Timberjacks Siegen in Siegen

Ich habe sowohl gutes sowie schlechtes über dieses Restaurant gehört, also wollte ich mir gestern (1. Weihnachtstag) selbst ein Bild machen. Es ging schon damit los, dass der Herr, der die Gäste in Empfang nahm, diese auch selbst an die Tische brachte, das raubte unheimlich Zeit und die Schlange wurde immer länger. Hier ist es besser sich eine zweite Person hinzuziehen. Dann müssten wir ewih auf unseren Tisch warten. Wir haben genau beobachtet, wie lange es gedauert hat, bis dieser mal abgeräumt wurde. Geschlagene 20 Minuten. Niemand hatte sich darum gekümmert, Kellner sind bestimmt 15x daran vorbei gelaufen. Dann waren wir endlich am Tisch, haben Getränke bestellt. Mein Mezzo Mix hat eklig geschmeckt. Wie lange das wohl schon gelagert war? Kaum Kohlensäure drin. Dann haben wir das Essen bestellt. Die Auswahl war groß und gut. Lange musste man nicht auf das Essen warten. Meine Mutter und ich hatten ein Rinderfilet. Leider haben wir es rare statt medium bekommen, habe einen leichten würgereiz bekommen. Zurück gegeben mit der Bitte es medium zu braten. Zweiter Versuch. Man sah dass es nochmal gebraten wurde (es war rundum schwarz) innen leider immernoch rare. Also haben wir es nochmal zurück gegeben. Beim dritten Mal ging es dann einigermaßen. Irgendwann war ich dann mal satt, nachdem meine Familie schon längst mit dem Essen fertig war. Am Ende über 250 € für 4 Gäste bezahlt. Für diese Erfahrung viel zu teuer. Ich hatte gehofft, dass man uns etwas entgegenkommt. Der Service war grottenschlecht. Ich habe das mal eine Weile beobachtet. Schlecht organisiert, überfordert, teilweise unfreundlich. Alles in Allem möchte ich auf einen weiteren Besuch verzichten. Man müsste meinen, dass die dort zu 100 % wissen wie man ein Steak zubereitet - leider nicht...Wirklich schade.

We reserved a table for six at 8:30pm, we were there on time and they made us wait for more than 40 MINUTES, i wish it would’ve end there, Justin was the person who took our orders he was nice and helpful and explained the situation (of the delay) but it’s the first time for me I enter a restaurant and wait for my food for more than 1 hour and 20 minutes. And at the end the food was good but honestly it is not that much like i would rate it 6.5/10. I don’t think I’ll return to this place.

On the way to Vienna, at ease. Siegen is almost four hours from Rotterdam. As soon as you drive into the parking lot you will feel like you are in the USA. A real whopper of a log cabin is the decor of this steakhouse. Bizarre and coolly decorated. Fast and friendly reception. Quick food, plenty of choice and we choose a steak. Nice served on a skewer. Then to our hotel room, a mini log cabin compared to the main building. Beautiful and grandly decorated. Stylish with jeans and a bathroom to get lost in. We'll come back.

My friend is just coming home: his colleagues were together eat. And I can't help but share that. First, half an hour of waiting for a drink. Then the steak should be medium rare. “You have to expect this in the run-up to Christmas.” He brought the leftovers to the children (dogs). As a trained chef, I can say: that's definitely not legal!

We have been to this location several times but today was the absolute peak. The location was cold, the food was cold and incomplete. The service did not inquire about satisfaction at all, neither during nor after eating. I would have liked to vent my disappointment, but if the service doesn't ask if everything was okay, they actually know. All I'm saying is: Started strong, faded stronger.

We are two families, 9 people in total. We love Timberjacks. Have been there 6 times this year. Always with an overnight stay. The food is MEGA. But: Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated. Please plan for long waiting times when ordering food and drinks. The rooms are beautiful but: The rooms are all dirty in the base area. Room 1 has been missing its blinds for six months. Room 5 is missing the shower head. The heating in room 14 is broken. The showers in rooms 5, 9 and 14 are blocked. The condition of the rooms is a shame because the rooms would actually be very nice if everything worked. And for the price of €150 per double room, you can actually expect a top room.

