I can only recommend. Delicious food and good service. I had the chicken soup first and then a plate of gyros, a skewer, fries and rice. I was definitely full. The price-performance ratio is still good. It is always quite crowded, so you should reserve in advance.

We really like the place. Above all, it's easy to get in as a disabled person. They also helped me immediately with choosing a seat. A table was immediately found and a chair was moved away to make enough space. We then had an excellent meal. Everything worked out great. We will always go back here. The only thing I have to complain about is that there isn't a parking space for disabled people. Disabled people often come to the restaurant and I think that one or even better two parking spaces just for disabled people would be appropriate

We have enjoyed eating here for years. We have been regular guests at this restaurant since the beginning. So far I have never had any complaints about the quality of the food. On the contrary, it remains consistently high over so many years. The service is very good, friendly, attentive and personal. The boss is always present and is not above helping himself. Ok, it's a big shop with little charm, but the very good food and the nice employees let you ignore that. Eating out outside becomes a little vacation 😍👍 Thanks to the team and keep it up 😘👍👍👍

My grandparents were recently invited to a birthday party there. Of 25 people, 22 people then had vomiting and diarrhea. My grandfather is 93 and for me that almost borders on bodily harm! Friends reported the same experiences during the same period!

Unbelievable, almost everything is already occupied at 6 p.m. in the middle of the week. No way: people no longer have money to go out to eat. Great service despite the crowd, lots of staff (under stress). But you can't feel comfortable with the background noise like in a train station hall. Everything happens almost at a running pace. The chairs are not comfortable for long periods of time because of the steep backrests. After just an hour, despite the huge crowds, you're already done (with the good food and the noise). You shouldn't come without a reservation, there's too much traffic. Next time we will try it at lunchtime, then it will definitely not be so crowded and a bit quieter and therefore more comfortable.

The service was attentive, I would have missed a bit more of a smile. The food was okay in terms of price. The bread that was served is not recommended, it was not fresh bread. The food came relatively quickly, tasted okay, but it was nothing special. I wouldn't recommend dessert for the price/taste. All in all a 3/5.

We always enjoy eating here. Simply super delicious. Relaxed conversations with the many waiters despite the huge crowds on Valentine's Day. Everyone gets an ouzo. Unfortunately we don't. 😕

We were there last Sunday with 6 people. 5 of them had food poisoning after eating the meat dishes. Vomiting, diarrhea, and severe stomach pain. It's a shame... because we actually really enjoyed coming here. Somehow the trust is now a little broken. We won't be coming back for a while.

The food was very good. The service was good...but I'm not a fan of clearing another table, moving on to the next table and stacking all the plates at once. Then it's like being a commercial kitchen staff. It is very loud in the restaurant and the tables that are not by the window are slightly dark and too narrow. In summer you can sit in the beautiful beer garden. We will only do this in the future.

The food was good, but not on point. Stale bread, very little rice, even though I opted out of fries. Too many different service staff at the table who constantly want something and don't give you time to read the menu. I would go again sometime because the main course tasted good, but it's not my first choice restaurant.

Went here with a large group, service was friendly and quick. However, there are small mistakes every now and then but that is forgivable with 50 people. The buffet food was very tasty and there was always enough supplies. Great local and would love to come back when I'm nearby! :)

I can evaluate the restaurant from two perspectives. One as an employee and one as a customer. I will start with my perspective as a customer as the times I have eaten outside of my hours, everyone has treated me impeccably, even though I was a member of the staff I was not put on the back burner or treated with less respect or dignity. As for the food, it was all incredible. Since I am a mushroom lover I have enjoyed both the rumpsteak and the rinderfilet with mushroom sauce, as well as the paprika appetizer. All tasty and tidy. As an employee I have to say that this is the cleanest restaurant I have ever visited. Honest, reliable employers and good guys. I highly recommend the restaurant, you will have a great time!!!

