The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was really tasty and the portions were reasonable. Ouzo was offered free before and after the meal, although one before the meal was enough for us. It was a bit too loud for me, which is certainly due to both the acoustics and mainly the guests, who apparently can't have a quiet conversation these days. You're actually not in a bar, but in a restaurant. Nevertheless, overall it was a worthwhile visit and we would come again.

Unfortunately the gyros were very poorly baked. I couldn't find the meat. The Gouda took over the dish a lot. Unfortunately it was also cold. It's a shame, it just has to be a dish that always fits. The staff was still top!

The side salad resembled bad rabbit food. The tomatoes were mealy and lacked vinegar and oil. The main courses, there were 9 of us, every dish was cold, the fish was dry, the fries were very cheap frozen fries, the service mixed up the drinks order. The sliding door was repeatedly opened to ventilate, but even after requests to close it again there was no response. So we had to keep closing it ourselves. I wouldn't go here again.

Ate very tasty. The restaurant was full at 6 p.m., but the food still came extremely quickly! After 8 p.m. it was surprisingly quiet.

It's really rare to find such service! The food is also impressive across the board. The quality is excellent, the dishes come very quickly. The menu is large and it's worth looking beyond the classic grill plates. My personal highlights and absolute recommendations: • Metaxa plate (tender pork fillet in delicious Metaxa sauce) • Chicken breast fillet with sheep's cheese sauce • Sole fillet Really absolute recommendation!

We had our company Christmas party there with over 25 people. The food came to everyone at the same time, generous portions - most were also satisfied with the quality. The staff was mostly friendly, there are usually one or two grumpy Grinches 😉

A large store with lots of space. The atmosphere was good so far - a Greek who didn't pack everything "old school" with decorations. I had a special meal request - related to the combination (I wanted gyros, but also veal steak and also liver), but unfortunately it wasn't on the menu - but it's all a small problem - they made it that way for me... So thank you... and it tasted very good - it was a decent portion. Service also very friendly...

Trotz vollem Hause wurden wir gut empfangen und einen Tisch zugewiesen. Das Essen war ok und hat gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren ausreichend. Soweit so gut. Jetzt zur Kritik. Die Bedienung war freundlich, jedoch waren direkt 4 Kellner/innen für uns zuständig. 1 nahm die Bestellungen auf, der die andere brachte die Getränke, der nächste nahm die Essenswünsche entgegen irgendjemand brachte sie dann. Meine Frau hat eine Glutenunverträglichkeit. Dies wurde ausdrücklich mit der Kellnerin besprochen und sie sagte zu, zum einen das die bestellten Gerichte (Ouzo Teller) , einen Teller Zaziki glutenfrei wären. Irgendwann kam das Essen. Wir speisten und einige Zeit später fuhren wir wieder nach Hause. Meiner Frau ging es zunehmend schlecht, so dass wir während der Fahrt anhalten und einen Fahrerwechsel vornehmen mussten. Zuhause dann hat sich meine Frau fürchterlich übergeben und ging dann frierend ins Bett, wo sie dann nach einiger Zeit stöhnend und entkräftet einschlief. Fehler passieren, obwohl es nicht sein dürfte, wenn es ausdrücklich kommuniziert wird. Die vielen Kellner, die überall waren ohne feste Zuordnung, wenn es so auch in der Küche zugeht verstehe ich das die Kommunikation auf der Strecke bleibt. Worüber ich mich ärgere und warum ich nur einen Stern gebe ist, dass ich das Restaurant am gleichen Abend noch angeschrieben habe mit der Bitte um Aufklärung und Rückmeldung. Es ist nichts passiert. Keine Reaktion - keine Entschuldigung - keine Erklärung! Das ist schwach! Für jemand mit einer Unverträglichkeit ist das Restaurant nicht zu empfehlen, da man sich nicht auf die Aussagen der Kellner bzw. die Angaben in der Karte verlassen kann. Es ist schade, weil das Essen lecker war.

