Puana‘S Restaurant & Bar in Löningen

We were there with 7 men and first had an appetizer platter brought to us. It was so good and plentiful that neither of us could manage one more main course. We then ordered two platters for two people each and were wonderfully full afterwards and had countless delicacies. Thank you for so much variability! The service and ambience were also very good and the price was absolutely right. What more could you want?

Great food, very nice staff and a very nice atmosphere

Food at its best. It was very tasty and more than enough. Staff friendly and accommodating. I can only recommend it. Next time again.

So this restaurant is the definition of a wolf in sheep's clothing. Despite reservations, a waiting time of 1 hour and 15 minutes, which in principle wouldn't be dramatic, the order came with a mistake that they didn't want to fix at first. The problems continued when the food was half cold and the ribs are dry and fries are dry and cold because frozen goods can compete. The local is basically well designed but when it comes to prices and food, it's underground not again and not a recommendation

Today, September 23rd, 2024, I went to dinner with my wife at Puana'S Restaurant in Löningen for my 60th birthday. The food was unique and very, very good, there was also plenty to eat, we had flambéed steaks on a hot plate, so not flambéed because of smoke and smoke, with consideration for the guests "is understandable and understandable". I could fool myself, the food was so good. If there is anything left over from the food that you can no longer manage, the guest can pack it up to take away if desired. Thanks for the good and plentiful food to Chef H.... and the great staff. We ended the evening with a delicious red wine. Thank you for the lovely evening, greetings: dancing with the “Wolf”.

Cool restaurant. Meat, fish, snacks, drinks. There is everything you want. The basis of the menu is meat. Very tasty. The atmosphere inside is leather and wood. Pleasant and friendly staff. Super!!!

We shared the East Coast platter and had bruschetta first. Every piece of meat was extremely tasty! The burger was tip top! The onion rings can be compared to those from BK. The staff is great service oriented. He also likes to have a bite. Very friendly. Conclusion. Unfortunately I live in Schleswig Holstein. Otherwise I would be there more often. Would give more than 5 stars if I could! Big praise to the kitchen and the service staff! I will definitely come back and recommend you guys!

Me and my friend had dinner there yesterday and I had a hair in my food. I said so and got a new portion. I had the rest packed up and wanted to eat it now. They didn't make me new food as promised and as I thought since I just found my hair again while eating! They just slapped a ton of sauce on it and didn't even bother to take it out of the food, even though it was obvious. I'm really pissed off. It can always happen, but I've never experienced such a mess. Not worth a visit!!

Hello, This restaurant is great, the starter was infested with moss -> could be left out, it doesn't taste particularly good either😅 The noodles (93) tasted excellent and the icing on the cake was the service, they were a 10/10 very friendly and extremely charming☺️ Therefore recommended 👍🏻

The food is a delight especially the spare rips

We had made a reservation for several people with the desire to go outside, when we got there on time we were told there was no room available for us, no problem can happen, we thought, so we have about 15-20 minutes waited for a free spot. Nevertheless, when it came to ordering drinks, we were almost forgotten, or a waiter came very late to take us, our food was cold and wasn't served without any problems because here too there was no guarantee that something was ordered or that things weren't delivered taken into account. The only positive thing for us that evening was the great service from Tina, big praise, she made up for so much of our disappointment with her super friendly and open manner, rarely had such great service as you did, This lady would be the only reason for us to give it another chance.

It was very crowded for a Tuesday. We got a place without a reservation. Attention was very quick and the food was great. The steak was awesome.

The food tasted very good. The service is first class. The location is very, very nice and the whole atmosphere invites you to linger. Overall only recommended. The photo was taken because I didn't want to drink alcohol as a snack because I was there by car and had to drive. Since my companion shouldn't drink alone, according to the waiter, I got this syrup with a little mineral water as a shortening. Since we then got a second one and I told the waiter beforehand that it tasted a little like Sprite to me, he drank one with me and then showed me which syrup was served there so that I could get it too. Very accommodating and friendly. Great shop.

Unfortunately it wasn't good service today. We forgot something every time we went today. Once a starter, once a salad and then a main course. One thing can happen, but three? We also had to ask for cutlery... okay, the waiter was very friendly with the bill and also said that there was a worm in it today. 5 years ago everything was perfect. Now greatly diminished. Unfortunately, the tomahawk steak was not good at all and was served carelessly. For the price it was supposed to be medium as ordered, but it was rather over done.

