The ambience is more of a modern & industrial style, which unfortunately makes it very loud and rather uncomfortable for me. The service was understaffed but tried very hard and the food was delicious.

Sehr interessante Speisekarte und schönes Ambiente. Allerdings sehr laut, wenn der Laden voll besetzt ist. Das sehr junge Personal war sehr freundlich aber völlig überlastet - dadurch teilweise lange Wartezeiten auf Getränke etc.

A nice restaurant with enough tables, both inside and outside. The staff is friendly and the food is very tasty. There are plenty of parking options in the parking garage.

We had to wait a very long time for our order to be taken. We were about to leave when an employee sat down next to us. Pizza was brought ice cold and there was hardly any toppings (for the price!)! Nope, we'd rather go back to the Italian restaurant around the corner, where we get a lot more for almost half the money!

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food as we weren't served for 25 minutes. Very annoying. Unfortunately we didn't have time to wait another 50 minutes for the food. Too few service staff.

We were able to host our wedding celebration at PURiNO. The location offers plenty of space and our 85 guests had enough space to spread out. By using the outdoor area for the champagne reception and/or the buffet, this also becomes a highlight in late summer when the weather is nice. There is a small playground for children and there is enough space on the terrace or inside to keep them busy. In the evening, the interior offers enough space for speeches, games or dancing. We really liked the ambience of industrial history and modern interior design and developed a wonderful charm. The team put a lot of effort into ensuring that nothing was left to be desired and looked after all guests very well at all times. The selection of menus is very large, so there is enough for every taste (or intolerance). This was implemented excellently in terms of taste by the kitchen! Thank you very much for your efforts - you gave our celebration a worthy setting!

Edit: I would like to respond to your answer. Unfortunately, I haven't received any real suggestions for improvement or an attempt to address the exact points of criticism via email. An invitation to a personal conversation, a free meal as compensation, a simple apology... would have been nice and appropriate. Furthermore, I sought the conversation on site and you, as the managing director, were not present. As a waiter you could have made contact by phone or or or. The problem is the service. There were times when we waited so long for a new drink order to be taken that I went to the kitchen myself and waited for an employee. As a result, I tipped 0% for the first time in my life. On subsequent visits, it became a habit for me to get up and look for a waiter so that the order could be taken promptly. In my opinion, it is due to a clear and unequivocal understaffing of staff. Given the prices and the central location of the restaurant, I'm very surprised that there isn't enough turnover for a decent staff. Yesterday we ordered three pizzas and an appetizer by phone to pick up. I politely asked when we should be there and 20 minutes was appropriate. After a good 20 minutes we were greeted unexpectedly in the restaurant and realized that they hadn't even started with our order and that it now had to be finished as quickly and carelessly as possible. We should please wait at the car for another 20 minutes and then we would be picked up. After 25 minutes and no one picked us up, we went back to the restaurant and after asking again, waited another 10 minutes. Our three pizzas were wrapped and placed on the table and the starter was almost ready. In itself okay. There was a larger group there shortly beforehand and we showed understanding. While waiting for the appetizer, we took a hungry look at the pizza boxes and were really shocked. My pizza with broccoli, spinach and onions was half smaller than the norm and there were two “small” leaves of spinach, 4-5 “small” broccoli florets and a few onions on it. My friend's other pizza was prepared so carelessly that there were large pieces of vegetables in the box around the pizza and you were totally turned off. The last pizza was “okay” but also pretty foolproof with just tuna. After seeing it, I asked for the boss or manager and my attention was drawn to one of the waiters. I was at a loss for words and I didn't want to burden the young man so much. It was a clear picture of a team that was overworked and understaffed. Nevertheless, he unfortunately had to listen to my criticism and responded immediately in a courteous manner. He would put some more toppings on my pizza, put tons of spinach on the pizza and the second pizza was free. “Ok” we thought. On the way home the thought occurred to me: “When you have so much spinach leaves available. Why do you just put 2 small leaves on it from the start?" We were all really at a loss for words and the food wasn't particularly tasty either. For a good €40 we would have gotten the same quality and probably twice the quantity at the snack bar around the corner. And I find that very sad. A friend also had stomach problems this morning and was sent home by his employer. This is not how I run a successful restaurant and this is not how I treat customers. I would like to save other customers from that and also not have to experience that myself with a hungry stomach. “If we had preferred to go to Keuptstrasse...” were my friend’s words. And I recommend that to everyone given the current morale of Purino Cologne Mülheim. Best regards Nicolas Krutzinna

