Preeda in Berlin

Horrid HORRID service. The bartender (presumingly) is on some high horse and for what…? Like ok, your drinks are good, but why are you so bitter? I understand the lunch rush hour maybe had something to do with this. Or he needs to examine some of his personal biases and treat people with a little more respect. So shines a good deed in this weary world. The first time I was here, I had such a lovely server. She was so cool! I don’t think I will be going back again.

Delicious food but very slow service.

Absolutely delicious! Great menu and excellent service. Fantastic cocktails. The Prenzlauer Berg Mule is a must-try. Highly recommended. Reservations are essential.

Very friendly service, great atmosphere in a very good location. The food tastes very good, but isn't really fancy compared to other places. Nevertheless, it tastes very good; I had the Devil Duck.

They refused to give us tap water.

Sad to say I have just been very ill from my Valentines Day dinner at Preeda. Beware the crunchy noodles. Friendly staff. Delicious cocktails. Cool vibes. Not worth the suffering from food poisoning later.

I was very happy after our valentine dinner but my wife was sick all night after we came home. Having go clean up after that makes me have to adjust my food rating sevely. The last thing you want from your once in a blue moon restaurant outing.

The seating was terrible, and there was no solution due to the crowds. We had to sit in a very unsafe spot, high up and without backrests, no comfortable concrete chairs/benches... and too many customers, they said. The staff was quite overworked due to the large number of customers. The lady at the entrance was rather curt, even though we had a reservation. They kept asking us what we wanted to order, and we hadn't had time to look; the lighting was too poor to read the menu. When clearing the table, sauce was spilled on our food! It was incredibly noisy and the acoustics were loud. There wasn't enough space to sit! It felt like we were being squashed together. A complete disgrace. I don't understand why this place is so highly praised; the food was too salty and lacked Thai flavor! Too expensive for what you get. For us, it was a big, dark, food shack with a bad atmosphere and unprofessional staff! Never going back, a huge disaster!

Modern and stylish with top-quality Asian cuisine; the pork belly, tacos, and paenang curry are amazing; quite loud and rather cramped during peak hours.

The best Thai restaurant in Berlin! Amazing! Everything is delicious in the menu. We come with my husband almost every month, whenever we want to have a date night and try everything on the menu. ❤️

Oh my God, it's 10:40 PM and I get kicked out, or rather, I'm told to pay my bill even though I was in the middle of a phone call, because the waitress was impatient and said she doesn't get paid overtime. The restaurant closes at 11:00 PM and there were still other guests inside. I was on a call, which I had to interrupt so I could pay by phone. I paid €85 for myself and was kicked out and told I didn't need to come back. I wanted to pay within the next five minutes after finishing my call. As a neighbor of the restaurant, I will never visit this place again. Simply unbelievable. I probably came once a month, usually with my partner. What a shame. This woman should be kicked out, or she should be paid more if guests stay longer... What a pity. I used to enjoy coming here. But not anymore! What a disgrace and terrible service from this woman. What a shame for the restaurant!

Amazing, every dish is a dream!

Preeda is the best! The food tastes like gourmet cuisine, very authentic and absolutely delicious. We eat there at least once a month. Even when we're considering eating somewhere else, we still prefer to come here because you simply can't beat this taste. During the week, they have a lunch menu where the food is very affordable and even includes a starter. The mocktails are also incredibly delicious and perfectly balanced. We think it's the best restaurant in Berlin so far, and we highly recommend it!

The food and the atmosphere there are great. We felt very comfortable. It was actually so busy that we had to wait a little longer to order our food. But the exceptionally friendly staff more than made up for it. Everyone there is really friendly.

Fantastic, authentic cuisine! I often vacation in Thailand and like to compare dishes there with those at Preeda – I always find that Preeda's is at least as good, often even better. Great decor, very, very friendly team, I simply feel very comfortable there and always enjoy bringing friends, business partners, and family.

The best Thai place I have been outside of Thailand! Word! I went with my family over the Christmas holiday, we all took different things and not only they all looked beautiful, but the taste was out of this world. All of us were extremely happy. We were also taken very good care of, the waiters were super nice and helpful. The interior design is also beautiful and modern, I am sure it would look very cozy for a dinner aperitivo (next time :)) I had a vegetarian Phanaeng curry (I am still dreaming of it!), which was very delicate and intense at the same time, the amount of peanut paste in it was exactly the right amount not to make it too heavy, veggies were fresh and the tofu was high quality. I definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to go back.

