Überteuerte Bretterbude ,dessen Qualität und Ambiente immer mehr sinkt ! Schade vor ca.3 Jahren konnte man dieses Lokal noch empfehlen !

Fangen wir erst einmal mit dem Guten an. Das Essen war soweit in Ordnung, aber in der Vergangenheit besser. Da bleiben wir auch direkt beim Thema Vergangenheit, früher waren die Portionen etwas größer und günstiger. Es ist in Ordnung, dass der Preis steigt, aber die Portionen sind deutlich kleiner geworden. Ebenso wurde im Außenbereich gesagt, dass ein Heizstrahler, erst ab einem gewissen Umsatz angemacht werden kann. Insgesamt merkt man den Kostendruck und damit auch ein schlechteres Erlebnis, mit einer schlechteren Qualität und aktuell deutlich kleineren Portionen. Bei Erwähnung das ca. 15-20 Pommes etwas wenig sind, wird auch erstmal nur darüber gelacht. Also wir kommen erst einmal nicht wieder….

Food depends on the day, sometimes great, sometimes so-so.

Hello, we went for brunch on Sunday with 7 adults and a child aged 6. When we looked through the bill at home, we noticed that we had been charged 8 times the price for adults and 1 time the reduced price for children, €19.80 too much.

There is still some room for improvement in food! The service is excellent, the ladies and gentlemen were very attentive. Again and again.

All in all very good. Because of the prices we wouldn't come here too often now.

A great place to stay, both with family and friends. We love the breakfast buffet on Saturdays. There is a great selection where everyone can find something. But the warm food at lunchtime/evening is also great. There is also a nice selection of drinks, both standard and new creations. The only thing that bothers me is that you can only reserve your place for 2 hours. But otherwise everything about this restaurant is just right. I like going there

Very nice there, but I was disappointed with the food. The schnitzel with the hollondaise sambal oelek was really a disappointment. The schnitzels were pressed ready-made schnitzels and the sauce was not worth it. For the price I expected a piece of meat and not shaped meat.

We had breakfast in the café with 3 people and paid €36. The price-performance ratio was okay. What I have to complain about is that for 5 rolls there were 3 mini portions of butter. I then ordered 3 mini butters, these were charged at €3.40, which I see as extortionate. So I only give one star and we'll have breakfast somewhere else in the future

In den vergangenen Jahren war ich immer wieder einmal hier. Diesmal bin ich von den Speisen durchweg maximal enttäuscht. Mrine Freundin hatte Schnitzel Del Dol, das dunkelbraun serviert wurde. Der Chilimayo fehlte jede Schärfe. Das Beste waren die Pommes. Das kennen wir rigentlich anders.Meine bestellten Minikartoffeln auf Rucola mit Cherrytomaten, Sourcream und Hähnchenstreifen waren fast nicht essbar: Die schon beim Servieren nur mäßig warmen ( innen fast kalten) Kartoffeln schwammen in Öl, die wenigen Rucolablätter waren matschig, die 3 halben Cherrytomaten völlig übergart. Die " gegrillten Hühnchenstreifen" waren labberig und gummiartig- offensichtlich Formfleisch. Die " Sourcream" entpuppte sich als fettig- schleimig Masse mit undefinierbarem Geschmack. Das Beste war der Ceylontee. Wie bisher immer erlebt war der Service sehr gut - deshalb gab es auch ein Trinkgeld, die Servicekraft ist ja nicht an der miesen Qualität des Essens schuld. Ich habe meine Beschwerde bei ihm ausgesprochen. Er hat dich entschuldigt und meinte, dass es in der " seit einiger Zeit eher schlecht läuft". Fazit: gpr mich wird es erst einmal keinen Besuch om Del Sol geben. Ist inzwischen nur noch was für Leute, denen mässiges fastfoodessen in netter Atmosphäre reicht.

Great food, nice service and a beautiful restaurant. The only defect is the inferior cutlery. The service was particularly good, Chris needs a raise in my opinion, he gives good tips (he has experience with food).

