Great restaurant, thank you for the lovely evening 🙌🏽 We recently had the pleasure of eating at Preeda Restaurant and it was a truly amazing experience. The Thai cuisine was fresh and tasty and the atmosphere of the place was welcoming and cozy. I would particularly like to highlight our waiter Duc, who provided us with excellent service. He was attentive, friendly and gave us very good advice when choosing dishes. Whether it was the drinks or the food, he confidently and in his friendly manner recommended his favorites to us. This evening was a completely successful experience. Overall, I can only recommend Preeda if you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

this is my fav restaurant :) best Pad Thai in Berlin! The drinks are always amazing as well as the owner of the place. She is an absolute gem that will do anything for her guest to make them feel good.

I ordered a Psycho prawn soup, which, as stated on the menu, was supposed to contain scallops, mussels and prawns, but of the latter I could barely find a couple. Then, as I had a cough, I asked for a glass of tap water, as the food was quite spicy and increased my cough (of course, I had already ordered a drink, but there was no more). The waiter told me that the manager had made it a rule not to serve tap water. I am not questioning the law itself, but rather the code of ethics that a restaurant should not deny a glass of tap water when necessary. I am sure I will receive a response from the manager reiterating the rules (as I have seen in other reviews), but to me such an action says more than I need to hear. Ps: certainly not the best Thai food in town and definitely overpriced.

Great food, lots of spices that we love, simply delicious. And then there are the great cocktails, just totally successful. Always my pleasure. This Saturday again. Full recommendation.

Eating in this restaurant is a real experience – something really different! Each dish was not only incredibly delicious, but also creative and extraordinary. The location was also very nice and was perfect for our anniversary. What made the evening even more memorable was our waiter Duc. He was incredibly personable, attentive and impressed us with his recommendations. We laughed a lot and had a really good time. The service was perfect and the entire atmosphere was just awesome. An all-round great experience that I can only recommend to everyone. We'll definitely be back!

I ordered here and was unfortunately very disappointed. I was recommended the restaurant and expected very good food. Unfortunately, the curry was nothing special and there were no fresh vegetables at all. Just some kind of potato and a piece of pumpkin. The drinks are also a bit overpriced. Maybe I was just unlucky today, but unfortunately that wasn't the case this time.

Ive been to this place quite a few times already, its a great place to take friends visiting in town, the food is amazing, I've tried all of their dishes at this point and seriously none of them fall short, there is a good mix of vegan selections as well, and they have an interesting selection of cocktails, obviously it's Friedrichshain so the place can get really full at times, which can get loud and the service to take a while, but the place is also really cozy to sit and chill in

I wish I could give more stars as the staff was very friendly and the service good overall but I got disappointed by the food. Our dishes were ok, too oily and very basic, nothing special and not worth 18-24€. I don’t think the prices are justified and the portions were quite small. According to the price, we were definitely expecting more than just 4 shrimps for the gambas dish. 😅 I also payed 18€ for one raw/rubbery oyster mushroom and a few other uncooked peas and paprikas, which I find quite unfair. The vegetables were very european and not even properly cooked. All the dishes were too westernised, as if they tried to add a bit of asian sauces and spices on a German dish. Also nothing was spicy at all, as mentioned in the menu.. everything was plain. 😕 I think they tried to too hard to appear stylish with their fancy cocktails and plate arrangement but forgot about the main thing: the taste 😅

Summary: home delivery of way too spicy food, quite a pity, it would be well-seasoned, but it is so spicy that all of your attention is drawn to this „flavor“ Best dish: none yet Dishes (- negative / = ok / + positive): - pad krha pao: way too spicy, even though I opted for little spicy; quite a pity as the flavor is generally good but it was so spicy i could barely eat it, my wife and a friend couldn’t - panaeng curry: same as above; there is a peculiar twist not traditionally seen in Thai kitchen, it is with pumpkin, which actually tasted good; nice crispy chicken = pad Thai: was ok, the spicing wasn’t well-rounded and I will not rate the noodles as it is a difficult dish for delivery, the rice noodles generally get a bit soggy in the delivery ware and they did Service: = na, home delivery, packaging was good Price: + fair price for value Atmosphere: NA, home delivery My rating system - I focus on the food first and foremost. I aim to be truthful and try not to be biased by friendly service or other circumstances. 5*: excellent - I am rigorous in handing out 5* ratings 4*: good 3*: ok 2*: bad 1*: terrible

Loved this place. There were four of us, we ordered drinks, appetizers, main courses, and desserts - everything was great. The black pepper beef, flirty fish, and Ped Preeda (duck) were standouts. Definitely would come back.

Good Thai/fusion restaurant. I really liked their “better than boyfriend” entry Their cocktails are also varied and their green curry was also not bad. The pad thai didn't convince me. Neither does mango sticky rice (mango too ripe)

For me, by far the best Pad Thai in town. The ambience looks great and every dish we've had so far has been a culinary delight. There are also really delicious cocktails. So everything you need for a good evening with friends. See you next time!

