Poseidon Baldham in Vaterstetten

Der Poseidon-Teller war sehr gut. Service nicht schlecht, war aber auch schon besser. Die Toiletten haben ihre beste Zeit schon hinter sich (wahrscheinlich so vor 20 oder 30 Jahren), aber immerhin sauber.

Essen, Service und Ambiente ist sehr gut

vor circa zwei Wochen war ich in diesem Restaurant, und habe nach dem Essen gefragt welches 6,50 € kostet. Tatsächlich gibt es kein einziges Essen ab 6,50 €, das günstigste ist 9,50 €. Ich habe den Besitzer gesagt dass das Schild demzufolge dort nicht sein darf. Tatsächlich hängt das Schild aber immer noch da. Deshalb meine negative Bewertung

Pseudo-griechisches Restaurant. Die Zucchini nach griechischer Art waren erschreckend schlecht. Die Tarama, die ich bestellt hatte, wäre gut gewesen, wenn sie nicht versalzen gewesen wäre. Ich bat darum, das Brot mit der Tarama zu toasten, aber das sei nicht möglich. Das Bier war sehr gut.

Wir waren an einem Samstag Mittag. Wir sind draußen im Biergarten gesessen da das Wetter wirklich schön war Es waren insgesamt mit uns drei Tische besetzt. Wir hatten eine Vorspeisenplatte mit verschiedenen griechischen Spezialitäten geschmacklich hat mich keines der verschiedenen Tipps wirklich überzeugt wirklich gut gewürzt war keines von allen Als Hauptspeise hatten Wir verschiedene Gerichte unter anderem hat ich das Bifteki mit metaxasoße. Das Gericht kam in einer Schale mit Käse überbacken und ist dermaßen im Öl ertränkt worden dass ich den ganzen Tag einen Klumpen im Magen gespürt habe. Geschmacklich war es okay aber nichts besonderes. Die anderen Gerichte waren okay aber nicht wirklich überzeugend so dass man noch mal kommen sollte. Was am schlimmsten war war der Service. Es standen vier Kellner gelangweilt rum und keiner kam vorbei und hat gefragt ob wir noch was zu trinken haben wollen obwohl unsere Gläser leer waren. Der Anzahl der Kellner und der Anzahl der besetzten Tische hätte eine Eins zu Eins Betreuung stattfinden können. Noch eine Anmerkung : Die Speisekarte war schmuddlig und sollte gereinigt werden. Das Lokal liegt neben dem Bahngleis und man hört die lauten Züge am Biergarten vorbeifahren. Wie würden nicht mehr kommen.

Sind seit mehreren Jahren (20 Jahre) Kunde und leider nimmt die qualität des Service in den letzten Jahre stark ab... Es wird nicht nach neuen bestellungen gefragt zwecks getränke und man fühlt sich nicht willkommen und nur geduldet und nein es war nicht überfüllt oder zu viel zu tun, leider ein stammlokal verloren. Essen trotzdem gut!

Heute war der Geburtstag meines Schwiegervaters und wir haben in diesem Restaurant gefeiert. Es ist wunderschön und gemütlich, das Essen ist köstlich und der Service ist ebenfalls hervorragend. Es war ein sehr schöner Familienabend. Ich kann es daher wärmstens empfehlen. 😉👍

