Timberjacks in Siegen is truly a unique experience. As soon as you step inside, you feel like you're in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Everything is rustic and comfortably furnished, yet still of the highest quality. The food is, as always at Timberjacks, truly delicious, and the portions are generous. The service is super friendly and takes care of everything immediately; you simply feel at home. The motel right next door is particularly nice. The rooms are warm and comfortably furnished, perfect for a short getaway. The late checkout until 2:30 p.m. is the icing on the cake and makes your stay even more relaxing. All in all, a place you'll definitely want to return to.

The location is super cool and interesting. There's a lot to explore. The food was very good, although I doubt the steak weighed 200g. The ice cream and waffles were delicious. A bit on the pricey side, but the location is worth it.

We used to love going to this restaurant with our family because we always felt at home there. Unfortunately, our last visit was a huge disappointment. I'd like to highlight the friendly and polite service and the truly lovely ambiance – both are still unbeatable. The drinks were also decent. The food, however, was a disaster: The burger patty was completely cooked and therefore dry, the cheese wasn't even properly blended, the sauce was tasteless, and the bun was far too dry. Unfortunately, I even felt nauseous after the meal. Overall, the visit was very disappointing, especially compared to previous experiences. It's a real shame – I hope the food returns to its former quality soon.

Timberjacks in Siegen – a huge disappointment! The service was attentive, but the food was an absolute disaster. The cheese fries were completely unseasoned, oily, and tasted of absolutely nothing. The Brie burger was sheer horror: far too much cheese, poorly fried, with two tiny spinach leaves on top – and the walnuts that were supposed to come with it were completely missing. For €19, that's an absolute disgrace! And as if that weren't enough, we had to ask three times before we finally got our potatoes as a side dish. Simply embarrassing for a steakhouse and not recommended.

Great restaurant. Amazing atmosphere, great food, and pretty good value for money. We paid around €80 per person, including meat starters and dessert.

They've changed the sauce recipe. Instead of the usual (delicious) garlic cheese sauce, they now have mayo with paprika. However, they haven't changed the name of the sauce. It tastes completely different (yucky), of course. You'll look in vain for the provolone cheese on the Philly cheese tacos, and even after it's been back in the kitchen, there's practically no cheese on it. The meat has a high proportion of cartilage-like fat, which is very unpleasant to the mouth. They're cutting corners here now. Burgers are often still very pink on the inside, or ingredients are forgotten. Last summer (2024), everything was fine. Very disappointing, I won't go back.

Stay away from alcohol! Caipirinha, Cachasa?? Where, cane sugar?? €7.90! The Hurricane was a gentle breeze, filled to the brim with ice cubes, no alcohol. €9.90. That's cheeky! The meat quality is top-notch!

Well, it's not the cheapest, but it's worth it for the quality. The only problem is that, even with a reservation, you have to wait a long time for your table.

Too many plates, cutlery is only given on request, a bottle of wine is first brought closed and then with a broken glass head, if you point this out you are not brought a new bottle of wine or even asked for one.

Overrated. Steaks have been cooked improperly several times, and the prices are above average. The meat quality is excellent, though. Service is a total disaster. After the meal is served, you usually don't see them again. Dessert is only for USA fans; it has more sugar than in a jar of honey. The sauces are also just fast-food quality.

My family loves Timberjacks. We love our vacations, whether to Canada or the USA. Timberjacks is always like a little vacation for us. Great food, great atmosphere, superb service. A definite recommendation!

Affects the catering industry We were there with 9 people and we were all thrilled. It was Easter Sunday towards evening. The service was great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was simply great. Everything was clean and well maintained. The time from taking the order to being served was quick. The service staff regularly came to the table to ask if anything was missing or to take further orders. We'd love to come back!

Went to this great steakhouse for the first time today. We were very excited, starting with the very friendly welcome and amazed by the cozy, mega-furnished location. The food was excellent and the service did its job really well👍 we will definitely come back.

The location is of course visually unique, but I can only say that it was the last time we were there. On the one hand, the waitress was totally annoyed and rude and just gave us a quick breakfast. Questions about the side dishes were also answered very rudely. I can understand that you're stressed sometimes, but that was subpar. We only received cutlery when we asked and only after the food had been sitting for a few minutes. The bacon was forgotten on the burger, the fries were totally soggy and there was little, which is a disgrace at a price of just under €6, even McDonald's fries are better and the sauce didn't come even after repeated requests. The burger was really very tasty but everyone was very disappointed with everything around it, even the table next door was visibly upset about the service and food. The empty plates stood on our table for 15 minutes while the staff simply walked past them. Only when we asked for the bill was the table cleared and dessert didn't come at all because we weren't served and didn't feel like waiting any longer. We paid by card and then wanted a receipt and the waitress said she had to get it first. After another 10 minutes we just left without it. It wasn't like the store was overly busy, so the service just wasn't justified. Even though the burger and chicken were very good, we won't be coming back.