Admittedly, I had to sleep through this review and it was difficult for me because I was speaking against the many 5 star reviews. The service staff certainly more than deserves the 5 stars, first of all, kudos to such courteous, friendly and helpful service ***** Ambience: OK outside, cozy inside. We sat outside and it was spacious with wooden tables. The floor (green carpet?) could have been much cleaner... Just sweep it regularly. Now to the most important thing this restaurant boasts about: the steak... I ordered an Irish entrecôte 11oz, 311g for an impressive €38.90 Of course medium/rare, as it should be. Plus fries instead of baked potatoes. The steak also came quite quickly, about a 20 minute wait. Before that, a really good, albeit small salad with a very tasty dressing was served. Now finally to the steak: The first cut was disappointing: medium/well done instead of medium/rare ..... The service exchanged the steak without any problems, of course again with a wait while my companion was already eating. The second steak came with the perfect degree of doneness, BUT: the piece had apparently briefly "kissed the pan" ICE COLD. No enjoyment, cold inside and the wonderful fat core, which the connoisseur is particularly looking forward to, was very cold and not grilled in the slightest, in other words: inedible. It actually should have gone back to the kitchen. For me, something like that doesn't work at all, the price-performance ratio isn't right at all. Regarding the drink prices, it should be said that they are completely exorbitant, it is no longer enjoyable. Unfortunately, this is now a general problem, but here it was particularly overpriced, it should be mentioned. All in all, I can only give the food here 2 stars because the steak made up the main part of the meal in terms of price (french fries were ok) A note about my companion's meal: Lamb crown at €36.90 What I saw and tasted was quite tender, but unfortunately cooked to death I'll definitely come back if the interaction fits: great quality meat and a chef who knows how to handle it

The food is good. But getting there takes time. Service employees do not approach you. You have to request everything yourself. For example, ask for drinks from the menu and place an order. Nobody comes there on their own

Dane tasted great and was super friendly

The service really made an effort, was quick and in a good mood. The food was okay, but nothing special. The burger was far too dry, hardly seasoned, and the fries weren't seasoned either. Everything is very bland. The portion size is sufficient. Regarding the ambience, you can say that it is very nice outside, but inside it is like a hall, which makes it unpleasantly loud. There are simply too many people who have to be “processed”. Unfortunately, the prices are far too high. A pity!

Were there on a Wednesday. We were greeted more than friendly and taken to our reserved table. The drink order went great and quickly. Our order was also taken upon delivery. I had “all you can eat” spare ribs. The replenishment was great, the bone practically fell out of the meat just by looking at it, it was so tender. Great, it didn't fit anymore, otherwise I would have had another helping. My wife had steak and salmon, they were cooked to perfection and she was more than thrilled. We then requested the invoice and received it relatively quickly. It's an incredibly great atmosphere and a large restaurant, but the service was quick and friendly. We give it a clear recommendation and we would be happy to come back.

I always find the food and service great. The staff is always very friendly (sometimes maybe a bit exaggerated and too many sayings, but I think it's just their mentality - better that way than incompetent and unfriendly staff). The outdoor terrace was very full on the last visit with great weather and therefore the delivery of drinks took a little longer than usual. With the terrace they have improved the ambience a lot. I like it :-)

The two of us ate here today. Or we're still sitting here right now. At the beginning we had a good impression because we were asked whether we wanted to sit with football or without football. We were regularly asked if we would like something more to drink and if everything was okay. Then after our espresso we were asked if we wanted more cookies, which of course I thought was great. Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was very tasty. I had ribs, my friend had burgers and it was really delicious. We didn't like the fries that much, but that's "just" the side dish and therefore not that bad for us. All in all, really great, we'd love to come back here and take a 45 minute drive.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They smile, and they treat you with much respect. The manager was very personable and handsome. The food was top-notch with delicious flavor. Our time at the restaurant was a great memory to bring back to Canada.

Had dinner there yesterday with my mom, very friendly, courteous staff, at least the people want to work there. Unfortunately you rarely see it anymore. The food was very tasty (we ordered a plate for two) and there were decent portions.

Three people were there on Friday. We were able to sit outside in the great weather. We were served quickly and friendly. The beer was cold & freshly tapped. The portions were large and really tasty. Had an Irish entrecôte that was very juicy. Overall, the quality of the food was great and it was really good value for money. The visit was really nice, the food was delicious and, as already mentioned, the service was super friendly. We'll definitely be back! 💪🏼

Were there for the second time on Saturday. On the first visit, in December, everything was great. Unfortunately this time it was bad, stale, tasteless mayo. Fries that weren't cooked, let alone crispy. Burger almost raw on the inside. My meat was good but overall it was very disappointing. What a shame!

So salty it makes your teeth grind

The restaurant comes very close to the North Sea; 2 salads and 3 steaks were ordered The cocktail we ordered was brought with a green pineapple. The mushrooms had a thick crust of salt crystals The salads consisted mostly of salt with chicken meat residue, a little oil and 2 lettuce leaves. The steaks themselves had a good consistency that looks similar to the North Sea. Watery and salty. The pepper sauce, if you can call it sauce. It was a jelly-like mass with a few peppercorns. Probably old Knoor sauce. The small bowl for a reasonable €6 The large water that was initially ordered was not brought instead a small one. The pepper jelly only arrived after we asked again. When asked whether the food was tasty, the shortcomings mentioned above were mentioned and skillfully ignored with a “I’ll pass it on.” The total human failure then asked twice if you didn't want to have the salt packed with steak residue. I assume this restaurateur in Bad Reichenhaller has good conditions. Unfortunately, I now have stomach pain and diarrhea because of all the salt. The food could also have come from the Cloppenburg salt cave. A big expensive disaster For so much money, 100€ for 1 steak and 1 salad and 100kg of salt, I have never eaten so badly.