Wir waren kürzlich im Poseidon in Baldham und hatten einen rundum gelungenen Abend. Das Ambiente ist sehr angenehm – hell, großzügig und mit einem schönen Wintergarten, der sofort ein mediterranes Gefühl vermittelt. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und vor allem schnell. Getränke und Essen kamen zügig, ohne Hektik – genau richtig. Vorweg gab es einen frischen Salat, der wirklich überzeugt hat: knackig, gut abgeschmeckt und ein perfekter Start. Als Hauptgerichte hatten wir eine griechische kalte Vorspeisenplatte, einen Gyrosteller und den Poseidonteller. Alles war schön angerichtet und geschmacklich typisch griechisch. Besonders die Vorspeisenplatte ist ideal zum Teilen und bietet eine tolle Auswahl an klassischen Meze. Insgesamt ein sehr solides, authentisches griechisches Restaurant mit gutem Essen, angenehmer Atmosphäre und einem Service, wie man ihn sich wünscht. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen Tisch im Wintergarten. Seltsam war schon, dass an einem Sonntag um halb eins mit uns nur drei Tische besetzt waren. Wir bekamen einen Ouzo aufs Haus, Essen und Getränke kamen schnell. Wir hatten Vorspeise und von Fleisch über Fisch. Das Essen war keine große Offenbarung aber ok. Allerdings wurden wir während des Essens dann vollkommen ignoriert. Getränke nachbestellen war nicht möglich. Schwierig, wenn es in dem Wintergarten auch unangenehm warm war. Die Gäste am anderen Tisch sind auch andauernd raus um Luft zu schnappen. Eigentlich war auch Nachtisch und Mokka geplant, aber bei der Hitze und ohne Getränke unmöglich. Als die Teller abgeräumt wurden, wurden wir nicht mal gefragt, ob es uns geschmeckt hat. Der Hinweis, dass es unerträglich heiß im Wintergarten ist, wurde geflissentlich überhört. Summa summarum: Das Essen ist durchschnittlich. Aber man wird eher abgefertigt und fühlte sich mehr als Störer, als als Gast. Nein, dann lieber nach Zorneding oder Kirchseeon zum griechisch Essen. Dort ist das Essen besser und man fühlt sich dort als Gast gesehen und willkommen.

Umfangreiche Speisekarte, für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei, hochwertige Speisen, außergewöhnlich freundliches Personal und ein tolles Ambiente. Genießen Sie es mit Freunden und Familie.

Das essen hat gut geschmeckt und alles war frisch. Leider fühlten wir uns nicht willkommen, Stammgäste wurden herzlich begrüßt. Bei uns wurde nicht so freundlich agiert. Wegen der Qualität der Soeisen würden wir wiederkommen, wegen der Art und Weise der Behandlung leider nicht.

Sind das erste Mal dort eingekehrt. Schönes gemütliches Ambiente, Service leider so gut wie nicht vorhanden. Nach allem musste gefragt werden, Hauptspeisen kamen bereits obwohl die Vorspeisen noch nicht beendet waren, Teller und sonstiges wurde nicht abgeräumt, Ouzo aufs Haus gab es auch nicht - da erwarte ich mir mehr bei der Summe die konsumiert wurde. Leider nicht mehr, da gibt es dann "freundlichere" griechische Lokalitäten...

Leider war das Essem nicht besonders. Das Gyros war wenig gewürzt und nicht knusprig. Schade, die Lokalität ist wirklich ansprechend.

Ich habe dieses Restaurant immer geliebt, der Manager und die Kellner waren einfach spitze… Ich habe es deshalb für ein Familienessen mit 11 Personen wieder ausgewählt… Leider muss ich euch dieses Mal nur einen Stern geben, der Service war wirklich schlecht… Die Vorspeise war eine Enttäuschung, ein Gericht war falsch. Der Poseidon Teller war verkocht, aber das Essen war, sagen wir mal, mittelmäßig :( (Ich kenne dieses Restaurant schon mein ganzes Leben lang… und zu sehen, dass sie bei nur 5 besetzten Tischen schon so desinteressiert am Gast sind, ist wirklich traurig. Im Sommer herrscht hier Chaos, und da hätte ich euch das sicher verziehen.) Ich hoffe, ihr seid immer noch so gut wie früher. (PS: Waren 400 € zu wenig?) Ich wollte eine Kinderportion bestellen. Statt man normal redet wurde böse gesagt es geht nur eine kleine Portion. Nett ist etwas anderes. Das Essen kam das Gyros war sehr fettig nicht gut. Ich werde dort nie wieder hin gehen. Was ist das Problem eine Kinderportion zu bekommen wenn man sogar für die kleine Portion nicht genügend Hunger hat. Wir waren 7 Personen das heißt Geld hat das Restaurant genügend verdient. Nie wieder diese Art und Weise unverschämt.