Delicious, but not every dish is a hit (such as the ribs or the pintas). I can highly recommend the classics, e.g. the Schnitzel del Sol or the burgers. Unfortunately, the quantity becomes smaller and smaller over the years and the price becomes more expensive. But there are always cool promotions, such as being able to reorder as many dishes as you want. Nice atmosphere, also suitable for larger groups. Miscellaneous: - Free WiFi - free parking - Toilets

I have been visiting this restaurant for years, including today. For the first time, I unfortunately have to say that I am completely disappointed with the food. The completely saltless, only lukewarm mini potatoes were swimming in oil, and the rocket salad was correspondingly soggy. The "sour cream" was not recognizable as such, it was just a greasy mass with an undefined taste. The “grilled chicken strips” are obviously made from molded meat and are correspondingly soft in consistency. Conclusion: This is not recommended. However, the service was friendly and attentive as usual.

Went to the Cafe del Sol in Siegen today (Monday 3:00 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.). The service staff is super friendly and attentive. The drinks came very quickly. We didn't have to wait long for our food either. The ambience is very nice. BUT Due to the open design (train station hall flair), the volume is very high. Due to the reverberation in the building, the volume of the audience's conversation became louder and louder. I would recommend that service staff wear ear plugs with a dampener during peak times and generally to avoid hearing damage. (These are also very helpful for sensitive people like me) I recommend that management carry out a volume measurement. This means that acoustic panels or something similar could be used to avoid reverberation and thus reduce the volume. (Through my work I have gained an insight into acoustic measurements and can only recommend looking into it) We won't visit the place at peak times, it's just too loud.

The decoration is very nice, atmospheric, located in a cozy place, the cafe is clean. The order waited about 20 minutes, my dish (schnitzel with sweet potato) was very tasty, but the hamburger could be tastier in my opinion, the patty is not very juicy and the bun is dry, the drinks are also delicious.

Drinks came a little late, which of course also has to do with the number of guests. The food was solid, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was fine. The price-performance ratio is also right.

The food there is always good. 6 of us set out and wanted to eat there. At the door we were very rudely informed that there would be a wait of up to 1 hour for our food. We gave it that acceptance. The waitress then said she had to make a stop here now. That means we can go again. She threw her rag i. The corner and ignored us. We then gave up and will never enter the building again. I told her that it was a shame that she was so unfriendly and annoyed and that we were leaving. Then she just said. Then that's how it is. I don't need that. We just wanted a nice evening.

We were spontaneously there with two people on a rainy Sunday at the end of June 2024. Getting a table wasn't a problem, there was still plenty free. The prices for the drinks are "hui" - a homemade iced tea costs €6.70 for 0.5 liters (according to the menu if I remember - I can't see the calibration mark on the glass?!). The prices for the main courses are okay. My chili cheese burger was offered for €11.90, plus fries for (I mean) €2.90. The fries were really plentiful and filled the wooden board with the burger very well. The burger could have been seasoned much more strongly for my taste. The kitchen management seems to have a great fondness for rocket salad, but there is also normal salad for the burgers - luckily ;-) All in all, the visit was completely fine. If the opportunity arises, I would generally eat here again. The service was very nice and the atmosphere was pleasant. The music was also at a good volume - it was easy to have a conversation.

We were in the restaurant with 9 people as part of a work event and there was relatively little going on, nothing crowded or anything like that. Unfortunately, the service disappointed us given this low occupancy. Some of us waited about an hour for our food and the waiters didn't even know who owned which drinks. Unfortunately the service was inexperienced and overwhelmed. The food wasn't a highlight in our case. The pulled turkey was not fresh or came from a frozen food store, which is exactly what you can buy in the supermarket. In my case the burger was also cold, only the fries were really good and hot. All in all, I unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant, even if the ambience is really great.

Even though the restaurant is very nice, we are very disappointed. When I made the reservation it already started, called 11 times and no call was answered. When we were there, the restaurant was almost empty and the waitresses were sitting/standing around at the counter. The starter was okay, the main course was unfortunately not, the food was cold and the burger bread was as soft as untoasted toast. After getting our food, we were no longer served. Even when paying, no one asked if everything was OK. NO RECOMMENDATION FROM US!!!

The Del Sol Schnitzel is the best

Café del Sol is very nice, unfortunately a bit too loud. Service was very friendly, but unfortunately too expensive for the food.