The food was great! Very large portions for a good price. Due to the large number of guests, the service was quite busy, which put a lot of demands on them. Nevertheless, we were mostly kept under close watch. The ambience is appealing, but there was a lot of noise due to the large number of guests. Conversations are difficult to understand. What a great restaurant. My colleague and I stayed here for one night for work and we went to Puanas and it was more than worth it. Food was super tasty. The atmosphere is very nice and open. If I were on the corner again I would go there straight away.

I really can't complain about anything. Food was great, I've eaten in so many restaurants or steakhouses but never had a steak this good. Service seems to have been born for this profession, hospitality and service are very important to you. Unfortunately, it's only at very busy times that the food can no longer come to the table hot, but then there's really something going on. Otherwise I can only warmly recommend it.

The food at this restaurant was undoubtedly excellent. Every bite was a delight and the dishes were prepared with great care and taste. The quality and presentation of the food definitely deserves recognition. Unfortunately the staff was severely understaffed that evening, which resulted in a longer wait for food and drinks. It was frustrating that we had to wait so long for our orders. Although the experience was marred by the wait, I would like to emphasize that the food itself was excellent and worth waiting for. It is unfortunate that the staff could not provide the best service that evening. I hope the restaurant takes steps to ensure there are enough staff to keep things running smoothly in the future. If there had been enough staff it would have been 5 stars.

It just faded over time. The waiters are great, very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, this is only one point that can be praised. The quality of the meat has deteriorated very much. We really enjoyed ordering Cowboy Pike, it was simply delicious three years ago...now totally greasy and chewy. The price was just as exaggerated, at the time it was €26, then there was an increase to €29 about a year ago. Okay, everything is still okay, but now it has been raised again to over €30! For a “shish kebab skewer” that isn’t even prepared well anymore. A few days ago we tried it again & now the crowning moment came, FOOD POISONING…. I ordered a dish with pork and cut it... it was simply RAW inside. We complained that the plate came back into the kitchen and the same dish came back all mixed up. The meat was probably fried again. Then I ate it and then finished it. Now I'm lying here, I've vomited seven times last night and I can't get anything down. My partner also ate leftovers from my meat and is sitting next to me with vomiting and diarrhea. Puanas no thanks, we won't be coming back. A pity !!!!

First time on site and definitely not a second time. Ordered dish number 77 and got a coleslaw that tasted like nothing and dry spare ribs. Negative highlight €4.80 for a 0.33l glass bottle of Coke. Not even our Swiss neighbors are that hardened!

Essen, Service, Ambiente, einfach alles auf hohem Niveau! 🤌🏼 Selten bekommt man in einem Restaurant ein soo leckeres Essen. Waren schon ein paar Mal hier und wir waren jedes Mal begeistert. Nicht nur vom mega Essen, auch vom gemütlichen Ambiente und den gut gelaunten, freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Wir können hier alles empfehlen, was wir bisher hatten: Bruschetta, Zwiebelringe, Rinderfilet, Spareribs. Selbst der Salat vorweg und die Brötchen zu jeder Vorspeise sind besonders!

Das Essen war in Ordnung und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich. Jedoch finde die Preise unverschämt hoch. Für einen kleinen Pott Soße wird 6€ berechnet.. Für mich ein Grund nicht wieder zu kommen.

Und bedeken, wer den gebackenen Feta als Vorspeise wählt, nicht alleine bestellen , sonst hat es 2023 auch überzeugt. Waren mit 6 Personen da. Weiter so...

Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, man wartet nicht lange auf sein Essen oder die Getränke. Das Essen ist ausreichend und sehr lecker. Wir fühlen uns jedes Mal wieder wohl.

Wir waren grade bei Puana's essen. Leider war das Essen nicht gut. Mein Mann und ich hatten das gleiche essen und wir fanden es sehr schlecht. Nachdem wir gefragt wurden ob das Essen schmeckt und wir gesagt haben das es leider nicht schmeckt, wollte man es klären gehen. Aber es wurde einfach Tot geschwiegen!!! Das war leider das letzte mal das wir dort essen gehen.

Ein exzellentes American-Style-Restaurant mit eine vielfältige Auswahl an klassischen amerikanischen Gerichten wie Burger, Steaks, Chicken Wings und BBQ-Rippchen. Die Qualität der Zutaten, die Zubereitung der Speisen und der Service ist ebenfalls auf hohem Niveau. Eine gemütliche Atmosphäre mit passender Dekoration und Musik trägt ebenfalls zum Gesamterlebnis bei. Bis bald!