Der Poseidon ist eigentlich ganz okay ich mein das Essen schmeckt eigentlich schon sehr gut. Wartezeit ist eigentlich auch nicht so lange. Es gibt eigentlich schön draußen Bereich und einen schönen Innenbereich alles schön und gut aber die Location haben sie sich echt schlecht rausgesucht. Also neben einem Bahnhof mit Zug und einer Straße ist das kein schöner Ort zum draußen essen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall dein Essen empfehlen dann oder sich schon mehr und ist auch sehr schön.

Als erstes bin ich fast in die Lokaltür hineingestürtzt, da ich die Stufe davor nicht bemerkt hatte. Als Gast habe ich mich mit der griechischen Charme nicht so willkommen gefühlt.

Yesterday I went to Poseidon and was looking forward to buying a lamb fillet, but unfortunately it was a total flop. The fillet was overcooked and very tough and chewy, inedible, and also very expensive. The waiter was so-so. The evening was a disaster, especially since my partner wasn't satisfied with her meal either; the spare ribs were undercooked and soggy. Never again. I hope the restaurant gets some good advice on how to improve.

Ordered from the lunch table today with black hair in my food, and the gyro was of poor quality! I can't recommend it. The price/performance ratio isn't right here!

Very good restaurant with a large, shady beer garden. Good food at fair prices. Friendly, fast service. Since Greeks come here to party and feast, you can expect to be served authentic Greek cuisine. We always enjoy coming back.

Cozy Greek restaurant with great, friendly service and delicious food.

Positive: Ouzo as a welcome, also after the meal. The starter salad was very good. The waiter was somewhat reserved in his friendliness. We were at the restaurant for lunch in May this year, and the dishes (Athens plate) were very tasty and well-seasoned, the tzatziki with garlic, as it should be, as was the pita bread. This time, however, the food (Athens plate again) was a bit bland, the tzatziki more like cucumber cream, with only a slight hint of garlic. I politely pointed this out to the waiter, to which he reacted in a nonchalant manner. I hope things will improve again.

The food was good, as always. Unfortunately, we were unlucky with the service this time. The waiters seemed bored and more or less ignored us. This was despite the fact that our companion is a frequent visitor. We've experienced things differently before. Hopefully, this isn't the beginning of a gradual decline in service quality, as often happens when a restaurant does too well for too long. It's a shame, our companion was also disgusted by the poor service.

Yes, dude, what kind of service was that? They were extremely unfriendly because it was extremely stressful for them because they had completely messed things up. Don't get me wrong, I also work as a waiter in another restaurant and mistakes happen sometimes, but with those prices I don't expect my food to be brought to the table with a number. Unfortunately, we had to return a meal. The menu listed fresh mushrooms in Metaxa sauce. We were served canned mushrooms in Metaxa sauce. We politely pointed this out to the waiter, who grumpily took it back. They didn't ask if we wanted anything else; they just barely paid any attention to us. However, the dish remained on the bill at full price. We paid it, of course, and won't visit this restaurant again, let alone recommend it.

Best food experience I had in a long tome! Food was simply delicious. Free start drink, pita bread with garlic and tzatziki! Fresh food, warmed plates, good and most importantly waiters were all super polite and helpful and caring. As a grown up man I almost had a problem finishing the dish since the portions were just so big <3

Is my favorite Greek. Beautiful, large garden with chestnut trees, which is also heated and covered. A wonderfully cozy, bright winter garden. Very good food. Good and cheap lunch menu. Ouzo before and after. The landlord Joannis and his staff are absolutely great. Reservation required.

Highly recommended also for celiac disease and HPP: gluten and phosphate free is guaranteed. It's best to ask beforehand for the boss who knows his stuff. Only pure spices are used, no spice mixtures with hidden strengths. The meat has no added phosphates and the tzatziki - like other dishes - is made from pure ingredients without any additives. The food was brought to me with great care to avoid confusion. And it tasted great. Many thanks to the whole team!