A nice place to meet up with friends and family. However, the atmosphere suffers a bit when the store is not that busy. The rooms are already huge. And so there is a bit of a lack of comfort when there are only two people eating there 😉. Otherwise we like to go there every now and then. Nice staff..

The salad tasted very like earth. It probably wasn't washed well and I don't even want to start talking about the service. There was simply no service. It was only done when requested and even then it was like a horse with blinders on and it wasn't served Glasses respected or otherwise made suggestions of their own accord. There was also no wish for a good appetite and they were generally very unfriendly.

Unfortunately no longer recommended. Underground burgers, the patty is pressed cardboard, frozen mass produced, just doesn't taste good. You don't have to go to a restaurant for this. Waited forever for a pilsner because apparently all the glasses were sold out, even though there were hardly any beer drinkers there. That was the last time.

We were there with our group of friends to have a nice evening. The service from the waiters was really adequate. They were courteous, kind and attentive. Therefore five out of five stars in this section! Due to the situation there, we had to wait about 50 minutes for our moderately good food. Personally, I wasn't happy with the food. This results from the facts that the burger we ordered (chilli cheese burger) was far too dry. The meat was fried to death and had no resemblance to a juicy beef patty! The briochebun was almost hard in places and crumbled! The burger was also very poorly topped. So in summary you can say that I will no longer dine in the village! The toilets weren't exactly great either! I mean honestly you fix your outfit and then you can't open the door without actually almost having to go to the toilet! So everything is built very, very tightly. Finally, I would like to emphasize once again that the service was excellent! However, I will not visit this establishment again!

Unfortunately, the Pinsa for lunch was at a frozen level, the cheese wasn't melted properly, the dough wasn't well cooked and the toppings were very poor. A clear plus point is the relatively large number of vegan and vegetarian options.

Das Café del Sol ist seit Jahren DIE FESTE GRÖßE in der Siegener Gastronomie. Oft, wenn ich in meine Geburtsstadt Siegen zurückkomme, gehe ich dorthin; zum Beispiel um alte Schulfreunde zu treffen. Das Essen ist immer lecker und die Bedienung sehr organisiert und freundlich. Gerade beim letzten Besuch sind die Bediensteten Melissa und Alyssa besonders positiv aufgefallen. Melissa hat uns mit Kompetenz, Humor und Charme bedient. Sie hat ausgezeichnete Umgangsformen mit Gästen und man merkt, dass sie ihre Tätigkeit gerne macht. Wir kommen gerne wieder und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

The Café del Sol has been THE FIRST SIZE in Siegen's gastronomy scene for years. Often when I return to my hometown of Siegen, I go there; for example to meet old school friends. The food is always delicious and the service is very organized and friendly. Especially during the last visit, the servants Melissa and Alyssa made a particularly positive impression. Melissa served us with competence, humor and charm. She has excellent manners with guests and you can tell that she enjoys what she does. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to our next visit.

I've been there for breakfast several times and have always been very satisfied. Today I had dinner for the first time and I was absolutely positively surprised! Everything was delicious and the staff was very attentive and friendly! I can recommend it 100%! Always very happy!

Very nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, fast service, but the food is too expensive in relation to the portions, in terms of taste it can be compared with a good factory canteen. The side salad was served in a very small bowl and as such was not noteworthy. It doesn't fulfill the status of a good restaurant. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. To be honest, the staff makes up for a lot of deficiencies with their friendly, courteous nature. Anyone who has few demands when it comes to food is in good hands here.

Apparently my review was deleted. That's why again... It's a shame that you don't have the option of not giving any "stars" at all. Because that would be appropriate. What is offered as “food” (at least that was the case with us) is just ridiculous. First of all, the wrong thing was served to the table. The portion was probably a child's portion because otherwise I can't explain the measly schnitzel (Jägerschnitzel), the 5 (five) mushrooms and the 20 (twenty) fries. Salad was OK. The waitress had probably had enough herself because all she received were outrageous comments. It's crazy how the quality has continuously changed downwards over the years. Cafe del Sol? Drink yes, eat NEVER AGAIN.

Went there on Sunday with some friends. Since my food hadn't come after an hour, we asked waitress "M." asked. We were ignored by her. Then went to the counter and asked the same person again about the food. The answer was, very unfriendly and rude, asking if we still wanted the food. The preparation then began. Were invited to a birthday brunch. It was really great, nice atmosphere, clean, service very friendly, also very patient and nice with the children. The food or buffet was also very tasty and plentiful, there was something for everyone. Haven't been there the last time.

