Always very happy! The food is always really tasty and definitely worth the price! The staff is very accommodating, attentive and very, very friendly! The outdoor area is also really impressive and stands out from other restaurants. Even if the journey is a little further, it's worth eating here every time!

The food was super delicious. We both had the pepper steak with baked potato. The potato tasted very good, the curd cream was also very tasty, the meat was very good and the salad was super fresh. As 5+ stars from us. Always happy again.

Es sollte ein schönes gemeinsames Abendessen werden und wurde eine bittere Enttäuschung. Geworben wird mit „Das PORTER HOUSE zählt seit 1977 zu den besten gastronomischen Betrieben seiner Branche. Nicht zuletzt wegen seines in der Qualität gleichbelibenden Frischfleisches von ausschließlich jungen Freilandrindern.“ Eines unserer Gerichte war „KAUKASISCHER SPIESS - Steakfleisch, Filetspitzen und Speck, 220g, mit einer würzigen Garnitur, Pommes Frites oder Backkartoffel“ für 21,90€. Das Fleisch war eine Katastrophe – fast roh – für einen Spieß unmöglich und zum Teil nicht kaubar. Eine entsprechende Rückmeldung an die Bedienung wurde völlig emotionslos aufgenommen und blieb ohne weitere Reaktion. Insgesamt ist zu konstatieren, dass Preis und Leistung weitestgehend außer Verhältnis sind. Ein Alster 0,5 l für 6,30€ und der einfache kleine gemischte Salat für 6,90€

We were at the Porter House Norderstedt on a Saturday evening with four people. There are sufficient free parking spaces available on private property in front of the building. The reception was friendly and our reserved table was immediately available to us. The service was courteous and helpful at all times. The selection of dishes is large, everyone should find something here. The food was at the table quickly, freshly prepared and more than large enough. The range of drinks on offer is also impressive. The prices are reasonable for the quality offered. The restaurant itself is comfortably designed and invites you to relax and enjoy a delicious coffee after your meal. Overall, we were very impressed and will definitely stop by again on our next stay in the area.

Most of the steaks are okay, but the cooking points are often off. Cozy atmosphere, very large garden area, parking spaces are usually sufficient But there is little variation in the menu, it has been the same for years. Prices no longer appropriate for the service

For me number 5 in Norderstedt. It was more expensive than anywhere else, the steak was cold and over-seasoned. The doneness was just right and the taste was good. The garlic bread was cold and dry but crispy like rusks. The fries were soggy, very salty and cold. The salad had a sweet ready-made dressing called “Italian”, which the waitress referred to as vanaigrette. The obligatory shallot cubes and the obligatory Dijon mustard were missing. Instead, it was slightly thickened, like the stuff you can buy in bottles if you don't have any demands and don't want to cook. I should have ordered the salad without dressing. The light on my table stayed off because the battery wasn't charged. The service wasn't warm but courteous. Luckily she spared me the question of my satisfaction, which I rewarded with a 2.5% tip. I also liked that there were cloth napkins.

We ate very well here and were served absolutely courteously. The large summer terrace is absolutely great and very well maintained. Dogs are allowed outside. We'll definitely be back.

First of all you have to praise this beautiful beer garden, simply fantastic. The service ranged from extremely attentive and friendly to slightly annoyed. But not every day is the same and everyone can have a bad day. The food was average, which would be ok if the price was appropriate, but it was simply too expensive.

Most beautiful restaurant in Norderstedt with the opportunity to have dinner in the sun outside in the beautiful garden. The planes can be clearly seen and heard but are not disturbing at all.

We specifically called and asked if dogs were allowed INDOORS. "Of course no problem". Today we are standing there with a reservation and it says “Dogs are not allowed inside”. Then turn to open-minded competition.

