Just great. Nothing to complain about.

Great restaurant that takes you straight to America. We enjoyed the food very much, but I think the prices are very high, especially for drinks. (Over €5 for a 0.3 beer 🤔) The breakfast was very good and the selection was large, but the prices were also very high here at €45 for 2 people... The staff was very friendly and tried hard. However, the cocktails were too sweet for us, as was the dessert. The rooms are beautiful and furnished with great attention to detail. A bottle of water in the room would be nice. Personally, the mattress was too soft for me.

We were guests with 7 people on Saturday evening. Building and ambience really great. Reception was exemplary (they not only checked for the vaccination certificate but also compared it with the person). After we all ordered together from the very good service employee, the drama began. Of the seven meals, 4 came partially and cool to lukewarm (regardless of whether it was a steak or a skewer), and some of the side dishes only came several minutes later. The last 3 meals came 15 minutes later… again cool to lukewarm. An insert didn't arrive despite repeated requests (we were supposed to pay, but after a lengthy discussion between the service employee and her supervisor, it was deleted). One of the last 3 dishes had a steak with a thick tendon, which shouldn't happen at all given the prices and standards. The herb butter consisted more of liquid fat than butter. The banana ice cream bomb for dessert At least half of it consisted of cream... really bomb... the drinks definitely tasted good, the bull riding was good - that was it. There were a lot of employees jumping around in the kitchen, but quantity is not quality. Of course, I wrote the whole thing down on the review sheet on site (with the sender's name). The store won't see me/us again any time soon.

On the way to Vienna, at ease. Siegen is almost four hours from Rotterdam. As soon as you drive into the parking lot you will feel like you are in the USA. A real whopper of a log cabin is the decor of this steakhouse. Bizarre and coolly decorated. Fast and friendly reception. Quick food, plenty of choice and we choose a steak. Nice served on a skewer. Then to our hotel room, a mini log cabin compared to the main building. Beautiful and grandly decorated. Stylish with jeans and a bathroom to get lost in. We'll come back.

Went there today with our son and grandma. What we didn't know before, only saw it on the display in front of the door, that on Sundays there is bull riding for children aged 6 and over. After asking, the waitress said that she would first have to see who could serve it. When we paid 1 hour later, we asked again if our son could do this. We were then told that we could go to the bull riding, which was already filled with air, and someone would come. After 15 minutes we left with a disappointed 6-year-old because no one was interested in the issue that was being touted. We told the same employee twice and nothing happened! Maybe just remove this offer if there are no authorized staff! Absolutely annoying

The food wasn't really warm and the taste wasn't convincing either. Prices overpriced and there is a very unpleasant smell in the restaurant. We won't be coming back again.

A very nice location. Unfortunately the organization is wrong. You quickly notice that there is a severe understaffing of staff here. We made a reservation for Mother's Day and unfortunately had to wait a whole 2 hours for pancakes & toast. When we asked three times if and when the food would come, the service staff couldn't provide any information. The service, which of course cannot be blamed for this situation, apologized several times. When the food came, we were unfortunately disappointed with that too. It's a real shame because the location is awesome!

The order took a little longer even though there was absolutely no business. The burger wasn't particularly tasty and the prices are very reasonable.

Great atmosphere and damn good food. Always worth a visit.

We spent a lovely evening here with friends on Saturday. Basically it's a great concept, a great location and all in all harmonious. There is a large selection of drinks and food on offer with something for everyone. The food was of high quality and tasted great, but unfortunately all the dishes and side dishes were only lukewarm. It would have been nice, especially with the steaks, if they had been served hot or the pans had been preheated. All in all, great and we would like to come back.

Timberjacks is always worth a visit. Even the breakfast there is great. No matter where and when you go to a Timberjacks, it's always great 👍😋

This review refers exclusively to the restaurant, I cannot rate the hotel. In short: We have now been to Timberjacke for the second time, about 6 months apart. On our first visit we had to wait almost an hour and a half for our breakfast. There weren't too many guests on site at this point. Now I'm writing this review while I've been waiting for breakfast for a good hour and a half... The coffee would also only be brought after a good 50 minutes. The food was okay in the end, but unfortunately the waiting times are not good at all. And since this wasn't the first time, I won't give any other review. If I want breakfast, it should not be brought until lunchtime.

