Pommes Boutique in München

I had a burger sandwich. The taste was okay, but not exceptionally good. The many different sauces were all very good. I can really only recommend it. The price/performance ratio was good and the service was also appropriate. The ambience was rather simple, but ok. The restaurant is fine for a quick snack.

Favorite shop for fries in Munich! Recommended!!

I was at the store for lunch. The ambience is nothing special but clean and clear. The service was friendly and the ordering went smoothly. When it comes to paying, I don't think it's a good thing that you can't pay with your cell phone but have to insert the card. I had the regular beef burger with Belgian fries. The burger tasted like it had already been put through the dishwasher. Meat was not seasoned, “special sauce” had no taste. Even the flagship fries were almost unseasoned. The only good thing was the Samurai Sauce, a homemade chili mayo. But you can really save these €18. Not recommended.

The 5th ⭐ is for the sausages and burger patties with meat from Herrmannsdorfer Höfen (👍organic meat)!!! Super delicious fries with lots of different sauces, all to try one after the other! Small restaurant with limited seating. Simple seating and furnishings.

Beautiful, delicious food spot. The ox shred sandwich was a bit sparsely topped. The fries were on point, but I managed to get rid of the little leftovers. Good selection of sauces.

Unfortunately not recommended as a currywurst fries spot! As nice as the alpine hut-style decoration may seem, we were disappointed with the currywurst/frits combo... the question of #why is the mini grilled sausage (even if it comes from a renowned house) like that with a currywurst has little to do - like a meatball bun with a burger! We felt like we got the combination better and cheaper (#price_performance) in every outdoor pool snack bar....By the way: the trend of selling steak fries as Belgian fries is not really that nice :-(

I eat here more often, generally good quality, but with certain fluctuations.

My family and I have been to Fries Boutique a few times in the past. The Belgian fries there have always been very good, which was also the reason why we went there again this time after we hadn't been to Munich for a while. As always, the fries were beautifully prepared. They had a very nice crispy bite on the outside and were soft on the inside. However, this time the variety used was very poor in taste, i.e. they hardly tasted like potatoes. In the past I would have definitely given it between 4 and 5 stars, but this time I only gave it three because of the very neutral taste. What has deteriorated greatly, however, is the cleanliness of the restaurant. For this reason, my family and I will no longer go there. Both the tables and chairs (including the chair backs) were extremely sticky. So you couldn't even sit down comfortably. This meant that we didn't feel comfortable in any way. To be honest, we found it a bit disgusting and for this reason we won't be going to the Fries Boutique again, even if the staff were friendly.

Very good fries and delicious vegan currywurst made from Seitan. There are also many different sauces to choose from. 👍🏼

If you are looking for delicious fries and a large selection of different sauces, this is the right place. It. There are also more unusual things like fries with cheese sauce and chili. There are also classics such as currywurst and various burgers.

The burger is really delicious!!! The burger with sauce made from johannisbeere is especially unique. I thought it wouldn't suit me, but it's really delicious. They added plenty of pomegranate sauce and I was able to eat whatever sauce I wanted. I packed it up and ate it at the English Garden, and I was really full. The staff was also really friendly. If I go back to Munich, I definitely want to visit again.

We got currywurst with fries to take away - the currywurst was the worst we've ever eaten. The sausages were "dead-cooked" in this mush called curry sauce. The fries were ok for us, we like them a little salty. The attempt to keep the sausages crispy by frying them a little failed miserably. For 3x double currywurst with fries, almost 45 euros, it wasn't a budget option, but the currywurst at the fries stand in front of the hardware store actually tastes better and is much cheaper

Nice fries boutique. The tip machine thing is just annoying. Fries 5.5€ plus 1€ tip and not in percent is really cheeky.

Nice place. Fries were great but a bit more expensive. I would say that the fries don't gain any more flavor thanks to the garlic-herb version, the sauces are enough. Belgian-inspired but vegetarian is a plus in my opinion.

I like the concept of choosing your own dips. The currywurst is fine, the curry sauce taste and texture is good. Frites were cooked just right. It's a nice meal but perhaps just a touch expensive, although it is Munich after all. It was €10,8 for the vegan version. The dips are also indicated which are vegan. I didn't have the energy to taste them all.

Normally always 5/5, even if it has become expensive over the years, but that's just how it is. This is the second time this year that I've had a raw burger. Of course something like that happens, but I've never had it in the 2 years before.