Dogs not welcome, definitely in Norderstedt. I ordered a table for my birthday dinner by phone and stated the number of people and mentioned our small dog (3.5 kg Bolonka). When we arrived we saw signs written in the parking lot: Dogs on a leash (absolutely okay and also in your own interest), and dog walks prohibited. Then the next sign on the door: Dogs must stay outside. We were already irritated. We were greeted inside: Reserved? - Yes. . Ah there, the table is outside. The dog is not allowed in here. In response to my objection, I specified the dog when making the reservation and nothing was said about dogs being banned inside and tables only outside, only it was not unusual. I can't agree with that, we often go to restaurants with our dog without any problems. After we left without eating, I called the Mendoza steakhouse and what a miracle, the dog wasn't a problem at all. We then spent a cozy evening there with delicious food. Mind you, there is no mention of a dog ban on the Porter House website either. And it is estimated that Mr. Seeler (whom I appreciated) would not have been turned away with a dog.

Our first impression was pleasant, there were nice places in the sun and in the shade without prior reservation. The waitresses were also friendly. However, when it came to the side dishes, we had the very strong impression that they were just convenience food, i.e. frozen bread, like the one served in the log cabin, and the sour cream, for example, tasted a lot like “bucket” to us in addition to the in The cream is pimped with fresh herbs (darker, finely chopped and very soft herbs). I had a strong feeling that I was tasting the taste of preservatives. As soon as I took the first bite I grimaced and my enjoyment of eating was gone. Also, why on earth is red wine served in such small glasses that are far too small to develop the aroma? The white wine, on the other hand, was served in additional glasses. For us it was unique... So, we won't be coming back. The price-performance ratio was not justified for us. We weren't asked whether or how we liked it, but I would have liked to have answered directly.

I would like to say a big compliment to this fantastic steakhouse. The food here is incredibly delicious and the service is top notch. I particularly recommend the rump steak – it is perfectly prepared and simply heavenly. Every visit is a pleasure!

Ich gehe schon seit Jahren in das Restaurant und war bisher immer zufrieden. Natürlich sind wie überall auch dort die Preise angehoben worden und die Portionen sind verkleinert. Das liegt meines Erachtens nach aber an den gestiegenen Energiekosten, die das Restaurant natürlich auch auf die Preise aufschlägt. Trotzdem ist die Qualität nach wie vor gut und da ich sehr viel essen gehe, gibt es da ganz andere Lokale, wo der Service zu wünschen lässt. Ein einziges Mal, und das war leider zur Weihnachtszeit, wurde eine Entengericht serviert, das eine glatte 6 gewesen ist. Immerhin bekamen wir dann einen Cappuccino und einen Nachtisch auf Kosten des Hauses als Entschädigung. Das war aber das einzige Mal und muss wohl am Koch gelegen haben.

We had a meal. The steak was grilled perfectly. The potato was also excellent. The ham and potatoes were delicious. The white asparagus was a little too firm. When the waitress asked if we liked it, we told her that the white asparagus would have been softer. It would have been nice if the desired consistency had been asked when ordering. We told this to the waitress. She then started a discussion with us and said that something like that wasn't possible with so many guests and gave further excuses, even though the restaurant wasn't even half full. In short, it would have been better to accept the criticism and ask directly whether it could do something for us.

The food was delicious (+expensive), although I still had to pay €1.20 for steak sauce on my €31 meal. I've never had anything like this before, it's surprising, especially given the price, and I wasn't told about it. At other steak shops I get quark, ketchup and steak sauce for free. The potato was delicious, but unfortunately there was hardly any quark. The salad beforehand was fresh and the bread was crispy. My companion had the vegetable pan with steak and was very disappointed. There was no sauce or curd, so the dish was very boring and tasteless (lots of broccoli). She also had to pay €1 for the to-go packaging, which no one told us in advance either. In summary: delicious, but the price/performance isn't right for me!

Ordered rump steak medium, got it bloody (the kitchen was probably in a hurry), 250g of which 50g had a gristly edge of fat (a edge of fat, yes, adds flavor to the steak, but shouldn't be for the trash can, poor meat quality). Girlfriend fries without anything, got ketchup when asked. Plates of fries were cleared away without asking, faster than you could see. The store was empty Friday evening. Way too expensive ! Price/performance very poor. Never again !

A sirloin steak and porterhouse steak was offered. The response to the tip is arrogant and dismissive, pointing out that the card says "from the back". Not only irritating but reprehensible and based on the reaction, definitely the first and last visit. If you need something like that, here you go!

A good location for a great, tasty steak with matching side dishes. Friendly service with a high level of competence and friendliness. The prices are appropriate for the result on the plate, definitely a thumbs up and I'll be happy to come back. My guests can also confirm this.