Unfortunately, the visit here on Mother's Day, May 12, 2024, turned into pure annoyance. Reservation was for 12:00 for 10 people. We were there at 11:50 a.m. and were invited to the table. We were told lunch would be delayed by about 15 minutes. So the kitchen is ready to go from 12:15 p.m. No problem, we still have to choose anyway. Now it's getting annoying. Our request for a high chair was not honored. We ordered the drinks and after 40 minutes the drinks were brought, which is a disgrace. Now you should have to wait another few minutes to order the food as the kitchen is just about ready. They extended breakfast and now have to reschedule. Since we have now seen how many people have come for lunch in the 45 minutes, you can now imagine how long it would have taken to receive your food. We learned from the neighboring table that they had waited 2 hours for their breakfast and that half of it was wrong. Unfortunately, the cozy Mother's Day meal didn't work out and now we had to think about where and what to eat. That's not possible at all and it's a huge disgrace to keep customers waiting for so long. It is not information, given in between, or an apology. We got the drinks for free afterwards because we left.

Very impressive wooden construction in American style

Spontaneously at lunchtime on Sunday lunchtime, we were greeted nicely and seated at a high hissing spot near the bull. So far it was OKAY. Unfortunately, the air machine for the fall cushion became very annoying after a while, just too loud, that could be improved. Food was quite good for a burger, but not exactly cheap. There are plenty of side dishes, everything is on top, which means that quite a lot of euros come together. Mayo, ketchup and spices are on the table.

Exceptionally beautifully decorated and meat-heavy but very tasty dishes

The three of us were served, unfortunately completely below expectations. The meat was absolutely not precious to me. After it was mentioned, they brought us two more pieces, which unfortunately I wasn't convinced about either... all in all, a great location, but I was honestly disappointed by the food.

We usually ate there once or twice a month. Now the prices have been increased massively. You now easily pay €30 per person just for a burger with a side dish and a drink. We paid for this beforehand with the pre- or dessert. In addition, you only get half the fries as before and the burger bread is also worse. Sorry guys, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right for us. The ambience and the staff are good, but that doesn't justify this decline in quality and the price increases. If you charge premium prices, you should also serve premium food! A pity. We really always enjoyed being there.

Very nice atmosphere. My fillet steak was seasoned well and delicious. The burgers also taste very good, but the salad wasn't my cup of tea. Price/performance is reasonable. Background noise is pleasant. Clean toilet facilities, nice and friendly service. Sufficient parking spaces directly at the building.

When you come into the store it smells really unpleasant at first. The food is not particularly good for the prices that are quoted there. But okay. There is a plus point for the fact that painting supplies are given out here for small children. Not worth a second visit for me.

A very large restaurant with excellent food. You should definitely reserve a table, you can sit comfortably everywhere. I also liked the very clean toilets. When the weather is good, there is seating outside and there is even a hotel next door. Parking spaces may be a bit scarce when there is a lot of activity. I can't say anything about the hotel, we were only there for one day.

I think the store is great - even if it is a bit more expensive.

The atmosphere of the restaurant more than appealed to us and we were not disappointed. We had a steak with potato wedges as well as 2 wraps as a starter and my girlfriend had a burger. The food was very tasty. The wait was acceptable for a Sunday without a reservation. The highlight is simply the ambience and the milkshakes. We give 4 out of 5 stars because the service could have been a little faster and friendlier. We would love to come back and look forward to our next visit to Siegen.

Beautiful location, exterior and interior are nothing short of stunning and service is great. But the food is just average. The card is enormous, which I don’t personally consider a good thing. I had the philly cheese burrito hoping it would taste something similar to a philly cheesesteak but it was nothing special, very dry and little taste. The onions baked with blue cheese were very good though.

Today at noon: Very nice reception. Great ambience, friendly service. There's actually a bit of a smell, but I think it's the wood or the leather. Portions really enough. Meat was quite good, although it would have been nice if it had been really hot. It has to be perfect for the price. Lots of choice of vegetables and salad. We were very satisfied and didn't wait very long. In between, they also asked us questions. So everything is good.

