PURiNO Krefeld in Krefeld

We were in Krefeld two weeks ago. It was so disappointing. My carbonara was so bad. It was pasta with scrambled eggs. Stay away from the carbonara. Purino, take it off the menu! My daughter's pasta was also very greasy, and one of the plates had the wrong order and arrived 20 minutes late. What a shame.

We visited Purino for the first time yesterday and were very impressed by the atmosphere. The tour of the restaurant was easy and exciting at this early hour... the service, a young woman who served us and gave us a great introduction to the menu... was simply superb. We found the food very good and tasty... hence a very positive review here as well. We felt very comfortable during those two hours. Thank you!

I don't need it anymore! Service completely overwhelmed. Drinks were sometimes forgotten. Waited over 20 minutes to be able to order and only got the starter after over an hour and some of it was forgotten. Never again!

1 hour waiting time for the starters, forgot a starter and got it after 30 minutes after asking twice. Another 1 hour wait for the main courses. Everything would be ok if it were high-quality, freshly prepared food, instead everything is already ready and just needs to be served. Really poor taste and quality. Better go to the little Italian restaurant next door!

The starters were served quickly, but the bruschetta was really inedible. The tomatoes were mushy and obviously from the day before, the bread could have used a short roasting. While we were still eating the starter, the main course was brought out. We are by no means slow eaters. So our pasta sat untouched on the table for quite a while next to the starters that hadn't yet been fully eaten and was almost completely cooled when we finally tried it. A disappointment in terms of taste. There was no cake because, according to the staff, it had not been taken out of the freezer the day before and therefore had not thawed. Although the tiramisu looked very appealing, the taste was more like a cake-like dessert and had little to do with a real tiramisu. The waiters were friendly, the restaurant was clean and the decor was inviting. Still not a recommendation - for us it's just this one visit.

We've been here several times and it's always great. But we have to particularly praise the great service, every single employee is super friendly and motivated.

Cool location but also very cold and very loud due to the industrial character. Food good but not great either. Service - too few people for such a big store. The staff present was very helpful and friendly.

We had a lovely evening with our friends. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio of my pasta with steak meat was inadequate and our seat to the right of the counter on the wall was very drafty and therefore cold. There were four of us and we had a lovely evening. We each had a delicious starter. Both of us women had a bowl each. The men pizza and pasta. Everything was extremely tasty 😋. There was also enough wine. At the end there was espresso, cappuccino and panna cotta. Our waitress, Rose, read our wishes from our eyes before we had them. We'll definitely be back.

The grill is not worth it at all for the price! We waited a really long time for our food and then the potatoes and fries even arrived cold... although there wasn't much going on. Otherwise we don't mind spending more money on food, but with such a service it was painful. Purino will never see us again! The ambience is very nicely designed, but it is still very cold in there.

What happened here?- New leadership? I have visited Purino in Krefeld several times, with friends, with my partner and as a family. At the beginning it was super nice, very friendly and helpful. It's been very underground since the last few times. You make a reservation and still have to wait forever on the “couch” because the table isn’t ready. There were 5 of us with three hungry children. When the table was finally finished, I was horrified. There were only three glasses there, as if they were left over from the previous guests, the cutlery wasn't complete and everything was still dirty. At this point I would like to emphasize that there wasn't much going on. The waitress didn't really greet us and started arguing again while we were taking drinks. This lady had proven before that arithmetic is not her strong suit, so perhaps she is wrong here. When we asked, we were only able to order food after 50 minutes. We then had to wait over an hour with the kids for the food. And last but not least, two out of five dishes were wrong. We had imagined the evening differently. The ambience and the whole store is beautiful in itself, but the food and service have extremely deteriorated. Unfortunately we will no longer be guests here. But maybe it will slowly cause a rethink.

We just had a spontaneous meal at Purino, which is highly recommended!! There was a lot going on and the entire part was done by 2 people. Very fast, very reliable and very personable despite the many customers. The food was brilliant, this time there was pizza. Greetings go out to the kitchen, keep it up! It's definitely worth a visit. In the colder months, wear something warmer.

The restaurant has a super nice atmosphere. The food is very tasty, everyone gets their own taste here. The service is friendly and attentive. We always enjoy coming here.

Service wasn't good. The employees definitely don't come from the catering industry. The food was so-so. In the case of the Parma pizza, the ham slices were much too thick and then rolled up. Difficult to eat and that's just not how Parma ham is prepared. I mentioned the whole thing and was told that it was intentional since they weren't at Lidl after all. After a long delay, a wrong pasta dish was brought. It's just a system restaurant chain...

The service was a bit slow, but still very nice. The food was horrible! The steaks were ordered medium rare and came to the table. It was way too salty. The bowl ordered with “cauliflower risotto” came with overcooked, mushy rice that had a rice pudding consistency. After the complaints, the boss came to the table and listened to them. But it still didn't represent a solution, but asked us what would help us in this situation.

Really delicious and fresh food. The store is huge which sometimes leads to short waiting times. The food and ambience are definitely worth it. I also think the prices are fair.

I was a repeat offender at Purino. I think the atmosphere is great and the service - although obviously unskilled - was particularly friendly and attentive! However, the food fell a bit short: the bruschetta wasn't good. Bread limp and the tomatoes way too cold. So hardly any taste. The pasta was okay, pizza was great.

