We ate at the Timberhaus Steakhouse in Siegen. The ambiance is truly beautiful and high-quality, for which I give a solid 9 out of 10. The service was also friendly, attentive, and quick – also 9 out of 10. Unfortunately, the food had some significant shortcomings. The burgers were completely overcooked, even though they weren't ordered "well done." Medium or any other desired doneness was not apparent. The fries were okay, but nothing special – I would give them 4 out of 10. The children's burger was also very dry. My wife enjoyed the food, but it wasn't a real highlight for her either. Overall, the meal was rather average for me and therefore gets 5 out of 10. Conclusion: Great ambiance and very good service, but there's definitely room for improvement with the food.

I don't know where these bad reviews come from; maybe Siegen has a lot of complaining students. In any case, friendly staff, good value for money!

Beautiful, modern brewery restaurant with a large beer garden. Suitable for large events and festivities. Free parking is available. The menu is reminiscent of Bavarian breweries. The salad is decent, with plenty of ingredients and a tasty dressing. The cheese board and snack board are also decent. Meat dishes such as schnitzel and fried chicken are unfortunately all frozen goods from the deep fryer. Brewery potatoes are just fries with the potato skins on. The sauces served with them are a matter of taste. For the quality offered, the dishes are €€€. A knuckle of pork, for example, costs €26. The owner should think carefully about the kitchen offerings; the concept can only survive in the Siegerland region if the food is good and plentiful. A schnitzel from the pan and a juicy roast pork or beef are not on the memory card. As the dining room is very large and not divided up, you have to be able to live with a corresponding noise level. OK for an evening with a group of 8-10 people, but the experience is not enough to warrant a return.
