Fantastic steakhouse that I would highly recommend. We had dinner, but there is also a varied lunch menu at realistic prices.

It's been a while since we've been there again and we're very impressed. Steaks were on point, side dishes were very tasty, service was good. The dessert was delicious and visually very appealing. Everyone was very happy! There is no non-alcoholic aperitif on the menu and unfortunately there are no bicycle parking spaces at all

Ordered 2× beef fillet steak -medium- (€30.00 per portion). After a maximum of 7 minutes, the food arrived. The fillet steak was served bleu/English/bloody (of course, given the short time). The waiter just said, “We’ll fry that up” and left with the plates. After 2-3 minutes he came again. But this meat was still far from the physical state of medium. Especially since I doubted the weight information as well as the fact that the chef should reconsider his career choice. We then tried to eat it........ TOUGH the whole thing!! I don't even want to list how it could have been done better. My grandma would have known more about the texture of meat!! The waiter tried to "buy" us with cappucino or espresso. Allowances don't help either. The food was terrible and the waiter still charged the FULL PRICE. Even though we left 80% of the fillet steak behind! How pathetic is that and how necessary "these poor, poor restaurateurs must have" to recognize a clear mistake in the kitchen and still collect in full! We never felt like full guests because the waiter tried to explain that our meat was now medium rare. A very pathetic attempt. What this restaurant didn't know/doesn't know; We are both master chefs in renowned Hamburg hotels. I'm even "Maitre de Cuisine" myself! But whatever. No one will ever let me in this restaurant again!!

The three of us were in Mendoza today, Due to the good reviews, we were looking forward to a delicious meal. So let's go: We sat down at an outside table and were greeted relatively coolly by an older Pakistani-looking gentleman who purposefully removed the remains of drinks from the table at a rapid pace, and the remains of ashes remained, as well as the somewhat sticky table. Well, we ordered drinks and were asked what we wanted to eat without being able to look at the menu. The older gentleman (I thought a lot about how I could describe him because I certainly don't want to offend anyone!) with the Indian or Pakistani appearance, who had a somewhat spongy face and the messy hair on the back of his head, seemed visibly annoyed because he had to run twice because of us. From this point on we felt like disruptors and not like welcome guests. My feeling was confirmed when he openly asked if he could bring me the starter (soup) at the same time as the main course. (the tone became increasingly colder). The food was really tasty, except for the little salt on the meat (there was salt and pepper at every other table), so we had to get salt from the next table, which the employee described simply took away from our table without comment. After the meal the drinks were also empty, which are probably not refilled in this restaurant because they remained empty. When we wanted to pay we had to ask the colleague because, although the previous employee was constantly sneaking around us, he suddenly disappeared. (The empty drinks were seen by both but ignored) Well, we had to ask twice so that we were "allowed" to pay and were put on the waiting list, because a few minutes after we asked and nothing happened, he served other tables, turned over the food there and collected it before we were last in line were. (It's a shame that we didn't have the other, extremely committed and nice-smiling waiter, then the tip would have been much more generous.) We wish the staff All the best, but we won't be coming back in person. 🥰

The Mendoza Steakhouse convinced me across the board. The food was simply outstanding - juicy, perfectly prepared steaks that melt in your mouth and side dishes that perfectly rounded off the taste experience. I would particularly like to emphasize the good quality of the meat, which really made every bite a pleasure. The service was also outstanding. The staff was not only extremely friendly, but also attentive and courteous without being intrusive. You can immediately tell that people work here with passion, and that contributes significantly to the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, a thoroughly successful evening! Mendoza Steakhouse is definitely a place I will happily come back to. Unreservedly recommended!

Food was good, but not bombastic, the RibEye steaks were a little too well done instead of medium, but still super tasty. The children's plate was completely forgotten, but in our case it wasn't a big deal, there was enough for everyone. The fried potatoes were a bit bland.

We have been to Mendoza Steakhouse several times now and each time it has been a pleasant experience. The food is always delicious and the quality of the dishes is consistently good. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly and polite service, which is always attentive and courteous. The rustic ambience of the restaurant creates a cozy atmosphere in which you feel comfortable and is ideal for a relaxed evening. It's not a place for big surprises, but that's the charm - you know what you're going to get and it's just solid. All in all, Mendoza Steakhouse is a restaurant you'll want to visit again and again. It's not fine dining, but you can definitely stop by for a good steak in pleasant surroundings.

