Preeda in Berlin

As far as drinks are concerned, Anong is a solid 10/10 in terms of presentation and flavour. It's got a strong gin flavour with the right pinch of sweet and bitter. It's perfect. Wanderlust was a 8/10 on presentation but makes up for it in taste. As for food, I had a Seashore Noodles which was a 9.8/10. Seashore Noodles 9.8/10

Mediocre Thai. Too greasy, too salty and the vegetables are overcooked. Surprised at the good reviews. (Berliners need to get out more.) Even the staff seemed disinterested.

The food is delicious and the place is nice, the only detail is that the waiters don't serve the table, they take a long time and have the face of hating their jobs.

We had a very pleasant evening at Preeda. The service and kitchen staff were prompt and reliable, even on a Saturday night. The Flirty Fish was truly incredibly delicious and highly recommended. Even if the price is a bit daunting at first, the dish is easily shared due to its size and the rice it comes with. The tacos were also very tasty, but due to their portion size, they're more suitable as an appetizer. There are also some purely vegan and vegetarian options; classic dishes like Pad Thai can also be ordered with tofu. You don't have to worry about the spiciness; the dishes are adapted to the European palate. :) All in all, a very pleasant experience, but the price is a bit off. I will still be back.

As always, it was a culinary delight. Full marks, great cocktails (here, the Pornstar Martini). My highlight was the Flirty Fish (sea bream).

We visited this fantastic Thai restaurant again during our visit to Berlin. And it was simply fantastic again. Since we were a group of six, we were able to try several dishes, and they were all delicious, and the service was very attentive and friendly. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside on a beautiful summer evening. I'm already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely recommend the restaurant.

We were there for dinner for a team event. The decor of the rooms is very appealing. The food was delicious – I like to travel to Thailand often and am a big fan of Thai cuisine anyway. The service was also friendly. I can absolutely recommend it.

Preeda is a gem in Berlin. Their tacos are not your usual taco go-to, and that’s exactly why you should try the entire menu. This has become a regular date night spot for us!

Was very tasty! We were there early in the evening and the store was already busy. Nevertheless, we managed to get a seat without any problem and the service staff did their job really well. The food was wonderful – we had the Paneang Curry and the Devil Duck. The dishes arrived at just the right time: not too quickly that you would suspect instant food (even though they didn't taste like that anyway and fresh ingredients were used), but not too late that you would be famished when the food was served. Both were beautifully prepared and perfectly seasoned. The cocktail menu is also great - thanks to the combination of description and pictures, you knew immediately what you were getting (and the pictures are really realistic, unlike many other places). The ambience was also convincing: the tables are not too close together so you don't feel cramped, and the furnishings and decoration are harmonious and stylish. All in all a great evening – would love to come again!

We had the pleasure of visiting Preeda last weekend and we have nothing but positive things to say about it! The ambience is modern and inviting, giving a pleasant feeling when entering the restaurant. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Big compliments to Duc our waiter that evening. His service was friendly and confident. He took the time to advise us on our choice of food and his recommendations were really great. The menu offers a selection of Thai dishes that are freshly prepared. But be careful, the spiciness there is not for the faint of heart. The Flirty Fish was particularly recommended! Duc described the dish as a flavor explosion and he wasn't exaggerating. The presentation of the food was particularly impressive and rounded off the entire experience. The price is a bit higher but the experience is worth every cent. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Been here again. Still a friendly, fast and attentive service. Here we really cook with a lot of fresh ingredients. Also with real Thai ones like water chestnuts and snake beans. At least it's on the menu. 😀 No, it was really tasty again. See you next time. The business lunch at lunchtime during the week is also highly recommended. Starter and main course for under €15. With fresh ingredients. It's delicious and filling. The quality is just as good as the evening menu.

Highly recommended. Cocktails are great. Portions are served big. If you go there for drinks, appetizers would be enough. If you skipped lunch and eating out for dinner then the main dishes would be perfect. Food was served pretty quickly and ambiance is cozy.

