Pommes Freunde in München

Der Smashburger war ok, jedoch leider überteuert. Bei den angezeigten Menüpreisen ist nicht ganz leicht ersichtlich, dass die Preise für Getränk und Soße noch dazukommen.

Tja… früher fast schon Kult, heute nur noch durchschnittliche Pommes. Wer Pommes für 6€ verkauft und die Papp Schüssel dann nur ½ voll ist braucht sich nicht wundern. Früher gab es eine kleine Theke mit einer Vielzahl verschiedener Saucen, heute nur noch Mayo und Ketchup. Weitere „Premium Saucen“ müssen gegen Aufpreis dazu gekauft werden. 👎🏽 Natürlich kann ich in den Stachus Passagen keine ruhige und gemütliche Atmosphäre erwarten, aber ich möchte doch auch einigermaßen normal meine Pommes verspeisen.

Waren für 2 Tage in München und sind in der Stachus Passage zufällig auf diesen Laden gestoßen. Aber was das Personal hier zaubert ist der Hammer. Das war mit Abstand der beste Burger (Signature Double) den ich jemals gegessen habe. Auch die Onionrings....der Hammer. Also den Namen "Pommesfreunde" werde ich mir auf jeden Fall merken.

Richtig unfreundlicher Service, der Mitarbeiter ist hinten am Handy und lässt dir Leute warten obwohl um 12 Uhr eigentlich ja etwas los sein muss. Nie wieder Pommes Freunde !!

Achtung preis ist nicht der, der drinnen steht. Auf dem Display 18€ auf dem Karten-Terminal 19€ Mitarbeiter äußerst unfreundlich. Keine Klare Preisauskunft, kein Service. Sind dann zum M gegangen, da weiß man was man bekommt, schade dass der gute erste Eindruck noch vor Abgabe der Bestellung enttäuscht werden konnte.

Achten Sie mal bitte darauf, dass ihr Personal die Gäste freundlich behandelt. Die Art mit der Ihre ausländischen Mitarbeiter uns behandelt haben ist nicht angemessen. Man pampt keine Gäste an "was wills du, was?!?" Ich bitte Sie dem Einhalt zu gebieten, sonst war das unser letzter Besuch bei Ihnen.

Der Service war nicht auf Arbeit konzentiert, telefoniert nur und hat meine Bestellung falsche aufnommen und war boese auf seinen eingenen Fehler. Das war nicht im Ordnung.

Einfach top für den schnellen Hunger! Mit der Kombi aus Currywurst und Pommes macht man hier absolut nichts falsch. Super lecker und die Currysauce ist ein echtes Highlight. Richtig cool finde ich auch die Auswahl an Gratis-Saucen für die Pommes. Da ist wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

Ganz leckere Pommes. Ich mag es, die Pommes in Mayo einzutauchen und die Pommes mit Mayo zu genießen. Ganz, ganz lecker. Die Pommes sind dicke und schön cross. Sehr sehr lecker 👍🏻

Die Currywurst war gut, und für ein Schnellrestaurant ist es in Ordnung. Die kostenlosen Soßen sollte man unbedingt probieren. Das Lokal sieht gut aus und bietet Sitzplätze. Die Preise sind durchschnittlich. Der Kellner hat einen super Job gemacht, vor allem, weil er alleine war und die lange Schlange bedienen musste, obwohl der Selbstbedienungsautomat kaputt war.

Currywurst ist OK. Pommes ware fade. Bedienung sehr unfreundlich. Hat uns die Currywurst mehr oder weniger auf die Theke geklatscht. Leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Essen smash Burger Menü zwar 14 Euro aber nur der Burger 7 Euro was für den Geschmack ein guter Preis ist auch sehr gute Pommes in dgute kostenlose Soßen nur Käse Soße würde ich noch empfehlen zum hinzufügen

Also für neun Euro finde ich die Portion etwas happig. Ich dachte zuerst, dass er die Wurst vergessen hatte, weil ich auf den ersten Blick keine gesehen habe. Aber ist vielleicht nicht zum satt werden gedacht, keine Ahnung.

Leider scheint der Mitarbeiter einen nicht zu verstehen und man bekommt die falsche Bratwurst in seiner doppelten Currywurst. Obwohl ich ihm zweimal gesagt hatte, dass ich keine rote Bratwurst möchte, lies er die rote drinnen und packte einfach eine helle drüber! Unverschämt!