The team is super nice, the shop is beautifully decorated and the food looks great. BUT, whoever says he/she makes real Belgian fries must also use beef fat, or at least offer it as an option. And the fact that it has to be edible for vegetarians is not a good reason. You can also have 2 deep fryers. And most people I saw there ate meat or fish with it. A pity. But very nice as I said.

We were kicked out of the store at 8:45 p.m. (closing time at 10 p.m.) with the kind words for you: there is nothing left. If you close at 9 p.m., you should communicate this visibly with potential customers. So I can't say anything about the food, but this expulsion alone is enough for 0 stars in my opinion

Well, I don't know exactly what kind of little sausage it was and the sauce wasn't really good, the fries were very salty. I actually like to eat curry sausage, but I didn't like it, the price for a small cola and 2 curry sausages with fries was 26 euros, in my opinion, much too high.

We were walking in Schwabing last Sunday and discovered this restaurant that specializes in fries. We found the portion very puny but since it tasted so good, we enjoyed it anyway. The two of us shared a truffle fries. Unfortunately the service wasn't that friendly. Nevertheless, today we decided to snack on some fries while we were walking. Unfortunately today it didn't taste like truffles at all and the portion was also much smaller. For €6.50 this is really weak, especially the portion! Because the taste was missing today, I decided to write a review. We also noticed that the two people at the next table had a much larger portion. Twice as much as us! And for your understanding, only one size is sold here. We noticed that the gentlemen's fries were prepared by another colleague. For us it was a gentleman. I find it very disgraceful that not all employees can prepare the fries in the same way. I hope you work on it! Although I don't think I'll come again... Thank you!

A quick meal on the go. Fries offers standard fast food, but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. The atmosphere is loud and hectic. The food was average and could definitely be better. Maybe more suitable for a quick snack than a long meal.

Immer wieder super lecker! Tolles Ambiente, gute Musik und erstklassige Pommes! Komme schon seit Jahren und wurde nie enttäuscht! Dass die Soßen-Theke zur Selbstbedienung wieder da ist hat mich besonders gefreut! Unbedingt auch mal die Salate (dazu) probieren, sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich kommen hier seit mindestens 12 Jahren gerne zum Essen, die Pommes sind die Besten in München, die Dips überdurchschnittlich gut, der Service immer nett und es läuft stets gute Musik!

We have been 3 people and we waited for our lunch about 35 minutes. Would be acceptable in a Restaurant which is busy and the food is outstanding at the end. The Burger meat was dry and the french fries tasted awful. The Currywurst should get 1 star - I am not sure what type of sausage and sauce they have provided. The Falafel were disappointing as well. Sorry guys - value for money, quality of the food and service did not meet our expectations. Considering your 10th anniversary you have room for improvement.

Wir haben den direkten Vergleich: Pommes tatsächlich wie in Belgien! Verschiedene Saucen (mit Refill), sehr lecker. Auch Fish&Chips sowie ChiliCheese war super gut. Preise sind angemessen.

Tatsächlich sind nur die Pommes empfehlenswert, ansonsten lohnt die Bestellung anderer Speisen nicht!

Die beligischen Pommes sind die besten, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man muss nicht allzulange warten

Obwohl die Pommes Boutique bei angemessenem Ambiente und Freundlichkeit des Personals zunächst viel hermacht, verliert der Laden nach dm Bestellen: Lange Wartezeiten auch bei wenig Betrieb, ein fast geschmackloses „hausgemachtes“ Curry und leider austauschbar wirkende Saucen, die Angebote wie „feurig“ in keinster Weise halten können. Wenigstens nicht zuuu teuer, aber gehobene.

Ambiente war angenehm, jedoch wurde uns leider das falsche Essen gegeben was auf Nachfrage ignoriert wurde. Die Patties waren durchgebraten & das Bun sehr trocken, der Burger war eine absolute Enttäuschung. Pommes waren gut aber nicht überragend.

Leckere Pommes gut für einen schnellen Snack, haben dort die Chili Cheese Pommes gegessen sehr sehr lecker, Preis auch voll in Ordnung!

Guter Service, angenehmes Ambiente durch durchdachte Inneneinrichtung, wie auch ein wirklich sauberes Etablissement. Das Essen war durchwegs gut und jedesmal etwas besonderes. Mein persönlicher Favorit sind die selbstgemachte Schorlen und die daraus entstehenden Cocktails. Außerordentlich freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.
