I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The service was truly awful and ruined the entire meal. The lady serving us was incredibly rude and completely unhelpful. When I asked for sauce (which is supposed to be free), she ignored me the first time. After I asked again, she suddenly claimed I had to pay €2 for it. This attitude was frustrating and unprofessional. The food quality was just okay, but the poor service really overshadowed any positives. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, as a friendly and helpful staff is just as important as the food itself. Avoid if you expect decent customer service.

Preferably zero stars!!! I have never seen such unfriendly employees in my life, they are simply sent out even though it is open. The employees are screaming at each other! We're never coming back! Luckily not a euro was left there!!!

Food that was explicitly declared gluten-free still contained gluten, which for a person suffering from celiac disease means direct, irreversible physical damage, not to mention the staff, who were extremely overwhelmed, and the 15 (!) minute waiting time for a tiny portion of fries with sauce. When food is declared gluten-free, getting something containing gluten is tantamount to bodily harm. The operators are walking on very thin ice here.

The food was fine, but the service simply incompetent. First, they randomly take a break at 6 pm for 30 minutes. Second, they forget people's orders and serve others first (maybe their friends?). And finally, the fridge took a break too as my Coke was warm. The Currywurst is good, the fries just like grocery store fare and not crunchy. Avoid this place, it is not worth it.

On the upper floor (4th floor) next to many other small food providers we found the narrow shop “French Friends” in the MyZeil. Everything is very cramped and really not inviting. Food in the menu (2x different fries with sauces, 2 burgers, 2 drinks) for 30€!!!!! Unfortunately, the portions were so small - really not a highlight. The burgers were juicy and very tasty. For the fact that you give yourself such a name and then the fries are so poor... the Five Guys would have been around the corner, I would have preferred to go there - unfortunately I can't recommend fries friends so easily 😞

Eat good. Sometimes very narrow and crowded. Please note: a deposit will be charged on bottles. However, there is no reference to the return of a deposit, but rather the return of dishes and bottles. It doesn't work at all!

What can I say about this... Very unfriendly employee, no dishes are available because they don't have everything there. My partner's burger was cold and there were strange crispy bits in her burger. My plant based nuggets tasted like crap. And the drink wasn't even chilled and completely overpriced. I'll be honest that this was my first food disappointment all year. I can't recommend it

Soggy fries. Tables where leftover food is not cleared away. Lazy service, generally not willing to work and give instructions. I won't come again.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this store at all. The service staff seem completely demotivated, leave you standing at the counter for a long time and shout to each other that the other should take care of us. Instead of giving us a choice between thick and thin fries or toppings on the currywurst, we were simply presented with the standard menu of currywurst and fries without comment, which tasted very average and wasn't convincing in terms of quantity. The only plus point was the self-service with the various sauces. We won't be coming back again due to the unfriendly service and the price-performance ratio.

Unfriendly staff, food has a mediocre taste (fries weren't even salted) and some of the currywurst wasn't seasoned either. When ordering you have to wait outside the store. (Overpriced)

The food is quite good for fast food, but very expensive. The appearance of the store - crowded, dirty, leftover food everywhere you can imagine it. Extra requests will only be honored if the customer is persistent.

Actually it no longer deserves a star but a minus. Maybe the quality of the meat and fries is still good. As long as you don't lose interest in it when you order. You are greeted with an annoyed look. Before it was my turn, the waitress hissed at two teenagers that she was about to refill the ketchup. Then she rolls her eyes and argues with me about my order because I didn't want a menu but only fries and veg nuggets and no drink. I said how poor I found their service and left. Almost all other reviews show that this service scares away guests. A few years ago the store was always packed. Now the guests can fight for seats. And please spare me your polite answers and decisions. Nothing will change as long as people like them are employed.

For the second time, no service was received because no one was there.

I visited French fries friends in MyZeil on May 31, 2024, at 8 p.m. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience due to the exceptionally rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff, particularly the lady at the billing counter. Ate fries there for the first time, they were juicy and topped well. Nice and crispy on the inside, soft and very well seasoned, not too much, not too little.