Food was terrible for 23 euros for fried fatty foods Duck with hard, unseasoned beans and rice doesn't work at all

The appetizers were great, I really liked and expected a lot for the main course, however the main course was kinda disappointing. I ordered the duck and the food didn’t look really appealing, just duck, brown sauce and some asparagus like the photo, the duck’s flavor was really strong (a bit stinkishhhh, I have eaten duck in a lot of places even western and asian restaurants, never taste like this), the portion rice was mixed between the normal rice and sticky-sweet rice, which was kinda weird. The employees were really nice, service was good. In general, the food could be better tho

One of the few truly authentic Thai restaurants in the city, with great quality food and service. In my opinion the best restaurant in Berlin for a wonderful evening with friends with fantastic food and great drinks!! I can only recommend everyone to spend an evening at Preeda.

We were there for a little taco snack in the evening and it was really tasty!! The waitress was super friendly and recommended the Thai iced tea with condensed milk, which we really enjoyed.

Het volgende restaurant dat we in onze nieuwe tijdelijke verblijfplaats hebben uitgeprobeerd en wat nadien een voltreffer bleek te zijn. Meer dan dertig jaar ben ik vertrouwd met de Thaise keuken. Veelal blijven de meesten bij d gekende gerechten. Anderen durven zich dan te wagen aan de mindere gekende gerechten van deze rijke eetcultuur. En weer andere hebben tenminste het lef om op een hedendaagse manier creatief aan het werk te gaan met hun thuiskeuken. We hadden hierin al enkel sublieme ervaringen zoals ooit in Parijs. Nu kan dit restaurant mee opgenomen worden in dit lijstje. Zo wordt er er gehopt tussen andere Aziatische keukens maar ook richting Zuid-Amerika voor fijne 'cross overs'. Hoe heerlijk was het krokante kippenvel in een saus op basis van tamarinde. Maar ook de andere voorgerechten als het buikspek, de octopus en garnalen kregen een hedendaags jasje aangetrokken. De porties waren ruim voldoende dat wij met twee voldoende hadden gegeten. De bestelling gaat vlot en is zeer vriendelijk. Ik kan enkel de mensen in de keuken bedanken, want door ligt de basis van het succes. Geen lange wachttijden, maar een goede mis-en-place. Was zo verrast door de snelheid in vergelijking met andere restaurants, dat je in eerste instantie vragen begint te stellen, die bij de eerste hap direct verdwijnen. Ook de cocktails zijn eigentijds en goed in uitvoering. En als je dan nadien de rekening krijgt, dan wordt je er alleen maar vrolijker van. Zeer betaalbare en meer dan correcte prijzen. Als ze dit niveau kunnen aanhouden, dan kom ik hier met veel plezier terug.

I was visiting Berlin from LA & never had such amazing dining experience at a local thai restaurant. This place is top notch with their food quality and professional staff. The flavors were on point. Even tho I have been there a few times for the pad thai, this time I have been told that they do not serve tap water, therefore the only option is to pay 5 or more euros for a bottle of still water. As far as I know, it’s not legal to now serve tap water upon request, therefore this is really disappointing from you. I hope this changes as not everyone just acts with an online review.

The Preeda is a place where you feel comfortable. The food is really tasty and the cocktails are very creative. The staff is very accessible to everything, they are always open to requests. You can sit very comfortably inside, but also outside.

Great Thai/ Vietnamese fusion kitchen. The flirty fish is probably the best item they have on the menue. The appetizers are great to share and each one of them is a gem in itself. There are plentt of vegetarian and vegan options to chose from as well!

In the evening we were strolling around Bötzowstrasse looking for a place to eat and we came across this restaurant. I found the dish “Basil Bomb” not necessarily authentically Thai and a bit bland. The staff doesn't understand Thai. The price-performance ratio is set a little higher. Nice, modern atmosphere.

My colleague and I each had a rotten piece of tofu in our dinner. My comment on this was received with a shrug. Even after repeated requests, nothing was changed in the kitchen. There was no discount either. Given the turnover, it is absolutely incomprehensible to serve rotten food.

Ordered pad thai, som tam salad and devil's duck. All dishes were deliciously prepared, very friendly and attentive staff, beautiful interior! The cooks here are Thai, I think that's why all the flavors of the dishes are observed and the right spices are added. We paid about 60€ for two people

The Anong (lavender cocktail) was very yummy and strong.For starters we had the chubby prawn wontons and crispy prawn tacos , both were really good with prawns being quiet literally chonky. The mains were a miss for us. The desert : mango sticky rice was nice too. Service was good but slow, especially on weekends. I would definitely come back here to try more of their cocktails and starters

I think it’s probably one of the best Asian restaurants in the city. Very unique interior and vibe. Really amazing cocktails! Food is top quality too. You pay a bit more but totally justified. Nice place for a date :)

We asked if we can get tap water while ordering, not thinking much about it. The waiter replied that you can get "filtered water for 2€ only". I asked if he is serious, he was. We were about to order 70€ worth of food and drinks for two people. One cocktail is 13€ here. At this price level you don't haggle with your customers, you serve water by default — it's not about the price, it's about service quality. The passive aggressive response this review received tells you about this business's policy and service.