We as Remscheiders/Lennepers have been here countless times. What we've noticed lately is that the mood in the restaurant can be described as irritable. Everything has to happen quickly, quickly. When ordering I have to hear that we should order faster...? Even a fake smile doesn't help anymore. Furthermore, this quickly continues when serving the starters and main courses. After the first two or three forks of the starter, they are already standing in front of you with the main course. Of course, there is no room for so many dishes at a table with four people. Also, for the second time in a row the food was only lukewarm. We'll be back, sure. But please go back more like “before” ✌️

Our favorite Greek for a long time, although we don't live in Lennep. Highly recommended: always good quality, good quantity, always fresh. Tables clean, a fresh flower and a burning candle on them. An ouzo on the house before and after your meal, what more could you want? We love coming here again and again - even from further away. Keep it up, the price-performance ratio is right!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Poseidon Restaurant and I can safely say it was an exceptional experience! As soon as you enter the restaurant you are welcomed by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The decor is tasteful and exudes Greek charm, which only increases the anticipation of the meal. The menu offers an impressive selection of traditional Greek dishes. The service was attentive but never intrusive. The dessert was also a real highlight and rounded off the meal perfectly. Overall, I highly recommend Poseidon. It is the ideal place for a romantic evening or a cozy meal with friends. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We were there with a total of 5 children and 4 adults, and everyone was taken into account, including all special requests. The very active children were no problem for the service, even though the restaurant was very full. As always, it was super good. The food is also very good and plentiful, of course you can always find something to complain about, but it is good Greek cuisine, handmade and not fancy. Delicious, you'll feel full and you'll be happy to come back!

Parking situation could be better and you should avoid parking outside on the street because there are some very poor cyclists who sometimes scratch all the cars parked on the street from front to back! Unfortunately, I (and 17 (!) others) had to experience this myself in August 2021 and since then I have never parked on the street again. It is better to park behind the hotel. The restaurant offers excellent food. I like to be here often. It is very busy, it is recommended to reserve in advance. Not all of the waitresses understand or speak German well. The misunderstandings are resolved immediately...I would recommend the restaurant to everyone!

Food is okay, portion size is good. Staff, however, is underground. No overview of who ordered what, empty plates are cleared from the table while people are still eating. Nobody paid attention to whether drinks were still wanted.

It wasn't very busy...little attention from the staff. No ouzos arrived...no menu...after ordering, the meat arrived very dark and very hard...a complaint was made. Was on the bill afterwards. It doesn't work at all!

The food is very tasty and rich. The ouzo is one of the better ones I've had so far. The large terrace outside is ideal on sunny or warmer days. Unfortunately, the smoke and smell from the smokers catches a bit, which reduces the feel-good factor somewhat, hence only 4 stars for the ambience. However, it is also difficult for operators of outdoor restaurants to really do justice to everyone. It is more the responsibility of the individual to act with respect and consideration for other guests.

You can clearly see that a lot of money is to be made in a short period of time... every centimeter is filled with money-making space. Too few staff to serve everyone properly. It's like a fast food restaurant! You won't find cosiness, enjoyment and also feeling good there! It took a long time before we could place our order, but after we took action ourselves, someone came. Food and drinks were brought quickly. But don't you want to order another drink, it wasn't possible, on the contrary, we were referred to another waiter twice... that's not possible! We were 8 adults and two children, I think this should be enough to generate sales... but you are just a "number" and definitely not a "guest". The food itself was okay, but I missed the taste.... just prepared quickly and without Greek "heart and soul" and "temper", there is definitely a better and different way! In short, if you really want to have “Greek food”, you should go somewhere else. If you love fast food in the train station and still want to spend a lot of money, go here.

This cannot be forgiven: they gave me red wine in a HOT glass, which was also hot! Mulled wine??)) but my colleague was more unlucky - his white wine was spoiled (improper storage, I think), the administrator (a man with a beard) refused to try it but replaced it with exactly the same wine but without defects (good wine)! What was it? Do you hope that clients are fools??? If the wine is spoiled why do you disgrace yourself and serve it on the table???? Definitely not recommended! Since the place is in this area of ​​the city - the restaurant employees think that they can work poorly - they will bring money anyway))) One good thing - the chefs cook delicious food

Unfortunately it wasn't as reserved and then you weren't served. Only 15 minutes after our complaint did a waitress come and take our order. During and after the meal, no service came to order drinks. A pity!

Today we happened to stop by this restaurant, not expecting anything special, and were pleasantly surprised. The waiters welcomed us very friendly and, despite numerous reservations, found a place for us in the summer garden. The atmosphere was very pleasant. We ordered a marathon platter and the service was very quick. Believe me, I have never tasted tastier grilled food. The farmer's salad was also excellent, especially the cheese in it. After the meal they offered us coffee and ouzo on the house. Very, very warm recommendation for this restaurant.