I've been to this restaurant several times now. Although some of the service staff don't speak/understand German very well, communication works quite well. The employees have all been friendly and attentive, and special requests have also been fulfilled without any problems. The menu is very extensive, there is something for everyone. Even if the restaurant is very full, the dishes ordered come very quickly. The dishes tasted different to me, which in my opinion probably has something to do with how busy the kitchen is. A good example is the gyros, which is found on the plates of many dishes. Depending on how full the restaurant is, it arrives on the plates beautifully browned; if there are high volumes of orders, there is hardly any hint of roasted aromas. Personally, I would like to wait a little longer for my food here.

The food is exceptionally good, as is the service and at more than fair prices. However, the volume is very loud due to the many guests and tables. I can live with it very well, so I'm happy to do it again at any time.

On Sunday the place was extremely overcrowded, very unpleasant for both guests and employees, the air in the shop could be cut with a knife. It's just bad, how can you make the shop so full? The service and quality there are, every gyro stand is better than mass processing, nothing else That's how you ruin everything. Congratulations..

Ich gehe seit Jahren ins Poseidon und bin immer noch mehr als zufrieden! Schnell, gute Qualität, ein freundlicher Umgang und bezahlbare Preise sind die Gründe auch weiterhin dort lecker zu essen!

Wir waren am 2.Weihnachten mit einer 14 köpfigen Gruppe essen.Das Lokal war völlig überfüllt.Der Service total überfordert. Nach einer Stunde kam der Beilagensalat ,nach 2 Stunden wurde die Hauptgerichte serviert.Die Portionen waren für einen Griechen recht überschaubar.Bedingungen waren genervt und patzig.Zum Schluss war die Rechnung nicht korrekt, zu unserem Nachteil.

Ausgezeichnetes Essen und vom besten Restaurant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wir waren ohne Tischreservierung mit 3 Personen (2 Erwachsene und 1 Kind) hier zum Essen. Nach kurzer Wartezeit (ca. 5 Minuten) bekamen wir einen Tisch zugewiesen. Für Kinder gibt es leider keine separate Speisekarte, daher war es sehr nett von der Bedienung uns anzubieten für sie eine kleinere Portion zu bringen. Wir hatten die 114, 137 und eigentlich die 134. Statt dieser bekamen wir leider die 138 und dann auch noch ohne Zaziki. Das Essen war gut und die Portion passte zum Preis. Normalerweise hätte ich 5 Sterne vergeben, aber wegen des vertauschten Essens gibt es leider einen Punkt Abzug. Wir würden nochmal dort essen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und vor allem auch sehr kinderlieb 🖒

Das Essen und der Service waren super. Wir wurden schnell bedient und die Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam. Auf das Essen müsste man nicht lange warten. Einziges Manko ist die Lautstärke. Die Räume sind sehr offen gestaltet was dazu führt das es sehr laut wird. Daher nur vier Sterne.

Von aussen sehr unscheinbar aber wenn man herein kommt denkt man man ist in einer anderen Welt. Der Gastraum ist aufwändig und mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Wir wurden von Personal sehr freundlich empfangen und zum Tisch gebracht. Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränke war reichlich aber auch nicht zu viel oder unübersichtlich. Vorweg gab es erst einmal einen Ouzo. Insgesamt war die Vorspeise und der Hauptgang sehr lecker. Einen Nachtisch haben wir leider nicht geschafft aber auch hier eine gute Auswahl. Wir können das Restaurant guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen. Danke für den netten Abend

Sehr guter und aufmerksamer Service. Das Essen war super lecker! Saftiges, knuspriges Gyros. Souvlaki geschmacklich genial, ebenfalls saftig. Preis-Leistung sehr gut.

Im Restaurant war es insgesamt sehr laut durch die Vielzahl anderer Gäste und fehlende Maßnahmen zur Verbesserung der Akustik. Die Bedienung war schnell, nett und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war bei mir ok, der Gemüse Auflauf einer Begleitung war aufgewärmt und innen noch kalt.

