Puro Gusto in Frankfurt am Main

Does the owner even drink his own coffee?? Paid 5.20 euros for the most horrible cappuccino ever!!! And no cinnamon or chocolate to save it a litte bit. Terrible!! Avoid at all cost the coffee.

No cash? Impossible! I wanted to pay for my coffee in cash, but that's not accepted here. Customer-unfriendly and inflexible. Not everyone wants to pay by card!

Opening times were noted at 5 am. Its 5:40 and the 2 workers were just chatting by the coffee lids.

Went to Puro Gusto Hall A today to get a coffee, card payment only! It's already presumptuous to tell customers how to pay! A person in front of me also simply left because she probably wanted to get rid of her last euros but couldn't pay in cash. Well - whoever has, has.

Impossible, I just wanted to have a coffee but unfortunately that wasn't possible, I could only pay by card, no cash, I just wonder what older people do who don't know how to pay by card! Very bad for an international airport!

We were just at Terminal B5 and were sent away because we hadn't bought anything yet! After a 12 hour flight we wanted to go to the toilet before coffee. Absolute impudence. One star is still too many!!!!!!

I purchased with a Lufthansa voucher. The staff was extremely rude, probably made comments towards me. Then he apologized and served me, still rude. I don't recommend it.

I purchased a sandwich and a bottle of orangeade. The sandwich was good, albeit extremely expensive. The service was detached and, at times, rude.

Food is priced as expected for an airport. But the service was absolutely horrible. You hate your current job? Maybe you should try finding another one. Eat something before crossing to Gates B.

Unfortunately, the quality of the coffee at Puro Gusto in Terminal B at Frankfurt Airport was disappointing and did not meet the expectations raised by the store's advertising. What was particularly negative was that the employee was obviously not sufficiently trained in how to use the portafilter and the correct brewing technique. The coffee was apparently prepared in advance and only poured as needed, which had a significantly negative effect on its freshness and taste. Given the price of 5.20 euros for a cappuccino, this quality is difficult to understand and leaves the impression that the price-performance ratio is clearly unbalanced.

A small misunderstanding due to the waiter's poor knowledge of German (usually solved with a small smile) caused them to go through the roof, as was the case with the previous guest. Insults, threats and loud gesticulations don't belong in a restaurant any more than this impudent person behind a customer counter... And all because the lady understood 1 cappuccino instead of 3...

The atmosphere is wonderful. We waited a long time for the order. The food is delicious. I'll definitely go again.

If it would be possible I would have give 0 stars. What a horrible experience. The claim of “fine food” as a header is an outright lie. The food is very bad. The caprese bread tasted like it was from yesterday and it was wet and smushy from the tomato. Besides the poor tasting food the service was horrible. Extremely unfriendly stuff, choose any other place above this.

8:30, gate full, customers standing in a long line because there is only one person there to serve??? Overall, the facility is, let's put it that way, shabby. But at €4.10 for a 0.5L bottle of water you can certainly expect a little more maintenance. After all, it is food. What does it look like behind the scenes?

I'm surprised by such negative opinions, the sandwiches are tasty and always fresh, the coffee is very good, and sometimes you have to wait a while in a queue... it's hard, after all, it's an airport, there are always queues here. And complaining about the staff who work under constant time pressure because everyone is in a hurry is inappropriate. I recommend it and always use it when I have a flight from this airport.

Cappuccino and Café Creme unfortunately disappointing. Tastes like a better machine coffee and for the price. Unfortunately it wasn't the 'pure taste'.

I've rarely had such a bad cappuccino. When I arrived at the gate, I noticed that the cappuccino was simply a shot of espresso and some hot water with a little milk. When I went back to the store to complain, they simply gave me more milk with some foam. When I complained again they told me that's how cappuccinos are made in Germany and I had no idea. I didn't accept it and wanted my money back, which they did.

Just airport prices! Friendly ladies at the checkout but hardly any seating, pizza slices O.K. The B area B1 -B9 is just the stupidest in FRA if you want to have a nice bite to eat or enjoy your holiday bubbly before departure...

Terrible service. The lady did not want to redeem the voucher from the airline for the delayed flight. She explained that the system After some persuasion, she tried it and everything worked.

9/8/2024 9:30am Frankfurt Airport Our flight was delayed and as a result we received vouchers from our airline. (are 4 people) Then go to Puro Gusto Gate B the employees Ms. Vermehr…, refused to serve us because it was too much effort for her to redeem the vouchers and she didn't feel like it. Then she took off her apron in anger and just left her workplace, leaving us standing there. After 5-10 minutes she came back and still didn't want to serve us and was disrespectful to us and other guests who were already complaining. This employee even argued with another customer in our presence. We then went to friendly competition without buying anything. I've never experienced anything like that before, it was pure outrageous!!! Mega disrespectful!! You or your employer should think about whether this place is right for you! I would prefer to give 0 stars.