Were there again today and everything was actually great again. But for a restaurant/steakhouse of this class and size, I can't believe that on Sunday lunchtime, we had reserved the table for 11:30, there are no more fillet steaks or flank steaks. This can happen on Sunday evenings, but not at lunchtime when business starts. We were still full, but still disappointed.

Unfortunately we are very disappointed with today's visit. Since the table was definitely pre-ordered for 1-2 weeks. Unfortunately we had to realize that it was a total failure. The food arrived at the table only lukewarm/cold. The burgers we ordered were way too dry. The waiter was very friendly, but we would have liked a little more from the general service. No effort was made at all to ensure customer well-being. No question as to whether everything was OK or whether anything else was needed. You were only served when you asked. Unfortunately, given that you pay such a “high” price, I can’t recommend the whole thing at all.

I have to honestly say it was the worst visit to a restaurant I've had in a long time! Bad service, unfriendly staff and the worst was the food. I ordered a fillet steak and got something completely different and the wrong cooking level...just disappointing. I'll never leave money there again. Also incredibly long waiting time! On a Friday evening we waited 2 hours for a steak and a side dish, just disappointing...

The food was overpriced, I had churrasco with a maximum of 100g of meat (dry), 2 zucchini slices, 2 pepper slices and 1/3 of a corn cob for €25 plus onion rings for €8. My partner had a burger for €18 and a (quite small) portion of sweet potato fries for €7. We waited 40 minutes for the food. After the first drink and the food order, we were literally ignored by the waiters. After we were finally able to tell a waiter (after 15 minutes of getting our attention) that we wanted to pay. No one came for 30 minutes until we went to the bar to say this again. So the service was a real disaster even though the store was pretty empty towards the end.

Food was quite okay. Price performance only partially matches. The menu is a challenge. It's best to take a piece of paper and a pen with you so that you can write down every part of your dish. You have to order everything individually. The ambience was very good. My conclusion: It was worth an experience.

When we arrived at 7:30 p.m., we discovered that there wasn't a single parking space left, which speaks for the popularity of the restaurant, but also required some patience. Our table was excellently placed and had comfortable chairs that invited us to linger for a longer period of time. Service and food The service at Timberjacks was very friendly and accommodating. The waitress always tried to make sure we had a pleasant evening. The food itself was of good quality; the dishes were tasty and well prepared. However, it took between 45 minutes and an hour for our main course to be served, which was significantly longer than expected and was unfortunately a bit of a downer. Overall, Timberjacks in Siegen offers a great atmosphere with good food and friendly service, even if there were some organizational challenges during our visit.

Very impressive shop. Everything is built to be huge and present. There is plenty of space in the restaurant and it is clean. The staff is very friendly. The portions on the plates are generous. The food tastes quite good. But it should also be the case with the prices. We will definitely go there again.

The store was filled to capacity. Absolutely not enough parking spaces. Very loud in the restaurant. The service was very friendly and helpful. But in my opinion the service itself was completely overwhelmed by the large number of guests (many Christmas parties). 1 hour waiting time for the first drink, 2 hours for the food, which arrived lukewarm at the table. If I spend over €40 on a main course I expect corresponding service from the kitchen and bar. An absolute disappointment. Definitely not again!

Unfortunately I'm a bit disappointed with this location. We had our company party there with around 40 people. Despite pre-ordering each employee's dishes, we waited up to 2.5 hours for the food, drink orders also took up to 30 minutes or longer or didn't come at all. That really dampened the mood of the whole evening. Only the nice get-together among colleagues saved the evening. And I'm not alone with this opinion. I only give the two stars for the delicious food and the special ambience.