Fusion of Thailand and Mexico? Hard to imagine but it works excellently in the Preeda! We ate our way exclusively through the appetizers and it was perfect. Well balanced, fresh and tasty. The chicken skin, the skewers (thai) as well as tacos and cheviche (mex) are particularly recommended!

The Thai cuisine was fresh and tasty and the atmosphere of the place was welcoming and cozy. I would particularly like to highlight our waiter Duc, who provided us with excellent service. He was attentive, friendly and gave us very good advice when choosing dishes. Whether it was the drinks or the food, he confidently and in his friendly manner recommended his favorites to us. This evening was a completely successful experience. Overall, I can only recommend Preeda if you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

this is my fav restaurant :) best Pad Thai in Berlin! The drinks are always amazing as well as the owner of the place. She is an absolute gem that will do anything for her guest to make them feel good.

I ordered a Psycho prawn soup, which, as stated on the menu, was supposed to contain scallops, mussels and prawns, but of the latter I could barely find a couple. Then, as I had a cough, I asked for a glass of tap water, as the food was quite spicy and increased my cough (of course, I had already ordered a drink, but there was no more). The waiter told me that the manager had made it a rule not to serve tap water. I am not questioning the law itself, but rather the code of ethics that a restaurant should not deny a glass of tap water when necessary. I am sure I will receive a response from the manager reiterating the rules (as I have seen in other reviews), but to me such an action says more than I need to hear. Ps: certainly not the best Thai food in town and definitely overpriced.

Eating in this restaurant is a real experience – something really different! Each dish was not only incredibly delicious, but also creative and extraordinary. The location was also very nice and was perfect for our anniversary. What made the evening even more memorable was our waiter Duc. He was incredibly personable, attentive and impressed us with his recommendations. We laughed a lot and had a really good time. The service was perfect and the entire atmosphere was just awesome. An all-round great experience that I can only recommend to everyone. We'll definitely be back!

I ordered here and was unfortunately very disappointed. I was recommended the restaurant and expected very good food. Unfortunately, the curry was nothing special and there were no fresh vegetables at all. Just some kind of potato and a piece of pumpkin. The drinks are also a bit overpriced. Maybe I was just unlucky today, but unfortunately that wasn't the case this time.

Ive been to this place quite a few times already, its a great place to take friends visiting in town, the food is amazing, I've tried all of their dishes at this point and seriously none of them fall short, there is a good mix of vegan selections as well, and they have an interesting selection of cocktails, obviously it's Friedrichshain so the place can get really full at times, which can get loud and the service to take a while, but the place is also really cozy to sit and chill in

I wish I could give more stars as the staff was very friendly and the service good overall but I got disappointed by the food. Our dishes were ok, too oily and very basic, nothing special and not worth 18-24€. I don’t think the prices are justified and the portions were quite small. According to the price, we were definitely expecting more than just 4 shrimps for the gambas dish. 😅 I also payed 18€ for one raw/rubbery oyster mushroom and a few other uncooked peas and paprikas, which I find quite unfair. The vegetables were very european and not even properly cooked. All the dishes were too westernised, as if they tried to add a bit of asian sauces and spices on a German dish. Also nothing was spicy at all, as mentioned in the menu.. everything was plain. 😕 I think they tried to too hard to appear stylish with their fancy cocktails and plate arrangement but forgot about the main thing: the taste 😅

Summary: home delivery of way too spicy food, quite a pity, it would be well-seasoned, but it is so spicy that all of your attention is drawn to this „flavor“ Best dish: none yet Dishes (- negative / = ok / + positive): - pad krha pao: way too spicy, even though I opted for little spicy; quite a pity as the flavor is generally good but it was so spicy i could barely eat it, my wife and a friend couldn’t - panaeng curry: same as above; there is a peculiar twist not traditionally seen in Thai kitchen, it is with pumpkin, which actually tasted good; nice crispy chicken = pad Thai: was ok, the spicing wasn’t well-rounded and I will not rate the noodles as it is a difficult dish for delivery, the rice noodles generally get a bit soggy in the delivery ware and they did Service: = na, home delivery, packaging was good Price: + fair price for value Atmosphere: NA, home delivery My rating system - I focus on the food first and foremost. For me, by far the best Pad Thai in town. The ambience looks great and every dish we've had so far has been a culinary delight. There are also really delicious cocktails. So everything you need for a good evening with friends. See you next time!