We had dinner there yesterday with a group of 5. It was busy at the beginning and the service (one person) didn't quite keep up, but was very friendly the whole time. Personally, I was disappointed with my salmon tartare starter. It doesn't taste like anything, the salmon was very roughly cut and some of the avocados were still hard. Main course with noodles and prawns was good, but very little prawns. The pizza is said to be very good. Unfortunately, the filled ravioli were only mediocre as they were not very seasoned. The atmosphere is cool, but the restaurant is in the middle of an old industrial area. Conclusion: Anyone who comes here to eat pizza will definitely not be disappointed, but unfortunately the dishes with homemade pasta are not convincing. But what is very good are the homemade oils. Garlic and chili. Very good. Nevertheless, I would give the restaurant another chance.

The waiter claimed that this is what risotto looks like (overcooked sticky rice) and that Parma ham in pizza does not resemble ham. Tasty drink

Been here for the second time. .. Once even with the “old-fashioned” parents who prefer the tried and tested (roast, liver, schnitzel). Everyone was thrilled! We look forward to the next visit

I would rate the food with a grade of 4, the service with a 5. Long waiting times, poorly organized. The menu ranges from confusing to disturbingly complicated. The creations are absolutely terrible, who eats something like that? There are plenty of parking spaces, but due to the completely destroyed paths to the restaurant, it's better to drive there with a Unimog or tank. In a normal car, potholes tear the axles completely out of the vehicle. My conclusion: once and never again 😵‍💫

We waited well over an hour for food with four small children. The dishes were carelessly prepared and half finished. The waiter also showered our daughter and her son with olives and oil. Really bad.

We were there on a Sunday with 4 people and unfortunately waited 2 hours for our food, despite it being moderately busy. Unfortunately, the portion size wasn't good in relation to the prices. The service staff seemed overwhelmed and was unfortunately very inattentive. We can't recommend it!

We celebrated our wedding here with 80 guests and couldn't have imagined it being more beautiful. The room looks great, the service was really perfect and so was the food. Some guests have already come up to us and praised the location highly. Another advantage is the location, which allows loud music while dancing without any problems and the child-friendly setting with a small playground on the terrace. We felt totally comfortable and would do it again at any time, thank you very much, dear Purino team!

Delicious food, nice decor and atmosphere. Only recommended!

My husband & I actually wanted to eat somewhere else on our wedding day, but ended up here because the other restaurant was unfortunately already closed. We were very impressed by the large selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes. We ordered and unfortunately we didn't get what we ordered. There was no fresh basil on the pizza, and the salad was missing several ingredients that were clearly declared on the menu. When we asked, we were told that deliveries had not arrived. Unfortunately, the rhubarb spritzer was just non-carbonated still water & the "homemade" lemonade tasted very artificially like strawberries & was served rather carelessly (I was expecting some mint or something similar, since "mint" was declared on the menu & the lemonade was like that didn't taste like mint at all). I was very upset that we weren't told this before we ordered. From a purely legal perspective, we could have returned the food and didn't have to pay anything. In the end they asked for the full price & probably even more (since I had added everything up beforehand). It's a shame that a price reduction wasn't even offered. For the price we paid, we could have eaten a lot better. Unfortunately we won't be coming again & can't recommend it.

I went to this restaurant for the first time following a recommendation and was very impressed. The drinks, food and service were great. I would happily recommend Purino.