Meine Freunde und ich waren bei Pommesfreunde essen und haben jeweils eine Currywurst mit Pommes bestellt. Geschmacklich war zunächst alles in Ordnung, nichts hat komisch geschmeckt. Allerdings bekamen wir alle etwa 1–2 Stunden später starke Bauchschmerzen. Bei mir kam sogar noch Erbrechen dazu. Das ist natürlich sehr unangenehm und wirft Fragen zur Hygiene oder zur Frische der Zutaten auf. So etwas sollte in der Gastronomie einfach nicht passieren. Wir werden dort definitiv nicht noch einmal essen.

Das Essen war klasse. Leider gab es manche Sachen nicht, deswegen Abzug. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich allerdings etwas hektisch obwohl es nicht so gut besucht war.

Without all the sauces, you might as well go anywhere else. Unfortunately, it's no longer worth the money due to the loss of its unique selling point.

My wife was waiting for an extremely long time for her food. During that time, they gave her order away over and over again, leaving a few fries each time. They would catch the leftovers and refry them. By the time my wife got her order, she got a bunch of scraps that were refried about a dozen times and absolutely inedible. The nuggets were the same. To put it in perspective, I had eaten my entire dinner at another establishment by the time she got her food. The whole time, the food safety was shocking as the manager and employee were touching food and cash payment all with no gloves. I wish we could get a refund for the experience. It was absolutely shocking! At the end, my wife just said "I should have gotten McDonalds." You know it's bad when it's worse than McDonalds!

Basically good… You get what you expect from a chip shop. But it's the little things that make all the difference. I ordered a currywurst with (thick) fries and received a portion where the currywurst and sauce were lukewarm at best (keeping it warm under the heat lamp doesn't work, definitely insist on a freshly prepared portion!), a bottom layer of cold, thin fries (which apparently had been put under the heat lamp to cool down along with the sausage), and on top of that, a layer of super-delicious, hot, thick(!) fries. Fun fact: while I was still waiting for my food, an older woman came to the counter and was handed a fresh sausage from the grill "for free" (?). If I had to guess, it was the mother of the guy behind the counter… which I wouldn't have minded if I'd gotten that hot sausage…

The currywurst here is highly recommended. It's nicely seasoned and a bit spicy, but not too hot.

Belgian fries 🍟 thick or thin, and as much delicious sauce as you like! Highly recommended!

Ordered a Doppler Smash double bacon cheeseburger. After complaining, I took the bag back. I quickly grilled the bacon, which was still soft and not crispy at all. I got the bag back, but by now the fries were almost cold. I emptied the sauce into a paper bag, and there was no napkin. That was probably not good.

I love fries friends, the service is almost always fast and the food is delicious.

I used to like Pommes Freunde a bit better – the sausage is okay, but not outstanding. It's a shame there's less of a selection of sauces these days. On the plus side, they also offer hot dogs and hamburgers on the menu alongside fries, which adds variety. Overall, it's solid, but there's a bit of room for improvement.

The best fries I've had in Munich so far. I'm so glad I discovered them.

Defamation because of an honest review? It's been rumored that deleted reviews only cause more trouble for you, and then you get even more bad reviews. Here's my experience again: the fries were dripping with grease and were mostly small crumbs, and the sauce station was barely usable because it's not cleaned. I wouldn't eat here again.

Note: My review has been removed several times, which I find a bit of a shame, as I simply wanted to share my honest experience. Unfortunately, by 7 p.m., some of the dishes were no longer available, presumably because closing time was approaching. The floor was quite wet and slippery at this point, and the tables didn't look freshly cleaned, which made the overall impression a bit messy. There were minor communication issues at the checkout, as the employees speak limited German. Overall, the place didn't seem very inviting.

If you want something quick to eat, you can fill yourself up here. There are also great vegan alternatives!

I had a currywurst. The fries were crispy and delicious, and the sausage was tasty too. It was thick, but I read it with a smile. Still, it wasn't bad. There was no racism, but I guess it was part-timer by part-timer.

The food was cold as soon as I ordered it. I was served after all the other customers, who all ordered after me, without exception. The server didn't add the drink or the guacamole I had ordered. For an establishment that wasn't overworked at the time of my order, this is shameful. One star for the sweet potato fries, which, despite being cold, tasted good.