Absolutely delicious, thought the portion sizes would be small but they were very generous. One of the best meals I've had in Berlin! £43 for 2 course meal with a glass of wine, great value.

Service was abysmal, food was mediocre. Examples: - My friend asked the waitress a question about her drink and the waitress didn't know how to answer the question and, instead of saying she didn't know, treated my friend like an idiot for asking the question. - Then I asked the waitress if the "cookie tea" was sweet and the waitress glared at me. She told me it was "regular" tea and wasn't sweet, and that it didn't taste like anything. I was very confused because the menu specifically said "cookie tea" and she didn't understand why I would think it's sweet... Food was very very very average. Overpriced for the quality. Service staff seem like they truly hate their lives and despise their clientele who ask them any questions. If you want to spend money to be treated poorly then Preeda is definitely the place to go.

Extremely greasy food and sticky noodles. There was so much oil in the food that you could fry fries in it. Unfortunately, at the end came the stomach pains. It wasn't always bad, but it got significantly worse.

Preeda is not only a very atmospheric and stylish restaurant but it also knows how to impress with its food. Both in terms of presentation and taste. When it comes to the size of the portions, they are also optimal; you neither feel oversaturated nor as if there was too little. The service is pleasantly friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere is chic, the preparation of the food, the dishes and the decoration were all top notch. The waiter who served us was also very nice. The food was okay, but not something that blew you away. The tacos were delicious, the taste of spicy and sweet came through. We also ordered Flirty Fish and Pad Thai, but we were disappointed with the quantity. The sea bream was very small and cost €25. The Pad Thai for €17 was just noodles and tofu and a few prawns. For me, bean sprouts, peanuts, etc. were missing. Nevertheless, the food was delicious - but one star deducted because it was quite expensive and with a bill of €100 for two of us we weren't exactly full.

The staff was super nice and the food was AMAZING! I’ve seriously never had better Thai food (and I’ve had a lot). I ordered basil bomb (with egg) and my partner had Yam yam. They both had two chilis in spice level and it was actually spicy, so that was really nice as well. Sometimes it says it’s spicy but it isn’t at all (I mean Europeans are wimps so I get it) but here they deliver! Love it! Wow! Can’t recommend enough!

So I will agree that the atmosphere and service were good. No complaints there, absolutely lovely However the food is awful and tacky. It’s written off as “fusion” it’s literally fried chicken in a tortilla for way too much money. I didn’t have anything there that blew my mind. It was either bad or ok and the bill was a joke at the end for what I ate. The drinks are good but you can get good drinks at most good restaurants in berlin. I went here because it was so hyped and I heard so much, I’m happy I went so I don’t have to come back.

I cannot count the number of times I’ve been here in the last 3 years. This is by far my favorite place in Berlin. Tasty Thai food (both classic and more contemporary dishes), great service and top-notch drinks which makes it also a great venue for evenings with friends. Everything I listed never disappoints. Stopped in with my parents today on Sunday around 12:30 p.m. Absolutely super friendly service. Food great. Drinks top. Modern furnished. It's hard to understand why people complain about the prices here. If it's too expensive for you, then you just leave. Especially since it's not too expensive for Prenzlauer Berg conditions (and in comparison). Starters cost between 5 and 15 euros. Main courses between 17 and 25 euros. Good Thai Experience in recent times. Me and My Partner went for lunch and the ambience was welcoming. Service is warm and pleasant. Menu is simple and unique. The offer quite a number of fancy cocktails as well. The cocktails are really refreshing. The shrimp taco is simply delicious. Chubby Chilli is also a flavourful bite. The mains are good portions, pad thai is good. The Devil duck is cleanly fried and can go well by itself.

Service and the atmosphere is quite nice, unfortunately not enough vegetarian, vegan options in the menu. Things we ordered were tasty but not too special, I thought. (also beware: the papaya salad is SPICY as hell 🥵)

I get food delivered all the time from them. The food tastes good and is quite authentic (I've spent many years living in South-East-Asia). Would highly recommend.

Restauranten ligger på et sted, hvor der ofte er blevet skiftet ud, det er et stor sted, så huslejen er vel høj. Nå det var middagen, der skulle anmeldes. Jeg fik suppe, White wonder, til forret og To-fu or Not To-fu til hovedret. Suppen var mild og let krydret og jeg fik den med kylling. Der var rigeligt til den kan fungere som hovedret. Hovedretten var en perfekt blanding af krydret og sød, sødt til tofu. Eneste klage et at der var få asparges i retten.