2021: Impressively good for our area! (That was our first visit back then) 10/2022 The second visit, however, was a real failure - and without eating!!! - Table reserved with the note that it was my wife's birthday and this time because of our daughter (6) we would like to reserve a table with a normal seat height and not a high table! Well... THAT didn't work, annoying but what the heck!? - After 10 minutes of map knowledge: Me: "I would like the Prime Rip." Waiter: "Sorry, it's over!" Me: "?? Ok then I'll check again." - Another 10 minutes of map knowledge... My daughter received a pad for children to color in, and in the meantime asked nicely if she could get a pen. Service: "I'm sorry, they're out of stock!" Me: "Ok then I would like the T-bone steak." Waiter: "Yeah... I'm sorry, that's over too!" -short silence- I was now slightly annoyed, then wanted to pay for the drinks and leave, I should have gotten 9.30 back. Service: "I'm sorry, I only have 9.20 cents..." ... It's really not about the money for me, but it fits so well with what's going on so far. Started weak and slowed down a lot, at least today. If only 2-3 of this variety are available a week, as I was told, when exactly are these days? Just to avoid the previous situation?!

Very, very dubious. The little Indian "business leader" in particular makes a very unkempt impression and smells very strong. We were there as vegan guests with meat eaters and I have to say that the selection was ok but underwhelming. Sure, it's primarily a steakhouse, but given the current times and current changes, I would have liked more. E.g. that the fruit ice cream is at least vegan for a dessert. For us it is one of the most beautiful restaurants in Germany. The ambience and furnishings are perfectly coordinated and cozy. Service, drinks and food were great. There are finally other drinks and food available. For example, Don Papa with Smoky Cola, or the BBQ Combo on Monday. We hope that this restaurant will be around for a long time.

We were very satisfied with the hotel, as well as with the restaurant. Everything was as I already knew it from Kassel. The ambience is of course spectacular and makes you feel good! Good restaurant, generally nice staff and the cleanliness was also okay. Unfortunately, I also have to say that the first greeting, as in Kassel, was anything but friendly! The other employees did their best to make us forget about the uncharming reception as quickly as possible! We should work on this and train the respective employees better. Since all good things come in threes and it really is a great place to stay, we would of course come back again 😊

We were there on a Friday evening and had reserved. After about 10 minutes someone assigned us our table. We then had to wait a relatively long time for our waiter. You could easily ignore all of this. But what doesn't work is when you order a ribeye steak and get something else. This was definitely not a ribeye steak and when you pay such a price for the steak you can expect high quality. The meat was meaty and didn't have the eye of fat in the middle like usual with ribeye. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he said why I hadn't asked him about it. I told him I ate it anyway because I hadn't seen him for a good hour. No apology or reparation was offered. I am very disappointed because you would expect a little more professionalism in a store like this. I would give the restaurant another chance, but unfortunately the impression I got was not convincing.

We were there for the first time. It received a lot of praise from some friends. I'll say it was okay. The burgers were a reasonable size for the price. My wife's tasted strange because of the strange white cheese (like it came from a spray can). Mine probably would have been good if it was hot. As I said, food was only lukewarm at the beginning. From the first third onwards my burger was cold. The second round of drinks sat on the counter for so long that my beer no longer had any foam and some more was tapped before it was brought out. Ambience good. Impressive with the large wooden beams etc. Staff super friendly. But I've had better burgers in Germany.

The ambience is very nice and rustic, looks great. If it is busy, the volume will be correspondingly high. The food is good, sometimes it takes a little longer, but that's understandable given the number of people.

Mega location, the look and furnishings of the restaurant are really great and developed with care and taste. The food is very good, the selection is huge and the service is very professional and friendly In terms of price, it's in the high segment and not for those on a budget. So everyone has to decide for themselves whether it's worth it!

