options to choose from. The rice is very special and not like what you'd find in other stores. Very nice!

This is a friendly Iranian restaurant, with great food at reasonable prices. In the spring and summer you can sit out front, and soak up the chill Sudstadt vibes while you dine. The menu has lots of choices, but my personal favorite is the "Schevid Polo Mahiche" (Lammhaxe).

Good quality and friendly staff, but the portions are rather small compared to other Iranian restaurants. The skewered kebabs could have been a bit thicker, and the rice could have been a bit more generous.

As someone who is familiar with Persian cuisine and knows it well from personal experience, my visit to Restaurant Queen in Göttingen was a disappointment. There were four of us and we were looking forward to various grilled specialties, but we were negatively surprised in several respects. The menu here on Google is outdated and the prices are now (as of May 2025) much more expensive! Instead of individually served plates for 4 people, the food was served on a large shared platter. We had to wait 30 minutes for the food. Although the presentation seemed appealing at first glance, the actual scope was rather small. What was particularly noticeable was the disproportion between meat and side dishes - the proportion of rice was very limited. Bread was not served automatically but had to be requested separately. 😒👎🏽 Unfortunately, the quality of the grilled skewers did not meet the expectations of authentic Persian cuisine. The pieces of meat were not seasoned and the marinade was hardly aromatic. Unfortunately, the taste of the food was by no means special or memorable. In addition, basic things such as salt, pepper or suitable sauces for the meat were missing from the table - these accompaniments are particularly important to round off the taste of grilled meat! In my opinion the price is clearly too high for what is offered. The portion size, the lack of service and the unconvincing taste are disproportionate to the pricing. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽 Conclusion: Queen may initially impress with its presentation, but is absolutely not convincing in terms of taste or content! If you're looking for authentic Persian cuisine, you won't find it here - especially if you know it from your own experience. Unfortunately no recommendation.

What an amazing restaurant! I visited this place from London, which has more than its fair share of Iranian restaurants. This place easily tops most of them! Food was really good, service was more than amazing, and you could see the owners actually cared for and loved what they were doing — they had a passion for Iranian cuisine and for hospitality. I’ll come to this place every time I come back here!

As a culinary globetrotter, I am very impressed by what is on offer. There are dishes and tastes here that I have never experienced before! The sauces are exceptional and homemade with high-quality ingredients, not canned. The Khashkebademjan (eggplant with yogurt, garlic and mint) is sophisticatedly delicious and the chicken kebabs taste different than expected. The two sweets I tried tasted surprisingly wonderful - the Iranian ice cream with saffron and the sweet noodles (!) with exotic spices. I'm thrilled! Queen definitely gets my regular orders.