Wir waren am 25.12. mittags mit 12 Personen mittlerweile zum dritten Mal zum Essen hier. Immer (!) toller Service, nett und aufmerksam. Und das Essen ist hervorragend! Trotz voll ausgebuchtem Restaurant war alles perfekt. Vielen Dank an das sehr nette Personal !!! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können Poseidon nur empfehlen!

Neugierigerweise haben wir mal einen Tisch reserviert, weil wir beim vorbeifahren immer wieder gesehen haben, was hier tagtäglich für ein Andrang herrscht. Kann jetzt auf jeden Fall gut verstehen, warum so viele Menschen hier essen gehen. Das Poseidon ist sowohl vom Essen, als auch von der herzlichen Atmosphäre her, ein wirklich großartiges Restaurant!

Ich kann hier nur volle Sterne geben. Man wird nett empfangen. Die Kellner sind freundlich und das Essen köstlich. Etwas mehr verschiedene Nachspeisen würde ich mir wünschen.Absolute Empfehlung von mir!

Ein sehr gutes griechisches Restaurant mit einer schönen Auswahl an Gerichten. Der Service ist sehr gut, freundlich und lässt nicht lange auf sich warten. Was will man mehr? Nachtrag, 17.12.23: Wir waren heute wieder dort. 5**** Sterne für die Wintergerichte. Das gegrillte Kalbssteak mit Gemüsebeilage (Zucchini, geschmorte Zwiebeln, roter und grüner Paprika, Tomate und Pilzen) und gerösteten Kartoffelscheiben, war nicht nur fürs Augo sondern auch für den Gaumen ein Traum. Das nächste Mal werde ich Fotos machen ! Absolute Empfehlung !!!!!!!! Service war einwandfrei, obwohl es sehr gut besucht war.

Das Essen war lecker aber es ist dort zu hektisch. Man wird ziemlich gehetzt beim bestellen. Habe ich als schnelle Abfertigung empfunden. Mir sind die kleinen persönlichen Restaurants mit Tavernen Atmosphären lieber.

Ich war angenehm überrascht, man wurde an der Türe abgeholt und man bekam einen Tisch zu gewiesen. Waren ohne Termin spontan dort. Sehr freundlicher Service, gutes Essen und ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Für meine Frau und mich ist es das beste Griechische Restaurant in Remscheid Lennep, topp Essen, schnelle Zubereitung und nette Mitarbeiter/innen. Man wird zum Tisch gebracht und ein Aperitif wird auch gereicht. Wir sind Stammkunden und werden es wohl auch bleiben. Fam. del Vecchio

Even though restaurant was quite busy, and we didn't had reservation, we were welcomed and sited right away. As waiting staff realized that we don't speak German language, we were immediately given menu in English and welcomed with traditional drink, Ouzo. We were given time to browse trough menu, and once we lifted our heads waiter approach. We got delicious food, very juicy and tasty. Every course was right on time, without being rushed, but also without waiting. Just perfectly timed. Staff was very friendly and professional. We enjoyed every second there. Definitely will come back.

Das Essen war sehr lecker ein super Service nur die Geräuschkulisse ist wenn man in ruhe essen möchte zu hoch.

Meins ist es nicht. Ein wirklich großes griechisches Restaurant, zu Stoßzeiten ist der Parkplatz rappelvoll, man muss auf die (Land )Straße ausweichen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind verschachtelt, alles o.k., aber nicht gemütlich oder so. Die klassische griechische Speisekarte, keine großen Überraschungen hier, viel Auswahl halt. Die Portionen sind eher klein geraten, die Speisen, die ich hatte, qualitativ Durchschnitt, dafür sind mir die Preise zu hoch. Bei unseren Besuchen waren die Servicekräfte zwar aufmerksam und flott, haben aber immer wieder irgendetwas durcheinander gebracht. Mit den Toiletten hatten wir auch immer Pech, etwas "schmuddelig", mal keine Seife, mal kein Papier (wir waren immer etwas später am Abend dort).
