Very nice and cozy place. Food was also really good and tasty too 🌟 staff were really welcoming and nice.

We went there spontaneously because there were sheltered seats outside in the sun. The benches have comfortable cushions and even blankets. My grandma was very happy about that. The service was great and the food delicious. The cost per person, including a drink, was just over €20. The oat milk latte macchiato is highly recommended ;)

Luckily, we got a table on the terrace. The weather was wonderful: sunshine, a gentle breeze, and it was just wonderful. The lady at the reception immediately smiled at us and assigned us a table outside. All the staff were very friendly.

The overall service was super good. We were brought to a table very quickly and the drinks and food arrived quickly. The quality of the drinks and food is outstanding. I have never had such a good Sarti. Keep it up :)

Super friendly staff. Soup and antipasti were great. The lasagna was a disappointment. Small portion (mainly sauces) you could not even taste the minced meat.

Simply great. We were there for the first time today, but definitely not the last time. I had spaghetti pesto and my husband had tuna pizza. Both very tasty. Super nice service, not a long waiting time. We'll be back ❤️

I was expecting a nice evening in an Italian restaurant and I discovered that there is nothing Italian here, starting from the carbonara with cream and ham (school canteen) and ending with the tiramisu with a thousand ingredients that have nothing to do with tiramisu. The starter and pasta lacked salt and flavor in general. I was very disappointed and am very amazed by the good reviews. I don't recommend it!

We sat outside and ate at the beginning of February. That went very well. The food came super quickly and the service was very friendly. Not exactly cheap.

We ordered a pasta dish and a pizza. Both failed, the food tasted really bland! The good reviews are incomprehensible to us. However, we didn't have to pay for the food and only had to pay for the drinks. However, the prices of drinks are also very high, 6.50 euros for a 0.4 cola is already a record. The store was extremely busy, which probably caused the quality to suffer greatly. We definitely won't be coming back…

Invited to a birthday dinner and had a really delicious meal. The restaurant is definitely on our list for Hamburg restaurants.

Great service, I had the Penne Melanese, not the best food. I have had the Bolognese before and it was amazing but the dish I had today was missing seasoning and the vegetables were cut way to big and almost raw. I could barely taste the Parmesan. Restaurant is honestly great but I wouldn't recommend the Penne Melanese.

The service was great, the online reservation went smoothly. It is very loud in the restaurant, but you can still sit there comfortably. The pizza was a bit “unseasoned”, it somehow lacked that certain something special.. The dessert was delicious - mousse au choco. :-) The prices are rather high, especially the drinks prices.

Nice place but not as good as all the Reviews show they all do it so so they can take a free expresso or a spoon of ice cream so it's some kind of a game to get good but fake reviews.

The two of us came here spontaneously on a Saturday evening and still got a table in the basement. I found the atmosphere very comfortable, if a bit loud, which was to be expected at that time. Very nice service and short waiting times and we also really enjoyed the food! Paid €65 for two people including wine and dessert. Gladly again!

Delicious pizzas! We had the Parma with arugula and salami. For dessert tiramisu or chocolate soufflé. Highly recommended. Fast and friendly service and beautiful interior.

I would only conditionally recommend this restaurant...very small, manageable portions. Taste is just average.. far too high prices reflecting the quality not reflected.

Everything was really cool and cordial

Very tasty and friendly for Hamburg and prices that are okay, you also have to look at what food costs at the counter. And employees also don't want to work for minimum wage. All in all, it's a really tasty shop that we can only recommend. And after all, being very tasty is always the most important thing.

I attended a corporate event at Prego Restaurant and really enjoyed the service. The waitresses Melissa and Sissy in particular were super friendly and attentive. Thank you for the lovely evening. I'd love to come back 👍👍

I had an amazing experience! One of the best Italian restaurantes in Hamburg!

We visited PREGO on 11.12.25 - I cannot recommend this place. The waiter was not welcoming and did not look us in the eye and gave us the feeling that we should eat quickly and thus leave the place quickly. We got a pasta dish with Italian herbs, vegetables and white wine sauce. The vegetables were the ones you buy in frozen bags - grated carrots, peas and broccoli - which far from lived up to expectations, which is why we did not finish eating. The price is far too high when compared to the quality of the food.

Without a reservation there is a bit of a wait on the weekend, but the service and food are, as always, excellent.

I do not recommend visiting. I ordered a plate of homemade antipasti. Apart from caramelized onions and a couple of mozzarella with tomatoes, everything else was not tasty, some without spices, some completely tasteless. Additionally, we ordered truffle fries. At first they brought it so over-salted that it was impossible to eat, she asked for a replacement, and they brought it without any salt at all. It costs 8€, it’s not clear at all why. Regular French fries that they sell at swimming pools. The only thing that was tasty was the raspberry lemonade with thyme. I paid 30€ for nothing.

The food was very tasty, it was well portioned and the service was very warm and friendly. Tagliatelle Messina is highly recommended.

Discriminatory jokes about celiac disease I actually heard a lot of good things about the restaurant and found the location to be very appealing from the outside. Both inside and outside there was a nice and warming atmosphere despite the current cold, drizzly weather in Hamburg. However, I am very disappointed with the staff and couldn't enjoy the ambience at all. Because of my celiac disease, I have to follow a very strict gluten-free diet. Unfortunately, contamination is often an issue and so I always have to ask the waitress whether something is gluten-free or not when there is no allergen food and drink menu in front of me. I'll be honest: I also find it super annoying, but I didn't choose my disability. Now I asked mulled wine whether it contains gluten, as not everyone knows that unfortunately wheat is sometimes added as a starch when preparing mulled wine. Instead of receiving a neutral answer, the employee reacted annoyed and I was confronted with unpleasant jokes. I didn't understand why the employee had to emphasize with an annoyed undertone that her colleagues had laughed at her over this question. In between, an employee came and made a joke about my gluten intolerance, which I found to be offensive. I didn't choose this disability and found the service overall to be very disgraceful. Overall I felt very uncomfortable. My friends were shocked by the staff's reaction to my question. I very much hope that a neutral attitude towards customers with disabilities and intolerances can be maintained in the future. They lost me as a customer after that evening.