I ordered the T-bone steak which was very tasty and I was thrilled

We sat and ate nicely on the occasion of an 18th birthday. The four of us women got a free bottle of Prosecco rosé in glasses with fruit because it was Thursday. The birthday child received a piece of cheesecake with a sparkler. The young waiter was very friendly and we felt comfortable.

We were at Timberjacks Siegen for the first time and were thrilled. Service, food, drinks, everything was great, it was a very nice evening and we'll be back!

This review is for the motel. Interesting design, but poor execution. Not recommended for a business stay. No breakfast before 9 am, dark room, bathroom lighting very poor, very soft matress, no closet, no iron availale. There appears to be no hotel staff, only the personell in the restaurant, which closes from 10 pm to 9 am, and nobody answers the phone or email.

Not bad per se, but some of the food wasn't really good. My burger smelled a bit fishy and the same thing happened to my friends' dishes. You immediately lost your appetite. This could possibly be an isolated incident and I won't discourage anyone from eating there, but I personally won't be coming back.

You really need a lot of patience here when you have to wait for the food. We had to wait about an hour for our food until something came. For the bedside table we waited at least half an hour, only for a waitress to come to us 10 minutes later and say our bedside table would be coming shortly but they had no more cream for us. Not even 15 minutes later and another waiter informed us that the waffles were sold out. There was no compensation, nothing we would get instead. Unbelievable, you immediately have such expectations from a restaurant like this. So if you feel like eating here, think twice.

Incredibly bad service! Waited over an hour for the main courses at around 4 p.m. when the shop was hardly busy. The food was okay but not good. We waited about half an hour for our dessert, then the waitress came and pointed out that it came without cream but that the waffles were coming soon. After 10 minutes someone came and said dessert was out?! How can that be? An outrageous thing!!! Sat there for 40 minutes for nothing. There was a sorry but no compensation or offer of a replacement. Incredible!!!

I've been there several times, but the waiting times are absolutely unacceptable. Even if the restaurant was only 30% full, waiting times of over an hour for a burger were incomprehensible without a side dish. The meat dish not recommended. Only after complaining about leaving the restaurant without eating did the food arrive after 15 minutes. The overpriced drinks consist almost entirely of ice cubes. Sorry, but for the money you can eat better quality food in Siegen. Service is inadequate.

Very nice ambience and atmosphere. Different, relaxed, delicious food and nice staff. With attention to detail. But you definitely have to reserve a table in good time. I can't say much about the hotel as we were only there to eat. Large on-site parking lot. It was a very nice experience and I can only recommend it.

It has now become one of my favorite local restaurants. I can't say what I don't recommend, I'm really looking forward to the day when I don't like something here 😄 Not to mention the ambience, everything is incredibly large and yet wonderfully comfortable. Definitely worth seeing! And Licher is of course a big plus.

The food was great if you like a lot of meat. The prices are a bit high when a burger costs 20 euros and doesn't even come with a side dish. Points are deducted for the large location and not enough staff, which of course the staff can't do anything about.

MEGA!!! The little trip to Canada - great ambience in the huge wooden house. The menu is amazing - I could feed myself on it for days. Super delicious and served in an absolutely friendly manner. And for what is on offer here, the prices are also reasonable. GOODBYE - hopefully soon!

A steak & burger house in a class of its own! A very large selection of dishes also suitable for vegans. The steaks are grilled to perfection and the burger selection is a dream. A very courteous, extremely friendly service. The motel log cabins were very clean and spacious. The mattresses could be a little harder. But we were thrilled with the weekend there, would love to do it again...👍😉👍

Everything was great, except the last two times I was there there was always a very unpleasant smell in the store. I spoke to service about it both times, the first time the window was opened, the second time they just said they would pass it on. Hope something is done about the smell; It smells like someone has vomited.