We (8 people) can only rate the restaurant. Everyone was absolutely thrilled, the service was top, the food was absolutely great, everything was warm and at the table almost at the same time. The staff came to us several times to fulfill every wish. The ambience is amazing! We will definitely come back and can absolutely recommend it!!!

Very cool, stylish western restaurant with motel in Siegen. Great decoration and everything is very chic. Food is very tasty and plentiful, cocktails are great and taste even better during the daily happy hour. Great service! The motel rooms are in smaller log cabins, super modern and comfortably furnished. The motel is right on a highway, so you can hear a bit of traffic on the terrace, and with the windows closed it's as quiet as a mouse.

I can't understand the negative recessions. We've eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. The food was always delicious, sometimes when the place was full it takes a little longer, but that's completely normal. Staff is attentive and friendly. It wasn't the last time we were there.

There were two of us eating and we ordered both food and drinks. However, after we had eaten and didn't want to order anything else, we were asked to leave quite abruptly and without further ado - on the grounds that the table was "urgently needed". However, the restaurant was far from full at this point. We were told that we were only allowed to stay if we had ordered something else. If you accept more reservations than you can serve hospitably, you should ask yourself whether you are sending the wrong message to paying guests. It's a shame - hospitality looks different for us. This type of treatment was not only rude, but simply disrespectful. We felt like we were being thrown out, even though we had been consuming normally. The impression that guests are only welcome here as long as they actively spend money has unfortunately been fully confirmed. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place for a relaxed, respectful visit to the restaurant.

Two hearts beat in my chest – my visit to TimberJack Siegen As soon as you entered TimberJack, it was clear that they weren't cutting corners, but rather building with vision and passion. The building is impressive, the interior is high quality and atmospheric. A real experience for lovers of meat and atmosphere – pure American steakhouse feeling. Our group of twelve made reservations online, but there was a slight confusion on site. The hotline was apparently not directly connected to the restaurant. Luckily the situation was resolved in a friendly manner and we got a nice place. The food? Top! The meat was particularly impressive in terms of quality and preparation. But as much as my gourmet heart beamed, my gastro heart longed for structure. The service was friendly but uncoordinated. Nobody seemed to have an overview, processes seemed chaotic - despite a fairly relaxed workload. My appeal to the management: The foundation is there - now you need trained staff who also reflect the quality of your company in the service. Training, clear processes and technology that everyone can use are crucial. Even a simple fully automatic coffee machine can sometimes make more of an impression than an unused portafilter. Conclusion: I would like to come back – because of the ambience and the food. But the service has to follow suit. Because it's not just the meat that has its price - good service is also worth its weight in gold. OK

If we hadn't pointed out that we hadn't ordered any drinks yet, the waitress would probably have left again. The food came early, the drinks didn't come at all. We had to point out that the drinks were missing. The food was okay, but absolutely average for a steakhouse and for the price. At this restaurant you definitely pay a lot for the ambience. No competition for a “real” steakhouse. Overall average...

The review concerns the catering industry. If you don't know Timberjacks and come in for the first time, you will be overwhelmed by the ambience and American style. Large selection of food, quality rather average. And then there is the service. Difficult... If cutlery is missing at the table, part of the group can eat and the other group's food gets cold because TWO service people can't add cutlery, the mood changes for the first time. If no one from the service shows up to pick up new drinks, the mood changes even further. But if you have to ask for the bill 3 times, are prepared NOT to pay a tip, and then the service lady is insulted and doesn't even say "bye", you know that you don't want to come here anymore. It's a shame because the store looks really good. But recommended??? No, unfortunately not. This was not how I imagined my birthday to be.

We had lunch there. Staff was nice, food took a little long but was okay. What bothered me personally is the loud music, which makes conversations at the table a bit difficult.

Were there on the weekend. When we arrived we were assigned a table and our order was taken in a friendly manner. The food came about 25 minutes later, perfect. The skewer I ordered was very tasty and the fries were also good, although they were sparsely peppered with meat and vegetables for around €22. I would have expected so much here that you would at least be full. Despite the portion of sweet potato fries I ordered with it, it wasn't filling. We then waited almost an hour to pay our bill, even though we had been informed. Conclusion: Cool shop, but it seems more than it is!