Food was terrible for 23 euros for fried fatty foods Duck with hard, unseasoned beans and rice doesn't work at all

The appetizers were great, I really liked and expected a lot for the main course, however the main course was kinda disappointing. I ordered the duck and the food didn’t look really appealing, just duck, brown sauce and some asparagus like the photo, the duck’s flavor was really strong (a bit stinkishhhh, I have eaten duck in a lot of places even western and asian restaurants, never taste like this), the portion rice was mixed between the normal rice and sticky-sweet rice, which was kinda weird. The employees were really nice, service was good. In general, the food could be better tho

We were there for a little taco snack in the evening and it was really tasty!! The waitress was super friendly and recommended the Thai iced tea with condensed milk, which we really enjoyed.

Het volgende restaurant dat we in onze nieuwe tijdelijke verblijfplaats hebben uitgeprobeerd en wat nadien een voltreffer bleek te zijn. Meer dan dertig jaar ben ik vertrouwd met de Thaise keuken. Veelal blijven de meesten bij d gekende gerechten. Anderen durven zich dan te wagen aan de mindere gekende gerechten van deze rijke eetcultuur. En weer andere hebben tenminste het lef om op een hedendaagse manier creatief aan het werk te gaan met hun thuiskeuken. We hadden hierin al enkel sublieme ervaringen zoals ooit in Parijs. Nu kan dit restaurant mee opgenomen worden in dit lijstje. Zo wordt er er gehopt tussen andere Aziatische keukens maar ook richting Zuid-Amerika voor fijne 'cross overs'. Hoe heerlijk was het krokante kippenvel in een saus op basis van tamarinde. Maar ook de andere voorgerechten als het buikspek, de octopus en garnalen kregen een hedendaags jasje aangetrokken. De porties waren ruim voldoende dat wij met twee voldoende hadden gegeten. De bestelling gaat vlot en is zeer vriendelijk. Ik kan enkel de mensen in de keuken bedanken, want door ligt de basis van het succes. Geen lange wachttijden, maar een goede mis-en-place. Was zo verrast door de snelheid in vergelijking met andere restaurants, dat je in eerste instantie vragen begint te stellen, die bij de eerste hap direct verdwijnen. Ook de cocktails zijn eigentijds en goed in uitvoering. En als je dan nadien de rekening krijgt, dan wordt je er alleen maar vrolijker van. Zeer betaalbare en meer dan correcte prijzen. Als ze dit niveau kunnen aanhouden, dan kom ik hier met veel plezier terug.

I was visiting Berlin from LA & never had such amazing dining experience at a local thai restaurant. This place is top notch with their food quality and professional staff. The flavors were on point. Fresh ingredients used. And I can't wait to go back!!!!

Even tho I have been there a few times for the pad thai, this time I have been told that they do not serve tap water, therefore the only option is to pay 5 or more euros for a bottle of still water. As far as I know, it’s not legal to now serve tap water upon request, therefore this is really disappointing from you. I hope this changes as not everyone just acts with an online review.

Great Thai/ Vietnamese fusion kitchen. The flirty fish is probably the best item they have on the menue. The appetizers are great to share and each one of them is a gem in itself. There are plentt of vegetarian and vegan options to chose from as well!

The Preeda is a place where you feel comfortable. The food is really tasty and the cocktails are very creative. The staff is very accessible to everything, they are always open to requests. You can sit very comfortably inside, but also outside.

In the evening we were strolling around Bötzowstrasse looking for a place to eat and we came across this restaurant. I found the dish “Basil Bomb” not necessarily authentically Thai and a bit bland. The staff doesn't understand Thai. The price-performance ratio is set a little higher. Nice, modern atmosphere.

My colleague and I each had a rotten piece of tofu in our dinner. My comment on this was received with a shrug. Even after repeated requests, nothing was changed in the kitchen. There was no discount either. Given the turnover, it is absolutely incomprehensible to serve rotten food.