The restaurant is very beautiful and also has a terrace! My meal was good, and there are meals for vegetarians! We had a very nice dinner!

A very nice restaurant with a rustic atmosphere. We were here for lunch today and what can I say? It was just great. The waiter was very attentive and super nice and friendly, always up for a joke. We really liked that. The food was really tasty, the steaks were cooked to perfection, juicy and tasty. The side dishes were also very good, not too greasy. Delicious! The prices for food and drinks are definitely reasonable. We will be back definitely.

Wir waren mit 12 Personen zum Mittagessen. Der Chef war anfangs ein bisschen nervös, aber nachdem wir alle gleichzeitig! unser warmes Essen serviert bekommen hatten, war er sichtlich entspannt und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen hat allen gut geschmeckt. Eine Portion war nicht genießbar, laut Aussage einer Teilnehmerin. Sie bekam umgehend eine neue bessere/ teurere Portion mit einem Putensteak und allem drum und dran. Das bestellte Gemüse für eine vegan lebende Teilnehmerin war frisch und knackig gedünstet. Alle waren sehr zufrieden. Es gibt für Gruppen einen abgetrennten Raum. Das hat uns auch sehr gefallen. Alles in allem war es ein gemütliches Beisammensein und das Essen war sehr gut! Nächstes Mal gerne wieder!❤️

Beim Essen wurden Beilagen erst auf Nachfrage gebracht. Der Mais war vergammelt und als wir darauf hinwiesen bekamen wir die Antwort, das hätten wir eher sagen müssen. Der Mais stand tatsächlich auf der Rechnung. Das restliche Essen war ungesalzen und schlecht gewürzt.

We were there for the second time this week and ordered the daily special of sirloin steak with broccoli, salad, sauce and potatoes. Plus a steak with extra corn. The sirloin steak was brought with bread, broccoli and salad upon request, which, broccoli was drowned in Bernais sauce, which didn't come with it. The entire meal was unseasoned and lacked salt. The corn came in an XXL portion, soft and smelly. When we said that the corn was bad, we were told that we should have said it sooner. He was actually on the bill for that. The evening was a disappointment with rotten corn…

Good morning, After a short break, we went back to the Mendoza Restaurant in Norderstedt and were once again surprised. Nice atmosphere, comfortable seating areas! Very good menu with different dishes. All recommended (there are always four of us who go out to eat and therefore there are always different and different dishes at the start 😀). Friendly, super personable and attentive service - the good man's name is Johnny. In short, a big compliment and thank you from the four of us for a successful Easter Monday and we can only warmly recommend the Mendoza! Many greetings from the 4 Wishes

Very nice service, even if a few things went wrong, it was still great! The food was great, filestaek super tender, burgers big and tasty Everything perfect!

When I was recently in the restaurant with my friends, we got a completely different impression than what a few people gave here. The waiter with the little ponytail was actually quite on the ball with us. Sure, he was at the table more often and wanted to take the order quickly, but we found this to be efficient and not annoying. You can tell that it's a popular store that tries to please everyone. Ordering and clearing things went quickly and without any problems for us. We appreciated the great attention, so that none of our glasses had to remain empty for long. He might not always have a smile on his face, but who knows what a long day the guy has had. I think we were served in a friendly and courteous manner, even without constant grins. The level was a little higher, which is why we had to clarify a bit when paying who had what, but that was handled easily and the confusion was quickly resolved. Everything was right straight away. Of course I can only speak from our table, but our dinner was great. The food came quickly, was warm and tasty. For that reason alone, the restaurant is worth a visit. In any case, we had a great evening and found the service good. Sure, it's not perfect, but who is? Will stop by again and try other dishes.

5/5 stars We recently had the pleasure of eating steak at this restaurant and were impressed from start to finish. The food was outstanding - every steak was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. But it wasn't just the food that was a highlight, but also the service: our waiter Jonny was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He made sure we didn't miss anything and made our first visit an unforgettable experience. The ambience of the restaurant also deserves praise. It is very well furnished, offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. You can easily spend a long time there without feeling bored or uncomfortable. It was our first time there and we have already decided that we would like to eat there once every month. It is rare to find such a positive experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can only warmly recommend this restaurant.

