The fillet steak and rump steak were incredibly tender and juicy. The meat was top-quality! They also served croquettes, fries, and a corn on the cob. Everything was delicious. Very friendly service, and the chef came to the table to ask if everything was okay. Excellent! Highly recommended!

We booked a party for 15 people very spontaneously for the evening and were so pleasantly surprised. Incredibly friendly, accommodating, and great food. We celebrated our 11-year-old son's birthday, and he was thrilled. We felt very welcome and at home.

My husband and I came back here after a long time. It's a bit of a long drive, but it was absolutely worth it. The food, service, and ambiance are truly top-notch. They truly have the best steak for miles around. And the prices are reasonable. We'd be happy to come back.

The cheeseburger was delicious and, upon request, they even made it quite spicy. The meat dishes are also always top-notch, prepared with care, fresh, and delicious.

We arrived a little early, but the food still came super quickly. The service was super fast, very friendly, and accommodating. The food was so incredibly good! The fried potatoes were super crispy and the sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. The pepper sauce had a very intense flavor, perfectly balanced. An absolute must for anyone who loves steak! We'd love to come back!

Excellent steaks, all the food was delicious, even if I couldn't understand the price for !some! side dishes. Unfortunately, the staffing levels were very low that evening, and we felt a bit neglected. This was made up for by a pleasant conversation at the end and the very loving treatment of our children. Comfortably furnished. Perhaps a little sprucing up here and there, but overall, it was a good place. We will definitely give it a second chance.

We were there today. Unfortunately the asparagus wasn't fully cooked, the potatoes were from yesterday and the steak platter was a steak cut into three pieces for €35! We paid €75 for two dishes with a drink.

Highly recommended! Consistently high quality and delicious. The host is super friendly and accommodating. The dining room is beautiful and cozy.

I went here for dinner with my family today. First glance at the menu: Okay, steak restaurant, the prices are high. Unfortunately, the waitress couldn't help us when we asked about the dishes. What we got was, to say the least, a disgrace. A single steak on a white plate. Nothing garnished or fancy. A portion size that could only be described as minimalist. I was hoping for something good and was unfortunately disappointed. At least the three bites were tasty. When I paid, the price didn't match the one on the menu. I will steer clear of this restaurant in the future and can't recommend it in good conscience! I'm sitting at the Golden Seagull now; unfortunately, you have to get full somehow.

I had dinner there last night with my work colleagues and it was very nice. There is a lot to choose from and the prices are fair for a steakhouse. The service was very friendly, always asked if everything was OK and whether we needed any more drinks etc. I was very satisfied. Would like to give more than 5 stars.

That was a great evening, we made a reservation by email at short notice. The table was great... The starters: mussels, bread 🍞 with dip and salad buffet was great. The salad selection was good and varied. The meat [fillet and rump steak] were excellently fried, to the point... The variations of the side dishes are really great We had: croquettes, fried onions, herb cream and corn. Everything in individual portions so that it could be easily shared. We have now eaten at meat&more three times within a very short space of time. During all visits, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff were particularly noticeable. The dishes were always on point and perfectly prepared, especially to our liking. The cooking level of the steaks was absolutely perfect. The meat&more is a steakhouse that I will definitely enjoy visiting again. I'm already looking forward to it!

Here, and really only here, you can get the best steaks. The value for money is incredible. We eat a lot of steaks everywhere in Germany, but nowhere does it taste as incredibly good as here. The restaurateur is also a pearl of a person. On Instagram German, ne 12 out of 10

There were three of us for dinner. We were greeted very friendly with a handshake. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the staffing was simply too tight. A single young girl had to serve, tap and do it all at the same time. The restaurant was full, even the small side room used for celebrations was occupied. Guests inside and outside. The boss (I'm not sure if it's the boss) also served, but I think it was more the customers in the room and a lot of small talk. At least the young employee was often only seen alone. On a Saturday with room occupancy, many not enough. From what I heard, not an isolated case. Ordering took a long time, as did the drinks. The food itself came quite quickly and was also very tasty. If the staff is being bled dry like that, I have to say it's not correct. I really felt sorry for the girl. So conclusion: If the staff issue wasn't an issue, I would say: again at any time. It was very tasty 😋.

Rustic and friendly furnishings with very friendly and attentive service. The food was served very quickly. I very rarely eat meat, but here it's fun to enjoy the taste and the preparation. The pictures speak for themselves. There's usually not much going on on Sunday evenings, but you can have a chat with the waiter.

Das war phantastisch. Anders kann ich es nicht sagen. Vom Ambiente über die freundliche und flotte Bedienung bis zum qualitativ hochwertigen Essen ein absolut gelungener Abend.

Super Essen und guter Service! Wir haben bisher immer die Platten für 2-3 Personen genommen, alles war Frisch und Lecker zubereitet. Dazu kam dann noch das Salatbuffet welches auch Vielseitig und Frisch zur Verfügung war. Die Preise sind Fair und das Ambiente ist Gemütlich!

Bestes Filet ever in unserer Region. Jedesmal mal wieder lecker.

Über mehrere Jahre unser Stammlokal zum Schnitzelessen am Mittwoch. Lokale Speisen. Frische Salate. Am Mittwoch in der Preis Leistung unschlagbar. Ansonsten aber auch ein absolut faires Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Vom Ambiente auf der Retro Welle der späten 90er. Da hätte der Laden Luft nach oben. UPDATE: Wird 2018 vom jetzigen Pächter leider nicht weitergeführt und ist nach meinem Kenntnisstand ab Weihnachten 2017 zu.

Cafe oder no Cafe... Ich wollte heute mit meinem Vater einen gemütlichen Kaffee trinken und stoppten am Plantagen Eck. Steht groß dran: Cafe und Restaurant! Drinnen schickte uns die Kellnerin in den "großen Saal". Dort war ein Treffen der Awo mit ca. 50 Personen. Als wir versuchten uns in einen anderen Raum zu setzen sagte man uns: "Das geht nicht. Wir sind kein Cafe!" ??? Wie kein Cafe? Steht doch draußen am Haus! Der Chef sagte, schon seit Jahren nicht mehr! Na ja, wenn wir nicht erwünscht sind können wir ja auch wieder gehen. Waren dann in Detmold. NIE WIEDER PLANTAGEN ECK!