The food was a complete disappointment across the board. Children's menu partly raw and burnt, pasta with seafood only with white wine, tzatziki from the large metro bucket and the gyros in Metaxa with boulders of gyro slices and cheap cream sauce without Metaxa sauce. The calamari also only tasted like lemon. Tomato rice half raw. The foundation of the cheekiness is the pita with garlic powder. For this 140€ at 0% price/performance A request as a guest to the owner. SHUT UP!!!!!!

Very good grilled meat, tzatziki has a lot of power, service was good, they even knew who had ordered what when paying, the receipt was already ready, strong. Ouzo on the house pleasant. The cocktail sauce on the salad wasn't my thing, but next time I'll just order a coleslaw. It might be a bit noisy, but it was also full. Overall very very good.

My favorite Greek restaurant in the Munich area for years! Regardless of whether it was a lunch menu or dinner, we always had a good meal here with the family and guests. The restaurant is always full in the evening during normal meal times, so make a reservation or bring your time. In summer it's nice to sit under the big chestnut trees in the garden (albeit close to the trains) There is usually still plenty of space at lunchtime.

We had our office Christmas party at Poseidon this year. It was very successful all around, everyone felt comfortable. Very good food, attentive service and stylish ambience.

Unfortunately, I'm not entirely convinced by "Poseidon". The restaurant does have a nice beer garden outside, but the whole atmosphere is loud and not particularly cozy. Unfortunately, a train passes directly by the restaurant at least every 10 minutes. In addition, there is the simultaneous music sound, which is probably a matter of taste. Something was forgotten when ordering, the children's meal arrived 20 minutes before the adults' meal. The menu offers roughly what almost all Greek restaurants in Germany offer without any special surprises. The meat was tender and well grilled. The moussaka was a little weakly seasoned. There is not enough on offer for vegetarians. Overall, the Poseidon is ok, but not outstanding, and because of the loud atmosphere we probably won't come back.

Today I was back at Poseidon for a long time and unfortunately I was very disappointed. I had baked hot cheese with tomatoes. Half of the bowl was covered with oil. It said WITH tomatoes and I only had one tomato in the entire dish. In addition, the waiter was very annoyed and gave stupid answers. For the money you paid you would have expected more. So that was my last time there. Too bad!

We were there for dinner and were unfortunately disappointed. Drinks were only accepted after repeated hand signals. The staff seemed overwhelmed and some of them spoke neither German nor English. The side salads came first, then the drinks. We had to wait about 45 minutes for the food, which unfortunately came to the table cold and poorly seasoned. The gyro was very dry, the fries were soft. The portions are generally very small. We won't go there anymore.

Once was our favorite Greek restaurant, but after the Corona period the restaurant has changed a lot. The once very friendly staff suddenly became impersonal and inattentive, the dishes were seasoned less carelessly, the portions were smaller, the fish plate, for example, which used to be really rich as a main course, mutated into a sparse starter in terms of quantity, In addition, prices increased more than significantly as quality declined. Went there again yesterday, but unfortunately we were very disappointed again. It's a shame, we really have to look for another Greek restaurant.

We've been going here at least twice for over 20 years. Always right. Was here today for the first time in 2024 - all 4 of us who had fries said, independently of each other, that these mini-sized amounts of fries were a joke - and we are not big eaters. I find that all the more surprising since the meat is more expensive for the host was plentiful. Even if you ate fries very sparingly, you would no longer have any side dish after a quarter of the meat was at the latest, which from then on pretty much put a damper on the whole eating experience. Probably somewhere else in the future...

Delicious Greek food, nice, clean and cozy atmosphere, friendly service. The quality of the food is definitely above average compared to other Greek restaurants. The prices are absolutely fair. The small playground is great for the children. 4 adults, 3 children: Fish platter for two people, pita, baby calamari, bifteki, children's schnitzel with fries, warm starter platter, side salad, tzatziki. Everything without exception great! Thank you, we would love to come back.