Unfortunately, service was a disaster. We waited over 1 1/2 hours for food. There were 3 side dishes missing that were brought as “dessert”; after the burger/steak was eaten. One portion of fries was cold, the new portion that was brought was unfortunately only lukewarm. Likewise, the €45 steak was only lukewarm. Everything was communicated in good time when someone came. After all this was mentioned again at the end and we were not prepared to pay the full price, we were told by the service manager (?) that we were out of luck, Everything would have been there at some point. Was there the last time!

I really can't understand all the negative reviews here. I've been to Timberjacks Siegen many times and have never been disappointed. When it was busier, the food took a little longer, but I think that's the case everywhere. The steaks are cooked perfectly as ordered every time and the desserts are phenomenal. Definitely a recommendation!

The review concerns the catering business. The architecture and furnishings are worth seeing. The impressive bar with the megascreen and the slightly separated areas offer a slightly different ambience depending on your mood. However, the service and ultimately the price/performance ratio remain a major problem. In the service area you will undoubtedly be served by friendly people, but that ultimately doesn't really help when orders either don't arrive at all, are incomplete or end up on the table after an eternity of waiting. This feels more like a massive organizational problem here. What comes to the table is rather average in terms of preparation. When it comes to meat dishes, it really hurts me when the kitchen doesn't manage to do justice to the actually good quality of the "material" when preparing them. If you want to reliably eat a good piece of meat, there are at least two better alternatives in the city center area. And then you come to the price. This would be fundamentally acceptable if the service and quality met the requirements. Unfortunately, that didn't work at all on the last few visits. But you could do it if you tried. Otherwise it would be a shame for what is actually a great location.

Amazing customer service, ordered a Barbacoa Burrito on Thursday afternoon late lunch..abit dissapointed to be honest. The Burrito had too much Rice that had no flavour or seasoning and bits of meat and avocado in it. The place had Good vibes though! The highlight was the Oreo cake recommended by V...eventhough I am not a big chocolate fun..Delicious!!

The food and the decor are absolutely fantastic. Authentic American food, great music, and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service leaves a lot to be desired; you're rarely asked if you'd like another drink, order food, or anything else. With more competent staff, this place would definitely be 5 stars.

Unfortunately a huge disappointment. Despite a reservation, we had to wait a good 45 minutes for a table, and our request to get a seat on the edge was not even acknowledged. After the waitress arrived, we immediately ordered starters and desserts. The starter came incomplete and a drink was also forgotten. We waited 1 1/4 hours for the main course and it wasn't until we approached the manager that something happened. We had to wait over 20 minutes again for a cocktail and dessert and also had to follow up. The food was great, no question, but so much anger had built up that we couldn't really enjoy it. It's a shame, because we had been looking forward to the evening for two months. Timberjacks always a recommendation, but unfortunately not the one in Siegen.

We were in Siegen today. The ambience is impressive and should be on everyone's agenda. The food is not worthy of the ambience, tasteless and completely overpriced. The kitchen staff needs to be replaced and is damaging the reputation of the restaurant. The steak was tasteless and the burgers at our campsite are gourmet pieces in comparison. Shame on you! The only thing that was convincing was the impressive appearance of the restaurant, which was built with huge tree trunks. Really worth seeing. It's even worth paying an entrance fee. A visit to the museum isn't free either. Oh yes, the parking lot also had two or three great vehicles for guests who have no problem with a €85 steak. But they're few and far between. We'll never go there again.

The food was only lukewarm when it came to the table. The burger was OK, but I've eaten better, cheaper ones. The included coleslaw found space in a 5cm bowl. Then it's better to leave it out before giving this forkful portion to the customer. Unfortunately, the 400g ribeye was not a taste experience, just plain, lukewarm meat. Charging just under €6 for a small portion of fries is almost outrageous. But again... the atmosphere is great and you should see it once.

We have been there a total of 4 to 5 times and have been disappointed every time. Every time you wait a long time to place your order. Then you wait at least as long for the food and drinks. Despite reservations, a place is not always available. The food tastes really good but is still too little or far too expensive. A steak that is ordered medium arrives through. Unfortunately there is really too much going on in this business. Today was simply the last time we were there. Almost 85 euros for 2 people is very expensive if you then have to wait 2.5 hours. And to top it all off, you'll be treated rudely if you don't tip.

The staff were also extremely friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic restaurant with a unique flair. Highly recommended!

We wanted to go there yesterday for some delicious steaks. The music was so loud we thought we were in a nightclub. That's really not an exaggeration; I've never experienced that in a restaurant in 58 years. We asked a waitress about it, and she just shrugged her shoulders! We left. We wanted to go out to eat, not have to sit across from each other at a table and shout at each other! Completely incomprehensible.