I actually like coming to you. The ambience is really really nice. However, on my previous visit I was surprised. After I ordered one of these half pinsas and a friend ordered a whole one, we noticed that the dough was super hard. We asked one of the service staff about it and she said that the bosses wanted to use less dough for the pinsas, but that they should be baked for the same time as before. Hence the very “crispy” result. Of course that doesn't make much sense. And then for the same price, less product. When I visited yesterday, even though we had reserved, we had to wait about 30 minutes. Somehow we couldn't keep up with the food on site and there were considerable delays. We then had to wait another 45 minutes for our food. We were told this after we had already ordered. Of course something like that can happen. The drinks are always very tasty. It's perfectly fine for every now and then.

The creamy lattes are some of the best I've ever drunk. The waitress treated me with more love than my own mother. I am very grateful! Konme again!

There is no reason to complain about the service and ambience. Unfortunately, things are different when it comes to food. Price-performance doesn't fit at all. You get poor quality food at overpriced prices. My son even got food poisoning from the chili cheese fries and vomited all night. I have never experienced anything like it! I complained to the service about the quality of the food for these utopian prices. He was already aware of the problem and asked me to contact the office so that something could finally change. Dissatisfied customers, dissatisfied employees - something is wrong. Addendum: my son has been vomiting for 2 days now!

All in all, you can eat well here. I found it to be quite loud today, and the music in the background was so loud that it was difficult to have a conversation.

Was there again after several years, service was okay, drinks and bill were quick. Food (citizens) was loveless and one of the simplest and worst that I have received in a restaurant for a long time. Completely out of the question at that price.

It's quite unusual to place an order and then find out when it's served which ingredients weren't available, only to end up paying full price anyway. It wasn't tasty and it wasn't the first time something like this had happened. Something is always. But it never actually tasted good. Not even if everything was supposed to have been there for a dish. You go here out of convenience because it's around the corner and then avoid it for a long time because unfortunately you only seem to learn from your mistakes temporarily.

Top breakfast, fresh and delicious. The boathouse in Olpe could learn something from that!!! 😉

I found it borderline to be greeted and addressed as guests with “Hi girls” as people in their mid to late fifties. A friendly “Hello” would have been enough. There were no requests for additional drinks. If I order a Coca Cola Zero, I want that too and not a Sinalco Cola, the information was missing. The milk coffee was great, the big breakfast was very good. When paying you were discreetly told to "choose something", a small hidden hint to give a tip. As always, very loud background noise, an employee was constantly standing outside and smoking, that didn't make a good impression on me, that should be handled more discreetly.

Had to wait almost an hour before we could place the order, even though we were almost the only customers. Chilli burger that was supposed to be spicy was bland and certainly not spicy.

Our favorite restaurant 😍 That was it once... Service is snippy, you are supposed to take a table at 5:15 p.m. but it was already reserved for 6:15 p.m. So you wait about 30 minutes for the food, it's best to pay beforehand so you can leave quickly. Very loud, there were children running around loudly everywhere and dogs barking under the tables. It was all different. Nothing against children and dogs, but eating in peace is probably no longer possible here... As regular customers we drove again for the first time...

Substandard service from some employees. As a long-time guest of this restaurant, I was unfortunately extremely disappointed with my visit for the second time. Although the food is, as usual, nothing to complain about, I couldn't overlook the unprofessional service. It was clear that some employees desperately needed training on how to communicate appropriately with customers. It is unacceptable to simply brush someone off when they have legitimate concerns or questions. Friendly and professional communication should be a top priority and it is unfortunate that this was not the case here. However, it is difficult to give a positive overall rating when the customer service is so disappointing. I sincerely hope that management takes this feedback seriously and takes action to ensure such incidents do not occur again. Until then, I will unfortunately hesitate to recommend or visit this restaurant again. The competitor, which is located just a few meters away, is years ahead of Cafe Del Sol with its service.