Our absolute favorite restaurant. From the service to the food - everything was TOP. Jonny in particular is always very courteous and thoughtful. We would love to come back and can recommend the restaurant.

I'm there almost every month, and again today. Waiters are always very attentive, food always comes quickly and tastes good. I regularly (intentionally) leave far too many tips here 😀 PS: Maybe add one or two more starters to the menu.

If the restaurant is 50% full, waiting an hour after ordering is not OK. Small portions and high prices round off the impression.

We had a birthday dinner with 10 people. Although 3 canceled at short notice, we were allowed to sit alone in the separate room at the end of the restaurant. At the beginning the waiter was at the table a bit too much, asking two or three times in quick succession what we wanted to eat. Since we didn't arrive at the same time and first greeted each other and started talking, his behavior seemed quite insensitive. When serving food and drinks, he sometimes pushed his way between the people sitting rather rudely and simply passed glasses and plates over instead of leaning over a little more and - as he should - putting them down himself. When picking up the plates, a similar behavior was followed by ordering the guests about which plate they wanted now. In between, no one asked whether everything was okay or whether anyone wanted to drink something else. After a very long wait, he eventually came back and we asked for the bill. A curt “everything together?” was the only answer. The subsequent splitting of the bill degenerated into absolute chaos. At first he only wrote down the items from 2 partial invoices (there were 4 in total). Two errors had already crept into them. Then two items appeared on the last invoice that actually should have been on one of the other invoices. He got mushy and demanded that someone pay for it now. There was also an item “Various drinks” for €1.50, which he couldn’t explain. The discussion became more heated when we told him that we were certainly not satisfied with his service (which is why he had received no or almost no tip). He obviously saw the whole thing differently and there was certainly no blame on his part. Although previous visits were okay, this store was the last we saw.

The service was so subpar that I now have to deign to give it a negative rating! Normally you just brush it off and move on with your life, but what happened today is almost maliciously bad. We were pushed to order, no manners from the waiter (annoyed hand gestures when clearing the plates, no questions about whether we could have something to drink (I had a whole Alster - the whole evening!), no smile, not a trace of friendliness) and then we were - and now comes the kicker - when the poor service was mentioned, the waiter also confronted him and asked for a discussion. The bill also had to be submitted several times because we had drinks on the slip that we never ordered or saw. Two paid separately, and there was a lot of confusion here, so much so that we had to clarify among ourselves who was giving how much to whom. As we were leaving the restaurant, we were stopped again in the dining room by the waiter with a small ponytail and had to discuss further - this time the topic of tips, which there were no tips. Bottomless. Meanwhile, I looked around the restaurant and marveled at empty glasses, empty dishes, and questioning faces throughout the store. It's clear that the waiter prefers to get upset like a peacock when he receives (justified) criticism. The food was okay, so a star of grace. **** Unfortunately, the owner wasn't there and the bar staff didn't speak any German, so the criticism is now going to hopefully the right person via this channel.

Food was wrong. Instead of exchanging the meat, the waiter started a discussion about what he would have asked. But I wanted beef and not poultry. He also got very confused with the drinks. He really wanted to be funny... didn't think his jokes were appropriate. Especially when things go wrong. Not my restaurant anymore...

Waited a long time, service overwhelmed

Unfortunately, the service employee was very unfriendly and inattentive during our stay. Main courses were solid. We were there with children and unfortunately had to actively ask to get a children's ticket. During the ordering process, the very direct and unfriendly tone was unpleasant. This was also noticed at the neighboring tables. The order arrived within an acceptable time frame. Unfortunately the first salad was swimming in balsamic vinegar and was unfortunately not edible. Was taken away after complaint. The second salad was drenched in French dressing but was edible and, according to the staff, was included with the schnitzel. Unfortunately the meat was medium instead of English. This was replaced immediately after a complaint. Otherwise it tasted good, although nothing special. Unfortunately, I recently had to have a longer discussion about the salads because one was not edible and the other was supposed to be included with the schnitzel. Unfortunately the stay wasn't nice for us. We will try other locations in the future.