The food and drinks are simply top-notch. It's a bit pricey, but I think it's worth it. Unfortunately, I once received a piece of meat that was too raw, but after I let them know, it was quickly rectified. The atmosphere is top-notch!

Ambiente ist toll geschmacklich war es absolut in Ordnung, jedoch war das Steak an manchen Stellen nicht wie gewünscht. Aber passiert. Die Person die uns bediente war unfreundlich und fing direkt das dutzen an. Als Spitze vom Eisberg wurde ich gefragt ob ich eine Rechnung brauche nachdem ich dies verneinte, war der Preis plötzlich 13,70€ höher als wir mehrmals ausgerechnet haben. Nachdem wir dieses angesprochen haben hat sich auf der nachgeforderten Rechnung raus gestellt das ohne Einwilligung 13,70€ als Trinkgeld eingebucht wurden. Als ausrede wurde versucht uns zu unterstellen wir hätten ja auch ein teures Steak gegessen. Ein mal und nie wieder! An alle Kartenzahler nehmt die Rechnung mit!

I'm rating the location here and not the hotel/motel. My opinion after repeated visits is that the look doesn't match the food. Really worth a trip if you haven't seen a place like this before. In my opinion, there is a lot of room for improvement when it comes to food. Price-performance is not right for me. Not much above average in terms of taste and craftsmanship. Hence the rating 3/5. But make up your own mind. As I said. It's definitely worth seeing.

Were there today and wanted to eat. Everything empty. Outside everywhere. I recently had an operation and told the waiter this. We were shown a barrel to sit at. Unthinkable for me. Apparently there was no other option. No reserved sign anywhere. Simply incomprehensible. Then you're one building away. We got a decent place there. Too bad. They're at Timberjacks right now. Saturday, full house... Lots of service staff, but it still takes a long time to get the food. The food: the morzarella sticks are missing tomatoes ChickenBites are sold out... Chicken wings swim in fat. It has nothing to do with crispy. Ordered a waffle. With strawberry ice cream, cream, strawberry sauce and "sugar strawberries"! A bad joke for €8.30 And that's just the beginning. Has slowed down a lot here... No longer recommended. The prices absolutely do not correspond to the quality that the goods should have. You're better off in other burger shops or a steakhouse or a cafe.

The only small issue is a breakfast from 9am. When you travel, you just need a quick snack at 7:30 and hit the road. Aber das Frühstück ist echt lecker! Very friendly and young staff, but really really slow :-) I was lucky I was not in a rush. I havent seen the bull riding, maybe next time!

Great room with comfortable beds. Whether you like the open design of the bathroom and bedroom is up to you, but I thought it was great. The food in the restaurant wasn't cheap, but I don't know when I've had a burger that tasted so good.

After unfortunately many bad reviews, we decided to eat there. 1. Point for the waiting time. We got the cards and after 25 minutes someone came to take our order. After 20 minutes our food arrived, but then we wanted dessert and had to wait almost 40 minutes for someone to serve us. When we asked that the bill be brought to us immediately because we didn't feel like waiting, the bill came after dessert another 20 minutes later!! The food was great, the burger was really very good, the atmosphere was great and the staff was friendly. Having 3 waiters for a large restaurant is really ridiculous.

Well, I don't know if you can afford that in this day and age, let alone if the owner knows what's going on on the phone. Either the waiters always say on the phone that nothing is free so that you don't have to work too much, or the owner doesn't know how the staff discourages customers from even visiting the restaurant over the phone There is supposedly no room for 2 people, and today, February 21st, 25th. Again the same answer. I called today around 5 p.m. for 2 people this evening and the lady on the phone sh.... I don't like that kind of treatment at all. Then I'd rather go to Siegen First kitchen again or Sausalitos.

Let's start: +=positive -=negative +very nice atmosphere +large selection and variety +quiet atmosphere Unfortunately that was it for us. -We booked a table for 12 3 months in advance for 8:30 p.m., but the restaurant was so full that we had to wait until around 9:10 p.m. for a table -The table was far too small for us and we sat close together -There was nothing to dry your hands in the toilet -order arrived delayed or upon request To eat: -ordered a rump steak well done (see photo) it came medium rare, for a steakhouse... -prepared well, I would have expected more for the price, the bread was hard -French fries (extra charge) were soft and felt unsalted -> In general, 50% of the food in the group was not that good ->In general, a lot of oil was used with the dishes, which is okay in principle, but when potatoes are almost floating in oil, it's not so nice -> It was basically poorly organized, and as a customer you could clearly see that the workforce was overloaded -> I think the restaurant has greater potential than it showed us that evening. Too bad

Nice ambience that wants to be paid for! Service was unfortunately poor, as the food took about 45 minutes to arrive and no drinks were added. We had two 400gr. Steaks and a 300g steak, although the 300g steak seemed far too small in proportion and did not correspond to the desired degree of doneness. Unfortunately it's completely overrated for the prices, but the construction has to be paid for.