I don't know why I even go there. I'm regularly served by unmotivated people. There are few seats and the floor is dirty. Everything feels uninviting.

Ordered chili cheese fries from Pommes Freunde again today. Last time, the portion was really filling, but this time I was really shocked and disappointed. The portion size had been reduced by almost half. It's really outrageous: children's portions for the same price. Never again!!

Why pay around €30 for a meal to be delivered, only for the fries and burger to arrive cold? I could have just as easily bitten into a towel and it would still have been juicier than the burger you delivered. The sauce that was ordered separately was of course missing. The delivery took 45 minutes even though the distance was 1.7 km. The order was placed today, May 16, 2025. I find it astonishing how a chain like this, which is completely convincing with other branches, such as your branch in the OEZ, cannot manage to deliver the same level of quality and service. I'm sorry, but this is a real disaster.

The plant based chicken burger was super tasty. The russet onions in particular went very well with it. Ordering is also super easy

Bad service, I ordered through a delivery service, the burger was missing, the fries were soggy and cold. Since the snack bar doesn't respond to the delivery service, I'm stuck with the additional costs for goods that weren't delivered, never again

The employee mentions on his own initiative that the meal he just ordered (vegan currywurst) is on offer today. Very friendly and hardworking. Food delicious. It's just a snack bar in an arcade and not a restaurant, which is why half a star is deducted for the ambience;)

The little burger joint that always serves quality food surprised me today. Everything else with the great location and the good food left me almost speechless (in a good way) this afternoon. In fact, they had hired a mute guy who was really cool, motivated and personable to serve food. It's hard to find an attitude (also diverse) with a high level of competence and a smile these days. I wish him my best and thank you for the burger.

Unfortunately disappointing! I was there at 6 p.m. and both the cashier and the person preparing the food seemed completely overwhelmed, rude and absolutely amateur. Communication was difficult because they obviously didn't understand me properly. Although I had specifically ordered "takeaway", the order was given to me incorrectly. Instead of correcting the mistake in a friendly manner, I was spoken to in an unpleasant manner in front of all the other guests - although it was obviously not my fault. First I received the burger after 10 minutes. After another six minutes I had to ask myself where the fries and the Coke were. This kind of organization is unacceptable. The biggest annoyance: Instead of the Smash Burger I ordered, I received a simple ready-made burger and cold fries, the quality of which was nothing like what was advertised. I might as well go to McDonald's for that - and that's exactly what I will do in the future. It's a shame, but such amateur service leaves a very negative impression.

Very friendly staff and yummy but too much Overpriced

I had an amazing experience at Pommes Freunde! The fries were perfectly crispy, and the burger was absolutely delicious. The highlight was the chef who prepared my meal—so friendly and welcoming, with a big smile. He explained that everything they serve is halal, including the bacon, which was a wonderful touch. Great food, fantastic service, and a warm atmosphere—highly recommend for anyone in Munich!

You order loaded fries and two ingredients are missing, when you ask they say they are out - but you can pay the full price and won't be told.... Sorry, but that doesn't work at all

You are simply ignored, you are expected to only order via the terminal.

The inside of the shop is a bit narrow and small, but the taste of the food is great and there is also a halal option.

The hamburger for €9 and the hot dog for €7 were not worth the money. Nothing special in terms of taste.

Ordered: 2x DoubleCheeseBurgers with only 1x slice of cheese each Receive: 2x burgers with a total of 4 slices of cheese, without anything. No tomatoes, no lettuce, nothing. It would be advisable to hire people who at least understand something of what is being said to you.

There's nothing wrong with the food at all. But I am always negatively surprised at how unfriendly, inefficient and unmotivated the service is. They make a face, just smile at their compatriots, stand around for 10 minutes even though the order has been paid for via the terminal and then, at some point, when they feel like it, they tip the fries into the deep fryer. If the food wasn't good, I wouldn't set foot in here.