We wanted to go somewhere else for a moment and then have something to eat, but an employee immediately told us where we wanted to go and even though we said we wanted to come back straight away, we were sent away. So you really can't do anything more.

Good service, clean restaurant, leitmotif a bit confusing, food came quickly. Most of the food was delicious, BUT: - 30-40% of the fried potatoes were really dark/burnt. Of course it could be that others like it. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes were also quite fatty. It wasn't entirely clear whether they were freshly made or from a Metro bag. - Otherwise, our impression was that the food, right down to the meat, was more of a system catering category: canned mushrooms, bagged sauces. - The salad was fresh Overall, a bit of a disappointment for the rather high prices. But you can do it. I give 4 stars out of consideration for my fellow human beings, even if rationally only 3 stars would be appropriate.

The restaurant offers many seats in a pleasant atmosphere. The service is friendly and reliable. Priced in the upper range. However, not quite calculated according to my taste. The steaks are good in themselves, but not as “intense” as at other restaurants. We had to season it properly. Furthermore, the size of the inserts is also quite manageable. For the aforementioned, therefore a star deduction. There are sufficient private parking spaces available at the restaurant.

Es hat etwas länger gedauert bis das Essen kam, hinterher haben wir erfahren, das im Nebenraum eine diamantene Hochzeit ist… als wir fast fertig waren kam das erste mal die Bedienung vorbei und fragte ob das Steak in Ordnung ist. Aber das sind nur Kleinigkeiten. Das Essen war wirklich super!!!!!!

Das Gute zuerst: Mein Steak auf dem Teller war von guter Qualität und das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Parkplätze sind in großer Anzahl vorhanden. Das war's dann aber auch schon. Personal leider nur wenig freundlich und unaufmerksam, obwohl das Restaurant nur mäßig besucht war. Das Essen kam nach der Bestellung zu sehr unterschiedlichen Zeiten an unseren 6 Personen-Tisch. Einige von uns mussten schon alleine essen, damit es nicht kalt wurde. Zwischen dem Ersten und dem Letzten gebrachten Teller lagen zehn Minuten. Nicht akzeptabel. Salate, die ja fest zum Steak-Menü gehören, wurden teilweise vergessen. Der kleine Beilagen-Salat ist zudem viel zu einfach gestaltet, ohne Pfiff...wie in der Kantine. Alles kostet zudem noch irgendwie extra Geld... sogar die Verpackung kostet extra, wenn man die Reste mit nach Hause nehmen möchte. Die Speisekarte übrigens, ist im Internet ohne Preise ausgestellt! Warum wohl? Dann kein richtiger Steakpfeffer auf dem Tisch, auch auf Nachfrage nicht. Die Souercreme zur Kartoffel schmeckt extrem nach Mayonnaise. Warum ist da Mayo drin? Das schmeckt überhaupt nicht. Gut, dass so wenig davon gereicht wurde. Fazit: Das war nix... und dafür auch noch viel zu teuer! Es gibt tatsächlich bessere Möglichkeiten in Norderstedt ein gutes Steak zu genießen.

Keine Reservierung in der Woche aber kein Problem. Das Ambiente wie es in vielen Steakhäusern eben so ist aber das ist keine Abwertung. Auch die Speisekarte ist eben so aber es gab sogar noch Tagesgerichte, z.B. Grünkohl. Ungewöhnlich für ein Steakhaus und mit 26 EU auch ein bisschen hochpreisig. Das dann bestellte Essen (Grillteller, Kaukas. Fleischspieß) war sehr gut. Fleisch war sehr zart und die Beilagen reichlich und lecker. Ein finanz. Schnapper war es nicht aber wo gibt´s den schon noch in der Gastronomie? Da auch das Personal freundlich und auf zack war, kann man hier eigentlich nur 5* vergeben. Gerne wieder!

Grundsätzlich macht das Steakhaus erst einmal einen guten Eindruck. Die Spargelcremesuppe im November war überraschend gut, das Steak leider nicht wiw gewünscht medium, sondern fast roh. Der Service hätte zuvorkommender sein können, das Dessert, die Apfelpfannkuchen waren aber echt lecker.