Unfortunately it was really cramped and not comfortable at all. We were assigned a table where we were only 50 cm away from the table next to us (without trendy glass). The table was probably designed for 4 people and was simply pulled apart slightly. We could have shared a table with them. The food was tasty and the service was good.

The Mendoza has been really, really good in the past. But apparently there was a change of operator? The quality of the service and the food has deteriorated significantly for some time. The waiter was inattentive and unfortunately very forgetful. Food preparation and quality are now significantly worse than before. Bread dry, potatoes raw inside, steak sauce totally strange, fish platter a very small portion... Unfortunately, somehow nothing is right here anymore. That's really a shame!

I enjoyed the food very much. But when I ordered an apple strudel, it was very tough and, in my opinion, almost impossible to eat. Otherwise the food is always very tasty. The employees are nice and accommodating, but sometimes they take a little longer to come to you, even if the restaurant was only moderately busy. I find the atmosphere very nice, rustic and cozy.

Leckeres Essen, gute Bratkartoffeln. Leider oft wechselnde Bedienung. War u.a. zum Mittagstisch dort, American Salad mit Röstbrot ist sehr gut!

Wir waren etwas enttäuscht, da es ein spezielle Weihnachtskarte gab, von der uns nichts gesagt wurde. Es gab kein vegetarisches Gericht auf der Karte, und leider auch keinen leckeren Burger oder Lamm. Ansonsten war das Essen gut, am Allerbesten war die Service- Kraft, die uns über Probleme hinwies, und alles dafür getan hat, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Diese liebe Frau verdient 10 Sterne.

Spontan an einem Samstag Abend hier einen Tisch ergattert und wir waren begeistert. Preis Leistung passt Service Nett Ambiente wie man es von einem Steakhaus erwartet Was will man mehr?

Weihnachtskarte extrem viel teurer. Wiener Schnitzel normal mit z. B. Bratkartoffeln, Preiselbeeren und Salat € 22,90 , am Weihnachtstag nur mit Pommes ohne alles € 28,90, aber das Fleisch war sehr gut und ausreichend. Von meiner Gänsekeule war 1/3 essbar, der Rest war steinhart. Echt schade. Während des ganzen Essens knallte ständig die Tür und man zuckte ständig zusammen. Man wollte sich etwas überlegen, aber man hat es wieder vergessen. Generell waren die Kellnerinnen und Kellner sehr nett. Wenigstens hatte man Verständnis wegen der Reklamation und hat einen Cappuccino ausgegeben. Schade. ☹️

Service ist sehr gut. Allerdings wird das Essen nach dem Inhaberwechsel immer schlechter. Das Rumpsteak hat seit dem eine gummiartige Konsistenz, was laut Fleischexperten ein Beleg für billige Fleischqualität sein kann. Manchmal hat das Fleisch auch einen komischen Geruch (konnte ich nicht identifizieren, wo das herkommt) Zudem sind die Saucen durchweg nur noch eine undefinierbare Masse. Auch das Anrichten der Speisen ist mittlerweile lieblos auf den Teller geknallt und die Menge beim Mittagsgericht (Fleischanteil) ist sehr sehr übersichtlich. Schade...weil Service gut ist, aber der Inhaber spart am falschen Ende. Somit stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Da ich hauptsächlich wegen der Speisen ins Restaurant gehe, werde ich dieses Lokal nun meiden.

Wenn wir am Tisch unsere Tiramisu beanstanden, und man mehrfach nach dem Personal fragen muss und niemand kümmert sich...finde ich das sehr unfreundlich und abwertend..Und es war fast nix los im Restaurant

Ich bin hier ein paar mal zum Essen gewesen. Der Service ist sehr gut, die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam. Das eigentliche, weswegen ich in ein Steakhouse gehe, nämlich das Steak ist von mal zu mal schlechter geworden. Ich hatte heute wie beim letzten Mal ein sehr sehniges Steak mit der Konsistenz von Kaugummi.Beschwert habe ich mich nicht, hatte ich keine Lust zu. Das muss in einem Steakhouse einfach ein gutes Steak sein. Ich werde hier nicht mehr hingehen.