Exquisite Thai cuisine with fresh ingredients and herbs. The dishes are perfectly seasoned; everything is just right. The ambiance is also very harmonious, elegant, and modern. In summer, there are plenty of tables outside, but in winter, the tables near the entrance can be quite drafty due to the constant flow of guests and delivery drivers (Wolt, etc.). Parking is difficult in the Bötzow district, but the restaurant is easily accessible by public transport (M10, M4, bus 200).

I ordered the vegetarian "tofu or not tofu", and a virgin mule. The food is fantastic, especially the green sauce on the side! The staff is super friendly, the ambiance very easy going and relaxed.

Average lunch menu, friendly but somewhat sleepy service, modern atmosphere. No mistake coming here.

It was quite tasty, but charging an extra €2.80 for a fried egg without being informed and without it being listed on the menu isn't ideal. Had I known, I would have eaten the egg more slowly. Update: What also bothered me is that it seems as if critical reviews are systematically contested or removed through a law firm. This leaves me with a rather questionable impression of how honest feedback is handled.

Okay, the drinks are great, the food is great too. You might even be tempted to try Mexican tacos with a Japanese twist. Just be aware that the place gets packed during peak hours on Fridays and Saturdays, between 6 pm and 9 pm, and when everyone's talking, the acoustics can be a bit challenging.

The staff was very friendly and the appetizers were really delicious. Unfortunately, the tofu dish didn't quite win me over. The ambiance is lovely, although some of the benches are without backrests, which can be a bit uncomfortable. Overall, though, a very pleasant visit!

It was, as always, a culinary delight. Full marks, fantastic cocktails (like the Pornstar Martini). My highlight was the Flirty Fish (sea bream). Thank you for the excellent service.

I'm sorry to say that I didn't enjoy the food. The staff seemed a bit distracted at the time. They were probably busy with something. Some of the drinks were wrong, or maybe they weren't. I really enjoy Thai food and came here on a recommendation. But unfortunately... There was hardly any parking.

I was staying in West Berlin and found this restaurant to have lunch. It was a bit of a ride from my hotel but I was looking for something that was not in the heart of the tourist district where i was. What a great choice. Inside, the restaurant is beautiful and the staff is warm. All of that prepared me for what would be a truly wonderful meal. I ordered the Panang Curry with duck and it may have been the best duck I've ever eater. The skin was crispy and the meat was so moist and flavorful. The curry itself was delicious. To drink I had a "Love Me or Leave Me alone" which expertly balanced the gin with some fruity but not overly sweet flavors. It was refreshing and a perfect compliment to the meal. I'm excited to get the chance to return to Preeda!

Wow! An absolutely fantastic restaurant in the heart of Berlin. The service was exceptionally good. Best wishes to Nhari. It was a fantastic experience, and I felt incredibly comfortable. There was no wait, the food was prepared super quickly, and no request was denied. My insider tip: The chicken skin. I've rarely eaten anything so delicious.

As far as drinks are concerned, Anong is a solid 10/10 in terms of presentation and flavour. It's got a strong gin flavour with the right pinch of sweet and bitter. It's perfect. Wanderlust was a 8/10 on presentation but makes up for it in taste. As for food, I had a Seashore Noodles which was a 9.8/10. Seashore Noodles 9.8/10

Mediocre Thai. Too greasy, too salty and the vegetables are overcooked. Surprised at the good reviews. (Berliners need to get out more.) Even the staff seemed disinterested.

We had a very pleasant evening at Preeda. The service and kitchen staff were prompt and reliable, even on a Saturday night. The Flirty Fish was truly incredibly delicious and highly recommended. Even if the price is a bit daunting at first, the dish is easily shared due to its size and the rice it comes with. The tacos were also very tasty, but due to their portion size, they're more suitable as an appetizer. There are also some purely vegan and vegetarian options; classic dishes like Pad Thai can also be ordered with tofu. You don't have to worry about the spiciness; the dishes are adapted to the European palate. :) All in all, a very pleasant experience, but the price is a bit off. I will still be back.

We visited this fantastic Thai restaurant again during our visit to Berlin. And it was simply fantastic again. Since we were a group of six, we were able to try several dishes, and they were all delicious, and the service was very attentive and friendly. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside on a beautiful summer evening. I'm already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely recommend the restaurant.