Bedienung leicht überfordert. Kaiserschmarrn für 6.50 Euro ungenießbar. Kellnerin gab zu das dass nicht selbst gemacht wird. Traurig. Preise sehr Hoch. Ansonsten ist das Restaurant sehr gemütlich. Aber ich werde nicht wieder hingehen.

Wir waren gestern Abend im Porterhouse. Positiv war der Geschmack und die Qualität des Fleisches. Die Bedieenung war unfreundlich, der Salat 0815, für ein Schälchen Steaksoße wird ein Aufschlag verlangt. Preise deutlich zu hoch, alkoholfreies Hefeweizen 6,90 EUR, halte ich für übertrieben. Das Essen ebenfalls zu hochpreisig. Schade, aber wir kommen nicht wieder.

Anlaufstelle Nr. 1 für richtig gute Steaks! Das Servicepersonal ist freundlich, zuvorkommend, nicht aufdringlich und doch sehr bemüht. Die Gratwanderung gelingt super. Ambiente ist immer eine Geschmackssache, ich persönlich mag es etwas Moderner, dennoch hat die Ausstattung einen gewissen Flair auf mich ausgewirkt. Parkplatz direkt am Haus ist groß. Auch fan Ältere und Gehbehinderte wurde gedacht, eine Rampe lässt jeden Interessenten hinein.

Grandios. Ich war sehr angetan von allem. Der Geschmack erinnerte mich an frühere Besuche in meinem Steakhaus. Etwas teuer aber jeden Cent wert.

Wir waren zu zweit dort und haben ein Entrecôte und den Wildlachs bestellt. Beides hat wunderbar geschmeckt und war äußerst zart, selbst der Salat zum Essen war frisch und geschmackvoll, man merkte das dass Dressing und die Soßen mit dem gewissen etwas ,,der eigenen Note" zubereitet sind. Der Service von Pia war sehr nett und zuvorkommend, auf jedes Detail wurde geachtet. Vielen Dank für den netten Aufenthalt und Genuss. Wir kommen natürlich wieder und können es auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen.

Moin. ENTTÄUSCHEND!!! Meine Frau hatte gestern ihren 50 Geburtstag ( 01.10.2023) . Ein besonderer Anlass um ihn in einem gemütlichen Restaurant zu feiern. Ich hatte gegoogelt und bin auf das Porter House gestoßen! Bewertungen hörten sich positiv an. Leider sind wir böse enttäuscht wurden 😞! Am Freitag ( zwei Tage vor dem genannten Termin, war ich persönlich vor Ort und habe nen Tisch reserviert und mittgeteilt, welchen Anlass wir feiern) habe ich dann persönlich alles geklärt!! Wir erscheinen also am Sonntag und am Tisch kommt vom Service ein - Herzlichen Glückwunsch - 😳😩! Kein Sekt, keine Wunderkerze in einer Kugel Eis gesteckt.... NICHTS!! Ganz ehrlich, wir waren schon in Restaurants ( ( Rio Grande,Tunici in Norderstedt) die einen wesentlich besseren Service geboten haben, freundlicher und aufmerksamer waren, das Preis Leistungsverhältnis perfekt waren, als dieses arrogante und viel zu hoch gelobte Steak House!! Wir werden nie wieder dort einkehren, denn die Enttäuschung für diesen besonderen Tag sitzt zu tief!! 😩😞

Ja, es ist etwas teurer aber die Qualität ist hervorragend. Lachsfilet oder Grillteller, einfach großartig. Leider war für Nachtisch kein Platz mehr . Das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente klasse. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder

Wunderbarer Außenbereich, aufmerksamer Service. Einen Sternabzug für das Filet. Bestellt war medium plus, serviert wurde medium.

Leider ist man hier unflexibel. Auf die Frage, ob es etwas für Vegetarier gibt, kam die Antwort, wir wären im falschen Laden. Dann sollten wir sofort bestellen. Erst, als wir einfach nur doof aus der Wäsche geguckt haben und die Dame nicht weiter kam, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass man als Vegetarier die Beilagen bestellen kann. Wie macht ihr das bei Firmenfeiern oder anderen größeren Gruppen?