Four of us ate at the restaurant. It's best to plan a reservation a few weeks in advance. You walk in and immediately feel like you're in the USA. Bigger is better. Everything feels very authentic. The service is very friendly, and despite the full house, we were able to order quickly and received our food shortly after. I particularly recommend the pulled chicken with fried green beans and mushrooms as a side dish. The quality of the food is solid. It's delicious :) Otherwise, I can say that the restrooms are well-maintained and clean. We made another reservation right away. The menu has a lot to offer, and everything sounds really delicious.

Timberjacks advertises its American ambiance and high-quality food. Compared to that, it's a bitter disappointment. From the outside, it initially looks like an American log cabin. However, upon entering the restaurant, there's little of this coziness. Initially, you're unexpectedly hit by a pungent, unpleasant odor, which quickly turns out to be raw meat. This butcher smell is perceptible and unpleasant throughout the restaurant. However, after being politely shown to your table, you notice the extremely loud music. When asked, they said they couldn't turn it down. The result: the loud music causes guests to try to speak up, and the volume builds up to a level that I find unbearable. Let's get to the food: We ordered a Smashburger with fries and onion rings with a supposed signature dip. The Smashburger shouldn't be called a Smashburger, as it doesn't even begin to show the characteristic caramelization on the underside of the burger patty. The portion of fries was not only undercooked, but also old and much too small for the hefty price of almost €6 (NOT OK). The onion rings turned out to be a half-raw whole onion, labeled as an onion rose. However, this was corrected after my complaint, and I also received a new portion of fries. Regarding the "signature dips," it can be said that they don't know what that actually means. No restaurant can have 20 signature dips. Furthermore, I find the trick with the very shallow bowls, both for the dip (about 1 tbsp) and the fries, very unpleasant. After all, they want €2.95 for the bowl of dip, which, as I said, is about 1 tbsp. Finally, regarding the decor: inconsistent. For example, the baroque chairs don't match the rustic wooden cabin charm at all. In conclusion, I would like to say: 2 stars, a well-intentioned award, because the service staff really tried hard. The concept of an American restaurant is not well implemented. The price-performance ratio is not justified. Anyone like me who enjoys traveling to the USA won't be happy here. It's a real shame!

Today we went to Timberjacks again after about three years because we were so impressed with the food back then. Two people spent €100 each for two drinks and a meal, not including starter and dessert. I haven't been this disappointed in a long time. How can you let up like that?! The wait times are very long. About 20 minutes for a drink and almost an hour for the meal. The bill finally arrived, even after the third request. There were still a few tables free, as we were there at 5 p.m. on a Friday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The overpriced steak was also dead twice. The meat was way overcooked and too dry. The taste was just okay, if anything. The ambiance is great, of course, but that's not the only thing I wanted to spend my money on. The service is friendly, but unfortunately, that doesn't make it taste any better. In the future, we'll have to find another place to enjoy a delicious piece of meat. Conclusion: Too expensive, with poor meat quality and poor craftsmanship in the kitchen. What a shame!

The ambience alone… wow! Plus the food - A1. Only recommended!

We have been visiting Timberjacks once a year for 3 years. We were a bit skeptical because of the many new bad reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had burgers and steak, everything tasted excellent, we didn't have to wait long and were served competently and friendly by "Frederik". The children were sad because the bull riding didn't take place, but at the company we fully understood that they don't always have an employee available for this.

Timberjacks is on the edge of Siegen. The ambience is really nice, you feel like you've been transported to Western America or Canada. However, on a Sunday lunchtime the staff was completely overwhelmed or understaffed. We literally had to beg for a second iced tea. Nobody wanted to bring us dessert. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste as good as we had imagined. The pulled chicken was very dry and burnt in places.

Delicious, orders are delivered to your table very quickly. Advance reservations are recommended.

I revoke my previous review. As always, the food is and was very, very tasty. Unfortunately we had to wait a whole hour and when the food came, they forgot our cutlery. We had to grab it ourselves from another table. Maybe we'll come back again and if it's different, we'll see. Today we weren't quite as happy about the visit.

Eternal waiting times until you get the card or even the food. There were no refills of drinks either, we were simply ignored by the staff. food ok, but the price-performance ratio doesn't fit.

Great restaurant, great atmosphere. The food was very good and the drinks menu was amazing. We'll definitely be back.