New review from 03/2024: I now find Timberjacks to be too “hyped” for what it offers. Only the ambience is unbeatable, the wood used is an eye-catcher. Unfortunately, Timberjacks is no longer anything special. After every visit, I also have to admit to myself that it wasn't worth it and that you can eat well and, above all, cheaper elsewhere! The service is always trying somehow, but sometimes amateurish. We were last there with 2 adults and 2 children because we wanted to know again. The children's burgers were almost as big as our own, but cost almost half as much. You have to keep in mind that there were no side dishes, apart from a mini bowl of coleslaw. The price of the children's cheeseburger was €7.90. So for 4 burgers (2x children), 4x fries and 4 normal drinks we were already over €90! Which family can afford this in the future or even now? The lack of reference to regional alcoholic beverages is also really bad. The beer available includes “Bitburger”. Who would voluntarily drink that in Siegerland when there are so many regional choices? What's also really annoying is the online table reservation, which is also possible via WhatsApp. I wanted to make a reservation for 5:30 p.m. but apparently everything was full. I was then suggested a 4:00 p.m. appointment, or an appointment at 5:30 p.m. on a completely different day. So we just drove by in person at that time and lo and behold, Timberjacks wasn't even half full. Who is supposed to understand that? Apparently it's due to the lack of staff, as a server can only serve a certain number of tables. Nevertheless, you can still get a table on site. Very annoying. So I say, I get “annoyed” every time I’ve been there. You can eat well elsewhere for less money and you don't have to take out a loan. It's welcome to get cheaper, better and more local...then gladly more often, but like that... Original review from 09/2021: New restaurant (franchise), which has been open since September 2021. Nice atmosphere, but a bit too dark for me. In contrast, there is a huge LED screen on which, for example, internal advertising or short videos are shown. Personally, I find this permanent virtualization to be “too much” and would be happy if it were not active for once. The light appears very bright and is of course reflected in the windows, so that the eyes constantly see this screen. Apparently, we were told, this is not intended for sporting events either. So I question the purpose of this “screen”. Both the menu and the drinks menu are m.m.n. way too big and filled from the first spot to the last. The food is delicious, the prices are ok to a little too high. A burger with fries costs around €15. What I miss are local drinks, such as Krombacher. Who would want to voluntarily drink Bitburger when you could support local companies? The service team is not yet fully coordinated. It also quickly becomes clear which employee is in charge and instructing others. This often happens in front of customers and doesn't have to be the case. All in all good, with more potential for improvement once everything is 100% up and running. For example, the 4 habitable huts are not yet finished.

As soon as you arrive you have the feeling that you have arrived in the USA. The atmosphere is really great and the restaurant looks so great. The food was really tasty, except for our tomahawk steak, which we unfortunately had to return and have it fried a little more because it was still far too raw - unfortunately it was very overcooked and you couldn't eat a few hundred grams, which is a shame , for the 1200g steak, because it feels like the bones alone make up 500g which is missing. Otherwise everything went well and luckily we were able to test bull riding in the evening (unfortunately only after several requests) :) The rooms are really great and very spacious - the bathroom alone felt like it had a small dance floor. We will definitely come back and are looking forward to it :)))

Timberjack's victories - more appearance than reality, that's the program here! The reserved table we were seated at on a Wednesday evening was sticky - a dream 👌 The selection of drinks is reasonable and reasonably priced without being cheap. If you only focus on burgers, ice cream and cocktails after 9 p.m., you probably won't be disappointed. Everything else: either too dry or too cold, sometimes too dry and too cold, but this can also be because it is not necessarily guaranteed that you will have cutlery when the food is served - this is definitely possible here more than one cigarette length passes between the two points in time. In short: I personally feel sorry for the investor of this really good idea with this staff and the performance - but somehow the fish always stinks from the head 🤷

Best steak I have eaten in Germany. Been there about 30 times. If there is a lot going on, it can happen that the food is unfortunately served cold, but just make a quick complaint and it will be remedied immediately. All in all, the food is great, I've gone through the entire menu once now. As a steak, the tomahawk is a 10 out of 10. If you don't want to spend that much money, a churrasco skewer or a burger is just the thing. The Mother Earth Burger as triple beef, nothing more is possible. We always enjoy going there, at least once a month.

So there were little things like that I got a 12 piece of chicken wings instead of a 6 piece, but all in all it was great. I can highly recommend the avocado burger and the sweet potato fries👍🏻

This was not a restaurant, this was an experience. The moment you enter you are hooked. You feel happiness. The attention to details is extraordinary. The food and the service heavenly. From the menu I deducted it is american/mexican Food, based on meat :). A place not to miss when in the area

Some time ago I had breakfast at Timberjacks in Siegen with a few friends. We were really looking forward to an American breakfast, unfortunately we were very disappointed. Unfortunately, it started with the drink order, when the question about milk alternatives came up, this was simply answered in the negative, which shouldn't be such a big deal these days. After ordering the food, the food finally arrived after a long wait. One avocado still had the label attached, but it had melted slightly from being fried in the pan. An incorrect pancake order also came to the table, but it was replaced after a short time. Unfortunately, the dough for the pancakes was still partially raw. After the staff had been made aware of this, we realized that we apparently didn't listen to it. So I can't recommend Timberjacks at all, at least as a breakfast location.