Her treatment is terrible, apart from not listening to you and putting you on something else that you didn't ask for, then she gets angry and treats you badly in addition to having exaggerated prices because it is an airport. Since you're going to spend the money, go somewhere else.

Be careful, if you wanna buy a cup of coffee, you might miss your flight because there are not enough number of people working. I’ve been waiting for at least 15 minutes, I could only move 5 meters in the queue

one of the worst staff I ever deal with!!! only one lady taking the orders, making coffee and deals with pays although there were another two employees a man and woman who didn't bother theme selves to answer any questions or even reply the 15 people in the que! a bottle 500 ml of water costs 4.5 euro 👎 after I wake towards the gate I saw more 2 small markets and they have water bottles.

Really, the person who answers the clients does not care about reading what they say, for more than a month people have been saying that the service and treatment is horrible and nothing has changed. Today the customer treatment is still horrible, between them and a pseudo boss who only goes around counting euros and mistreating the staff. Those who have no idea what they sell, or what is vegetarian, or what a salami is... don't go. Eat somewhere else before you travel.

Like other customers I politely waited in line for the coffee shop to open. The lady was very nervous about customers waiting to open, and reacted unpleasantly to the greeting. I, like others, decided to have coffee on the plane. More smile, the customer human too

Extremely rude staff, the man who works here June 7 at noon shouts at a customer because she accidentally ordered the wrong thing and he didn’t want to help, refused to sell her anything and throw the pretzel in the counter. This is super unprofessional and rude.

Service was very good and place is nice for spending some time. However, the food, without being offensive, is an outrage - at least what we had. The Baguette with tomato mozzarella was tasting like nothing and the chocolate croissant (if you are even allowed to call it like this) was worse than the packaged croissants in Aldi or Lidl. Didn’t know that it is so difficult to „at least“ offer it in a basic way…so food feels like a airport scam.

We were in transit at Frankfurt airport where we found this small restaurant at Schengen Level 3. Except for cheese sandwich there was nothing for vegetarians. Since there was no other option we had to eat what was available.

First visit to Frankfurt airport, the lady serving was rude and impatient with a larger order. While the card machine was down on her till I can understand some frustration, but it’s not acceptable to verbally raise your voice to us as customers. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re just grabbing a few items, positive was the coffee was decent.

Very unfriendly staff. Apparently Café Crema and Café Americano are the same. I'm just a paying customer and not the idiot of these incompetent employees. Never again.

The cappuccino for €4.40 tastes like combining milk foam with filter coffee. The Cafe Crema, on the other hand, tastes like flavored hot water. Tables and chairs don't seem to have been cleaned for a while. Overall, rather intimidating.

Kleines Café im Flughafen Frankfurt Nähe Gate A 26. Kleine Snacks, auch Pizzen, Kaffee und andere Getränke. Nicht soviel los, deswegen für einen Stopp gut geeignet. Preise wie überall hier relativ hoch. Deshalb ist es egal, wo man seine Pause macht.

Der Frankfurter Flughafen ist ja nun wirklich keine Schönheit. Das Puro Gusto wertet das ein wenig auf. Die Preise sind natürlich knackig, das war der Salat aber auch. Auch die restlichen Speisen und Getränke waren lecker.

Nice little place, with some food and drink, friendly stuff

While my food was okay, I almost walked away because of the unpleasant atmosphere. The blond lady behind the counter is not only yelling at and abusing her colleague, she also communicates with customers in a rude manner.

Totale Katastrophe! Kein Kaffee, weil die alleine bedienende Dame keine Zeit hat die Kaffeemaschine zu reinigen, kleines Pellegrini soll erst 7,50€, dann aber doch 4,50 kosten, Tische, Wände, Boden dreckig! Es ist nicht zu verstehen, dass das Management im Gegensatz zu anderen Bars keine Leute anstellt -das Management versagt - despite sollte den Vertrag kündigen und an ein UN vergeben, das auch Umsatz machen möchte! PS: Ein einsames ,kleines Männchen läuft rum und wischt mit sinkendem Lappen die Tische ab…. 🤢

Service was very slow. The staff member was on his own and clearly was not competent enough to be working alone. The coffee ordered was not what we received. The hot chocolate was cold. The prices are also quite high. We saw quite a few people leave the queue. Overall not very good. It might just be an unfortunate day.

In der heutigen Zeit, in der in Doofland keiner mehr wirklich arbeiten will, freue ich mich über den freundlichen Herrn am Samstag den 1.10.22 um 5.50h, der mir nicht nur einen frischen heissen und wohlschmeckenden Kaffee, sondern sogar ein freundliches Lächeln gegeben hat. Vielen Dank.