We spent a wonderful and entertaining evening there today. With this review I would like to point out how valuable attentive service staff are and what contribution they make to a perfect guest experience. Unfortunately there was a problem with my food. But our waiter, Hussam, was incredibly attentive and friendly. He responded immediately with great understanding and immediately provided a solution. He treated us extremely courteously and attentively throughout the evening. A truly outstanding service, thank you Hussam :)

Hello community, I don't like writing bad reviews but in this case it's justified. My wife and I booked a table for Valentine's Day at 8:30 p.m. The reception service was fine so far. I would have liked the tables to have been decorated according to the occasion, perhaps with a flower or something similar, but that was ok. It was very crowded. You were left completely alone at the table. Only when we asked did someone come and we could order the drinks. These were served around 9 p.m. Waiting time about 25 minutes. In the meantime we were able to order food. At 10:20 p.m., after about 1 1/2 hours of waiting, I told one of the employees that we were giving up our food. We paid for the two drinks and left. I found it very unfortunate. I would have liked to try one of the steaks. The Purino has potential but the service is subpar. Too many guests and too few staff. That doesn't work, especially on such special days. For the demands with which the Purino wants to present itself, it falls far short of expectations, apart from the prices.

I was here with my boyfriend on Valentine's Day and it was super nice! Service was great even though it was so busy. Food delicious as always. It was a great evening, I even got a rose at the end. Again and again!

I can only recommend this place. We were there on Valentine's Day, the service was super nice and accommodating... There were exclusively decorated drinks especially for Valentine's Day, and the dessert was also very sweet. Overall the experience was exactly as I imagined it would be. I would definitely come again.

The two of us reserved a table. The store was well attended. We were quickly able to take the drinks order. And this is where the positive events end. We waited over half an hour for our drinks (we should have noticed what it was like there). We waited a whopping 2.5 hours for our food (a plate of pasta and a tomahawk steak). The noodles were already cold and my steak was mediocre (own opinion). And then came the worst: the bill. We were charged €287 for a plate of pasta, steak, a bottle of water, a Hugo and a gin and tonic... I pointed out that it couldn't be right, whereupon they informed themselves and realized that they had made a mistake with the bill and the steak. New price: 175€ That didn't make things much better. The steak prices aren't on the menu and afterwards you'll know why. Even the bone is weighed and paid for. The whole process there was a nightmare. Never again.

Despite the full house, the service was incredibly warm, attentive and professional - you really feel welcome here. A special highlight was the meat counter: fresh, high quality and perfectly prepared! My steak was grilled to perfection, juicy and full of flavor. The side dishes were also excellent and rounded off the meal perfectly. The atmosphere was cozy and romantic – just right for a special evening. A big compliment to the entire team, we will definitely be back! 🥩❤️

On a special occasion like Valentine's Day, despite having a reservation, you are pushed / put under time pressure because the table is only reserved for 1:45 hours, with the justification that we can offer everyone a table or, to put it another way, "today we make sales and let as many guests in as possible." Food and drinks came quite quickly and the conditions were very friendly to us, but we noticed that it wasn't the same at other tables. Customers noticed that the dishes were not clean and the only response was that it would be normal if they came out of the dishwasher instead of bringing new ones. Well, back to the essentials, the pasta ordered was something between raw and aldente so not necessarily edible, the steak was almost done instead of medium and that was the case at every table you talked to about it. However, the owner/owner understood and apologized profusely. I know better quality from you, so we wanted to spend the evening with you in peace, but today it was unfortunately a disappointment.

We had reserved for two people on Saturday evening. It was very loud and quite dark. I guess so you can't see the dust because the table wasn't cleaned. Waited almost an hour for food. We've never eaten so badly. We ordered antipasti as a starter. Vegetables were fried in olive oil and nothing more. It just tasted like oil. No spices. For the main course we ordered pizza and gluten-free pasta. The pizza was only lukewarm and there was more water on top like tomatoes and totally thin. The noodles were cooked too long and were just sticky and overly seasoned. We won't go here anymore.

Here for the first time and absolutely thrilled! The nice young service staff are committed and loving, very attentive and respond to all wishes! A great new experience for us: meat advice with heart and mind when selecting the excellent cut of meat from the heifer. Fantastically prepared according to our preferences, a stunner: truffled fries. Music also great. Conclusion: We'll be back!

Dear team, I had lunch with you today with four work colleagues, and unfortunately our visit was anything but satisfactory. Due to the limited choice as no tomato sauce was available and therefore we couldn't order a pizza, we opted for the Olio. To our surprise, however, it was served without olive oil. The dish did not live up to expectations in any way and we were very disappointed with the quality of the food. In addition, the service person who served us was visibly overwhelmed as she had to take on the entire service alone - and that at lunchtime at 1:00 p.m. Although she did her best, the overall situation seemed chaotic. It's a real shame because your location is very attractive, but unfortunately the experience didn't live up to it. I hope you take this feedback as an impetus to improve your processes and quality, because the potential of your gastronomy seems to be great.

Update 2025: given enough chances now I've lost patience. The atmosphere is really nice and the seating is very cozy and comfortable. The food is good, no question, but nothing special and often came very late, with meat if vegetarian was ordered, or cold. Most recently, I waited a total of 40 minutes at the entrance door and then at the table for lunch and wasn't served. I then left without eating anything. Sorry, but that just doesn't work. There are really enough alternatives in Krefeld and the surrounding area that I would prefer to Purino.