Great ambience, friendly, attentive service. Large selection of typical American dishes. Lots for vegetarians too. Was thrilled and will come back. I thought the shop was nice where you could buy a lot from knives 🔪 to shirts and baseball caps! Good concept!

I have never paid so much money for an inedible steak in my life. It was just tough and inedible - it was also returned. The service was also so slow that we were glad to have received a drink. We will definitely not be able to recommend this restaurant.

We ate steak and burrito here - both were very good. The meat was very tender and served to the desired degree of doneness. You can choose from many side dishes - we had sweet potato fries and mozzarella sticks. Both were good. For dessert there was an ice cream sundae, which was very powerful but also very tasty! The service was on point and very friendly. In addition, the restaurant itself and the furnishings have a special, rustic flair. Here you have the feeling of visiting a really special restaurant. The price here is of course very high - but normal for a steakhouse.

To put it briefly: a disappointment. I went there to eat with my wife because friends had recommended the shop to me. Had a steak, medium-rare. The core was raw and cold (instead of the expected 55°) and therefore tough. My wife's steak was supposed to be medium rare and was completely rare except for a thin layer. The side dishes were very spicy. My broccoli with mushrooms only tasted like rosemary. That was too much. Unacceptable for the price.

A new attempt today - I was even able to reserve a table online straight away - unfortunately we were disappointed again: like the last time, the drink order took a long time. Then my shandy came, a wave of flake-like sentences as I poured it in - unfortunately the shandy had already expired in 09.2023. No excuse - but a new cyclist 😉. Then came our burgers, an absolute disappointment for €20.90 each! Unfortunately, the patty was fried to death, and unfortunately there was hardly any sign of the mushrooms and blue cheese... plus a handful of tasteless zucchini fries for €6.90 and fries. Unfortunately we couldn't order any more drinks, nobody came. When I paid, my point about the unfortunately unsuccessful meal in my opinion was somehow ignored. Well, the 'rookie' was very nice, got his tip from me and another tip to the kitchen. Maybe you shouldn't expect too much here, but I'd rather spend my money elsewhere in the future. That was our last visit here.

This was my second time at Timberjacks in Siegen and I can only highly recommend it. A close friend first brought it to my attention and I was curious about what the food was like there. So you really can't complain about the location. It's not far from Siegen train station (about a kilometer and a half), so even in good weather you could walk there or, like yours truly, roll there in an electric wheelchair. The decor makes you feel like you are really in the USA and you quickly get that steakhouse feeling. The restaurant is made of wood, the interior is incredibly cozy and very modern. In particular, the huge screen above the bar. This occasionally distracts from conversations with friends at the table, but you just have to control yourself. :) It is very cozy in winter, I haven't been there to eat in summer so I can't report whether it would be too hot there. All in all, the look is absolutely amazing. There is also a plus point for the spacious and always very clean and handicapped accessible toilet. The employees are always very friendly and willing to help at any time if you have any problems or if you need help. Despite the well-stocked restaurant, I don't take this for granted. Now about the food: I chose a steak twice because it was incredibly tasty and the quality of the meat was very high. The cooking levels are always on point, just as you order it. When it comes to some supplements, I have to agree with some previous reviewers that they are really small for the price, which I unfortunately think is a shame. The drinks such as the homemade iced teas and other things were very tasty. The service when you come to the table is always very attentive and friendly. Except for two or three little things that could be done differently here. I'm super happy and absolutely satisfied. Thank you very much for allowing me to be a guest for the second time. The last time we were with you was 8 people. Everyone was super happy.

Been there for the last time...... That you didn't have to bring your plates into the kitchen yourself... And if you have expressed your opinion, you will be left standing there even more unfriendly than when you were served, even if at least everything you ordered had come.... Definitely the last time there...