Wow - we are still completely speechless. 3 weeks ago we celebrated our wedding at Purino and enjoyed the most beautiful, truest and warmest day of our lives. The Purino provided the perfect setting for our love. What an individual, colorful and hip location with an indescribably delicious buffet. It was all just fantastic, the people who work at Purino are absolute gems and everyone was just thrilled by the concept. Everyone always had enough drinks and the party lasted until the early hours of the morning. We are just grateful that there are still such honest and fabulous locations like Purino in Cologne.

So the “spritzer” was really just some syrup with tap water. it didn't even bubble! Really impossible for the price, so not even ice cubes or anything. Oh well! Pizza came very quickly, but the toppings were a bit careless. It was a stone oven pizza, so it had a nice crispy base, but that's the only thing going for it. We still found the principle of half/half pizza really cool. Our waiter only came to us very rarely and it took some time until we got the bill. It was okay, but the price performance is simply not clear.

A lovely evening at Purino. We felt very comfortable, the food was good as usual. The service was attentive and extremely friendly, especially Petru. We will be back!

The ravioli con fichi y formaggi were way too expensive. Over €15 for 6(!) ravioli. It was very tasty - but the portion size was uncomfortably small. The pasta with Gorgonzola and Spinacci had too little Gorgonzola and generally tasted very bland - but the portion size was very good. The waffle was again very small - but costs as much as a normal sized one elsewhere.

We came here spontaneously on a Sunday evening with 3 adults and a child. The inside was full, but there was still plenty of seating outside. We were greeted warmly, drinks were taken and served quickly. At the same time, we were informed that the meal would take approx. 45 minutes and that pizza cannot currently be ordered for internal reasons. So we decided on pasta. While we waited, our daughter was able to play in the sandpit outside. (Children eat and drink here for free up to a certain age and pay pro rata as they get older.) We then noticed from the surrounding tables that they had been waiting for over an hour for their food and had made their displeasure known. We didn't let it deter us at first. However, the staff remained objective and tried to find solutions calmly and sensibly, even though they were approached quite harshly by some customers. After we had waited for well over an hour, our food arrived, but one of the pastas was cold and one was delivered incorrectly. This was the case at several tables, resulting in total chaos. But here too, the staff reacted confidently and managed the situation. As compensation for my wrong pasta, I got a pizza and we were offered a price concession due to the inconvenience. The portion size as well as the quality and taste is very good. The restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. On a perfect day, this place is highly recommended for the great staff and food.

Unfortunately totally disappointed. We waited almost 1 1/2 hours for our food, service seemed overwhelmed, although from the feeling there should have been more than enough service staff on site. Unfortunately, we weren't the only ones who felt that way. Little by little, more and more people complained. It's a real shame because the food itself is quite good, even if after the long wait some of the toppings were missing from the pizza.

You felt very rushed. With the starter still on the table, the main course arrived. No time to waste. My husband was happy with his meal. I, on the other hand, rather moderately. Not to mention the cleanliness of the toilets. Very intense smell and the taps were anything but solid. It's a shame because it looked very promising. Probably won't come back.

Good restaurant in Cologne-Mülheim. We ordered pizza and were very satisfied (Pizza Tutto). I was particularly impressed by the thin base! I have to praise the service. The guys were very attentive, friendly and quick. Even though the store was full, service was smooth. Compliment!

We chose PASTAVENA from the special menu and unfortunately neither of us were convinced... the homemade oat cream sauce smelled and tasted strange. The service was fine.

We were here today for the first time, but certainly not the last! We were positively surprised by the good, absolutely great food. All ingredients were very fresh and tasty. Our service lady Conni was very friendly and accommodating! The restaurant is absolutely child-friendly! A clear recommendation!

The Purino impresses with a really beautiful interior and a pleasant ambience. However, the service standards here are extremely disappointing. Rude “main” service (no idea why only one waiter took orders), queries were answered rudely and laughed at. The fact that we waited over an hour for our order suggests that the service would have been even more diligent, but that cannot be assumed with a short visit to the table every half hour. We had to regularly wave the condition forward. We now have to wait more than 20 minutes for an Aperol. Numerous tables received their food before us even though they came later. In the meantime, 80 minutes have passed without eating. Simply bad & we can say that without having eaten anything. CONCLUSION - 120 minutes in the restaurant, we just ate and it was mediocre.