We would like to give one star. Table reserved 3 weeks in advance and still forty!!! Waited minutes for a table. We weren't even offered a drink while we waited. When we asked, we only got a curt answer that you couldn't drive the other guests away - ah yes. You think that's it, but no, it continues happily: another 20 minutes of waiting until someone came to record. Complained again, we were offered a hot drink on the house, but we couldn't order it again until after 30 minutes because no one came to take it, even though we had drawn our attention three times. It's a shame because the food, although very expensive, was pretty good. Nevertheless, we won't come again because of the poor service.

Probably the wrong day and at the wrong table... pretty expensive too. So when you get the seats next to the rodeo bull on Sunday lunchtime it gets tiring. The bull riding itself is quite amusing, but if the thing is being used as a legal bouncy castle for all the children present for the entire time, it's not a pleasant experience. In addition, the air machine for the part hums very loudly. The food was OK but, as mentioned at the beginning, not for those on a tight budget. It was my first visit...well...let's see if there's a second chance for my first impression.

We were here spontaneously on Monday (11/11/24) around 2:30 p.m. The last time was a year ago and we were looking forward to the food. We stood around at the entrance for some time without paying any attention. We then asked the waitress at the counter if we could sit in one of the mostly free seats without a reservation. She had to ask first and then assigned us a table. Ordering drinks went quickly. We then decided on the BBQ platter for Monday's offer. When we asked, we were told that this would be enough for one person. So we ordered two. We were very disappointed. The pulled meat from poultry and beef could still be eaten, it was soft and in a little sauce. The 2 chicken wings too. But the steak meat was dry and there was a hard burnt crust on the outside. Likewise, the alleged rib meat was indefinable and cut into tiny little cubes, dry, hard and burnt. It seemed like the leftovers from the weekend had been warmed up. Very disappointed, so we told the service person when she asked. For 29.90 per plate we expected something better. At least they could have offered us an espresso on the house. It was definitely our last visit, even though the atmosphere is great. 1 star for that.

The restaurant is exactly what I imagine a US steakhouse to be. The staff was super friendly and tried hard. Everything didn't always go smoothly. The food was great and the quality of the meat too. (I expect the same given the prices) The only point of criticism - after eating, the table next to me was completely greasy. That was annoying because the service didn't pay any attention to it. Then wiped it away with napkins and handkerchief. Cocktails were great!!! Unfortunately, the espresso or coffee didn't taste good. Please do something better.

Whole restaurant smells like raw meat - not positive… Ordered burger without cheese due to allergy - was ignored by the kitchen. Already intense The burger was brought out within minutes, but that's what it looked like: little toppings, everything somewhere and the side dishes of fries and dip were missing. So wave Keller over again…. Drink wasn't full but 0.3l costs €4.80... Food was completely normal, absolutely nothing special: 0815 No compensation for the wrong burger three times

Well, pretty disappointing. After 1 year it's not as good as it used to be. Meat wasn't fried well and didn't taste good. No more premium quality but charging 60 euros for it. Table was dirty and smeared with Möhnesee. Won't come anymore.

I recently had the pleasure of dining here and I have nothing but positive things to say! The location is simply fantastic with a welcoming atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxed meal. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The staff really looked after us and made us feel comfortable. I was particularly impressed by how quickly everything went from ordering to serving the food. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit!

People now rely on quantity instead of quality; they can't handle larger groups, even if you reserve in advance so that you can plan for staff, etc.

I've eaten there a few times with my wife. Now, after a while, we have returned. What I noticed is that the portions have become smaller. For example, the pulled pork beef burger has a lot less on it than before. Atmosphere was great, our service was also great and very friendly, everything tasted okay, except for the fact that the portions were smaller.

Ambiance is cozy but very noisy. Food very tasty. When we sat at the table it took a while for the waiter to bring us the cards. In the end we had to ask for the bill twice because the waiter had either forgotten it or was otherwise busy.