It was my first time here at Cafe del Sol and I ordered the Schnitzel Holiday, where I was allowed to reorder as much schnitzel as I was allowed. The first schnitzel came quite quickly within about 10 minutes and tasted okay. The schnitzels were medium in size, which was to be expected with a deal like this. However, when I ordered the 2 schnitzels, it took about 45 minutes and a very sad, small schnitzel arrived with a slightly burnt breading. The schnitzel itself was nothing like the one before and was full of tendons, cartilage and bone splinters. Was a little disappointed... The drinks were good and my companion's BBQ burger was ok. Unfortunately the terijaki chicken pinsa was without chicken 😆. Hope that helps.

Super nice atmosphere there. The service was consistently polite, open-minded and friendly. The food, whether breakfast or dinner, is delicious. There should be something for everyone. It was also clean and the air was also pleasant. Only the toilets were small or very small and could be a little more hygienic

Wir haben eine Dreiviertelstunde auf unser Essen gewartet. Und das auf eine Pinsa , French Fries und Humus Falafel Fries. Die Pinsa stand erst mal 10 Minuten da und wurde nicht an den Tisch gebracht. Zum Glück wurde die entsorgt.Als das Essen endlich kam konnte ich die Pinsa nicht schneiden. Der Teig war zu hart und den Ruccola hatte die Bedienung auch vergessen. Wurde extra an den Tisch gebracht. Ungenießbar . Schon eingetrocknet. Sowas darf nicht serviert werden. Die Preise viel zu hoch . Für die Pinsa wo der Teig zu hart war 14,90, die French Fries mit Süßkartoffeln 8,50 Am schlimmsten waren die Getränke . Für eine Sinalco Cola 3,90 Als wir der Bedienung sagten das die Pinsa nicht gut war da meinte sie nur das hätten sie vorher sagen müssen. Was hätte das gebracht. Der Teig wird wohl der gleiche gewesen sein. Die Pinsa muss fluffig sein und nicht steinhart. Wir werden bestimmt nicht mehr kommen

Here, too, you can see the price inflation - the dishes and drinks are significantly more expensive than they were a few months ago. I ate a pinsa (pizza) here - At first I was disappointed that the well-known “Meter Pizza” no longer exists. The replacement product is significantly smaller - but has the same amount and tastes similar to its predecessor thanks to the thicker dough. Depending on where you sit, the atmosphere is relatively hectic. But just right for an evening with friends and good conversations.

Parking lot in front. Staff very friendly and helpful always with a smile. From breakfast to lunch everything was very rich and very tasty. You can also eat or drink outside. It's beautifully furnished, there's a lot to look at. A great one steals. The outside area is great. We live about 260km away. But the journey there is always worth it. Thank you

First of all: the employees were all helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the food is not worth 5 stars. The portions were rather small and manageable, but the taste was ok. The ambience is great and the outdoor area is beautifully landscaped.

It's a shame the food has really deteriorated, the schnitzel is very dry and tough, there's not a lot of hollandaise sauce and at that price you really expect something different!

Good parking, delicious breakfast.

We were there last week, the schnitzel was too dry for my father and I thought it was a shame that the pomegranate seeds were no longer fresh. Otherwise everything is okay, a bit overpriced.

The service is friendly, the food is nothing complicated but OK. The background noise is constantly too loud. You can only order still water from the refrigerator, that's unnecessary and unhealthy, what's the point? There is no warm water in the toilet to wash your hands, which I consider to be outrageous. As a result, many people, especially children, automatically do not wash their hands properly after using the toilet, which is not possible because of the ice-cold water. They try to save water here at the expense of the guests' health, something like that just doesn't work!!!!

Food was good. Service too. The only downside was that we wanted to order by phone and were told that was the way to do it. When we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation because everything was full. The person behind the counter was approached by his colleague and brought us to the table in a bad mood. But otherwise everything was good.

Very nice atmosphere, staff open-minded, friendly and attentive. Drinks great. Food... there's still room for improvement. Salads, bread and aioli were great. Unfortunately, the pinsa came cold and could have been topped more generously, otherwise it was delicious.

It was one of my favorite cafes, but for the first time in my life, I waited 75 minutes for a meal and after 30 minutes, I had to leave the table because the people who made reservations would come.. perfect.