Delicious food, unfortunately very expensive and staff tried hard: drinks extremely slow, food quite fast.

Unfortunately the food was cold. (after we waited for 1 hour, the shop wasn't very busy) We also complained and got a hot drink for free...not really good in taste either and a bit expensive. I would advise reducing the menu and paying more attention to taste. Had the "Chicken bbq churassco" there were 2 wings on it, 3 pieces of chicken, the rest of the peppers, zucchini and onions, a piece of corn and 1 slice of bread for 22€, side dish was not included. The skewer was also forgotten to flambé, whether that would have been crucial for the warmth of the food is debatable. But service was great, the waiter apologized several times even though he couldn't help it and tried very hard. Drinks were delicious, can recommend the Mexican Mango Limo.

I've eaten there several times for work or pleasure. The furnishings look rustic but very cozy. The background music is always appropriate and at the right volume for conversation. The food tastes great and the waiting time is absolutely reasonable.

I was there with my work colleagues and Timberjacks offers an American charm. The food was very, very good. The cocktails were served in really nice glasses. There is a huge selection of food and drinks. The prices are very good. The service is top. I would like to come again.

The food was quite okay. I liked it, the portions of the side dishes or whatever exactly that was supposed to be were too small for the price. Because it's not cheap. The service is very friendly, unfortunately there are too few staff and apparently there is no real training on how to work the tables. But there are clearly too few in service for the large hall when there is a lot going on there.

The location and the ambience are very nice and the theme of America is taken up really well and implemented very well. We sat at a Lamgem real wood table with 13 people, including 3 small children. Everyone had enough space. Even though the benches couldn't be moved and the 5 year olds didn't sit close enough to the table. The entire facility is still harmonious.

First of all, the location: great! Really well done with flair! Unfortunately that was it for the positive. The food is average to below average and sometimes has nothing to do with America. But the biggest problem is the service: Please hire specialist staff instead of haphazard, inexperienced, sometimes unworldly students. This way you wouldn't have to explain what goes into a drink or cocktail, 2 out of 4 orders wouldn't be wrong, you wouldn't have to wait forever for an opportunity to reorder, the service would generally be more attentive, problems would sometimes be solved, etc. etc. Great idea and concept, terribly poor implementation.

Very tasty food and super nice service

We were there for dinner several times. Among other things, a flank steak and a ranch steak were ordered. Both medium rare. The ranch steak came to the table completely raw and had briefly seen the outside of the pan. The flank steak was done. After we asked for this to be corrected, the ranch steak was refried. We even showed a photo of what it should be like for the flank steak. The flank steak was then brought new and arrived after everyone else had already finished eating. It was completely raw inside, bleu or English fried with good will. I was told this was medium rare. I asked for a correction again and explained that I had often eaten this dish medium rare there... but it was never completely raw and cold inside. This repeated itself. In total it was brought to the table three times and in the end it was no longer edible. The service was attentive and friendly, but the quality of the cuisine simply seems to have deteriorated. We will never come back.

Great presentation, all service was quick and friendly, food was delivered quickly and in great quality. Wasn't the last visit.

Great atmosphere... But extremely expensive

Unfortunately the food wasn't for us at all, the prices are very, very expensive and the taste of the food wasn't really good either. Charging €18 for 3 mini tacos is really a lot. You have to like the atmosphere, dead animals everywhere. The desserts were all extremely sweet and tasted very artificial. We were a larger group and will definitely not come back.

I have rarely had to experience such poor service. The wrong (more expensive) drinks are delivered (and charged), you have to ask for cutlery and napkins and we waited 45 minutes for the bill.

The food was very tasty. Service very friendly. The location is uniquely good. Overnight stays possible. Advance reservations for dining are recommended. Very child friendly, there are high chairs for babies.

Rustic atmosphere, lots of meat, good live music and fast service

We were there for 4 1/2 hours not because the ambience was so nice, but because the service was so bad. We waited 1 1/2 hours for the main course after ordering. Side dishes and desserts were sometimes forgotten despite repeated requests. We've been there several times but the quality of the food has deteriorated so much that the price/performance ratio is no longer right. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

A real American grill with Tex Mex food, the steaks are awesome and tender, with a great atmosphere and a beautiful wood log cabin.