The Timberjacks in Siegen offers a beautiful location and impressive hotel rooms that are definitely a highlight. Unfortunately I had to change rooms twice because the first two rooms weren't really clean. I would particularly like to highlight the employee Leon - he was extremely hard-working and did everything he could to help me. Despite these initial difficulties, I felt comfortable and would definitely come back.

I actually like going to Timberjacks. The food is usually very good and the atmosphere is certainly unparalleled in the area. You have to make a reservation and then you usually have enough time and are served and treated appropriately. Unfortunately, this is obviously only the case when the store is half empty, because if it's full, the staff completely loses their bearings. There is a rush when you haven't even made your selection yet and even when you arrived 15 minutes early. Very unpleasant. The food is of mediocre quality and takes a long time and is then delivered incomplete, which is unfortunately problematic at Timberjacks because here you have to put together the main courses and side dishes yourself. If a missing supplement is then submitted as suggested, this happens after an unknown waiting period and you are more likely to forego it altogether. If you try to take advantage of the on-site offer, which is kids bull riding on Sundays, you will be put off again and again and in the end nothing will happen. Of course, the card is taken away from you during your stay and if you then try to order dessert, they just say that you can remember the ice cream flavors at the entrance from your memory. If you point out to the staff that this is not okay, you will only get the tepid and trite answer that you can see that it is full. I'm just wondering why I have to care about this as a guest. On the one hand, I leave over 100 EUR for a meal there with my wife and child, without alcoholic drinks, because in the afternoon and on the other hand, the restaurant operator knows in advance how to plan, because the guest list is definitely known in advance. I deeply regret giving my money to this shop for such miserable treatment instead of giving it to a restaurant that appreciates that guests come and leave significant amounts of money there. On the drive In a fast food chain you get better and quicker service.

I reserved a table 4 weeks in advance. We waited 40 minutes for our table. The drink order came twice, for whatever reason. The waiting time for the food was about 40-45 minutes. We sat squeezed together at a table for 6 people of 10. There's nothing wrong with the food, it's delicious and there's a large selection. But the service is an absolute disaster, there is no overview and in no restaurant world is it okay to make guests with a reservation wait 40 minutes. Longer waiting times for food are okay, but I've never experienced that before. I would have liked to give more stars but unfortunately this restaurant couldn't convince me. It's definitely worth a visit during the week but it was really a complete disaster.

My first burger was still raw. Went back without any problem and got a new one. Unfortunately it wasn't the one I ordered and the patty was lukewarm, completely dry and unseasoned. It seemed like the patty was warmed up. No signs of SMASH. The cheese didn't even begin to melt. Expected something better for the price. Afterwards I had stomach problems (I don't know anything else). I don't need it again

Food was, as always, delicious. Unfortunately for one of us the burger wasn't cooked properly, the replacement was another one that was €2 cheaper. But it would have been replaced again if requested.

Not even worth this star. Despite a reservation, we waited 20 minutes and others without a reservation got a table before us. When asked about a drink, there was no response or courtesy from the staff.

A no go!!!! Not worth a star!!!!!!! Reserved a table for 2 people and still had to wait more than 20 minutes in the entrance area because supposedly there was no table available... Unfortunately nothing happened and even when we asked, we were only told that we could welcome the other guests Don't send them away.....The staff also didn't respond in advance (ordering drinks..) .....We left super angry and disappointed.....Very bad management and timing!!!! Went to Timberjacks Motel in Siegen for a long weekend. Nice location, excellent service but pricey. The quality of the food is very good, the rooms deserve some attention even though the accommodation opened in 2021. Housekeeping also has room for improvement. Overall had an excellent experience. Take the car to explore the area because there is nothing to do in Siegen itself.

Were there today. Ok, half of the food was lukewarm, you had to request cutlery, which took some time in order to be able to eat something slightly warm. What's not right is that the paper towels in the toilets were out, even after informing the staff nothing happened. There were two puddles on the men's urinal, really puddles underneath, although you have to say that if you behave like a pig when you're away from home, the staff can't help it. But here too a note to the staff, unfortunately I don't know whether a remedy has been found. The staff was very friendly. Conclusion, for a high-priced restaurant you should pay attention to certain things!