My girlfriend and I went there for the breakfast buffet last Saturday. The buffet was very rich, very well prepared and everything tasted excellent! The whole atmosphere was really nice and cozy. Unfortunately, our drinks were only brought to the table twice after we asked. But that's the only thing I have to criticize! But it was also quite busy and the waitresses had a lot to do and were still very friendly! You should definitely reserve a table! We'll definitely go back! 😃👍

Sehr sehr enttäuschend... Ich ging mit wenig Erwartungen sehr Spontan mit meiner Freundin hier Essen, da wir vor der City Galerie und paar anderen Geschäften satt werden wollten. Personal war insgesamt freundlich, nett und es gab nichts Negatives zu sagen, Ambiente war für mich in Ordnung und meine Freundin fand es sogar ganz gemütlich. Ich hatte mir einen Classic Burger, Pommes und Cola für 16 Euro und paar Cent bestellt. Meine Freundin hatte sich die Classic bzw. (oberste Pinsa) mit extra Schinken und einem Wasser für 16 Euro und paar Cent bestellt. Der Burger hat mich echt sehr enttäuscht und ich glaube es selbst nicht wie sehr ich enttäuscht wurde. Ich sage einfach ehrlich das es für mich ein Freibad Burger war... Wenn ich sowas im Freibad für 10 Euro inklusive Pommes bekomme dann ist es halt okay aber nicht in so einem Laden wie hier. Man sieht den Burger auf dem Bild nicht perfekt aber es sieht auf dem Bild langweilig aus und in echt bzw. egal aus welchem Winkel sieht er auch wirklich so aus wie auf dem Foto. Übrigens kam alles kalt an, Pommes waren Knusprig und lecker, trotzdem war alles kalt. Etwas Mayonnaise, dann das Patty was wirklich nur so grad okay war, aber mehr nicht... und darunter waren noch Lieblos aussehende Tomaten scheiben und was ich sehr komisch auf einem Burger finde war Salat Gurke... Pommes waren insgesamt lecker. Ich habe wirklich null erwartet und wenn ich schon hier sowas schreiben muss, dann muss es was heißen. Wir gehen oft Burger Essen, haben schon in einigen Läden gegessen von McDonalds und co, der Durschnitt bis hin zu sehr guten Läden und auch z.B Goldies in Berlin. Nein ich erwarte hier keinen 1A Burger mit dem besten Fleisch und bester Qualität aber der Burger war wirklich der, der mich nach Jahren das erste mal so wirklich mehr als enttäuscht hat. Das einzige was für mich in Ordnung war, war das Brötchen, der rest war lieblos und sehr fragwürdig... Ist nicht böse gemeint, es ist einfach nur schade und sowas sollte nicht angeboten werden in der Art für noch gerundet 10 Euro (nur der Burger). Meine Freundin schließt sich da ganz an. Die Pizza hat uns beiden wirklich gut geschmeckt und das muss ich hier auf wirklich sagen, das war nicht schlecht! Ich kann nicht mehr als 2 Sterne geben... insgesamt 2,5 aber man kann auf Maps leider ja keine Halben Sterne verteilen und 3 Sterne sind für mich nach so einem Burger doch irgendwie auch nicht richtig... Meine Freundin würde wiederum insgesamt etwas zwischen 4 und 5 Sterne geben, da es aber meine Bewertung und Erfahrung mit speziell dem Gericht ist, gebe ich so eine ehrliche aber geringe Bewertung.