Sehr nette Bedienung, guter Service aber auch nicht so aufdringlich. Meine Extrawünsche wurden ohne Probleme erfüllt. Das Essen war köstlich. Mein Steak auf den Punkt genau Medium, Carpaccio sehr gut

Steaks sind immer wieder super, sofern man auf Fleisch steht ;-) Rundherum empfehlenswert, am Ende ist man immer Pappsatt (für einen akzeptablen Preis).

Waren kurz vor der Coronazeit da und wollten eigentlich nicht mehr hingegen. Hier muss sich was getan haben, wodurch alles in einem viel positiverem Licht darstellt und werden da nun regelmäßiger erscheinen. Weiter so!

Für mal eben zwischendurch etwas essen in Ordnung. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und höflich. Allerdings hatten die Bratkartoffeln sowie die Pommes einen unangenehmen Nachgeschmack. Das Fleisch war ok.

Leckeres Essen und immer eine Saisonkarte mit viel Auswahl

Der Laden sieht zwar toll aus und die Bedienung ist sehr bemüht, allerdings die Portion sehr klein und das Fleisch nichts besonderes.

Tolles Restaurant, man wird sehr herzlich empfangen, preis/Leistung/Qualität super, super professionelles Personal. Tische/ Bänke allerdings sehr eng und man kann nichts verrücken. Ich finde man braucht mehr Platz am Tisch. Aber sonst alles gut. Komme sehr gerne trotzdem wieder. Nächstes Mal schaue ich ob es einen Tisch gibt mit mehr Platz.......😜😜😜

Ein schönes Steakhaus. Die Einrichtung ist dunkel aber sehr gemütlich. Das freundliche Personal hat uns liebevoll empfangen und an unseren Tisch gebracht. Das Essen kam sehr zügig aus der Küche. Geschmacklich waren wir sehr begeistert. Der Burger war perfekt gebraten und sehr sehr lecker. Das Putensteak war ebenfalls perfekt gebraten. Sehr saftig und mit einem richtig guten Geschmack. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Essen war hervorragend, Ambiente angenehm. Hatten leider Probleme bei kleinerer Gruppe, dass erheblich mehr Getränke eingebongt, als bestellt wurden... außerdem ließ sich der Kellner selten blicken. Service hat noch Luft nach oben.

Waren hier mit 6 Personen Essen. Sie waren alle sehr zufrieden mit dem Essen.

Ein schönes Restaurant mit einer Sommerterrasse. Es gibt eine Mittagskarte eine Saisonkarte und eine a la Carte essen . Alles wird gut zubereitet , und auf den Punkt gegart. Das Ambiente ist einladend und der Service nett und zuvorkommend Extra Wünsche werden erfüllt. Auch wenn man nur etwas trinken möchte ist man hier gut aufgehoben. Ich komme gerne wieder

Das Huftsteak und der gemischte Salat waren gut. An der Freundlichkeit des Personals kann noch etwas gearbeitet werden. Der Außenbereich ist bei guten Wetter ok. Es störte nur der Straßenlärm.

War tatsächlich seit 5 Jahren nicht mehr hier und war sehr positiv von dem ganzen Lokal überrascht. Aber wirklich alles war stimmig und von hoher Qualität. Der Preis war im ersten Moment etwas, bei dem man ein wenig die Luft anhielt, aber er war gerechtfertigt. Sehr gute Qualität des Essens, schnelle Anrichtung und Bedienung, alles sehr nett und freundlich. Ein wirklich gutes Steakhouse.

Einst war ich Stammgast in diesem Restaurant über viele Jahre. Seit einigen Monaten geht es massiv bergab. Zwar versucht der Service im Gastraum die Mängel der Küche durch Freundlichkeit auszugleichen, aber ich gehe ja nun mal hauptsächlich wegen der Speisen in ein Restaurant. Was die Küche seit einigen Monaten abliefert ist der negative Wahnsinn. Bei jedem Essen stimmt der Grad vom Steak nicht annähernd. Auch das Fleisch hat insgesamt nicht mehr die Qualität von früher. Das war vor einem Jahr noch nicht so. Ganz schlimm ist das American Dressing im Salat. Früher fantastisch, jetzt eine undefinierbare Pampe. Ekelhaft. Ich gehe dort nicht mehr hin.