The food came very quickly and the selection was absolutely good. The atmosphere is really wonderful and simply different. The service was really good and very friendly. Can really be recommended. The parking spaces directly in front of the door are also practical.

This was by far the worst pizza that was ever delivered to me, not only was it very, very cold and tasted a disaster, but it was also the wrong one! I was so hungry that I forced myself a piece of this disgusting pizza because you can't reach anyone so that you can make amends for this obvious mistake. The rest ended up in the trash. Thanks.

Unfortunately, in my opinion, the Purino has really gone downhill. The ambience and service are still good, but unfortunately the food is no longer worth the price. The last time I was there was during my lunch break and had spaghetti aglio e olio with peperocino. Unfortunately I had to return it. Not only were the noodles overcooked, but the dish also had a garlic flavor or a hint of spiciness. There was no salt either. My colleagues all had similar problems and some of them returned their food. The salad with goat cheese for just under €14 is a real joke and is more like the size of a side salad. We used to go there often during our lunch break. That won't happen anymore for now. A pity…

Die Herausforderung dieses Restaurants ist die Lage. Dort befinden sich das Schauspiel Köln und einige Konzerthallen(Palladium, Carlswerk etc). Daher kommen - wie ich auch - zahlreiche Leute dort unter Zeitdruck um 18.00 herum essen. Das passiert täglich und daher muss man Respekt vor dem Personal haben, die das unter diesen Umständen regeln müssen. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war lecker(Pasta mit Rinderfiletstreifen), nichts zu beanstanden. Die Karte wurde im übrigen offenbar jüngst erweitert(Spezialkarte), aber die dortigen Dinge brauchen mehr Zeit und sind dann für Konzertbesucher ggf. weniger geeignet. Preise sind ok, nicht überteuert. Um sicher zu gehen, sollte man reservieren.

This is supposed to be Italian cuisine??? The fusilli were completely cooked, lifeless and tasteless. It has nothing to do with Italian cuisine!!!! The service was very friendly. But I wouldn't eat there again.

As a mother of a 3 year old daughter, I would like to praise the owner. During a short small talk I asked if a small play area was being planned, his answer put a smile on my face. I quote: under no circumstances should there be a play area here, the children should be able to move freely in the store and not be parked. This is a family restaurant and this includes children and they have the right to move around freely. Dear owner, you are definitely a man of honor in a society that is simply annoyed by children 💜

The truffle pasta was very tasty. There shouldn't be ham on the pasta, but otherwise great. If you order pizza there, ask for the garlic & chilli oil. This tastes great!

A very nice shop with a lot of selection! A nice surprise was how big the portion sizes were, not a hungry bite of pasta but a decent portion at a fair price that still tasted really great! The aioli dip as a starter is really impressive with the bread. Unfortunately, the spritzers we ordered were incredibly thin and very stale, so normal water would have done the trick... The service was relatively nice and quick. Would come again, but definitely drink something other than a spritzer.

The food tore it out. Both pizza and pasta were very good. Unfortunately, service was poor. We had to wait forever to place our order and were ignored several times by our waitress. Our complaint was only answered very harshly. In addition, there doesn't seem to be a clear division between waiters (taking orders) and jumpers (bringing orders). If everyone does everything, there will be chaos and delays. Among other things, you could tell that there was no trained staff. The atmosphere in the dining room is quite nice, but the toilets are a disaster! Faucets were hanging crooked, soap was broken and the rooms didn't seem to have been cleaned at least that day (we were there quite early). The place has potential and the food is good, but... We won't be coming back.

Pizza was OK but nothing special

We were there yesterday before a concert. I had reserved a table, but I was 20 minutes late. But we still got our table. Service was super good and quick. Vegetarian pizza and vegan pasta are highly recommended. I would eat there again and again. They also have a really great selection for vegetarians and vegans.