Staff hold private conversations in a foreign language while you wait to be served even though the store is almost empty. Food is too expensive for the money, I find the staff annoying. There are much better sausage stands in Frankfurt than this one. First and last visit.

They charge a deposit for eating here and if they ask, I say the deposit but I wouldn't give it back. Is cheeky. The burgers were small and nothing special in terms of taste. Simple cheap rolls that work better. My first and last visit. The meal was paid for by ourselves. We were served by the service person wearing a headscarf.

The service person with the headscarf spoiled my entire stay! She wanted to sell me the old fries that were still swimming in fat instead of making thin ones. When the fries were ready, she didn't have a nice word to say and looked on while she ate with an evil eye.

French fries with filling, cost 7€. The potatoes themselves were not bad, but I didn’t like the completely burnt bacon. Compared to a similar place that also serves French fries with different toppings, the choice here is small, only 3 types of toppings. And it tastes much better in Frittenwerk. But there are also burgers and a menu of burgers, potatoes and a drink. It's self-service.

Food ok. But the man at the fryer who was supposed to prepare the food did nothing except yell at the poor woman at the checkout in another language. So eating there was not fun, very rude, unprofessional and disruptive. Everyone worked forever for their food because he also refused to work for some inexplicable reason. The woman then did it all herself. These conditions in this store are unbearable. How can a boss tolerate something like that? I'll never go there again.

I do not know. At a restaurant that has fries in its name, you expect more than thin frozen fries that you can make at home. The portions are very small. Far too small for the price. The worst thing, however, was that the fries with chilli con carne were more like fries with a bit of chilli sauce. Meat neither felt nor tasted. Had 4 beans in it. For 3 euros, this portion would be fine. Not for the €6.50. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was nice. Good thing there are halal options.

Ganz schlecht. Der Burger hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Die Patties waren von mieser Tiefkühl-Qualität. Die Pommes waren ok. Wir haben 2 double Cheeseburger(halal) bestellt

Wir waren am gestrigen Tag dort mit unseren beiden Kindern und waren begeistert! Die Kinder wollten pommes und haben sich vor Ort teilweise umentschieden so dass wir ein hamburger Menü sowie ein cheeseburger Menü und so eine kids Box genommen haben. Anfangs waren wir skeptisch denn in der Vorweihnachtszeit ist ja doch alles sehr hektisch! Aber die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und unsere Kinder willkommen. Leider gab es keine süßkartoffel pommes mehr und der Mitarbeiter teilte uns mit dass er noch welche macht sofern er welche findet. Gab es leider nicht mehr aber dazu gab es ein Schälchen pommes mit avocado/quark/tomate. Der Burger und die pommes waren super und meine beiden Kinder haben beide die Überraschung des Kids Menü bekommen obwohl wir nur eines bestellt hatten. Also top! Wir werden euch wieder besuchen :)

Ich war mit einem Kumpel am Freitag da, war Mega essen war super und Bedienung super nett. Das nächste mal wenn ich in Frankfurt bin, gehe ich da wieder essen.

Leider hat mich das Essen gar nicht überzeugt. Es wurde einfach alles drauf geklatscht und es sah nicht mehr so appetitlich aus. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett.

Ich hatte den Chilli Cheeseburger. Die Größe des Burgers war normal. Der Burger ( Fleisch, Sauce und Käse) war sehr sehr lecker. Kann ich weiterempfehlen. Der Preis ist völlig in Ordnung.

Bei den Pommes Freunden solltest du keine Pommes essen. Nicht fertig frittiert und wabbelig. Und das für 4,50€! 2 Sterne nur weil es viele Dip‘s zur Auswahl gibt die man sich selbst „zapfen“ kann.

Pommes waren lecker und knackig, leider hat die Zubereitung überdurchschnittlich lange gedauert. Von den Sossenbehältern waren 2 Sossen doppelt (Majo und Ketchup) und 2 leer oder defekt. Die Tische an denen man ausharren muss sind auch nicht besonders sauber, von den 4 Tischen draussen waren 2 vollgemüllt, das mag auch daran liegen, das es draussen keine Möglichkeit gibt seinen Müll loszuwerden und man dazu in den Laden zurück und an der Warteschlange vorbei muss. Von den hier bei den Antwortenen angepriesenen Hygieneschulungen merkt man nichts, das ist ja wie man liesst nicht "nur ausnahmsweise" so.