Poseidon is our favorite restaurant. A particularly warm team. A really great winter garden and a beer garden under large chestnut trees with the possibility of closing a roof when it gets cold in the evening... There is great food and even an exquisite selection of cigars…

We've been going to Poseidon for years. Not regularly, but every now and then. Everything was always perfect. Nice service, food good and plentiful. The ambience with the beer garden is of course great. Two excellent Greeks in Baldham/Neukeferloh. You are spoiled for choice. But the last visit to Poseidon was unfortunately very weak. Instead of a large farmer's salad, I got a mini farmer's salad as a side salad and had to pay a €3 surcharge. OK. Maybe I misunderstood. Then a long wait. Should actually be a short visit. After a long time I asked where my main course, Kanninchen Stifado from the daily menu, was. Forget. As an apology, ouzo and another drink on the house. Then unfortunately came something that I've been seeing more and more often lately and I can't get over it. A huge plate came with a small bowl where there was a fairly manageable amount of food. Since I was pretty hungry at the time, I wasn't thrilled. At Stifado I always had a braised dish where the meat, sauce and onions were cooked together. There was sauce with a few onions in the small notch on the plate, on top of which the dry meat cut into cubes was distributed. At first I thought it was chicken breast, since I don't eat any other chicken, I can't judge. Since I was still hungry after the “Mogntratzerl”, I had dessert. Paid €45 and didn't really get full. I have to say, after the renovation and the new menu, the other Greek in Neukeferloh is ahead. Quality and portion size weren't right. Friendly service but no great feedback on my complaint.

I visited this restaurant for the first time. I invited my friends over for dinner on the occasion of my birthday. How embarrassing when the food doesn't taste good. And how great the disappointment when you were so looking forward to the meal. The quality is inferior. My food was warmed up. The food in my company's canteen is definitely better. A pity!

Das Essen ist gut aber 16,50€ für ein kleinen Gyrosteller ist schon happig und Pommes statt Reis kostet nochmal 0,50€ mehr. 4,90€ für ein Weißbier ist leider schon fast normal

Schade, alles hat irgendwie nachgelassen, und wir waren ein oft dort. Die Kellner verstehen oft nicht was bestellt wird, dem entsprechend bekommt man etwas anderes als man wollte. Dann wird das Essen aber nicht neu gemacht, sondern einfach nur in der Küche fehlendes auf einem extra Teller nachgereicht was dann natürlich anders schmeckt als wenn es vorher mitgekocht wurde. Als Entschuldigung gibt es einen Ouzo.... Den es evtl auch schon vor der Bestellung gab. Nein, danke. Die Kellner rauchen zwischendurch und kommen danach zum Tisch... Kein sehr guter Geruch dem Gast gegenüber. Eher wirklich übel. Generell sehen die Kellner oft grießgrämig aus, oder fragend. Das Essen ist teilweise überwürzt und viel zu lange gebraten oder trocken. Die Preise sind mittlerweile auch auf einem Niveau angekommen das einen Besuch mit den oberen Punkten für uns nicht mehr attraktiv macht.

Das einzige, was nicht i.O.ist, sind die Toiletten. Alles andere super!

Bestes griechisches Lokal im Kreis Vaterstetten.

Wir haben hier zu viert gegessen. Es ging schnell mit der Bestellung und die Portionen waren groß, so das man ohne Probleme satt wird. Es war sehr lecker. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und somit rundum zufrieden. Die Preise sind in Ordnung, es ist nicht billig, das Essen ist sehr gut zubereitet. Keine Tiefkühlkost, alles frisch! Somit preislich vollkommen stimmig. Macht weiter so, wir kommen wieder.

Essen war sehr gut und reichlich. Keller waren sehr höflich und schnell. Lediglich die Nähe zur S-Bahn ist etwas nervig.