My visit to fries friends This little snack seems ridiculous at first glance, but it's actually great! If you wind your way to the counter, you can see the beautiful structure of it decorated snacks. This snack bar is hard to reach by car as it is in a subway station and in the city, so there is not much parking. But it is perfectly accessible by public transport. If you don't live near here, you don't have to worry, as there are French fries friends everywhere in Munich! Finally you see the menu. Lots of dishes like fries, burgers, currywurst or even children's menus. The food here is also Halal (Muslim proper), which costs €0.50 extra. Vegetarians hardly have anything to eat here apart from fries. The currywurst is very tasty and tastes great. The burger is very juicy with the perfectly grilled patty, crispy lettuce, fresh tomatoes and lukewarm bread. Everything melts at the tip of your tongue. Together with the fries it is the perfect combination. Now about the staff. The staff is reasonably friendly and polite, but they do not pay attention to specific instructions such as no salad. For “fast food” the food here is clearly overpriced. Overall, my visit was enjoyable. Recommended.

A young girl with glasses took my order, hot dog, very unfriendly, I asked for a bag, she slapped a bag on the corner. Soooo disrespectful and angry. I went to work I opened the bag my hot dog looked empty she just put sausage in bread and didn't give it the usual sour curd and other ingredients. Definitely never there again, the girl should learn how to work in a service instead of serving the customers angrily and showing a little respect

So, after unfortunately being unlucky with twoFrench Friends branches in recent years, I was more or less rewarded here at Stachus. I saw an offer on the TooGoodtogo app, took advantage of it and then came to pick it up. The nice guys at the snack bar only had fries, but I got a really nice big portion of sweet potato fries. Two sauces (mayo and cocktail sauce) are even included for free. And I was even allowed to eat my fries in the snack bar. I am severely disabled and therefore I am very grateful for that. And also in terms of food, unfortunately you rarely get such great sweet potato fries. Even though they were just before closing time, they were still really fresh, nice and crispy on the outside and nice and fluffy on the inside. Unfortunately, I don't know many shops that do it as well as you do. The seating options in the snack bar are only functional, but really okay and suitable. Conclusion: I'll definitely be happy to come to Stachus and come back soon. I would also like to try other things than just fries.

Have become really expensive. If the fries are freshly fried, this is bearable. But if they're lukewarm fries, that's not sustainable.

Burger was pretty good and there were lots of sauces to choose from for the fries too. Unfortunately due to lack of space I had to order take away, but that didn't bother me at all.

A small thin fries cost €4.45 and he could only give me 50 cents because he didn't have any other change. So he cheated me out of 5 cents, and from a feeling he even did it several times because it sounded very indifferent. You can also increase profits if you do this to many customers. In addition, they were only lukewarm and had been sitting around for a long time. Therefore, I can only advise against this snack, and even the one star is far too much.

🌭 I always come to the French fries friends here at Karlsplatz Stachus (shopping arcade in the basement) and it has always tasted the same for years. I like it! As always, the staff are quick and friendly, even though it's really all hell breaking loose here. Only because of the price structure (namely in the absolutely upper range for POTATO) four instead of five stars, otherwise everything is fine.

Man darf nicht zu viel erwarten, für einen Mittagssnack geschmacklich ok. Wir haben uns für die dicken Pommes entschieden, die aber leider während des Essens stark auseinander gefallen sind und generell etwas fad waren. Preise sind in Ordnung, der Service ist ausbaufähig.

Mit meiner Teeny'Tochter da gewesen: Portiongröße und Qualität für 9 Chicken Nuggets und mittlere Pommes eher "übersichtlich". Letztere haben auch absolut nichts mit dem Firmennamen gemeinsam. Ich schätze, dass war unser erster und einziger Besuch dieser Kette. P.S. meiner Tochter hat es geschmeckt

I feel sorry to the owner this shop for write down this review, but i went to many local restaurant during my trip run by local munich citizen people are nice more than i expected, but to be honest the asian man im not sure serve unfriendly way to us We ordered two menu and my husband just want to get sausage if i was ur employee i will recommend the menu which has only sausage and chips instead of say "we dont sell only sausage!!" It's easy, i feel nervous during order because he speak unfriendly way, we also want to order quickly since another guest also waiting. Just some tips better put the number in every menu to make easier :) We didnt touch the food which served with drama :)

The taste of the potato was okay. The sauce is nice but need more flavour. Everything seems like to be frozen before so don’t expect to be that fresh made. Overall was okay 👌🏻

20min angestanden, 25 min auf einen Burger gewartet, Boden war sehr dreckig, ein Mitarbeiter lief mehrfach an uns vorbei und fluchte mit schlimmen Kraftausdrücken vor sich hin. Der Burger war ganz ok. Atmosphäre schlecht!