Sehr schönes Ambiente und nette Mitarbeiterin

Wir gehen sonst immer ins Main-Taunus-Zentrum zu Pommes Freunde, da dort immer alles gepasst hat. In dieser Filiale sollte jedoch mehr darauf geachtet werden, dass die Pommes auch richtig durch sind und nicht die halbe Portion roh ist. Auch die Wurst war leider nicht richtig durch.

Portion ist viel zu klein für diese Preise. Zudem wären mehr vegane Saucen Option besser. Pommes waren gut gewürzt aber nicht gleichmäßig gewürzt. Die Burger haben wir nicht probiert, sahen aber gut aus. Habe mich nur gefragt, ob für die Menüs die Pommes dabei ist, oder man sie extra kaufen muss. Mehr Sitzmöglichkeiten wären auch gut, aber neben Pommes Freunde auf beiden Seiten gibt es Restaurants,das wäre vielleicht schwer umzusetzen.

Essen war in Ordnung. Pommes fand ich sehr mittelmäßig und hätten gerne noch etwas länger in der Fritteuse bleiben können. Kritikpunkt ist das es nur 2 Leute im Laden gibt(einer kocht und bedient und einer der nur kocht). Dementsprechend ist der Laden dreckig. Man kann sich nicht hinsetzen ohne den Tisch selber sauberzumachen.

Lange Wartezeit für zwei Portionen Pommes. Wir haben den falschen Cut bekommen (dicke statt dünne) und Ketchup war auch leer und konnte oder wollte nicht nachgefüllt werden. Überteuert und nicht zu empfehlen!

Ich hatte die normale Portion Pommes mit Currywurst bestellt. Die Pommes waren lecker, die Currywurst leider gar nicht empfehlenswert. Die Mitarbeiterin an der Theke war nett.

Redelijk lekker maar niks bijzonders eigenlijk het was wel leuk dat je onbeperkt je eigen sausen kon pakken maar de frietjes mochten wel wat lekkerder , wat ook gel was was dat de dikke en de dunnen frietjes precies dezelfde formaat hadden

Venimos de paso por el Centro comercial con un poco de hambre, hemos visto el local y nos ha llamado la atención, al entrar nos atendieron bien, pero es una pena si las papas hubiesen estado caliente y la Coca Cola fría hubiese sido una grata experiencia! Pero fue todo lo contrario! Y hemos reclamado por la bebida caliente y su respuesta fue , que la acaban de poner en la nevera, lo cual pienso que deberían comunicárselo al cliente antes de venderla!

One of the best burger I've ever eaten

Pommes waren wirklich lauwarm bis kalt… Bei meiner Beschwerde schüttete die Bedienung die Pommes auf ein Tablet und griff beherzt rein um mir mitzuteilen das die Pommes warm wären… Sorry aber wer das mit Pommes macht die angeblich gerade aus der Fritteuse kommen würde sich wohl die Hand verbrennen.. Unfreundlich wurden mir neue angeboten aber ich habe dankend abgelehnt…

Eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsimbisse/Restaurants in Frankfurt. Die Burger sind super lecker und die Pommes auch erstklassig. Die tolle Soßenauswahl zum Selbstbedienung rundet alles nochmal ab. Je nach Uhrzeit muss man etwas auch einen freien Tisch warten und dann steht man dichtgedrängr aneinander. Aber nichts destotrotz immer wieder gerne.

Die Pommes sind mega lecker aber was ich etwas heftig finde ist eine Einzelne Wust für 4,45€ das ist schon heftig.

Pommes und Saucen lecker, die Currywurst brauch ich kein 2. Mal. Unfreundlicher Service, man bestellt Essen fürs Lokal und bekommt ne takeaway Tüte hingestellt… Insgesamt zuviel Müll (Wegwerf-Besteck, Tüten und Essenverpackungen), nachhaltig ist anders!