Burger Urlaub für 13,90 € stand für unsere dreiköpfige Gruppe auf der Agenda. Heißt im Klartext, dass man (oder Frau) zw. 8 Burger-Variationen incl. Pommes & Salat bis zum Abwinken auswählen kann. Jeweils 3 Burger haben wir geschafft, da wir noch fürs Dessert Platz lassen wollten. Abgesehen von der Qualität der Briochebrötchen (sehr trocken, nicht knusprig) haben uns Chicken Burger, Chili Cheese Burger, Feta Rucola Burger und BBQ Bacon Burger alles in allem gut geschmeckt. Hervorheben möchte ich noch die Temperatur der Pommes. Bei jedem Durchgang waren die Pommes schön heiß. Beim erwähnten Dessert haben wir Belgische Waffel mit Vanilleeis sowie Vanille-Crunch vertilgt. Ich selbst war mit Vanille-Crunch sehr zufrieden, jedoch waren beide Waffeln meiner Kollegah etwas zu lang der Hitze ausgesetzt. Die Waffeln waren recht dunkel und trocken. Mir war's egal, so konnte ich noch ne Waffel abstauben. Apropos Staub. Die Hygiene auf'm WC war o.k., im Restaurant sehr gut. Teilweise ist das Mobiliar in die Jahre gekommen, die Sitzflächen unserer Stühle waren porös und teilweise eingerissen, ein Teller am Rand war stark beschädigt. Diese kleinen Mängel dämpfen jedoch die gute Atmosphäre von Siegens del Sol in keinster Weise. Mitarbeiterfreundlichkeit war sehr gut. Die gut gelaunte Manuela begleitete uns durch den Abend. Weiterer Pluspunkt war die gute Internetverbindung des frei verfügbaren Wlans. Empfehlung mit 4 Sternen.

Ein Tisch für 6 Personen war reserviert. Die Person die unsere Bestellung aufgenommen hab kam mir nicht seriös rüber. Es kamen die Vorspeisen die waren gut allerdings fehlten 2 Teller. Nach 10 min fehlten die Bestellungen ich habe der netten zuckersüßen Frau nachgefragt sie sagten die würden garnicht aufgegeben. Zur Hauptspeise teilweise nicht essbar Pizza war wie Krepp papier der Rest auch naja. Essen und qualitativ hat das echt nach gelassen. Traurig. Zum Abend war das ein Misserfolg.

Leider hat mir meine Pizza garnicht geschmeckt .Sie kam kalt an und hat nach einer Tiefkühlpizza geschmeckt .Zudem war Sie sehr klein für den Preis.Das Personal hingegen war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.Ich finde wenn man so viel Geld für sein Essen bezahlt sollte es auch gut sein .

Seit vielen Jahren unser liebstes Restaurant, inzwischen geht man aber nicht mehr so gern hin. Service ist zwar immer noch super, aber die Preis/Leistungspolitik ist einfach nur noch schwer zu vertreten. Schnitzel liegt jetzt bei 18,90€ , Chick & Chips bei 9,20€ und die Portionen werden trotzdem wirklich immer geiziger gehalten besonders abends. Das war vor ein paar Jahren anders! Für einen Klecks Ketchup wird 1,20€ verlangt, Getränke sind völlig überteuert und im Gegensatz zu den Mitbewerbern im Kreis Siegen hält man es im Del Sol leider immer noch nicht für nötig auf den Toiletten für Papiertücher zu sorgen. Der Bereich zum Hände waschen und trocken ist einfach eklig. Es macht leider so keinen Spaß mehr daher müssen wir ab jetzt auf Alternativen ausweichen wo man mehr fürs Geld bekommt.

"Wir sind hier nicht bei McDonald's. Nicht so ungeduldig. So lange warten Sie noch nicht", war die Reaktion auf eine Nachfrage des schon lange wartenden Nachbartischs. Souverän geht anders. Außerdem hat Del Sol mit McDonald's mehr Gemeinsamkeiten als mit einem klassischen Restaurant und das merkt man bei manchen Gerichten deutlich (bspw Burger). Die fleischlosen Gerichte aber weitestgehend sehr gut

Das Servicepersonal hat mehr mit sich selbst zu tun als mit den Gästen. Und mein Burger ist leider kalt. Ich ess den trotzdem, weil ich nicht nochmal so lange warten möchte.

Wer mit größeren Gesellschaften etwas sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Aber auch für Familien findet jeder was in der Karte.

Essen ok, Service ok, Ambiente ok. Preise leider doch eher abgefahren.

Das Restaurant war eine totale Katastrophe. Es sieht zwar schön dort aus, allerdings war es sehr kalt und man hatte den Eindruck die Heizung wäre überhaupt nicht an (wir haben Anfang Januar). Also mussten wir wohl oder übel mit einer Jacke essen. Zudem war die Pizza ungenießbar. Sie kam schon ganz kalt an und hat wie eine Tiefkühlpizza geschmeckt. Das Schnitzel Del Sol war nicht so schlecht, allerdings war die Portion auch sehr klein und für einen Mann definitiv zu wenig.