Hello, I was there with a few people last night. And it was a very nice evening. A very nice restaurant with great attention to detail. & friendly staff. I can only recommend it.

We received a voucher from friends and then redeemed it. Had our dogs with us, no problem with dogs at all. The welcome was very good and we were brought to the table in a friendly manner. The service at the table was first class and the food was delicious. We will definitely come back.

I went with my friends. Tge restaurant was really good the service team was the highlight.

Were only there to eat. Very nice atmosphere, very close to an American steakhouse. The service was ok, if you go out to eat you should take the time. The food itself is excellent and I can recommend the whole thing with a clear conscience.

Delicious burgers and great ambience

Were there today for a birthday party with around 12 people invited there. The location is really beautifully done and harmonious. The waiting times were also reasonable if you read some of the other reviews here. You can argue about the food, it wasn't my case, but that's also because this American style isn't really my thing and I probably wouldn't have gone there on my own initiative. What was particularly negative, however, was the strong, acrid smell throughout the restaurant. It's unclear to me whether it's fumes from leather or stuffed animals or even the paint on the wood. Unfortunately you can't open a window either. The result was that my father, who has lung problems, immediately started gasping for breath and had to leave after 90 seconds. You should definitely look into the smell problem because it definitely doesn't come from the food.

Are really disappointed 😮 Side dishes cold Dry and cold churrasco was only lit when asked and then it was only half cooked. Fries would be replaced because they were cold and cold ones would be brought back to us. Then when billing, two tables would be added together...we had to re-submit our entire order four times. Some of the waiters don't speak German. My 7 year old daughter had to order in English. Despite a complaint and a reference to cold food, no apology was offered. Something like that shouldn't happen in a store like this. Then it's better to go to a small old restaurant where value is still placed on the guest and his wishes and suggestions.

Food perfect, although some things were no longer available (if you don't come at the right time, you have to see what's left). Rooms very modern and clean. As a frequent traveler, high praise. Technically very well equipped (shower glass wall slightly leaks). Great and above all appropriate music. Staff very courteous and very hospitable in all respects. Went there for lunch yesterday with 5 people. At this point the restaurant was almost empty. Most of the side dishes were cold. One only came after 20 minutes. At this point the fillet steak was already cold. In the end the bill was also incorrect. You have to think about coming back again for the price.... This location, which is great in itself, urgently needs professional organization and structure

The food and ambience are a feast for the eyes

The restaurant feels like it gets more expensive every time you visit, but you get something in return. The food there has always been very tasty and the service is always on point and very friendly despite the busy times! Large selection of different drinks and not just the standard stuff like in other restaurants. The only negative point is the coriander in the rice, which you can't cancel. But that's just my personal taste ;) Dessert is also highly recommended.

Tolles Ambiente, Services freundlich aber mit Vergesslichkeit, Steaks, eine mittlere Katastrophe. Statt Steaks am Stück gab es Gulasch und 2 hauchdünne Scheiben Fleisch.

ich war das erste mal in diesem Restaurant und war schlichtweg begeistert. alles war so, wie ich es mir vorgestellt habe. wenn ich in einem noblen 5 Sterne Hotel essen möchte, bin ich hier fehl am Platz. hier ist es rustikal, schmeckt alles sehr lecker, gute Portionen, sehr gute Musik, sehr gutes Ambiente und alles big, bigger ,biggest.seht Euch nur die Leinwand an !!! das ist eben der Gute Geist von Amerika, wer Ihn mag ist hier bestens aufgehoben. schlechte Kritiken geben nur permanente Nörgeler ab, die eh immer und überall unzufrieden sind. wie jedenfalls kommen immer wieder und das schon am 21.07.2024. wir freuen uns jetzt schon drauf, echt ein Event. toll, dass es so ein Lokal in Siegen gibt.
