My favorite Greek, excellent food

Very accommodating friendly staff! Food is very good, sometimes a bit too greasy! Good drinks menu. After years of absence, we were there again at the beginning of 2021 and picked up food (unfortunately, a visit to the restaurant is not possible due to Corona!)! Food was excellently prepared, well seasoned and absolutely plentiful! The lamb was a highlight! The thumbs up and 5 stars are completely justified! Please continue....

The food was good, price/performance ok. But the service was unfriendly, harsh, taciturn and not at all careful. Maybe you should have paid extra for a smile?

Has no more Samos. A reason for us to look for another Greek. If not no longer open. Then you could at least offer it as bottled wine

Excellent grilled sea bass, just as delicious the stuffed peppers! The cold starter plate was also excellent, everything was fresh and absolutely delicious! Service very friendly.

The food was super tasty. Everything freshly prepared. Unfortunately it takes a little longer.

In summer it is quite pleasant to sit on the market square. Otherwise a mediocre Greek restaurant. There are much better ones in the area.

Nice host, very good food. But drink prices are the crowning glory. 3.50€ for a 0.33 cola??

Prices for the portions are excessive. Pitta bread not crispy. Hangs over fingers. Fries cold and soft! Waiter not friendly. With a bill of €135 for 4 people (unlike the surrounding tables), we didn't even get a "sweet ouzo" at the end.

There were 11 people: Gyros/fish was good and service too. Unfortunately the rice didn't taste like anything, no spices, nothing. Fries were probably some of the worst I've ever eaten (I know the Greeks can't do that in general, but that was the cherry on top). The leg of lamb was tender but unfortunately didn't taste like much and there were no spices either. Unfortunately the pork fillet also had no spices. Overall it was okay, but there are many better Greek restaurants in the area.

An institution in Gilching for many years. Pleasant atmosphere, very attentive service, delicious food. Price=Value. Good parking options.

Immer wieder gerne! Preis Leistung absolut Top! Super schneller und sehr freundlicher Service! Waren dort zum Geburtstag meines Sohnes. Hatte eine Nachspeise bestellt die mit einer Wunderkerze kam. Wirklich sehr schön angerichtet und die Nachspeise ging aufs Haus!!

Sehr gutes griechisches Restaurant. Ich hatte Auberginen und Zucchini gebacken als Vorspeise und Gyros in Metaxa-sauce. War sehr lecker. Ambiente ist gemütlich und das Personal sehr freundlich.

Das essen war , sorry, kalt und von schlechter Qualität. Das Fleisch war extrem fettig!!!

OK, we've been coming here for years (and to their previous location in Gauting before that) and I'm finally getting around to posting a Google review (I know, I'm lazy). Firstly, the staff are super friendly, super efficient and super super. They always arrange to find us a table without reservations (yes, we already established that I'm lazy). Secondly, the food is exceptional. I cannot praise their gyros enough - we've been "everywhere" including Greece (and their neighbor to the east - and forget about the US and much of northern Germany) including fancy places and dives, and I never found better. The portions are large and the meat is perfectly crisped. Be sure to ask for onions on top - for some reason they stopped doing automatically about a year ago. And the fried calamari is perfect as well - most places can't get the breading and the frying time right, but Plaka is right on spot everytime. And lastly, the prices for food and drink are extremely reasonable - even after moderately increasing their prices after COVID. My regular is gyros with pita and a glass of retsina (again, too lazy to try the other choices). We seldom pay more than 20 EUR per person, drinks and Trinkgeld included. Bring cash.

Sehr netter Wirt und das Essen gut. Haut mich allerdings nicht vom Hocker. Etwas mehr Einfallsreichtum, den die griechische Küche auf jeden Fall hergeben würde wäre schön.....

Lecker griechisches Essen und sehr nette Gastgeber!

Gutes und leckeres Essen in einem netten Ambiente. Man kann sehr gut draußen sitzen und auch die weit zu öffnenden Fenster Elemente sind prima. Der Service kann ein wenig dauern, gerade wenn viel los ist, aber man wird mit leckerem Essen fürs warten entschädigt. Der Vorspeisenteller ist lecker, wenn auch ein wenig klein für den Preis. Die Hauptgerichte sind ebenfalls gut und ich werde sicher wieder vorbei kommen und wieder einen netten Abend genießen.

Super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, Wartezeit aufs Essen war unter 15 Minuten und das Essen war wirklich einfach himmlisch!!! Kann man wirklich nur empfehlen!

Super leckeres Essen. Personal bei bollfm Haus überfordert.

Scheint der Spot in Gilching zu sein, wo sich die Leute treffen. Jedenfalls ist die Bedienung sehr freundlich, der Chef dabei immer persönlich unterwegs. Das Essen schmeckt wirklich gut und es gibt eine Tageskarte mit zwei gerichten und einem Nachtisch (ich war nur einmal da, vielleicht ändert es sich), jedenfalls konnte ich ein Hänchenfilet mit schafskäse, kartoffeln und Erbsen genießen und war begeistert. Auch der Grieskuchen mit Vanilleeis und Früchten war sehr schön angerichtet und hat auch wunderbar geschmeckt. Das einzige manko wie so oft in der griechischen küche ist die bescheidene auswahl an fleischlosen gerichten, wobei das gemüsemoussaka wohl auch gut sein soll. Preise sind wie üblich, allerdings sicher nicht unfair mit guter menge. Ambiente ist passend, griechische statuen, bilder und viel platz im gut beluchteten raum. Im sommer bestimmt noch schöner, dann kann man draussen am platz sitzen. Parkplätze gibt es genügend direkt am restaurant und das ganze lokal ist ebenerdig, bis auf die toilette (zwecks rollstuhlfreundlichkeit) Alles in allem, sehr empfehlenswertes lokal!

Ich schätzen hier besonders, dass man nicht gedrängt wird, etwas nachzubestellen, wenn man nach dem Essen noch länger sitzt.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit freundlicher Bedienung und schmackhaften Speisen zu fairen Preisen.
